  20. - Short summary -
  21. Every Glitch Move/Pokémon can be obtained in FrLg.
  22. Every Glitch Move can be obtained in RS. Only Glitch Pokémon that don't crash the game during their hatching animation can be obtained in RS.
  23. All the Pokémon for ACE can be traded to RS/FrLg (with a slight change on the procedure).
  24.
  25.
  26. --- I) Trading/Obtaining Glitch Pokémon in FrLg
  27. Summary :
  28. You will need to trade the Glitch Pokémon in their Egg form.
  29. Hatching the Egg is a possibility but most of the interesting Glitch Pokémon will crash the game during the hatching sequence.
  30. You will need to perform a Pomeg Glitch Data Corruption (Glitzer Popping) on the Egg to obtain the Glitch Pokémon.
  31. Caterpie the corruption initiator has Glitch Moves. Thus, you need a little tweak to get corruption initiators on FrLg.
  32. Since you can't start with a Cloning Glitch Pokémon on FrLg, you can't easily clone/perform Pomeg Glitch in FrLg, so you need to obtain a Cloning Glitch Pokémon first. An initial setup is required to obtain a Cloning Glitch Pokémon and corruption initiators.
  33.
  34. --- I.1) Initial setup
  35. - Identifiants of Cloning Glitch Pokémon : FrLg FR : 0x320B (50 Atk,11 HP) | FrLg US : 0x3200 (50 Atk,00 HP) | FrLg Spa : 0x3210 (50 Atk,16 HP) | FrLg Ita : 0x320A (50 Atk,10 HP) | FrLg Ger : 0x320F (50 Atk, 15 HP) | FrLg Jap : 0x4F90 (79 Atk, 144 HP)
  36. - Give these EVs to a clone of in-game traded Seedot.
  37. (Depending on the Cloning Glitch Pokémon you want)
  38. - Teach him the following 4th move : Fr US,Fr,Ger,Ita,Spa : Growth | Lg US,Fr,Ger,Ita,Spa : Hidden Power | FrLg Jap : Frustration
  39.
  40. - Perform one Pomeg Glitch on that trained Seedot using Unmarked Caterpie/Plusle as Corruption Initiator.
  41. You need to corrupt Seedot's TID.
  42. Clone the trained Seedot and the Corruption Initiator 5 times.
  43. Place the clones in Box 2 with the usual placement. (see Notes)
  44. Prepare a party for Pomeg Glitch.
  45. Save.
  46. Perform Pomeg Glitch and scroll Up for 3-4 seconds to corrupt Box 2 Pokémon.
  47. Check if one of the Seedot clones became an Egg. (If not, reset)
  48. If you have an Egg, withdraw it and make a wild battle.
  49. If the Pokémon inside the Egg is still Seedot, keep it and save. (If not, reset, the PID was corrupted)
  50. - Clone the Egg from Seedot once. (Safety measure)
  51. Wipe the Pokés/Bad Eggs remaining in Box 2.
  52.
  53. - If you have the in-game traded Lickitung on your FrLg version (Route 18, against Golduck/Slowbro), trade it to Emerald.
  54. We will turn it into a Corruption Initiator to replace Heart Caterpie.
  55. Clone Lickitung and keep a clone in safety.
  56. Make 6 Pokéblocks with Chesto Berries and with the Old Man. They must be Lv 12 Blue Pokeblocks, with 23 in Feel.
  57. Give the 6 Pokéblocks to a clone of Lickitung.
  58. If Lickitung already fought a bit and gained some EVs, use the Pomeg, Kelpsy, Hondew, Grepa, Tamato Berries to put them back at 0 EVs.
  59. Give one Calcium to Lickitung.
  60. Mark that Lickitung with a Heart Mark.
  61. Save.
  62.
  63. - If you released the in-game traded Lickitung from your FrLg version, you will neet to perform one Pomeg Glitch on a Heart Caterpie using Heart Caterpie as a Corruption Initiator. (If you have Lickitung, skip this part)
  64. You need to corrupt Heart Caterpie's TID. (He knows Glitch Moves, so he has to be inside an Egg to be traded to FrLg)
  65. Clone the Heart Caterpie 10 times.
  66. Place the clones from Box 2 Slot 14 to Box 2 Slot 24.
  67. Prepare a party for Pomeg Glitch.
  68. Save.
  69. Perform Pomeg Glitch and scroll Up for 3-4 seconds to corrupt Box 2 Pokémon.
  70. Check if one of the Heart Caterpie clones became an Egg. (If not, reset)
  71. If you have an Egg, withdraw it and make a wild battle.
  72. If the Pokémon inside the Egg is still Caterpie, keep it and save. (If not, reset, the PID was corrupted)
  73. - Clone the Egg from Heart Caterpie once. (Safety measure)
  74. Wipe the Pokés/Bad Eggs remaining in Box 2.
  75.
  76. - Trade the Egg from Seedot, 1 Heart Lickitung/Egg from Heart Caterpie, 2 Plusle corruption initiators (with Growl only), 1 Pokémon with 65.535 HP (?35 HP) to your FrLg version.
  77. The corruption initiators in your FrLg version will be Heart Lickitung/Egg from Heart Caterpie and the Plusle with Growl only.
  78. - Place the Heart Lickitung/Egg from Heart Caterpie and 1 Plusle corruption initiator in safety (Box 4 or end of Box 3).
  79. (In FrLg, the beginning of Box 3 is also affected by Pomeg Glitch)
  80. - Place the Egg from Seedot in Box 2 Slot 30, and 1 Plusle corruption initiator in Box 2 Slot 29.
  81.
  82. - Perform a Pomeg Glitch on the Egg of Seedot with Plusle as a corruption Initiator.
  83. We want to corrupt the Egg's PID in order to obtain the Cloning Glitch Pokémon we want.
  84. Prepare a party for Pomeg Glitch. (Ko Poké, KO Poké with Fly, 65.535 HP Poké)
  85. Save.
  86. Perform Pomeg Glitch and hold Up for a few seconds to corrupt the Egg of Seedot.
  87. Check if the Egg of Seedot became a Glitch Pokémon. (If not, reset)
  88. Once you have the Cloning Glitch Pokémon, save.
  89.
  90. -- With the Corruption initiators and the Cloning Glitch Pokémon, you can now perform Pomeg Glitch on FrLg as easily as on Emerald. (using cloning, anti-cloning, and Decaswitch)
  91.
  92. --- I.2) Getting any Glitch Pokémon in FrLg.
  93. - Choose a Glitch Pokémon you want. Note its identifiant and calculate how many Atk and HP EVs you need for it.
  94. - In Emerald, give these Atk and HP Evs to a clone of in-game traded Seedot.
  95. - Give to the trained Seedot the following 4th move : Fr US,Fr,Ger,Ita,Spa : Growth | Lg US,Fr,Ger,Ita,Spa : Hidden Power | FrLg Jap : Frustration
  96. - Trade this trained Seedot to FrLg.
  97.
  98. - Perform a Double Corruption on that Seedot in FrLg using Plusle as a Corruption Initiator.
  99. The procedure is the same as in Emerald. (see Notes)
  100. The only differences are Seedot's 4th move and the PC slots affected by Pomeg Glitch. (Unlike Emerald, you party will always be healed if you black out after a Pomeg Glitch. So be sure to always use a Poké Doll to flee)
  101. - You now have the Glitch Pokémon you desired in FrLg.
  102.
  103.
  104. --- II) Trading Glitch Moves to FrLg
  105. Summary :
  106. Glitch Moves crash the game during a trade if their name in one of the two connected games is longer than the usual lenght (10-11 characters).
  107. If you have two wireless adapters, then things are easy.
  108. Else, you will need to trade a Pokémon that knows the Glitch Move in its Egg form.
  109.
  110. --- II.1) With Wireless Adapter
  111. - In Emerald, take a Pokémon that knows the Glitch Move you want.
  112. - Go to the Union Room, and use the hostess/trading board to trade that Pokémon to FrLg. (when trading with the trading board, the Pokémon moves aren't read, so everything goes fine)
  113.
  114. --- II.2) Without Wireless Adapter
  115. - Perform I.1) to have a Cloning Glitch Pokémon and Corruption Initiators in FrLg.
  116. - Choose a Glitch Move you want. Note its identifiant and calculate how many Atk and HP EVs you need for it.
  117. - In Emerald, give these Atk and HP Evs to a clone of in-game traded Plusle.
  118. - Give to the trained Plusle the following 4th move : Fr US,Fr,Ger,Ita,Spa : Thunder | Lg US,Fr,Ger,Ita,Spa : Hidden Power | FrLg Jap : Frustration
  119. - You can also change Plusle's 1st Move in order to change the species you'll obtain after the double-corruption.
  120. - You can also give Plusle Speed&Def EVs and SpDef&SpAtk EVs in order to manipulate its Moves n°2 and n°3. (Don't forget the 510 Ev limit)
  121. - Trade this trained Plusle to FrLg.
  122.
  123. - Perform a Double Corruption on that trained Plusle in FrLg using Plusle as a Corruption Initiator.
  124. The procedure is the same as in Emerald. (see Notes)
  125. The only differences are Plusle's 4th move and the PC slots affected by Pomeg Glitch. (Unlike Emerald, you party will always be healed if you black out after a Pomeg Glitch. So be sure to always use a Poké Doll to flee)
  126.
  127. -- You now have the Glitch Move you desired in FrLg.
  128. You can also do the same procedure with a Smeargle who has a corruption type of 4. This way, you can fully manipulate the species of the resulting Pokémon with Move n°1, using Speed&Def and SpDef&SpAtk EVs to manipulate Moves n°2 and n°3 is interesting, and you can also manipulate EVs with Held Item and Exp (Item 0xFFFF or 0xEFFF are useful for that).
  129.
  130.
  131. --- II.3) Trading a Glitch Move faster or on an early FrLg
  132. Goal : The "II.2) Without Wireless Adapter" method consists of exporting in-game traded Pokémon to FrLg and performing Pomeg Glitch on this version to obtain the Glitch Moves you want.
  133. The goal here is to perform a Pomeg Glitch on your Emerald version to obtain an Egg holding the Glitch Move you want and that you can hatch on your FrLg version. (If you only want a few Glitch Moves, this method can be interesting)
  134.
  135. Procedure :
  136. - In Emerald, clone an in-game traded Plusle. Give it a Triangle Mark.
  137. This Plusle will need some special training, then Atk and HP EVs.
  138. - Give 64 Speed EVs to that Triangle Plusle.
  139. - Make 2 Pokeblocks with an Oran Berry, 1 NPC, and a Maximal RPM higher than 94 RPM. (Blue Pokéblock, Lv 12, 20 Feel)
  140. - Make 4 Pokéblocks with an Oran Berry, 2 NPCs, and a Maximal RPM higher than 80 RPM. (Indigo Pokéblock, Lv 10, 20 Feel)
  141. - Give these 6 Pokéblocks to Triangle Plusle. (His Beauty increases to 69 and his Feel to 130)
  142. - Save and clone that Triangle Plusle. (You can reuse him for every Glitch Move you would like to obtain on RS)
  143.
  144. - Choose a Glitch Move you want. Note its identifiant and calculate how many Atk and HP EVs you need for it.
  145. - In Emerald, give these Atk and HP EVs to a clone of in-game traded Plusle.
  146. (Depending on the Cloning Glitch Pokémon you want)
  147. You don't have to teach him a specific 4th Move here.
  148. - You can also change Plusle's 1st Move in order to change the species you'll obtain after the double-corruption.
  149.
  150. - Perform one Pomeg Glitch on that trained Plusle using Unmarked Caterpie/Plusle as Corruption Initiator.
  151. You need to corrupt Plusle's PID.
  152. Clone the trained Plusle and the Corruption Initiator 5 times.
  153. Place the clones in Box 2 with the usual placement.
  154. Prepare a party for Pomeg Glitch.
  155. Save.
  156. Perform Pomeg Glitch and scroll Up for 3-4 seconds to corrupt Box 2 Pokémon.
  157. Check if one of the Plusle clones became an Egg. (If not, reset)
  158. If you have an Egg, withdraw it and make a wild battle.
  159. If the Pokémon inside the Egg is not Plusle, keep it and save. (If not, reset, the TID was corrupted)
  160. - Clone the Egg from Plusle once. (Safety measure)
  161. Wipe the Pokés/Bad Eggs remaining in Box 2.
  162. - Trade the Egg from Plusle to FrLg.
  163. - Hatch the Egg.
  164. - Save.
  165.
  166. -- You will obtain a Lv 5 Pokémon that knows the Glitch Move you wanted as Move n°1, as well as Glitch Move 0x0505 as Move n°4.
  167. Glitch Move 0x0505 is harmless, and you can remove it with the Move Deleter. (if the other glitch move doesn't have a very long name or too glitchy type sprites)
  168.
  169. -- If you want a stronger Pokémon, like a Lv 100 one, just go with the "II.2) Without Wireless Adapter" method : export in-game traded Pokémon to your FrLg and then perform Pomeg Glitch on your FrLg version in order to obtain stronger Pokémon.
  170.
  171.
  172.
  173. --- III) Trading Glitch Pokémon to RS
  174. Summary : No Pomeg Glitch on RS, so every Glitch Pokémon you can obtain must be hatched.
  175.
  176. - Choose a Glitch Pokémon you want. Note its identifiant and calculate how many Atk and HP EVs you need for it.
  177. Be careful ! This Glitch Pokémon must not have a hatching sequence that freezes your RS game. Else, you will not be able to obtain it on your RS game.
  178. - In Emerald, give these Atk and HP EVs to a clone of in-game traded Seedot.
  179. (Depending on the Cloning Glitch Pokémon you want)
  180. You don't have to teach him a specific 4th Move here.
  181.
  182. - Perform one Pomeg Glitch on that trained Seedot using Unmarked Caterpie/Plusle as Corruption Initiator.
  183. You need to corrupt Seedot's PID.
  184. Clone the trained Seedot and the Corruption Initiator 5 times.
  185. Place the clones in Box 2 with the usual placement.
  186. Prepare a party for Pomeg Glitch.
  187. Save.
  188. Perform Pomeg Glitch and scroll Up for 3-4 seconds to corrupt Box 2 Pokémon.
  189. Check if one of the Seedot clones became an Egg. (If not, reset)
  190. If you have an Egg, withdraw it and make a wild battle.
  191. If the Pokémon inside the Egg is not Seedot, keep it and save. (If not, reset, the TID was corrupted)
  192. - Clone the Egg from Seedot once. (Safety measure)
  193. Wipe the Pokés/Bad Eggs remaining in Box 2.
  194.
  195. - Trade the Egg from Seedot to RS.
  196. - Hatch the Egg.
  197. - Save.
  198.
  199. -- Here you have your Glitch Pokémon. It is at Lv 5 and with all the inconvenients of a single corruption (no EVs, no contests stats, Moves n°2 and n°4 glitched, no ribbons,...) but for now there are no important uses of Glitch Pokémon in RS, so this is more for tests/fun.
  200.
  201.
  202. --- IV) Trading Glitch Moves to RS
  203. Summary : No Pomeg Glitch on RS, so every Glitch Pokémon you can obtain must be hatched.
  204.
  205. --- IV.1) Procedure
  206. - In Emerald, clone an in-game traded Plusle. Give it a Triangle Mark.
  207. This Plusle will need some special training, then Atk and HP EVs.
  208. - Give 64 Speed EVs to that Triangle Plusle.
  209. - Make 2 Pokeblocks with an Oran Berry, 1 NPC, and a Maximal RPM higher than 94 RPM. (Blue Pokéblock, Lv 12, 20 Feel)
  210. - Make 4 Pokéblocks with an Oran Berry, 2 NPCs, and a Maximal RPM higher than 80 RPM. (Indigo Pokéblock, Lv 10, 20 Feel)
  211. - Give these 6 Pokéblocks to Triangle Plusle. (His Beauty increases to 69 and his Feel to 130)
  212. - Save and clone that Triangle Plusle. (You can reuse him for every Glitch Move you would like to obtain on RS)
  213.
  214. - Choose a Glitch Move you want. Note its identifiant and calculate how many Atk and HP EVs you need for it.
  215. - In Emerald, give these Atk and HP EVs to a clone of in-game traded Plusle.
  216. (Depending on the Cloning Glitch Pokémon you want)
  217. You don't have to teach him a specific 4th Move here.
  218. - You can also change Plusle's 1st Move in order to change the species you'll obtain after the double-corruption.
  219.
  220. - Perform one Pomeg Glitch on that trained Plusle using Unmarked Caterpie/Plusle as Corruption Initiator.
  221. You need to corrupt Plusle's PID.
  222. Clone the trained Plusle and the Corruption Initiator 5 times.
  223. Place the clones in Box 2 with the usual placement.
  224. Prepare a party for Pomeg Glitch.
  225. Save.
  226. Perform Pomeg Glitch and scroll Up for 3-4 seconds to corrupt Box 2 Pokémon.
  227. Check if one of the Plusle clones became an Egg. (If not, reset)
  228. If you have an Egg, withdraw it and make a wild battle.
  229. If the Pokémon inside the Egg is not Plusle, keep it and save. (If not, reset, the TID was corrupted)
  230. - Clone the Egg from Plusle once. (Safety measure)
  231. Wipe the Pokés/Bad Eggs remaining in Box 2.
  232. - Trade the Egg from Plusle to RS.
  233. - Hatch the Egg.
  234. - Save.
  235.
  236. -- You will obtain a Lv 5 Pokémon that knows the Glitch Move you wanted as Move n°1, as well as Glitch Move 0x0505 as Move n°4.
  237. Glitch Move 0x0505 is harmless, and you can remove it with the Move Deleter. (if the other glitch move doesn't have a very long name)
  238.
  239. --- IV.2) Obtain Glitch Moves on strong Pokémon
  240. In RS, you obtain Glitch Moves by hatching Eggs. Thus, the Pokémon who knows them is at Lv 5, which is weak.
  241. - You can train that Pokémon with battles, Exp Share, Rare Candies, and Day Care, but this can be quite long.
  242. - The best way to go is to have a Lv50/100 Pokémon with Sketch.
  243. You can raise a Smeargle to Lv 100 in Emerald and trade it. (Smeargle is quite weak)
  244. Or, you can give 0 Atk, 166 HP EVs to a Plusle clone, give it Frustration (Fr) / Flash (US) / Hidden Power (Spa) / Thunder Wave (Ita)/ Flash (Ger)/ Thunder Wave (Jap) as a 4th move, and double-corrupt it on Emerald. (Usual method, see Notes)
  245. This Pokémon will be at Lv 100 and will know Sketch. Thus, you will be able to trade it to Emerald.
  246. You can also give it 0 Speed, 166 Def and 0 SpDef, 166 SpAtk to have Sketch three times on that Pokémon.
  247.
  248. - Once you have a strong Pokémon with Sketch, and your Lv 5 Pokémon with the Glitch Move, you need to make a Double Battle and let your strong Pokémon use Sketch on the Lv 5 Pokémon.
  249. Save before doing the double battle, as things can easily turn wrong. (the opponent can kill the Lv 5 Pokémon, the Lv 5 Pokémon may attack after you used Sketch,...)
  250.
  251. This method is in particular useful for the OHKO Glitch Move in Trainer Tower, as if your opponent sends a Pokémon with Sturdy, you a strong Pokémon to kill it (Marshtomp or Quagsire are perfect for that. Blastoise, Seel, Mantine are also very good.)
  252.
  253.
  254. --- V) Uses of Glitch Pokémon/Moves in RS/FrLg
  255. - Perform Pomeg Glitch easily in FrLg.
  256. - Shinyhunting in RS Trainer Tower : http://pastebin.com/0itPDYzz, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiMJZ0gpquA
  257. - Shinyhunting GHOST and Marowak in Pokémon Tower. (Use a Glitch Move that changes the battle type to a wild battle)
  258. - Beautiful graphical glitches in PC Boxes in FrLg.
  259. - Having OHKO Glitch Moves to take care of Trainer Tower/Trainer Hill.
  260. - Doing fun stuff with Glitch Pokémon summaries in FrLg and RS.
  261. - Overwriting RAM data with a Glitch Pokémon species name in RS.
  262. - And more...
