  1. Deckland vs Torture Dancer
  2.
  3. Not really any frameworks, both teams put forth 1-2 win conditions.
  4.
  5. Deck's win con, piercing: Deck demonstrates that his team has piercing, and that the opposing team does not really have piercing resistance. Torture puts up one feat for Meurem that shows him being better than attacks that can cut off human heads, which is irrelevant compared to what Deck's team can do. There's also like, vague discussion of Charizard's cutting durability. I think Torture unintentionally fell into a trap, where Deck soft acquiesce that Zard has piercing resistance but says it doesn't matter, and then Torture sees this and goes "oh he conceded that Zard has piercing resistance, you see." However, no actual piercing resistance feat is ever linked in the debate, so Torture just kind of attempts to uphold this feat with nothing. As it stands, it seems pretty clear Torture's team would get chopped up. Although, this is potentially answered by...

  7. Torture's win con, flight: Meurem and Charizard can fly and Jack and Raiden cannot. Meurem and Charizard have ranged attacks. In theory this argument is really good, and would totally bypass the piercing argument. Unfortunately I think it falls a little flat. Deck does well to point out that the ranged attacks on both ends have long charge times and vague speeds, which make them far from a guaranteed hit. He also points out that this isn't really in character behavior for either character, which is true. Charizard has a ton of melee options he goes for often, and Meurem has never fought like this before. There's also the arguments about Jack's range, which Torture has to rebut by saying that his team stands at the absolute top of the dome and rains down ranged attacks, a claim I think is overall just kind of ridiculous in terms of being in character, especially for Charizard. Unfortunately for Torture, I don't think this holds much water

  9. Torture's last win con, heat attacks: This puts all the eggs in the Charizard has heat attacks basket. And unfortunately for Torture, Deck does a great job of rebutting this. He brings up that the attacks don't ever visibly burn anything, he brings up their vague speed which would get worse through equalization, he brings up that Raiden does have some measure of heat resistance, and he brings up the long charge time on these attacks. All of these put up way too many barriers for this to be a viable method of winning.

  11. So overall, I think it's pretty likely that Deck gets his melee confrontation, and when he does, Torture's team just gets chopped up.
