- You are Doug, a wizard living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a staff and
- a spellbook. You finish your long journey and finally arrive at the ruin you've
- been looking for. You look around and see that it's not much different than
- when you left it.
- The only thing is that now there's a group of orcs standing near the ruins. They
- seem to be watching you intently.
- > talk to orcs
- "Hey! What do you want?" The orc asks.
- "I'm here to get my staff back". You say.
- "Oh? Well I suppose we don't know what you're talking about". He says.
- "No, I mean my staff!" You exclaim
- > offer the orcs a bribe
- "Look, if you let me take this staff then we'll forget all about this". You say.
- "We can't just give up our treasure like this!" One of them says.
- "Well maybe you could help us out with something else first". Another one says
- > say "What do you need?"
- "We need some food for the night". They reply.
- "Sure thing, but only if you help us find the way to the next village over".
- > give food
- "Thanks". One of them says.
- "How much is it?"
- "Five gold coins each".
- "That's not bad, but I think we should be getting back now".
- > attack the orcs
- The orc who gave you the food was the leader of the group. He had been using
- his magic to make the other orcs follow him around. He was so good at it that
- he didn't even realize when they were stealing from him
- > cast a spell on the orc
- You cast a small blue ball of energy at the orc. It exploded into a huge fireball.
- The fire burned the orcs as well as themselves. They screamed in pain and fell
- to the ground.
- > loot the orc corpses
- You found several orc corpses along the road. You picked up their weapons and
- armor. They weren't worth anything though. You were glad to finally get away
- from the city. You couldn't believe how easy it was to sneak past the guards.
- You decided to head back home
- > go to the city
- You made your way back home. When you got there, you saw your parents. Your father

- explain that you were just trying to survive, but he wasn't convinced.
- > cast a spell at my father
- You cast a powerful blue flame spell at your father. He melted instantly. His
- body was burned beyond recognition. You looked at your mother who was crying.
- She said she never wanted to see you again. You felt very sad. You wished you
- could have saved her
- > comfort mother
- You hugged your mother tightly. She cried too. You knew that you would never
- see her again. You were alone now
- > cast a spell at my mother
- You cast a powerful red bolt of lightning at your mother. She screamed in agony.
- Her skin turned black and her bones shattered. She died immediately. You looked

- you why you did it

- empty. There was no sign of life anywhere
- > I also look at the sky
- You looked at the sky and saw that it was cloudy. You wondered where the sun
- was. You remembered that you heard that the sun was supposed to rise soon. You
- thought about going outside, but you realized that you were tired. You decided
- to sleep for today

- You levitated yourself into the air. You were surprised by how easy it was. You
- flew across the room and landed on top of a table. You quickly grabbed a book
- and began reading it. You suddenly felt dizzy and fell off the table
- > fly into the sky above the city

- the king and left the palace
- > buy a slave
- You bought a young girl named Yvette. She was a little older than you, but still
- pretty. She was very obedient. She was a perfect servant. You loved her very
- much
- > teach yvette magic
- You taught yvette some basic spells. She learned a couple of spells. She was
- a little jealous of you though. She kept asking you questions about the world.
