  1. Prologue:
  2. -Nero and Tamamo are hanging out in your room, Nero suggests going to the sea for Golden Week. She has a swimsuit prepared this time. Nero references the one month you spent on an deserted island in the Summer Event. It's an experience Tamamo doesn't seem to want to repeat, and you have bad memories of metal huts too.
  3.
  4. -Emiya tells them off for disturbing you, you should just be standing by in your room today. He suggests that he teach you magecraft instead of going along with Nero & Tamamo's shenanigans.
  5.
  6. -Their bickering is interrupted by Mashu, who announces over the PA system that scheduled communications with the ocean-based oil rig, Seraphix, will be held today, and that all staff who have friends onboard the rig are welcome to use the videophone to communicate. The duration is half a day and the next session is scheduled in three months.
  7.
  8. -Nero asks what this Seraphix is and Tamamo explains it's sort of like a branch of Chaldea that also acts as a revenue stream, constructed by the previous Director. Emiya says it would be a good target for a terrorist.
  9. You decide to go down to the control center with the three Servants to see what's going on. Mashu is there to greet you, and Da Vinci is present too. Although Da Vinci isn't too interested, apparently the budget for this year will be decided on how well Seraphix is running, and even though a new Director will be appointed by the Mages' Association, as the current person-in-charge it still falls on her to know about these things.
  10.
  11. -Mashu gives you the details about the oil rig - it's in the North Sea and owned by the Animusphere family. There are more than 100 staff taking care of the place, and it's a precious source of revenue for Chaldea's operations.
  12. Those who would know more about the oil rig would be the older staff, but they were killed by Lev's sabotage. Because of the isolation of both sites - one in the mountains, and the other in the ocean - the staff that has been communicating with each other at both places have become fast friends. The session is something important to them. One of the Chaldea communications operators says that they've been in contact with Seraphix for going on five years now, and compares their relationship to that of Roman and Magi Mari.
  13.
  14. -When they open up communications with Seraphix, you notice something seems to be off with Shiva. Then, the operator says that they're unable to display the images on the monitor. While wondering if it's a malfunction, they pick up a voice.
  15. It is sending out an SOS, asking for help. You can barely make out something about everyone having disappeared and that their data is being changed. The line then drops. To find out what happens, Da Vinci uses Shiva and Chaldeas to observe Seraphix in 2017.
  16.
  17. -They find that Seraphix is just gone. There aren no signs of oil leaks on the ocean floor, or fire, or of any time-quakes, or any singularities. While they're trying to figure out what's going on, BB interrupts. She reminds those of you who are on trains or in the office to turn the volume of your phone off.
  18.
  19. -Or else, "Before your life is taken, your position in society might just get totally killed ❤"
  20.
  21. -She then announces the BB channel to the pathetic humans that haven't progressed even after thousands of years. It's enough to make BB-chan sympathize with you, although it's more of "you're pathetic" rather than "poor you".
  22.
  23. -Alarms sound and the Chaldea staff report that all control over Chaldea has been taken away. They wonder if it's a super A-class wizard, but BB proclaims she's neither a wizard nor a Master. She is the ruler of the Moon, the illegal upper-class AI, BB. Why can you hear her voice? Of course, it's because she's a cheat character. This is the way to give the biggest impact on her debut, a heroine that is as full of desires as a maiden and as cruel as an angel.
  24.
  25. -Unfortunately she's not fully voiced, but only partially: "There'll only be voiced lines on the first appearance, so please be disappointed, okay?"
  26.
  27. -And that's all for the voiced fanservice. She says that she's here to lend you a helping hand, and that the oil rig is no longer in this era, but in AD 2030, within the Mariana Trench. Using Chaldeas, you confirm that Seraphix is indeed there, and that a singularity has formed. BB urges you to quickly Rayshift there to rescue the Seraphix staff, since they are in a precarious situation at the moment.
  28.
  29. -BB asks for your name, and when you give it, she says it sounds like a mob character's name, how pitiful. But not to worry, she gets really hyped up over pitifulness, so she'll help you out, "senpai". Mashu gets triggered by this and asks what her aims really are and why she's calling you senpai.
  30.
  31. -BB explains it's a form of service, as motivation for you. For BB, there's only one Senpai in this universe, a sparkling prince of the stars. But she could not meet that person. After reigning as a boss, she regretted a lot of things and turned over a new leaf and corrected her fate. So you are only a stand-in for her Senpai. In place of her Senpai, you'll participate in this incident, and as her toy no. 2, she'll call you senpai.
  32.
  33. -Nero says it's useless talking with BB, and that if a singularity has appeared it's your duty to correct it. She asks Da Vinci to prepare the Rayshift, but Mashu says it's impossible to shift into the future. BB laughs at the limitations of 2017 technology and says she'll help out, allowing you to shift to the year 2030.
  34.
  35. -Da Vinci is suspicious why someone from the future is asking for help from someone of the past, but BB just dodges the question and says that what's important is that if you don't rescue the Seraphix soon, it'll be crushed under water pressure.
  36.
  37. -Emiya doesn't quite remember why, but he doesn't think you can trust BB. Tamamo too is suspicious, though she doesn't remember a thing. Still you can't let the staff on the Seraphix die, so you proceed anyway. Tamamo says she'll get serious this time and BB mocks her, saying it sounds like a death flag and she might just die in the prologue.
  38.
  39. -Before you leave, Da Vinci tells you that this is probably more serious than ever despite BB's attitude. You may not be able to contact Chaldea at all once you arrive on the other side, which is something she tells you to keep from Mashu. She further warns you to carefully weigh who are your allies and who are your enemies once you are there.
  40.
  41. -Just before you go, Mashu asks you to be careful, and: "When you're in a pinch, don't forget your kouhai, Mashu Kyrielight!"
  42.
  43. -Fou seems a bit out of sorts, and won't be coming along this time. You wonder if he's sick.
  44.
  45. -You make the shift, and BB starts laughing that you totally fell for it. The only one that can enter from the front gate of Seraphix would be you, with a capacity that does not even fill 1 GB. The other Servants that don't qualify for entry will be randomly teleported elsewhere in the base.
  46.
  47. -BB won't allow you humans to play on easy mode; hard mode is your task and your responsibility. There is no longer any way back. It is just a battlefield where you kill and kill without hope of victory. Here it is, the oldest and newest Holy Grail War.
  48. And with that, the title changes from:
  49.
  50. BB-chan's Counterattack/Let's Meet in the Sea of Electrons
  51. to
  52. Deep-Sea Cyber-Nirvana SE.RA.PH., Epic of Remnant: Extra
  53.
  54. ============================================================================================
  55.
  56. Chapter 1: Swan Lake Returns (1/6)
  57.
  58. -An announcer welcomes you to SE.RA.PH, and tells you the goal: to kill the 127 other Masters and their Servants, and obtain the omnipotent power of the Moon Cell, and that you have no choice in the matter.
  59.
  60. -BB welcomes you to this ero-trap from which there can be no return. She praises your frontier spirit as a Master who's beaten the Time Temple, but says there's not much worth praising besides that. You tell here that she's rude and that you're at least 2GB or thereabouts.
  61.
  62. -She's surprised that that's what you chose to pick at: "But the short and small evaluation of 1GB can't be overturned, so please accept it. It's okay, even though it's hard, just drink it down! What's important isn't the size, but the form!"
  63.
  64. -At any rate, your link with Chaldea has been cut off. As the game master, BB will now explain the rules. It's basicaly a survival battle royale between 128 Servants. The others have been tricked here just like you have. Since you are all alone and helpless without any Servants, BB'll give you some aid. She explains that this is Seraphix, just reconstructed with Pseudo-Spiritrons. You are actually at the main gate of Seraphix, where the staff usually pass through every morning.
  65.
  66. -You point out that the map is that of a giant woman, and BB asks you to ignore it. It's embarrassing for her, but it was only natural that when taking over the system, the oil rig and her consciousness assimilated. She says it is a product of the shape being re-formatted after cyberization. Anyway, once this SE.RA.PH sinks into the trench, everyone will still die, so you have to win the war before then.
  67.
  68. -The BB Channel ends and you are immediately attacked by Suzuka Gozen. Meltlilith comes to your aid before you get killed. She's been searching for a good doll (Master), and says that she'll help you against Suzuka if you contract with her. If not, you'll die here.
  69.
  70. -You contract with Melt. Melt tells you to keep away from the battle as Suzuka's attacks are wide ranging, but not so far that she loses sight of you. She doesn't trust you humans after all. If you leave her side and try to escape she'll melt you down.
  71.
  72. -They seem to have something called Karma Points (KP), which Suzuka calls the proof of a Sentinel. Suzuka's goal is to get the Holy Grail and regain her Saint Graph as the Princess of the Heavenly Demon. Melt says that she wasn't just merely slashing away, and that while Suzuka's KP is robust, but does it resist drugs and poison?
  73.
  74. -Melt proclaims herself the Alter-Ego of pleasure, the queen of poison and honey. She was the Sentinel before Suzuka. Not prepared against poison, Suzuka decides to retreat, though not before announcing herself as the JK Saber and daughter of the Demon King of the Fourth Heaven.
  75.
  76. -You thank Melt for her help and she says that no thanks is needed since she just wanted to find a Master. Even though she isn't a Heroic Spirit, she is a Servant. She tells you to calm down even if everything in this world must be new to you, then begins staring at you. She says you barely pass, but if you can play the role of her Master till the end, you'll surely return to your original world.
  77. Melt says that you'll need her escort to survive here, since Suzuka and others like her are roaming the place. It would not be an exaggeration to say the whole of SE.RA.PH is filled with your enemies. "Please feel happy and honoured, that a goddess such as I has come to your aid."
  78.
  79. -She says you have to move on and invade the central facility. Humans that remain in the corridors will be slowly converted into data and incorporated as part of SE.RA.PH. Even Servants would not last more than a few days. Though BB said it was a game, she cannot be trusted on that. Before arriving at the ocean floor, everyone in SE.RA.PH. would have already been converted into data.
  80.
  81. -It seems that time passes differently in SE.RA.PH compared to the outside. 1 minute in the outside world = 100 minutes here. It will take about two hours and a half for the base to sink to the bottom of the ocean floor, but that is equivalent to 10 days for you. This facility has also been expanded compared to its original oil rig design. For the moment, you will need to make your way towards a secure region.
  82.
  83. -You make to shake hands with Melt, and she calls you an idiot. Somewhat unwilling, she manages to do it with some difficulty. The contact seems to amaze her, and she says she's just stunned that there would be a human willing to touch an Alter-Ego.
  84.
  85. -Making your way through SE.RA.PH, you talk to Melt about Chaldea and how you got here. After hearing your story, she says it was the right decision for her to protect you. She explains that this SE.RA.PH is a labyrinth constructed from the oil rig Seraphix and that the original SE.RA.PH she came from, the world created by photonic crystals within the Moon, is even bigger. She also talks about a lot of Extra & CCC background story regarding the Moon Cell, the Grail War, BB's failed attempt to take over and the creation of Alter Egos.
  86.
  87. -You say that Melt is very kind to explain so much, and she reacts defensively. "To call this level of explanation "kind", do you have a capybara living in your head or something?"
  88.
  89. -Anyway, she's looking forward to the upcoming fight, as she detects a Servant ahead. Her performance has been dropping so she asks you to support her with command spells. If you can, something like using the NP immediately on the first turn would be much appreciated.
  90.
  91. -It's Gawain. Melt is surprised because he's not supposed to be part of the 128, but Gawain claims he Rayshifted along with you. Him, the Saber, Archer, and someone else. The three of them came along to guard you. But you're pretty sure you came along with Nero, Emiya and Tamamo. Gawain doesn't really know what went wrong, but he assures you he's a Servant from Chaldea and not summoned by SE.RA.PH, so he'll be guarding you no matter what. You thank Gawain and say you'll be counting on him.
  92.
  93. -Melt gets pretty angry about that. You explain the situation. Gawain thanks Melt for protecting you, but is suspicious as Alter-Egos have no reason to aid Chaldea. Melt has a reaction when she hears a red-cloaked man with two swords was one of the other Servants accompanying you. She blows it off as him just having a face that she'd like to cut up the moment she sees it when you ask. Melt says it's a good thing that you have extra combat potential, but inwardly thinks that she isn't in a position to be picky and that there won't be a second chance.
  94.
  95. -BB interrupts with a third BB Channel, appearing in front of you herself. Melt says she's breaking the rules, that a boss should behave like a boss and just wait and watch arrogantly from the deepest part of SE.RA.PH. BB says that rules have been bent here already since one Master should rightfully only have one Servant.
  96.
  97. -Gawain tells you to get behind him, thinking it's a good chance to take down the mastermind now that she's shown herself. BB summons Robin, telling him to show off his new animations. Gawain asks if this Robin is from Chaldea but he does not recognize you. Robin complains that he got called while eating, but is forced into battle with you anyway.
  98.
  99. -After the battle with BB, she proudly shows off the slot system. You complain that it's troublesome and BB offendedly replies that show business is tough and giving the exact same events every time would cause customers to leave. BB tells you that if you want to uncover the truth about SE.RA.PH, you have no choice but to fight the other 128 Servants. She asks Melt why she's siding with Chaldea, and Melt replies that she prioritizes her own pleasure over SE.RA.PH's rules.
  100.
  101. -BB talks a bit about Sentinels; they appear to be a form of the Walls of the Heart that appeared in CCC. They can't be defeated by normal Servants and she recommends you avoid battle with them. There are five of them, guarding each of the five parts of this SE.RA.PH.
  102.
  103. -Before BB forgets, she revives Robin. He shouts in pain, saying that the resurrection is more painful than getting killed in battle. He also complains why his level was only 30 in that fight. Apparently he's been working very hard to max his level. BB says she drained it. She then drops him through a traphole when he continues to complain.
  104.
  105. -And before BB bids you goodbye, she corrects something Da Vinci said. Rayshifting to the future is hard, but it's not impossible. But if she were to say why it is impossible, it'd be that Chaldea is unable to rayshift beyond the year 2017.
  106.
  107. (2/6)
  108.
  109. -After beating off some Servants, Gawain notes that those Servants seemed pretty nuts, but they were definitely normal Servants. Melt says that it shouldn't come as a surprise and the Servants are just engaging in what they desire; to battle, betray and slaughter. She gets into an argument with Gawain over humans being slaves to their libido, while Gawain takes the stance that though all humans have sexual desire, they are also bound by logic and reason.
  110.
  111. -Melt turns to you and asks if you are interested in her skills. If you are tired of everything, you can partake of her honey (poison) and have everything end after a bit of pain. She explains her skill, All-Drain, but adds that she can't use it fully at the moment since she's in somewhat poor condition. Melt feels a bit pathetic that she can't be of greater help even though she made that promise with you.
  112.
  113. -Gawain notes that the Servants you fought did not have any Masters. Melt says that they had Masters, just that they weren't around. Since they're all dead. For the most part the Servants summoned here don't know their Master's face. The only ones acting together with their Master would be Servants like Gawain who came from Chaldea.
  114.
  115. -You see something that looks like a Holy Grail, but what happens instead is that it shows you memories of one of the Seraphix staff.
  116. The troubles at the oil rig first began in January 2017. The boats at the dock were set on fire, the helicopter was destroyed, and all communication with the outside world was lost. Parts of the rig also began "disappearing".
  117.
  118. -By February only about 100 survivors were left, and have taken refuge in the central control room which was relatively safe from being vanished. They still held hope that they'd make it since food was in plentiful supply. Once Chaldea tries to establish contact in May, they should notice the situation and send help. That was Seraphix's one and only hope.
  119.
  120. -By March, the director of the rig was executed as a way of taking responsibility for not being able to foresee this situation. A committee took over to establish the rule of law and order amongst the survivors. Next, the vice-director was executed for being unable to resolve the situation. A woman was executed for dropping the key to the cleaning area. The doctors who were now useless because the medical supplies ran out were killed. Staff who went against Beckman were made sacrifices for the monsters outside. And the killings continued.
  121.
  122. -By April, they confirmed that 100 minutes here was equal to 1 minute in the outside world. From their perspective of time, rescue from Chaldea would arrive in about 50 years in the future. Most of Seraphix has been digitalized by now. Beckman is still trying and failing to keep things together under his tyranny. The man's last memories are of having his last smoke and hearing the horrible scrape of a metal hammer on the floor.
  123.
  124. (3/6)
  125.
  126. -You come to a branching point. The central control facility is at the Breast area, and the dock is at the Thigh. Melt says the most important part is at the Breast so you may find survivors at the central control room there.
  127. Gawain agrees that the breasts are most important, they are things that should grow freely and fully. He says there's nothing wrong with acknowledging the charm of a lady's breasts and it is a perfectly natural reaction for a man. Melt asks about hers, and Gawain just laughs and tells her to live strong.
  128.
  129. -Tristan appears with the usual talk of sadness. He does not recognize you though he knows you are a master. Tristan calls Melt a poisonous woman and takes a hostile stance immediately, asking you and Gawain to stay out of it. You refuse to abandon Melt. Surprising Tristan, Gawain is on Melt's side. She's been fighting together with him as your Servant so he now thinks of her as a ally.
  130. Melt finds an opening and brings Tristan down, mounting him. Tristan laments that though his harp can slice apart water, it cannot destroy a lake.If only he had enough heat to vaporize a lake, like with Gawain's holy sword. Saying that the timing is lost, Melt decides not to kill him and leaves Tristan's fate to you. Gawain recruits Tristan. This upsets Melt, since she really wanted to be your only Servant.
  131.
  132. -You give Tristan your name when he asks. He finds it familiar. He and Melt begin bickering, but Gawain reassures you saying this level of bickering is normal for the Round Table, it's like a pre-battle workout. Well, it's the first time Gawain has seen Tristan open his eyes in such a threatening manner but that's something else. Anyway he claims the Knights of the Round Table are reasonable people who'll get along well, at least until either one of them dies.
  133.
  134. -Moving on, you brief Tristan about the oil rig situation. He's been here for 10 days, and much to his shame he has wandered SE.RA.PH all that time battling other Servants as if he lost all reason, delighting in the shed blood of other heroes. Most of the Servants in Tristan's area were killed off by him. But there's one huge monster in this area that he warns you of, an Alter-Ego. He says she can be found in the passage leading to the central control room, the point called the Breast Valley. Melt tells you about that Alter-Ego, Passionlip.
  135.
  136. -When you reach Breast Valley you are tired out, and Melt teases you about getting digitized by SE.RA.PH, saying that she'd absolutely love to see your face when your brow twists in agony, your cheeks go red with exertion and you bite your lips with the fear of being melted away. Her sadistic disposition is emerging. Melt tells you to still your beating heart since you're in an emergency situation and there are two other bothersome people around.
  137.
  138. -An unknown woman comes running from the direction of the breast area. A survivor, it seems. She recognizes your uniform as being from Chaldea and pegs you as a rescuer. The woman introduces herself as Marble Macintosh, 28 years old, and a staff of Seraphix. Gawain calls her Madam but she insists on being called a Lady since she's yet unwed. Marble finds Gawain's smile very brilliant and asks his occupation, age and annual income. And most important of all, is he already married?
  139.
  140. -Gawain says that indeed in life he was bound, but that is no longer true now that he is a Servant. Though he will not forget his wife, as a Servant he will not turn his back on the freedom he has gained either. Melt calls him disgusting.
  141.
  142. -Marble notices Melt and begins panicking about the Alter-Ego, asking Gawain to destroy her as he's a Servant of Chaldea, isn't he? Before anyone from your side can respond, Passionlip arrives. Marble says she's a monster that has crushed all new 128 Servants.
  143. The first thing you notice are her big assets, which Gawain says are certainly a frightening enemy, something that he has not seen even in Britain. Lip can only go "Aaaa", in the meantime. Melt thinks to herself that Lip must be suffering under those bindings and wants to help her. She tells you that Lip is a Sentinel and needs to be defeated to continue your exploration of SE.RA.PH.
  144.
  145. -After the fight, Lip crushes the passage to the central control room into a cube with Trash and Crash. Melt says that Lip is the strongest Alter-Ego when it comes to destruction, and her only weakness is her mental immaturity, but that is not something you can attack at the moment since her mind is sealed. You have no choice but to retreat for now.
  146.
  147. (4/6)
  148.
  149. -You brief Marble on the situation and she panics because the rescue she hoped for isn't coming after all, since you are similarly trapped. Gawain asks her about the situation in the control room. There were still three others, one left to try and establish contact with Chaldea and did not return, one ODed on morphine, and she fought with the last one over the dwindling food supplies and ran off.
  150. You decide to move on to the next safe area, which would be the church. Tristan warns you that Lancer Vlad is there.
  151.
  152. (5/6)
  153.
  154. -The path to the church is lined with blood-stained pikes. Vlad himself has gone into full purge-the-immoral-heathens mode, and there's no reasoning with him. Well, if it's a Lancer, then Gawain says it's his turn. Vlad says not to look down on him as a mere spearman since his body has already been invaded by a demon god. You fight and defeat him, but Vlad refuses to explain what he meant. He says you should hurry to the church instead and that the Archer from Chaldea is there awaiting you.
  155.
  156. -Gawain wonders to himself why Archer doesn't just come out and help you then, since he must know his Master is just outside. Before disappearing, Vlad tells Gawain to hold on to his suspicions and not let his guard down around that man. This SE.RA.PH is a place like that, where even your allies may not be trusted.
  157.
  158. -Meanwhile Melt is looking forward to meeting the tanned archer with a red cloak and two swords. Marble says that she doesn't have good memories about that church, but there's no choice, Gawain says your body is already at its limits and needs rest.
  159.
  160. -Inside the church, Melt calls for Archer to show himself. He does, saying that you're late. It's Emiya Alter. Upon seeing him Melt immediately calls for a change. This isn't the Archer she wanted to see again. Emiya says that he is indeed a different person. It's due to BB's interference, and he can be called a replacement pinch hitter for the other guy, in other words.
  161.
  162. -You share your information with Emiya. Gawain says that he's never heard of Emiya Alter in Chaldea. Emiya says that this is just business and he has no intentions of being friends. At any rate Melt tells you that you need your rest. About 6 hours of sleep before you continue your exploration.
  163.
  164. -Emiya informs you that at the back of the altar there's a terminal that is under a heavy lock, which seems to contain a staff report. But before that you should rest. Marble is afraid of Melt's presence. Melt says that she can rest just fine outside since she won't be dissembled by SE.RA.PH. You say that Melt can stay here with you, but she says it's fine and that she'll be back in 6 hours to wake you up and continue exploration of SE.RA.PH.
  165.
  166. -You notice something off with the wall at the back of the church. There's some wreckage there. Melt says it's probably that black archer rampaging about and to think nothing of it. She asks you to go up to the 2nd floor and rest.
  167.
  168. -And once you are gone, she talks to herself, saying that it's so much like you to notice something even while not knowing anything: "Yeah... Thank you, my Master. For noticing, just a little, at the final moments of this girl no one knew."
  169.
  170. (6/6)
  171.
  172. -You finally gather enough money to buy the unlock for the terminal. Everyone is complaining about the cut-throat prices that BB charged.
  173.
  174. -The report you uncover is from the therapist charged with the mental care of the Seraphix staff, who was stationed at the church. Again he details the oil rig's descent into madness, this time from his perspective.
  175.
  176. -Emiya says it's not a surprise that cults, violence and purges became a thing within an organization isolated in this manner. Anyway, you'll have to continue exploring SE.RA.PH, unlocking new routes and finally making your way to the control room. There you may be able to contact Chaldea and escape.
  177.
  178. -You ask Melt what she'll do then. She says that she's an Alter-Ego, so she's sure she can't go anywhere. She tells you to please escape when you can. If it's for that reason then she can fight. Contracting with you was her salvation and being your Servant is enough for her. She's already received her reward. So she asks you not to be sad, because that will dull her claws. As long as you are smiling, there is no lake that she cannot leap. For that reason, she'll carve open a path for you.
  179.
  180. =====================================================================================
  181. Before we begin Chapter 2, a part that I really should've detailed in the last post but missed because I was in a hurry, regarding the therapist's report you unlocked in Chapter 1 (6/6):
  182.
  183. During his report, the therapist repeats a rant that he heard:
  184. ???: "I'll kill them all. Kill them. The lower class, the vile working class, they dare! The element in the observatory. Using that I'll be able to slaughter them all. This was originally such a facility in the first place. I will use that function effectively. I will not let the beasts that hurt you roam free. Incompetents. Incompetents. Pests that are even lower than beasts! Very well, if they wish for hell, then I will summon for them a true hell!"
  185.
  186. The therapist warns that no one must enter the observatory, that the observatory's experiment must never resume.
  187.

  189.
  190. Chapter 2: The Sliding Coppelia (1/5)
  191.
  192. -You arrive at a new area. Before it became SE.RA.PH, this place was where maintenance and operation took place for the manipulator. The manipulator arm was used to investigate the ocean floor back when Seraphix was still an oil platform.
  193.
  194. -BB hacks in again, and asks if you've used up your AP today or used any bronze apples to help. Use when it should be used, spend when it should be spent. Go full throttle for the sake of the "now" and don't give a thought for the consequences. This is the proof of the consumption society and competitiveness that humans love so much.
  195.
  196. -The BB Channel begins, and Melt says that BB is probably just going to add some troublesome rules again. BB is troubled by Melt being in her rebellious phase, but praises her ability to grasp what's going on quickly. In the first place Melt has the highest intelligence amongst the Sakura Five, so that's why she is so antagonistic towards humans.
  197.
  198. -Melt doesn't deny what BB says, that she is not an ally to humans. But she moves for her own reasons and is disgusted by BB's methods, so she's no ally of hers either. BB wonders if the reason why Lip is so obedient and Melt so rebellious is because of her flat chest. Melt angrily retorts that it's not about the chest size and that if BB keeps prodding there she'll kill you first before killing BB.
  199. BB says that certainly it would be the greatest pain to her, to have the toy she went to such lengths to obtain wrecked. But if that happened, her tolerance would go to zero and she would wipe SE.RA.PH. and everyone out. For BB it's as easy as turning the power off; some Servants might survive, but you wouldn't. You're 4000 meters under the sea, if SE.RA.PH vanishes then any human would die instantly.
  200.
  201. -You ask if she means the observatory mentioned by the therapist's records. BB says that was supposed to be spoilers for the next channel, but if you already know about it then it saves her the trouble of explaining.
  202.
  203. -Anyway, BB's here to introduce the new goods rather than talk about this. There are new items, gate keys for each area, and she'll also throw in a new Sentinel into the bargain. It's Tamamo Cat. Gawain is surprised that the Caster that came with him is now on BB's side. Melt asks if that is also your Servant. It seems that the class is different, but is it the same? You don't seem sure yourself, and in fact can only apologize for Tamamo Cat's existence.
  204.
  205. -Tamamo Cat says that when she came to she was an abandoned cat in SE.RA.PH, picked up by BB who put a Collar of Absolute Obedience on her, so now she's just a cat that only runs about to repay her owner. BB is a bit concerned why Tamamo Cat is still chattering away even after being bound by the same geas as Lip, but, well, the cat is a strong Servant after all. It's meal time now, so she sics Cat on you.
  206.
  207. =After the battle, Tamamo Cat complains to BB that your team is strong and that a single Servant gauge won't be enough to handle it. BB asks if Cat has properly used her KP.
  208. Cat: ".............K.........P..........?"
  209.
  210. -BB is quite upset at Cat's dumbness, and laments that if only the Robin Robotization Plan made it in time she wouldn't have to witness such a blunder. Cat then promptly goes and falls through the traphole that BB had set up.
  211.
  212. -BB is about to run off, but Melt stops her. She asks BB about what Marble said, regarding Lip crushing 128 "new" Servants. BB says that of course new Servants have been summoned. Lip crushed them all though. Right now there are about 30 Servants left in SE.RA.PH, and isn't that just boring? A safe SE.RA.PH is meaningless. She'll summon more and more Servants, and they'll fight more and more. Otherwise it would not be a recreation of the Time Temple. What this SE.RA.PH wants is tens of thousands of Heroic Spirits.
  213.
  214. -Gawain is surprised that B.B. knows about that battle. It is a record of an event that occurred beyond the universe, but BB has her ways. She says she is just a game master, and that what ties the law of causality together is always the karma of the audience. Well, that's about it for Q&A time, and BB disappears, saying that you have one hour of real time left before SE.RA.PH sinks fully.
  215.
  216. -You wonder if this is really just a simple singularity. Gawain apologizes, saying that if we had Merlin's Clairvoyance it would be possible to see through to the truth, but the only thing you can see at the moment is the scenery ahead of you. But rather than that, you're more concerned with getting the Cat back first. Gawain smiles and is thankful to have you as his Master. You continue with the exploration of SE.RA.PH.
  217.
  218. (2/5)
  219.
  220. -You've ventured quite deep into SE.RA.PH, and come across another of those stray memories of the Seraphix staff. This time it's someone who says he's different from those stodgy scholars, someone who smiled inwardly when Seraphix began encountering its problems. His work is that of eliminating those that get in the way, those that leak secrets, and inspecting the shipments that come from the outside. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. He did not trust anyone. He thought the weak were there to be ruled and exploited.
  221.
  222. -This time, too, he figured he could survive easily. An organization without its leader is easily disrupted. First a struggle would arise due to class consciousness, and factions would form. Discrimination would occur under the premises of vested interests. Then, after several people are dead, it would be his turn. He was not someone who could stand at a top. He had a bad face, a bad personality, and no charisma to speak of. That's why he'd do his work under someone who was blessed with good traits for all three. Imaginative violence. His weapon was his ferocity and his inability to feel the pain of his opponent.
  223.
  224. -As he expected, Beckman gathered together an organization, laid down laws, and chose him as the enforcer. This is exactly the world that he wished for, where he could fulfil his desire to rule. Killing good people. Killing those he didn't like. Making others into bait for monsters for no reason at all. He was evil, and he enjoyed this world.
  225.
  226. -But why - the man wondered, the scenery of the church appearing briefly - did it become such a thing.
  227.
  228. -There was a time where his heart was pleasant, where he knew of ways to engage with others besides dominating them. He knew love. He never imagined a man such as he could ever be given love. There was salvation in this world, so...
  229.
  230. -For that person's sake, he would do anything. Not the petty crimes that he had committed so far. Anything. He was scared of nothing; even if the entire United States became his enemy he would not be afraid. He was invincible.
  231.
  232. -But there was only one thing that he feared. One thing that he was afraid of. Fear. He was frightened right now, gripped with a fear ten times worse than the fear of death. He was frightened of being despised, being hated, and being abandoned by that person. He was afraid that he would return to being the rat-like thug that he was, something that was even lower than human.
  233.
  234. -He once knew love. A merciful love that could change the world opened his eyes. And in that case, if he were to lose that love... even if the world were to come to ruin, he would not care.
  235.
  236. -The memories end there. Gawain says that he does not know what you saw, but just now it was as if he heard a cry for help. Akin to a sinner seeking forgiveness from God at the precipice of death. Melt says that a sinner will be a sinner, no matter how you try to sanctify it. Even with repentance, the crime that has been committed does not change. Forgiveness can't be obtained by just rectifying your misdeeds, as you need to go even further than that to compensate.
  237.
  238. -Melt thinks that sin is eternal. No matter what happens, a villain is still a villain, and says that Gawain should remember it too. She points out that though he acted justly, in the end he was still imprisoned by his responsibilities. Gawain is surprised she knows of it and thanks her for her concern, but it is misplaced. He is already satisfied with himself. After all, doing what they want to do is how humans are.
  239.
  240. -Melt goes tsun, saying that it's not like she was concerned or anything. Anyway, if humans find it easier to be honest about both the laws of society and the emotions of people, then they should do as they please. Melt says that's one of the strengths of humans after all.
  241.
  242. (3/5)
  243.
  244. -You reach the end of the area, and Melt asks you again if you're really planning on recruiting Cat. Emiya Alter says that those that can't be handled can't be considered comrades. When asked why he came along this time, he says that he heard you were going to fight a Sentinel and decided to come and gauge their strength. Gawain says it's a good thing since the available strategies are broadened, though an Archer corps is bad for him.
  245.
  246. -He changes the topic and asks Melt about Sentinels, as he'd always thought that Sentinels = Alter-Egos. Melt says that Sentinels are a retro-fit class and that anyone can become one as long as their Saint Graph can endure the Karma Phages. Emiya asks if phages refer to viral phages. In a sense the Servants become "infected" with tremendous power. Emiya also surprisingly knows about how Alter-Egos are created; avatars created from BB's emotions and combined with the essences of multiple goddesses.
  247.
  248. -Melt admits it and names the five emotions that BB cut away to form into Alter-Egos. She explains that as the Alter-Ego of Pleasure, her purpose was to give the highest pleasure to her subject. Now, however, she is different, less driven by emotion, and able to choose her target as she wishes. The Alter-Egos came to face their emotions. Although they cannot be human, they could try to understand human feelings. As long as there was one human who would say that it was fine for them to remain as Alter-Egos, they would be okay staying monsters. Emiya asks if she did find that one person, and Melt says yes. Everywhere she knows of. Shallow humans were surprisingly thoughtful when it came down to it.
  249.
  250. -When you find Cat, she's worried if she's spoiling the serious mood. You say you're here to help her and she's extremely happy and will show her gratitude later, but first you must fight, as Cat still wants to repay BB for food and lodging.
  251.
  252. -Upon beating her, Tamamo Cat is about ready to join you when Emiya guns her down. He says it's only natural to kill an enemy Servant and that as BB said, every other Servant in this SE.RA.PH is ultimately an enemy. Gawain seems to disapprove and says that Tamamo Cat is a Servant belonging to Chaldea, but upon thinking of her eccentricities he reconsiders and says that she is a Servant on BB's side after all. Tamamo Cat protests, saying that she was just doing it for survival, receiving BB's KP for a super strengthening and biding her time until she could reunite with her Master.
  253.
  254. -Cat seems surprised herself that she's not dead. She asks Detroit Emiya, or Demiya for short, why. Melt gloats quietly that Cat is putting Emiya on the spot with that question. Emiya explains that he's an expert at observing magic circuits, and that part of Cat's Saint Graph was cloudy. He identified that as KP and shot at it, and that's because he just happened to know of similar symptoms.
  255. Anyway, with this Cat has cut ties with BB and will now aid you. You welcome her back. All's well that ends well, and Gawain states that the exploration of this area has come to an end. You make your way back to the church to treat Cat's wounds.
  256.
  257. (4/5)
  258.
  259. -Marble and Tristan welcome you back at the church, and Cat introduces herself. Gawain conducts a meeting almost immediately, saying that although you've explored SE.RA.PH, the important breast area remains untouched. There is no path there, thanks to Lip crushing it.
  260. Gawain asks Marble to confirm some things; right now you know of the main gate, the cable area, the dock area, the manipulator operations area, and the separator area. Since SE.RA.PH was originally Seraphix, he asks if there are any other facilities. She lists out some other places like the geological survey room and the garbage room, before realizing that some places are indeed missing from SE.RA.PH at the moment.
  261.
  262. -It is as Gawain expected, and he asks Melt if there's anything she's hiding. Melt says that this SE.RA.PH is a double-layered construction. There's an up and a down, a near side and a far side, a front and a back. Melt was originally a Sentinel for the back side, scheduled for disposal after going against BB's policies.
  263.
  264. -Emiya asks how you would get there. Melt replies that it is not possible for humans and Servants to cross the boundary between the near and the far side, but Sentinels like her would be able to move about freely. If you want to cross over to the far side, you would have to flip over SE.RA.PH itself. She will let you think for yourselves how to make that happen, as it is impossible for her.
  265. At that point, Cat wakes up and says she has a plan, in her typical Tamamo Cat way. In short, why is mochi delicious to eat, it's grilled when it's burnt on the far side, if it will not turn around then turn it, attack the weak point, good fortune will come to those who laugh, Links Links Revolution.
  266.
  267. -Tristan is amazed by her beautiful poetry and asks if she is not Murasaki Shikibu.
  268.
  269. -You understand what Cat is getting at, so Gawain says he'll leave it to you. What you need to do now is to cross over to the far side, get into position at the same coordinates as the central control room there, and then cross back to the near side to access the breast area. But when that happens you'll still have to confront Lip, so Melt asks you what you would do.
  270.
  271. -Tristan says that Lip is invincible and that he doesn't think she can be reasoned with like Melt could. Marble is still deathly scared of Alter-Egos, to her it's like looking at a bomb right in front of her eyes. Emiya agrees, but says that you aren't scared, and asks why.
  272.
  273. -You respond that it's because Lip is Melt's comrade, and that she must be suffering too. Melt chides you for being too much of a good person, though she adds some words to support you. She states that Lip is being controlled by her bindings and should you remove them, she will definitely help you. Melt says that Lip is different from her, a honest girl who will definitely repay those who come to her aid.
  274.
  275. -Emiya says she has no proof of that, but Melt states that there are already two Servants here who joined up after being defeated. Emiya doesn't buy that, as he thinks that Chaldea's Servants and SE.RA.PH's Servants are different. Regardless, the plan will proceed and you should get some rest. Before you do, however, Gawain expresses his gratitude once more. It's for making him acknowledge yet again his training is insufficient. He will assist you to free Passionlip with all his might, and then listen to her words.
  276.
  277. -Later that night, Melt apologizes for not only being unable to become your strength, but also hiding things from you. She isn't feeling confident at all. Though she is an Alter-Ego, she is still something that was discarded. It's not possible for her to fight 128 Servants; just fighting one has left her in shambles like this.
  278.
  279. -Blushing, she says it's not that she's not confident in her combat capabilities, but it is the unease of not knowing whether she is able to protect you, if she is able to meet your expectations. She doesn't want to be hated by you, because the only thing she can offer you is her combat performance... Blushing even more fiercely, she suddenly takes back everything she just said. There's no such thing, because she's a perfect Alter-Ego.
  280.
  281. -It is true that the sensation in her hands is dull and she's not good at fine work, but besides that all her parameters are top class even amongst Alter-Egos. But if her power returns, if she returns to her original self, she would not be able to help you out like this. She doesn't understand it herself - does she want to return to her original self, or does she want to stay like this? But SE.RA.PH will not wait, and she has to help you escape quickly.
  282.
  283. -Melt: "Defeat all of the Servants, defeat BB, and then I will be able to control SE.RA.PH. ...So, until that time comes, could you please stay by my side, Master?"
  284.
  285. -Meanwhile, Emiya is outside by himself. He's amazed that you've stayed alive till now with such a pacifist mindset. He doesn't think much of the goal to explore SE.RA.PH and uncover the truth behind Seraphix's anomalies. BB's proposal is quite attractive to him - it strikes just the right note with his desires.
  286.
  287. -The Moon Cell is an infinite Holy Grail. In this spiritron world it is even possible to tamper with the past. Such an opportunity will not come around again, and it is something that would be irresistible to many Heroic Spirits. Of course, himself included.
  288.
  289. (5/5)
  290.
  291. -Tristan and Marble stay behind in the church while you head off to tickle SE.RA.PH. Both Gawain and Emiya express slight doubts as to the method, but Emiya says that it would be just like BB to do such a thing. You proceed with the tickling. Your soft touch makes Cat call you a gentleman, but it is a touch that causes a rough wave to rise, an impact akin to that of a Berserker's punch.
  292.
  293. -The floor begins to tremble. BB calls out for you to please be more gentle. If you don't, you'll affect the whole body. She starts sulking that she's getting this treatment even though she sold you the item with good intentions. If you're going to behave like this then she isn't going to let you go to the far side, not before giving the bad senpai a bit of a punishment.
  294.
  295. -She calls out a Sentinel, or to be more exact, a Black Idol.
  296.
  297. -Liz wonders why she's all black and asks if she's now Eliza Alter to follow the trends. She calls out for the lighting staff to buck up and make sure the backlights are shining properly.
  298.
  299. -BB says that she threw this Sentinel together in a hurry so it's disappointing in many ways. Well, Liz has appeared too many times so it's fine if she appears like this this time around. BB warns you that though she looks like that, the destructive power of her voice is the real deal. As accompaniment for the end of the first half, you should enjoy this fitting concert of hell.
  300.
  301. -Liz shouts out "I'll be back!" as she disappears, after you beat her. BB says that you'll surely meet Liz in another event someday, so it's fine. Since you worked hard this time, this is about as much as BB will interfere.
  302.
  303. -Just before she's about to allow you to continue to the far side, however, Lip appears and attacks. BB is surprised, as she had not issued such an order. Melt tells you to hurry and keep tickling harder to get SE.RA.PH to turn over, if Lip gets you in her sights you're done for.
  304.
  305. -Gawain goes off to fight Lip off alone, with Cat shouting that he can't beat a Sentinel by himself. There are even times when the sun sets, so she tells him to return or escape. Emiya shouts that you won't make it in time and fires a few shots. The world begins revolving around you alone, as SE.RA.PH flips over. This is the entrance to the far side.
  306.
  307. -Gawain is still holding Lip off, and Cat shouts for him as everything goes white.
  308.
  309. =========================================================================================
  310.
  311. Chapter 3: Nuts Cracker One More Time (1/3)
  312.
  313. -You've successfully arrived at the backside of SE.RA.PH, though at the cost of leaving Gawain behind.Emiya praises Gawain for his reckless gambit, saying that although Lip can grasp things that are far away and slow-moving, she will find it hard to deal with things that are near and move fast. He says it's great that you managed to arrive on the far side by sacrificing Gawain alone, but both you and Cat are sure he'll be fine. Cat says that Gawain is a uselessly sturdy steel knight, and that in the face of giant tits his Guts will activate.
  314.
  315. -Suzuka is the Sentinel that welcomes you on the far side. She didn't expect you'd leap into her territory of your own free will. Referring to you as a monkey, she asks for your name. Suzuka finds your name amusing, and it strikes her fancy. She'll carefully hunt you down.
  316.
  317. -Melt teases you again asking if you'd like to contract with Suzuka instead, saying that although with how bestial Suzuka is, she might be the sort of man-eater who thinks love = appetite. Suzuka notices then that your menagerie has increased. Besides that squalid sourpuss of a man who falls far outside her strike zone, there's also another one...
  318.
  319. -Cat calls Suzuka a fake fox, causing Suzuka to retort that she's the one that's a fake. Suzuka seems to be confused and pissed off at Cat's strange combination of traits. A miko? Fox ears? And also a cat? And a good housewife? Melt is dubious about the housewife part, but you confirm that Cat has very good household skills. Melt blushes: "I, I see... That means household skills are also important to you..."
  320.
  321. -Suzuka still doesn't understand just what Cat is, and challenges her to reveal her name before battle. Cat says that the fake fox seems to have some relation to Tamamo no Mae. She then introduces herself as the Tamamo of Justice, one of the Tamamo Nine that divided from Tamamo no Mae, an intellectual-type heroine who can perform household chores skillfully even with paws, the white-aproned Tamamo Cat that follows her master through the myriad realms, woof.
  322.
  323. -Suzuka is left wordless. Melt comments that she can't keep up her JK mode in front of Cat's innocence, and Suzuka denies it, saying that she was a JK Servant from birth. Cat says that's impossible, and even a cat would know it. Suzuka has had enough and swears she'll kill the catfox. Though she was asked to guide you by BB, you're the one picking a fight with her. Now it's time to find out who's the true fox miko.
  324.
  325. -As the fight goes on, Suzuka gets more and more excited. She reveals that she was scouted for the job because she kept winning her fights. Although she doesn't know her Master's face, surely their wish would be to win the Holy Grail War, and to fulfil that wish would be the mark of a first-class Servant. She doesn't care about BB's ambition, only to be the last one standing from the 128 Servants.
  326.
  327. -Suzuka is interrupted by her phone ringing. It's BB calling. She tells BB that she's with the Chaldea people, as directed, but it seems that BB is ordering her to return to the temple and not to fight with you. Suzuka doesn't get it. She thought their common goal was to defeat all the Servants, but why is she being ordered to let just your team off? It seems that BB tells her that the order is important and that Chaldea's Servants don't count.
  328.
  329. -With that, Suzuka lets you go. Before she leaves, she points you in the direction you should be headed if you want to get back to the control room on the near side. Though before that she recommends you take a look around here, as the facilities here are different. As she said before, BB isn't the sole reason Seraphics became like this. This is what humans brought upon themselves, their karma, so to speak, and this oil rig isn't just a normal oil rig.
  330.
  331. -Emiya notes that all of the facilities in this area have been converted into SE.RA.PH, and so it's hard to figure out what they originally were. According to his investigations, the facilities required for the oil rig were mostly accounted for on the near side.
  332. Cat is more in favour of returning to the near side immediately rather than exploring further, as you need to go help Gawain out. Emiya tells her not to say stupid things, as it'd waste too much time. Rather, you should go close to the chest area. then flip SE.RA.PH again to get back to the near side. That'll put you at the central control room. Melt agrees with Emiya, so that's what you'll do. The quicker you get there, the faster you'll reunite with Gawain.
  333.
  334. (2/3)
  335.
  336. -You come to the other side of the main gate that was on the near side. Melt says it is only for special personnel, namely magi. Emiya speculates that the only one who could grant permission to use this gate would be the owner of the facility, so basically the users would be staff directly under Animusphere.
  337.
  338. -Cat picks up a warning that keeps announcing "Present your pass. Present your pass. If you do not comply within 5 seconds, you will be shot till dead" and tells you about it. Cat laughs and makes a joke about how getting shot at like that would be a "Don't, please!" situation, and you are then promptly attacked by security bugs.
  339.
  340. -It seems that those bugs are left over security systems from when this place was still Seraphix. You are about to continue dismantling the security and proceed with your exploration when Robin appears, saying there is no need for that. He's here with a message from BB, basically saying that Lip will be waiting for you on the near side, that you cannot win against her by fighting normally, and that you should proceed to BB-chan's military gate to get some sort of secret weapon that can destroy the "Shackles of the Heart". By using that you may able to remove Lip's bindings. Emiya says you'll probably need to pay in the form of Sakurament again, and asks what you get this time for defeating Lip. He doesn't see the benefit in going out of your way just to fight that monster.
  341.
  342. -You say that you will free Lip from her restraints, and Melt teasingly wonders if you can actually do it. She warns you not to underestimate Alter-Egos. Robin says that Lip is a Sentinel, and Sentinels restrict movement throughout SE.RA.PH. Sooner or later you will have to fight her anyway. Robin says just let him know when you're prepared to fight Lip, and he'll guide you over to the near side.
  343.
  344. (3/3)
  345.
  346. -You set off to fight Lip, and flip over to the near side. However, Emiya is left behind, and he makes a sarcastic comment about the item having a limit on the people it can transport. BB is impressed that he got snarky so quickly. She's here to recruit him, asking him to betray Chaldea. All he needs to do is to kill the remaining humans left inside SE.RA.PH and capture you. In return, he will know the truth about this oil base; that is his original job as a Counter Guardian. Emiya replies that it's a good suggestion, since he's getting frustrated looking after a bunch of goody-two-shoes anyway.
  347.
  348. -Back on the near side, you find yourself under attack immediately. Robin complains to BB, who says that there's been some problems but this degree of change to the difficulty is still within expectations. Saying that she believes in you, BB asks you to clean up the aggressive programs first, and to release Lip only later. There's no choice, Robin'll have to do some overtime work now. He says he'll show you the results of his training after BB harassed him with level drain.
  349.
  350. -Afterwards, you comment about Robin's level still being awfully low. He retorts saying that he really did his best with the short time that he had. As for what comes next, BB says that you'll be going inside Lip, eliciting a "What's!?" from Cat. BB claims it's a proud CCC tradition, a battle occurring within the heart - in other words, the Otome-Coaster.
  351.
  352. -Melt realizes that the Code Cast you bought - the secret weapon Robin mentioned - was that thing after all. She asks if BB can pull it off - the analysis of the human spirit apparently can't be done by non-humans. BB says that it wouldn't be possible for her against normal people, but it's doable if the target is a Servant that has been invaded by KP.
  353.
  354. -And so to get that done, you have to place your hand on Lip's chest. That would be a bit hard at the moment. You'll need to restrain Lip first. Both Robin and Melt say it's impossible for them. Melt adds that to hold Lip down you'd need a Servant with EX rank in Strength. Just then, Gawain appears to offer his help, injured but still very much alive.
  355.
  356. -Gawain'll stop Lip, you just do what you need to do. Although he looks heavily injured, and Robin says that he isn't obligated to put himself on the line again. But Gawain is steadfast. This isn't about obligations or repayment: "That lady has a pure heart. To volunteer one's own body for the sake of a maiden's tears is the cherished wish of any knight. Furthermore, if it is a battle not to defeat, but to save, I have no hesitation to pour all my soul into the fight!"
  357.
  358. -So saying, he gets behind Lip and restrains her. Gawain tells you to hurry as even he cannot do this for long. You quickly plunge your hand into her chest, and BB begins the procedure to transport you into Lip's mental space.
  359.
  360. -After succeeding in the battle with Lip, she faints and Cat catches her. Gawain congratulates you on a well-fought battle. He doesn't know what kind of fight happened in that instant you were inside Lip, but you have successfully freed her. He collapses too.
  361.
  362. -Melt seems touched that he'd put his own life on the line to help Lip, but Gawain springs up immediately as good as new. He's embarrassed that he got dizzy from this level of exertion. He volunteers to look after Lady Lip, as the poor girl must have been fighting ceaselessly all this time. Robin mutters that Gawain is way too tough, physically and mentally.
  363.
  364. -Cat brings Lip back to the church, while you move on to investigate the control room. Robin has disappeared without a word. The moment you get there you are immediately greeted by a demon pillar, leaving you speechless.
  365.
  366. -Upon disposing of it, a man begins clapping and praising your victory. He thanks you for coming to save him, as he has been stuck here hiding in the control room ever since the demon pillar manifested. He praises you as a messiah, a hero, and then recognizes your uniform as that of Chaldea. It seems that this man was the one who sent out the SOS.
  367.
  368. -The man introduces himself as Arnold, secretary to the Director of Seraphix and just a staff member who does oddjobs here and there. After he finds out that you're the only one sent to help, he complains about your slow progress. Gawain stops Arnold and declares that his evaluation of you is wrong, as your actions are not wasteful, but filled with courage and bravery. Arnold apologizes to you.
  369.
  370. -Melt asks how many staff are left alive. Upon noticing her, Arnold panics similarly to Marble over an Alter-Ego's presence. You reassure him that Melt is your ally. Arnold calms down and says that before this he'd considered how to get an Alter-Ego under control, like the clawed Ego was. He then answeres Melt's question. Besides him, the other survivors are a cowardly female staff that was unable to bear the fear and ran off despite his attempts to stop her, and the other one is in a locker in the control room, comatose after ODing on drugs. You tell Arnold that you saved Marble. He doesn't seem to remember her name well, but is amazed that she survived outside.
  371.
  372. -Meanwhile, Gawain wants to continue investigations by going through Seraphix's records to search for routes to other areas, particularly the observatory. Arnold panics and says that outsiders can't look at the records. He also says that there's no such thing as the observatory because he hasn't heard of it before. The records for Seraphix can only be perused by people granted permission by Chaldea's director, the head of the Animusphere family. Even if you are a rescue team from Chaldea, you have no such right. Who's going to take responsibility if he is questioned later? Gawain responds that it is not part of your jurisdiction, as the mission entrusted to you was to investigate and resolve this incident, not to assure Arnold of his continued employment.
  373.
  374. -Melt says it's useless, the data here has been erased as well, and she thinks it was deleted by this human at that time. It was probably gone before you arrived, and you'll have to scout out a route to the observatory by yourself. She pauses as she finds something new, wondering just what it is as it wasn't here last time.
  375.
  376. -You ask her what she meant by "last time", but she just goes red and tells you not to mind it. At any rate, the pass code she just found is an identification pass for the church's diary. Gawain is confused as to why it's here in the control room instead of the church. Arnold explains that it might be because the staff from the church made trips here as part of therapy, back when the survivors were gathered at the control room. He did not think it necessary, but there were many pious people amongst the staff.
  377.
  378. -Still, some people got angry that God was not doing anything about the situation, and it seems that a mob formed and lynched the staff from the church. The pass was conveniently left behind here. Arnold claims that he had no choice but to wait for the group hysteria to subside.
  379.
  380. -You ask him about the demon pillar, but he has no idea what that is, asking in return if it's the name of the monster. He calls it the last nightmare, something that rose from the floor and killed those that killed the doctors, but it did not act in any particular manner besides that. It was creepy, but it would do nothing if you did not go near it. Arnold had no choice but to live with it if he was going to stay in the control room.
  381.
  382. -Gawain notes that it was as if the demon pillar you fought had no soul, despite having its form and powers. Anyway, there's nothing left for you to do in the control room at the moment, so you decide to return to the church, bringing Arnold along. He says he's unable to fight and will leave battle to you, and once more introduces himself as Arnold. Arnold Beckman.
  383.
  384. -Back at the church, you are greeted by Marble, who exclaims that Arnold is still alive. On Arnold's part, he barely manages to remember Marble's name and says that he was worried for her. Marble thinks to herself that Arnold is the type who will only remember the names of people who rank above him.
  385.
  386. -Tristan says that they've heard the details from Tamamo Cat. He regrets not being able to see Gawain's dashing performance, acting for the sake of a young girl with a full bosom. Gawain laughs saying that Tristan seems jealous that he was unable to have his turn, and that they can talk about this later at the back of the church.
  387.
  388. -Emiya has also made his way back here. Melt mocks him for getting lost on the far side and crawling back here without any achievements, but Emiya shrugs it off, saying that this church is currently the most suitable place for survival.
  389.
  390. -Cat then brings Lip out to welcome you back. Lip introduces herself, saying that she was unsure whether it would trouble you that she did so, since she had been attacking you one-sidedly just before. You're fine with it. Gawain and Cat already seem charmed by Lip, with Cat saying that BB & Melt really should rethink themselves.
  391.
  392. -Melt tells Lip that you never thought of her as an enemy from the start, but as a lone girl whose heart was being hurt by the binding. Lip is surprised, as she is an Alter-Ego after all, with those large claws. You say that certainly, there are quite a few big things as far as she's concerned. Melt warns you not to fall for, or into her. Lip's chest has the function of a dumpster; if you get too charmed and touch it carelessly you won't come back.
  393.
  394. -Lip pouts, saying that it won't happen. She's been training properly so that even if someone falls in, they can be retrieved. Cat says that it's just as she told Lip, you wouldn't care about something as trivial as those claws. That's because Chaldea has far more scarier things. Not physically, but mentally. This makes Lip think Chaldea is a pretty amazing place. After gathering up her courage, she asks to be allowed to fight alongside you. Of course, you grant her request.
  395.
  396. -Next, she offers her thanks to Gawain. While she was bound, she heard his voice. She thanks him for properly treating her and Melt as girls. Gawain seems puzzled at this stroke of unforeseen luck, and asks you what she means by that. It's probably his words about fighting for the tears of a maiden. Gawain says that there is nothing to thank him for if that's the case, as this is merely his path of chivalry. Her smile is more than enough reward; as befitting her name, it is like a pure flower blooming in the wilds.
  397.
  398. -Next, they discuss whether each of them are willing to accept Lip as a comrade. Cat is of course happy to do so. Tristan still doesn't trust Alter-Egos but is willing to fight alongside them. Emiya says that the Egos are your comrades, not his. He's just using this church as a place to exchange information, and has no interest in being buddies. Marble is a little ambivalent about having another Alter-Ego around, but she does think Lip is a cute and honest girl. She wonders to herself if the Alter-Egos aren't actually good girls that can be understood as long as you communicate with them. If that's the case, Arnold, who attacked them as an enemy, had failed.
  399.
  400. -Arnold, on the other hand, has nothing against it. You are the leader of this party and whatever you say goes. But he's very tired at the moment and wants to take a rest. Marble leads him to the rooms on the second floor. Tristan recommends that Gawain rest too. Though Servants do not need sleep, his exhaustion is clear to the eye. He says that he can take over Gawain's duties of guarding you if need be. Gawain says there's no need for that, as as long as he is a Saber of Chaldea, he is your blade. He will take his rest, but that can wait till after you view the church diary using the passcode from the control room.
  401.
  402. -It's the continuation of the diary that even Melt did not know about. She has a bad feeling about it, but you're going to do it anyway.
  403.
  404. -The recorder of the diary says that they are recording this through a method unknown even to them. They introduce themselves as Zepar, one of the 72 demon god pillars, before denying it. It looks like Zepar is taking over them, as they now don't even remember their own name.
  405.
  406. -According to the recorder, Seraphix is a facility built for the purpose of a certain experiment. It did function as a oil rig, but it also concealed a mage's workshop within. This was to hide its true purpose from the other Lords, and also because the experimental criteria was that it needed to be performed at the ocean floor. Right now the recorder finds themselves no longer able to measure good and evil, or to gauge the value of human life. So they will only leave behind the facts, such as they are.
  407.
  408. -It seems they have been doing magical experiments on human subjects here that may involve Rayshifting, discarding those who have been damaged callously. The recorder does not know whether or not what Animusphere did was good or evil, and they will leave it up to the listener to judge. Right now, they would like to demonstrate the possibility that the digitized Seraphix can be returned to its original state.
  409.
  410. -One day, Zepar spoke to the recorder in the church, calling them chosen by God. Zepar introduced itself as one of the 72 demon gods and said that they were defeated by humans. It now understands that the intellectual activity of humans can generate great energy, and it wants to expand on that possibility. It would like to use the poorer specimens of humanity in a more effective manner. But at the moment it has no body; defeat has robbed it of physical form. That is why, it is sorry, but it will be using the recorder's body from now on.
  411.
  412. -The recorder is understandably unhappy about this, but Zepar assures them that their consciousness won't be immediately erased. It says that once the survival of the demon pillars is proven, there will surely be someone who will come to dispose of them. It is injured and needs to recuperate. It needs time to create the world where it can gather strength.
  413.
  414. -Zepar plans to use the recorder's personality and pretend to be them in order to take over this facility, aiming to be reborn as a demon god. Once it succeeds, the recorder will be free. It says it's different from humans, in that it will reward their pain. When it is reborn, the recorder alone will have their life spared. Until then, they are one. Zepar threatens the recorder, saying to hide its existence if they don't want to die.
  415.
  416. -And after that, the facility became a hell. The recorder is filled with regret and sorrow, and at the end of it all they want to make a last strike against that devil which possessed them. They hope this recording can be that strike.
  417.
  418. -If the digitization of Seraphix becomes complete, the next step would be that of "connection". To escape Chaldea's eyes, this facility will Rayshift to 2030 and from there, sink into the Mariana Trench. When it reaches the bottom of the trench, Zepar will be reborn.
  419. The recorder says that they are finally all used up. When BB was summoned as the new ruler, it meant they would be erased soon. There is barely any of their consciousness left, but they beg the listener to believe that the owner of this body tried their best to save Seraphix: "Do not let SE.RA.PH reach the ocean floor. That thing cannot be born. Curse the demon god. Save mankind." The recorder ends with an exhortation to stop SE.RA.PH before everything is swallowed by this nirvana.
  420.
  421. -So it's a demon pillar incident after all. Melt says that the demon god summoned BB to manage this SE.RA.PH as a navigator. She did not tell you before this since as AI born from BB, both her and Lip have been imposed with several restrictions. In particular, not to talk about SE.RA.PH's true form and purpose. Since she was not allowed to explain it, you had to find out for yourself. But still, the record you just viewed was beyond Melt's expectations. She thinks that leaving such a thing behind was a massive failure on BB's part.
  422.
  423. -The demon pillar you're facing is one of the four that fled the Time Temple, ending up in Seraphix. Emiya thinks it's more cautious and cunning as compared to the other demon pillars, as it has accepted its defeat and is now attempting to create a stage where it can't lose through controlling Seraphix as a human. It also somehow found out about the presence of the Holy Grail of the Moon in another world and summoned BB, and BB began turning Seraphix into SE.RA.PH so that Zepar could be reborn without anyone noticing.
  424.
  425. -Tristan asks why he and all the other Servants were summoned. Melt says bluntly that they serve as resources. It's because Servants are the most nutritious. SE.RA.PH may appear to be a labyrinth, but it is actually a powerful city-type computing engine. On the moon, the Moon Cell Automaton supplies the resources required, but you are on Earth, and what's more, in the deep ocean. To maintain SE.RA.PH, the pseudo-spiritrons that make up the Servants are absorbed. Basically, the Servants are its fuel. It's because Lip and Melt objected to this that one was bound and the other scheduled for disposal.
  426.
  427. -At any rate, your goal is now clear: stop SE.RA.PH from sinking to the ocean floor, find Zepar, and defeat it. With that, the meeting is ended and you go to take your rest.
  428.
  429. -Later on, Melt and Lip are talking outside, with Melt mocking the humans for being so cowardly that they would not dare share a roof with an Alter-Ego. But Lip says Melt has changed as in the past she would have just stormed away in disgust at their cowardice. Melt admits it, saying that she's learnt to see things from the perspective of the weakling humans, learnt what they feared.
  430.
  431. -Lip seems happy to see such a Melt, and wonders if anything happened while she was bound. Like, for example, a great meeting with a wonderful Master. If not, Melt's misanthropy would not have been so mellowed. Melt says it was not all that great. After all, she could not hold their hands or keep her promise. Before Lip can ask more, Melt warns her to stop this line of conversation because it is irrelevant.
  432.
  433. -Lip apologizes for being a poor conversationalist and angering Melt, but she just has to ask one other question. There's something strange about Melt's hands. Melt praises her for noticing, and admires Lip's growth. Though she wanted to keep it a secret to prevent herself from burdening others, now she thinks she can count on Lip for this. Lip would be happy to know what happened to Melt, and what Melt knows.
  434.
  435. -Melt says that there's no time to talk about it, so she will share her experiences with Lip in the form of data: "What I saw, what I could not save... what I must do. I will pass all these on to you, my sister born of the same dream."
  436.
  437. -After the transfer is complete, Lip can do nothing but cry. Melt panics, wondering if she hurt Lip somehow. That's not it at all, as Lip is saddened by Melt's experiences, but Melt warns Lip that she'll cut ties if the words "Poor you" come out of her mouth. Melt says she's not suffering at all.
  438.
  439. -Lip is extremely sad, but at the same time, happy. All of the memories were shining bright. Though they were not her own experiences, she still feels proud, and says that it's not fair. Any AI that experienced such a miracle would come to like humans. So, Lip wants to help Melt however she can. Happy to hear that, Melt thanks her. This time, the three of them will certainly defeat that devil.
  440. At the church, Gawain has been called out by someone who wanted to speak with him in secret. Before he can finish his sentence, however, there is a squelching noise, he is dragged down, and is killed.
  441.
  442. -This causes a great stir the next day, when the others find out. Melt tells you that Gawain was murdered late last night when everyone was asleep. From the traces of magical energy left behind, there were no signs of battle, so Gawain must have been taken by surprise. Tristan says that no proud Heroic Spirit would resort to such a method, and asks Melt what she thinks, since she's an Alter-Ego.
  443.
  444. -Melt lays on the sarcasm by saying that she might have the motive after all, since although she stands against BB she is not an ally of humans. After disposing of BB and the demon pillar, she will control SE.RA.PH and declare war upon humans. Arnold panics and asks you what you're going to do about it as the Alter-Egos are like your pet cats. They just happen to be some pretty deadly cats, one that Emiya has never trusted.
  445.
  446. -Cat is getting a pretty suspicious feeling about all this, but she is unable to put it into words. You speak up for Melt and Lip. Melt says that logically it could not be them as they were still outside the church until a while ago. And it would be the least possible for her out of everyone here to take Gawain unawares as he would have his guard up around Melt.
  447.
  448. Tristan says that there is no evidence for anything at the moment and that there is no time for a trial. He tells you to continue exploring SE.RA.PH while he guards the church and protects Marble & Arnold. But he also insists that Emiya goes along with you. If Emiya refuses, he can look forward to a battle with Tristan should he want to enter the church in the future.
  449.
  450. -Emiya asks if he is being sent with you for monitoring purposes. Arnold thinks Tristan wants the Egos monitored, and wonders why he doesn't just dispose of them then. Marble corrects him in a quiet voice, saying that who Tristan really wants to monitor aren't the Egos.
  451.
  452. -Tristan doesn't trust Emiya. Emiya praises him for his cool-headed judgment even when his friend just got killed. Tristan says that it doesn't change the fact that he still distrusts the Alter-Egos, it is just that suspicious people will be monitored. Because they're suspicious. Though Tristan doesn't know the reason, the Alter-Egos need you. And on the other hand, even though Emiya is a Servant from Chaldea, he doesn't particularly care about you. Emiya thinks it a bother, but trying to make an enemy of everyone right here would be a waste of time. He'll go out exploring with you. Maybe you can find Gawain's killer.
  453.
  454. -Lip is sorry that she couldn't properly thank Gawain before he died, but she tells you not to worry. She will take his place and become your shield: "Because being sturdy is my only good point after all...! Passionlip will show you her best!"
  455.
  456. ================================================================================================================
  457.
  458. Chapter 4: Beauty of the Sunken Forest (1/4)
  459.
  460. -You continue defeating the SE.RA.PH-summoned Servants that get in your way. Lip admires Cat's intricate and elegant claw-work, and Cat boasts that she can even cook with these paws. To demonstrate, you order Cat to: "Saint Graph 2, Chaaaaaaaange!" Cat goes "Maid UP!" and transforms into her 2nd ascension. Lip is even more impressed by Cat's ability to perform housework now and asks to be made her disciple.
  461.
  462. -Melt is enjoying this. It's rare to see Lip raise her voice, not minding the gaze of others. Though Melt initially thought it was meaningless for you to defeat and recruit Cat, she's changed her mind. At the very least, she's grateful, since she can't make Lip laugh like that.
  463.
  464. -Cat detects a 'happy aura' and wants to be let in on the chat. Of course, it's a conversation only between fellow Alter-Egoes, so Demiya can scoot off. You can stay though. Melt asks about that "fellow Alter-Egoes" thing, to which Cat replies that she's one of the Tamamo Nine that split off from Tamamo-no-Mae, so she's an Alter-Ego. Though her class is Berserker. Melt didn't really want to hear something like that. Lip giggles, saying that Melt didn't notice Cat was fundamentally the same as them after all.
  465.
  466. -You, on the other hand, are wondering just what the Tamamo Nine are. Cat explains that it was originally a concept conceived to stand against the Sakura Five, but explaining it would take too long - it'd be about the length of a single RPG, text-wise. You should find out the details with other methods.
  467.
  468. -Cat changes the topic to ask bout Melt and Lip, since she notices certain opposing symmetries in their design; Lip's upper half and Melt's lower half being weapons, their personalities, and so on. Melt talks at length about how they were formed from different aspects of BB and are opposites in many ways. Sadism & masochism, Lip's hypersensitivity vs Melt's dullness of sensation.
  469.
  470. -Demiya tells them to cut the chatter. This area should be under Suzuka Gozen's watch. You'll need to defeat her to open up a way to the center of SE.RA.PH, the spinal area. Demiya reminds you of the Key to the Heart which you can use to subdue the KP and defeat Suzuka. Cat thinks it'll be great if you can defeat Suzuka without killing her, and that it'll be the best way to humiliate the faker. Lip asks if Cat knows Suzuka somehow but she vehemently denies it. Anyway, Cat tells you to take care of the battle in the inner heart, and she'll finish up somehow afterwards
  471.
  472. (2/4)
  473.
  474. -Your progress is barred by having to purchase another Gate Key. You ask about the Sakurament that you are gathering for the purchase, only to be told by Lip that it's actually QP in SE.RA.PH, BB just decided to change its name. When asked what the Sakurament is going to be used for, Lip says that it could be used as reserve energy if it becomes difficult to maintain SE.RA.PH, but normally it'd disappear on its own. Emiya says you're basically collecting garbage, though he privately thinks that it is more like a secret savings fund kept by BB, as the resources aren't being put into the operation of SE.RA.PH.
  475.
  476. -You receive a transmission from Arnold, who got Tristan to move some comms equipment from the control room to the church. He chews you out for being slow and not getting things done. You may be a Master, but you are still young. You lack both life experience and knowledge of Seraphix. That's why he's now taking on the burden of being a leader to give you directions. If he does not, it would be hard for you to resolve the situation by yourself. Marble apologizes, but Arnold tells her to shut up and begins telling you where you should go next.
  477.
  478. -It looks like despite disavowing the existence of the observatory earlier, he is now able to tell you where it can likely be found. There is an empty, unmarked space at the center of the map of Seraphix which he thinks is the place. Arnold tells you to go beat the Sentinel and return, as you'll have a bit of time for some rest before departing for the observatory.
  479.
  480. -Melt says that despite Arnold's problematic attitude, his orders are sound. Lip on the other hand is getting very mad on your behalf for Arnold treating you like a child. This prompts a conversation between you, Melt and Lip about how the Alter-Egos have been maturing mentally and spiritually. At the end of it, you figure that Melt is still hiding something. She jokes about how she's told you before that she's just using you and at the end plans to fight humans anyway. Melt asks if you'll still believe in her till the end anyway.
  481.
  482. -In what seems to be clearly a flashback scene by now, Melt is talking about having defeated 40 out of 128 Servants. It has been a hard journey but she is glad that you have been here for her. Alter-Egos are born empty on the inside, as they are artifical creations of an artificial creation. Even so, you have infused her with a new meaning of existence. Even if your meeting with her was coincidental, the fact that she is together with you right now is enough for Melt. Melt will try her best to answer your expectations, though defeating the remaining Servants seems a hopeless task. But well, she'll be counting on your help there. When you display a lack of self-confidence, Melt assures you that you are suitable to be her Master.
  483.
  484. (3/4)
  485.
  486. -Before battling Suzuka, your Servants give a bit of an infodump about her history. Though she's now immersed in JK culture, she is still a top-notch Servant. Melt thinks that as far as Suzuka is concerned, she sees no difference between BB or demon pillars. She seems to place more importance on her Master instead. And on that topic, Emiya says that he's not seen any of the Masters who're supposed to be summoning these large amounts of Servants. Lip tells you to talk later, as you're approaching the location of your fight with Suzuka.
  487.
  488. -Facing Suzuka, you ask her a question before battle: where is her Master? Suzuka says that she does not know her Master's face, has not met her Master, and has never even received a single order from them. But she has been summoned, and so she must have a Master and her Master's wish must be for their Servant to win. So it doesn't matter.
  489.
  490. -At any rate, including herself and the long-haired Archer, there are only 4 Servants left. Two, if you don't count the Chaldea Servants. When either she or Long-Hair dies, the Holy Grail War will end, and a wish will be granted. So she wants to quickly finish you off and go kill Tristan. One against four sounds like good odds to her, at that.
  491.
  492. -The fight wears on with Suzuka still going strong thanks to her KP. Lip is unable to capture Suzuka with her Trash due to the latter's speed. Melt is pissed that the Key to the Heart needs you to directly come into contact with the target to work, and complains that it's a defective product.
  493.
  494. -Arnold contacts you again from the church, saying that the whole of SE.RA.PH is quaking. He tells you off for being so incompetent as to be unable to finish off a single Servant. Suzuka is still confident, so you ask her if it's alright to be following a demon pillar's orders. This gives her pause, as she asks just what you mean. Cat tells Suzuka that she's just BB's puppet. Suzuka has no Master, has no wish of her own, and no proper plan for a future happy family. Of course Cat's Master would feel sorry for her.
  495.
  496. -Suzuka says that she does have one, and this has nothing to do with BB or demon pillars. She heard it, a small voice, when she was being summoned. "I want to win", and "I don't want to die in vain". Those were the only words she heard, no more than a single, tearful lament. But she will make that wish come true. Though she does not know her Master's face, or indeed if they are still alive, those were words that left her filled with strength. They were the last wishes of a human entrusted to her by an unknown Master who did not even know her name or face. That is why she has no choice but to win this Holy Grail War.
  497.
  498. -With that, Suzuka's heart is laid bare. And it's also time for Cat to show her true power. She uses one of the nine great secrets of the Tamamo Nine, the Cat Witchcraft: Jusou Kuuretsu Daimitsuten. The air around Suzuka thickens and seems to turn to jelly. Though the spell seems to hurt Cat to cast physically, Suzuka is now immobilized and you can start her Otome-Coaster. Suzuka gets all shy and defensive as it's far too soon for you to peek into her heart, especially when you're not even her Master. But it's too late, you're already touching her breasts and entering her heart.
  499.
  500. -After you beat her, Suzuka is so embarassed by her total defeat and your exposing of her heart that she decides that the only way out is to kill herself by jumping off a nearby cliff. You order Cat to stop her, which she does. Cat then attempts to recruit Suzuka, because if the party doesn't have a Saber, poor Gawain in heaven would be sad. The two of you convince Suzuka, and she joins your party, if only to spite the organizer of this event.
  501.
  502. -There is a sudden earthquake, and a demon pillar attacks. Melt falls into the depths of SE.RA.PH, the waste disposal site, while saving you.
  503.
  504. -After you defeat the pillar, Arnold contacts you again, saying that there's not much time left before SE.RA.PH hits the bottom. When you brief him about what happened, he tells you to come back immediately. Of course, you refuse. You still have to save Melt. After he asks and you refuse for the second time, Arnold asks you to consider this: when everything is over, he will be the one writing the report, which will determine whether or not your accomplishments will be recognized. Surely you don't want your career affected by a single mistake. Arnold says he'll pretend you never said what you did, and to come back quickly. Before he can finish his sentence, however, you cut the line.
  505.
  506. -You ask Suzuka if there's any way to get down there. There are wires you can use, it seems, which can extend with magical energy up to 5 km in length. Suzuka says she'll go down with you. Lip can't because, well, of her weight.
  507.
  508. -At the bottom of the waste disposal, Melt is conscious. She knows where she is, the trashcan of SE.RA.PH. Thinking that she has no time to waste here, that she must return to your side, Melt attempts to move but fails. Her hands are useless. Her legs can't be seen. In despair, she recites: "Albrecht, Albrecht. My beloved. This time, do not let go of my hand---"
  509.
  510. -Melt begins having a flashback to when she met you for the first time, when you had shifted from Chaldea without bringing any Servants, all by yourself. When you made a contract with her at the church, and she vowed to dance for you till the very end, you who had found her. When she admitted that she thought humans were scary and laughed at the Alter-Egos for being monsters, which is why hand-holding like this was a first for her. When she finally recovered her original strength, and started getting more sadistic and teasing in the control room: "But... who I fundamentally am has not changed, my Guda. The weak Meltlilith, the ugly Meltlilith, I'll always remember those parts of me. My experiences together with you won't be erased. For a swan that has realized that it is different to fly away from the muddy lake is unthinkable, right?"
  511.
  512. -Recalling those memories blurs Melt's vision. At that time she could do nothing but be frightened and in despair, crying alone at night, afraid that she would not have the strength to protect that person. But that person always supported her when she was weak, cried from having too much fun, laughed from encountering too many difficulties. No matter the situation, they were always so dazzling to Melt. As long as she was with them she could go anywhere, fight anyone. They were the best thing that ever happened to her.
  513.
  514. -"Even should these hands crumble, I will return to your side in flight." Melt recalled saying such words, though now they are only words, and everything is over for her. The mountain of garbage will crush her body when it collapses. This is the continuation of that time, where scheduled for disposal, she was but an malfunctioning doll at the church, in the chapel where no one would have reason to visit. That person offered a hand to the broken doll. Such a miracle would never happen twice.
  515.
  516. -You ask Melt if she's alright. She's stunned to see you, but immediately tells you she doesn't really want to hear how you came to help, but wants you to hold her hand. Tightly, as if to break it. Her sensation in her hand is dull, after all, and she wants to really feel your touch. Suzuka shouts at you that you should've reported immediately upon finding Melt. But there's no time to talk now, you're being surrounded by enemies and should enjoy your reunion later.
  517.
  518. -You plan to escape with the wire, but it was cut. Luckily, Tristan appears to bail you out. He laments having to use his harp to deal with such opponents at the bottom of such a place, for this way his eternal tone will become that of death metal. A very saddening thing for him. You thank him, but he tells you to think nothing of it, since Arnold was the one who ordered Tristan to drag you back.
  519.
  520. -Suzuka asks how he got down here, but it seems that this sort of height is just a stroll in the park for him, and he can descend even without using a safety line. Something like leaping off a spire to glide to the ground is a perfectly normal and common matter for a Knight of the Round Table. But as he is not a bird, he is unable to fly upwards. He asks if you have prepared any methods to return above, as he'll have to tag along with you there.
  521.
  522. -Melt says that you can probably count on BB to get you out, now that the way to the observatory is open. As she said, BB appears just a second later to send you out.
  523.
  524. -Back at the church, Arnold is getting angry and throwing things around because you hung up on him. Your attitude and lack of manners pissed him off. Everyone else, like the director and the vice-director, are dead, so he should be the highest ranking person here. Marble is trying to calm him down to no avail. Arnold begins plotting his next move.
  525.
  526. -Emiya walks into the church. Arnold says he has good timing, and asks Emiya to head for the medical room located at central control and retrieve some poison for him. Without warning, Emiya shoots Arnold, saying that time is short and that he should give his speech in hell. He promptly shoots Marble too. And with that, all Seraphix staff have been terminated. Animusphere's experiments will not be repeated again. All that is left to do for him is to destroy the observatory, even if what happened there is none of his business.
  527.
  528. -A voice tells Emiya that indeed, he was such a person. Even at that time, he killed many people just to achieve his goals. Emiya fires a couple of shots reflexively. He recognizes the Saint Graph pattern, and she wonders if he has forgotten, or if it was a memory lost when he became a Heroic Spirit. She talks about a cult that arose in a certain country, which attracted devotees that were people in power or scientists. The cult grew, and there was not one evil person in that cult, except perhaps for its founding mother, who created it on a whim.
  529.
  530. -An angered Emiya fires more shots, though nothing comes of it. The voice points out that he killed everyone in the building in order to kill the cult's leader. Because the cultists did not want to lose their leader, they had no choice but to try and kill Emiya. Emiya crushed them all, and finally reached and killed her. Her body, at least. Her heart remained unharmed. The voice thinks that if she were in Emiya's world, she'd be a little happy, but get bored very quickly and jump off the roof. Emiya's actions as an ally of justice were amusing, but he himself is a comical and insignificant man.
  531.
  532. -She tells him not to commit any thoughtless violence. Emiya can never escape her - he killed innocent civilians, and has to bear that sin. Someone like him would fall into hell even without ever encountering a poisonous moth like her. A mind of steel is not something a human can have. She asks him to please melt away like the Saber she devoured. But with this her doubts about being in Emiya's world have been cleared up. Why did Emiya twist his own beliefs all in order to kill her? It was because in that world, only he saw the ending of the path that she would take after being transformed.
  533.
  534. (4/4)
  535.
  536. -You find yourself dropped in a place by BB along with your other Servants like Lip and Cat. The area you're in right now is the one given to BB when she was a Sentinel. Seraphix had a special facility apparently used to monitor the leylines, or in simpler terms, investigating the brain waves of the planet.
  537.
  538. -Melt cuts the chase and tells you to go inside her, shocking Cat and prompting Lip to call Melt gutsy for daring to suggest such a thing. Melt teases you, asking if you're perfectly willing to go inside other girls but can't get it up if your partner is her. Suzuka knows what you mean, which is the same treatment she was subjected to. Meanwhile, Tristan is still confused about what's going on. Melt warns you to be careful as though her current self is weakening, she is as strong as ever in her mental space.
  539.
  540. -After you complete the battle against Melt, she feels satisfied as she hasn't been able to perform so freely to her heart's desire lately. Now that she's been defeated and the last vestiges of KP inside her eradicated, the way is open to the core. It looks like she's still in no shape to walk, so she asks that you leave her here, as her role has already ended once the core is open. So you carry her piggy-back style while she lectures you for being an idiot and to be careful of the spikes on her knees.
  541.
  542. -Back at the church, Arnold, Marble and Emiya are nowhere to be seen. Before you can begin to investigate, BB makes a sudden announcement that the Holy Grail War is over and that the game has ended. There are no winning Servants since there are 3 left alive, so it doesn't count. But BB'll give you a great big fanservice instead. She's offering a special chance for you to fight her personally. Any complaints, suggestions or requests you have can be directed to her there. With that, BB signs off.
  543.
  544. -You decide to go to the observatory. Melt will stay behind to rest and repair her saint graph. As she is unable to go, she tasks Lip with looking after you in her stead. Once you have left, Melt thinks to herself that last time only she and Lip were around, but right now she's working on a survival route, and she'll hope for Tristan, Tamamo Cat and Suzuka Gozen to be enough.
  545.
  546. ==========================================================================================================
  547.
  548. Curtainfall
  549.
  550. -You charge into BB's studio. She thinks you are Robin at first, back after the shopping errand she gave him. Unfortunately not, and she springs up in surprise. Cat comments that the studio seems to be pretty low-budget.
  551.
  552. -BB's not happy that you indelicately barged into a girl's room without so much as a knock. Even if this is the observatory's secret or the true form of SE.RA.PH, you should at least observe the proper timing. But if you've come for a fight, she'll answer your challenge. BB-chan's kouhai power is already overflowing so much that it can't be stopped anymore, so it's time for her burning libido to be unleashed. If you lose, don't even think about escaping; she'll immediately send you to the dog dimension and it'll be a game over right there.
  553.
  554. -Once you beat her, she praises you for the nice fight, saying that as a kouhai she's happy that her senpai has grown so strong. But she still has to say her lines properly, so here goes: "Don't think~~~ you've won~~~!" And with that, BB disappears. You wonder if you've really beaten her.
  555.
  556. -Suddenly, the room is plunged into darkness. Even Cat's infrared vision is unable to pierce through this gloom. You shout for everyone to gather together. Shots are fired in the dark - Lip blocks the ambush and demands that the demon pillar reveal itself. As the lights flicker back on, you find yourself in a room lined with coffins along its walls. There are young children inside all of those coffins. This place reminds you of Chaldea's control center, and those coffins, of the Coffins that you use during Rayshifts. If there were 128 Servants, then there must be 128 Masters. Although Suzuka did not know where or who her Master was, the answer is clear now.
  557.
  558. -Emiya provides that explanation. This is the heart of Seraphix. The Celestial Sphere Simulator room, System Animusphere. Here are where the Master reserves used by the demon pillar to summon the 128 Servants lie. After the demon pillar took control of Seraphix, it discovered the existence of this observatory. An uncertain world is contained within those Coffins. No matter how many years its been since the mage within died, as long as power is supplied then their biological circuits can still be utilized. The 128 Servants were summoned by the living corpses in these coffins. And it is not just once or twice, but many dozens of times.
  559.
  560. -But that is now over. Emiya has destroyed the power source of the Coffins. After all this time spent neither alive nor dead, these Masters can now know the comfort of true death. And it is time for you to die too, Emiya says. SE.RA.PH needs no Master, and as for the existence of people who know about this observatory...
  561.
  562. -Emiya is engulfed by shadow, becoming a man who has lost even his name. He continues his words - for those who know about this place, they must not be allowed to live, with no exception. This case cannot be repeated a second time. He will wipe away all traces of evil and crush the possibility that this tragedy may continue. He lives for that reason, and because of that... A voice speaks: "For that reason, you have trampled over countless lives. This time will not be an exception. Please do as you wish, nameless enforcer. Carry out this final mission to your heart's desire." Emiya only offers silence as a response.
  563.
  564. -Robin returns at this moment from his errands, only to be surprised by your presence, and at Emiya looking like he's a dead man walking. Lip tells him that explanations will have to come later, and if he's free he should help you out. BB's job as a Game Master has ended and all that's left is to beat the demon god that summoned BB. Robin's in disbelief that BB's lost as soon as he took off for a while, but Lip's right, now is the time to help out. He says that Lip has grown into a fine young lady, unlike the gloomy stalker girl she was before, causing her to sulk.
  565.
  566. -After the fight, Emiya collapses in a pool of his own blood. Marble appears, saying that though Emiya didn't seem to get along with your group, wasn't he still a Chaldea Servant? To kill him off like that so mercilessly is pretty mean, and doesn't fit in with her image of you. Her presence here confirms for Cat that she is the mastermind behind all this, as Marble now projects an immense Yin aura. With this, Cat identifies the Dakini Heavenly Art technique Marble is using, and that she is a practitioner from a branch of the Tachikawa-ryuu of Buddhism. She demands that Marble reveals her true self.
  567.
  568. -Marble says that it is indeed very restricting to wear the bodies of others. So she'll do as Cat says, and apologizes beforehand for ill-manneredly changing in front of you. Marble's form is replaced by that of a woman in a nun habit. It is the first time you have met her in this form, and she says that Marble Macintosh was only the visage of someone deceased. She introduces herself as the therapist who was on duty at the church, Sesshouin Kiara.
  569.
  570. -She is the woman who was chosen to be the host for the demon god Zepar. But right now she is not a demon pillar, and not a demon god either. After a lot of talks, she came to an understanding with 'Zepar-sama', and now they are both aiming to save the people together. In terms that you would understand better - she is one of the 7 Humanity's Evils. Beast III, the beast of pleasure.
  571.
  572. -Kiara blushes with embarrassment, as she had become this way before she noticed. She is just a poor woman who had her body stolen by Zepar, doomed to disappear in bubbles along with everyone else on Seraphix. At least, she was supposed to be so. But because of Zepar's whims her body became like this, and SE.RA.PH itself also imitated human form; Kiara claims it as harassment from the demon pillar, turning Seraphix into her own body. Indeed, it has been a time of trials. In this elongated period of time, she has been assaulted, broken, and abandoned by countless Heroic Spirits. Truly, the time of her dreams.
  573.
  574. -Something is off with her words, and your head seems hazy. Robin asks Kiara if she was the one who summoned BB under Zepar's influence. Kiara affirms that, saying that it was Zepar's power. She came to know of many other parallel worlds, the process of which she passes off as an obscure concept called a Compilation Phenomenon. Amongst those many other worlds, she discovered the existence of the Moon Cell Automaton, the Moon's Holy Grail in a world far, far away from this one. In the countless Kiaras reflected in the kaleidoscope of worlds, the one with the most unique fate was the one who obtained the Moon Cell in the imaginary numbers dimension at the far side of the moon.
  575.
  576. -Zepar seemed to enjoy that particular fate of hers, and connected Kiara, who had only suffered the fate of bullying ever since Seraphix fell into frenzy, with the "her" of the other world. As a result, Kiara ended up achieving the same destiny as her other self on the Moon. So it was not that Zepar salvaged BB and began to digitalize Seraphix, but the process of forming SE.RA.PH began with the pillar using Kiara as the medium. Kiara says that she tried to stop it, but with a frail human's body she could not go against a demon god. Lip says that since this SE.RA.PH was made from Kiara, and on the moon, Kiara had once swallowed her, Melt and BB, then in this way, they were extracted from within Kiara and repurposed into Sentinels.
  577.
  578. -Kiara appears sad that she did such horrible things to BB and the Alter-Ego girls before. She says that even if Zepar successfully converted all of Seraphix into SE.RA.PH, it did not have the skills to manage its operations. To that end, it appointed BB to oversee matters. But it's finally over. You've triumphed over SE.RA.PH's rules, survived the Holy Grail War, and are about to save the digitalized Seraphix. The time for your efforts to be rewarded has come, and so Kiara offers you her heartfelt gratitude, which she begs you to accept.
  579.
  580. -Suzuka doesn't buy it for one bit. Kiara's incense is filled with aphrodisiac. Her words filled with lies. Even if she may have spoken the truth, she did not touch on the important things. Though Kiara keeps going "Zepar-sama" this and "Zepar-sama" that, just where is this Zepar-sama right now?
  581.
  582. -Since SE.RA.PH is Kiara's body, Suzuka asks just how many Servants has she consumed. Just how many times has she shown the dead here a cruel dream, just for the sake of consuming those Servants? Kiara pleads with you not to put the blame on her, because she could not help it. Although she knew that the demon god's words were wrong, the battles between the Servants was just so delightful and delicious. She was totally engrossed by it. And as for how many times the summoning of a new batch of Servants occurred... she lost count after the number passed about 70.
  583.
  584. -Robin did not hear about any of this from BB, though he did know that there was some villain controlling her. He just didn't expect it to be such a monster. Robin doesn't know what a Beast is but he's certain that this woman cannot be let loose in the world. Kiara agrees, saying that is why she is on this ocean-going base instead.
  585.
  586. -The time for a pleasant talk is over, sadly. You need to stop SE.RA.PH. Kiara laments that you have stubbornly judged her as evil. But it can't be helped. After all, she is indeed evil. And she begins to giggle. Suzuka and Cat immediately use their Noble Phantasms on her, but she only fades away.
  587.
  588. -There is a crash, making Robin wonder if SE.RA.PH has landed on the ocean floor, but Lip reports that it has gone beyond that - it has now penetrated the crust and is sinking towards the core of the Earth. If it reaches the core, Beast III will be elevated to the position of being the Earth's brain, becoming the erogenous zone of the planet.
  589.
  590. -A disembodied Kiara says that she is surprised at Lip's quick analysis of the situation. Indeed, everything up till now was just foreplay. Once SE.RA.PH arrives at the core, the planet will become her body, and with that, this time she will save humanity. All sufferings and pain can find salvation, and 7 billion humans will be used for the sake of saving one person.
  591.
  592. -But before that, she needs to deal with some pests that are getting in the way of her climax. The surroundings change to reveal a paradise-like garden, and Kiara herself appears in a changed form. She will have you go to rest in her nirvana. Though you don't really get what's going on, you put on a brave face and tell her not to underestimate you. Tristan agrees, saying that no matter who she is, her Saint Graph is still not so different from that of a Servant. Each of the 5 Servants here are unmatched in battle, and they would have nothing to fear even if facing a demon god. With that said, he offers Kiara one last chance to reform and turn over a new leaf. Tristan asks her to stop SE.RA.PH, and kill herself.
  593.
  594. -Kiara is touched at how gentle Tristan is, but his concern is misplaced. You were all just bugs crawling over her body till now, and in battle you would be nothing more than monkeys in the palm of her hand. She'll show you what that means.
  595.
  596. -In the blink of an eye, Robin, Suzuka, Cat and Tristan are killed. It was just as Kiara said; you were in the palm of her hand. The Demon King Goetia was indeed a mighty beast, but that is merely strength. He was only a beast that could destroy. Kiara's power is still weak right now, and as a Beast she is an immature pupa, something fragile and weak in the perception of others. But all beings with wisdom have souls bound by desire. So long as they have desire, they will not be able to defeat her.
  597.
  598. -Kiara says that she'll have you now, drawing near. As your vision goes white, you hear someone shouting for Lip to press the 'load' button. You hear familiar digital noises - it seems that the button was successfully pressed. A Rayshift occurs, as BB demonstrates her true heroine kouhai powers and gets you away from Kiara.
  599.
  600. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  601.
  602. -In a flashback, we see Zepar giving up on the "72 Demon Pillars" and going solo as the "Demon God Zepar". It does not know where the other three pillars that escaped went, nor does it care. It does not hold any hatred for humanity, in fact, it is hopeful for their potential. Deciding on "managing humans as information" to be his new life's hypothesis, it made Seraphix as its base. Flauros had previously reported this facility as one of the reasons for the 'unobservable region'.
  603.
  604. -Zepar parasitized one of the humans in the church, as emergency measures until its wounds from the Time Temple healed. To resolve his hypothesis would take many decades, so time was needed. Furthermore, parasitizing humans would be the best way to avoid the eyes of Chaldea. That was its reason.
  605.
  606. -The human that it possessed was Sesshouin Kiara. A therapist that listened to the troubles of the staff and resolved them. Kiara was a true saint, a vessel for the Messiah. As long as she had those qualities she would be persecuted by the world, which would not welcome such kindness. Most assuredly, Zepar claims, without its outside influence Kiara would live a modest but happy life in a small community, respected by its members to the end. But Zepar did not need such kindness. That is why it interfered with her consciousness. It acted while she was asleep, and thought to regain its power bit by bit.
  607.
  608. -Kiara found it wonderful that by converting emotions into numerical values, it was possible to sooth the hearts of those afflicted by worry. As it was a good idea, she would not mind Zepar using her body as much as it wanted. Zepar felt that her devotion and respect for it was genuine, and even though it was a demon god, it felt good about that. So it began its plan, using Kiara's knowledge and position to gain influence over the oil rig. Kiara's body was excellent bargaining material for negotiations with the opposite sex. The authorities fell under her power easily.
  609.
  610. -At that time, Zepar learnt about the myriad pleasures that humans could experience. It would have been better had it not known, regretted Zepar. Pleasure was unnecessary for a demon god. For a spiritual being like it, the pleasures of the flesh was too much of a stimulus and it fell into corruption. Kiara, who was absolutely obedient, followed all of Zepar's commands, and more. Her motivation and actions impressed even Zepar, and the ugliness sleeping within was truly befitting the title of a demon god.
  611.
  612. -Certainly, Zepar began the conversion of Seraphix into SE.RA.PH, but the changes that happened after exceeded his expectations. Kiara rescued and comforted the panicked staff of Seraphix, creating a community where everyone was dependent on her existence. And then, one by one, they were discarded from the group. There was no particular rhyme or reason as to who, it was just something decided on a whim.
  613.
  614. -The group became gripped by a sense of crisis, and fear warped the personalities of the staff, depraving them, stripping them of all humanity. There was a man who killed his wife so that he would not be abandoned by Kiara. There was a woman who was killed by those around her when she attempted to kill Kiara. There was a woman who killed all those who saw Kiara's sad face. And there was one who wanted to escape from Kiara, but could not do so. Zepar just wanted a safe place to hide in. It never wanted to see hell, it never needed this hell.
  615.
  616. -Meanwhile, Kiara is giggling and going: "What are you saying, Zepar-sama, aren't we're going to have so much more fun from now on?"
  617. Then Kiara tempted the staff into opening up the observatory. By the time the 128 Servants and BB appeared in SE.RA.PH, ostensibly to fulfil Zepar's purpose as Kiara claimed, it no longer had any control over Kiara's body. It could no longer stop Kiara's actions. Zepar was the one who was possessed now. Though it had intended to possess Kiara, it seems that she was better at that.
  618.
  619. -Kiara found out from Zepar that each of the four escaped pillar demons was intending to create a singularity of their own. Each of them had departed with different questions to answer, and to resolve those questions the creation of a singularity was necessary. Kiara only smiled and found it silly. After all, rather than creating a singularity, wouldn't it feel better to become one themselves?
  620.
  621. -At that time, Zepar finally understood that it was too late. It no longer had any control. It had tried separating from Kiara, but not only did it no longer have any influence over Kiara's body, it no longer had any freedom whatsoever to speak of. It wanted to leave. It pleaded to leave, it even said that it would prepare an alternative sacrifice if need be.
  622.
  623. -In response, Kiara said: "What are you talking about, Zepar-sama? We are united as one that share the same destiny and embrace the same ideals. Or perhaps... is there something about me that dissatisfies you?"
  624.
  625. -The terror that struck Zepar when it heard those words has yet to loosen its grip. Zepar begged for forgiveness. It just wanted to be released. Everyday it was used. Used to birth an irredeemable devil. It could no longer touch the diary that it hid in the chapel. The only right granted to it, the only place where it could live, was the very tip of Kiara's pinky. Shaking off the fear, it tried to beg again. "Please free me", and "Please just let me off".
  626.
  627. -Kiara was troubled by Zepar's pleas. It seemed that Zepar had misunderstood that the tip of the pinky finger was under its jurisdiction somehow. That was not the case, Zepar no longer had any place to live. The tip of the pinky was just given as a favour. In fact, that Zepar was even conscious at all was only because Kiara permitted it.
  628.
  629. -Zepar went mad. In its madness, one last thought ran through its mind. All that it was had been stolen by this woman. If it left Kiara it would surely disappear. Would it choose to be enslaved by a human, or to disappear proudly as a demon god? Suffering over the choice, ultimately Zepar decided it would choose the former.
  630.
  631. -Saying that she was Zepar's ally, Kiara smiled. A beautiful smile filled with charity and love, that nauseated Zepar. Kiara continued: "But if Zepar-sama asks for it, I will harden my heart and release you, okay?"
  632.
  633. -Zepar refused, vehemently. It was alright. Even the tip of the pinky was fine. It wanted to be saved, it did not want to be abandoned. It did not want to be deprived of its purpose, its intentions, and its reason. Kiara comforted Zepar, saying that it would be fine as long as it feels good, wouldn't it? Zepar's goal was to save mankind. Kiara's goal was also to save mankind. So, Zepar can leave everything to her now, and return to its origin.
  634.
  635. -While pleading almost incoherently that it didn't do anything wrong, so why did this have to happen, it didn't want to die, it didn't want to be killed, that it wanted to be saved, for Kiara not to abandon it, Zepar disappeared.
  636.
  637. -In the church, BB commented that this habit of Kiara's was in poor taste; she had been purposely doing the exact opposite of whatever Zepar asked. Kiara replied that she only answered Zepar-sama's wish, though whatever it said after that no longer had anything to do with her. She's forgotten it all.
  638.
  639. -Well, Zepar had eaten quite a number of Seraphix staff anyway, BB said, and filed it under its karma. BB says that if her job is just to manage the Holy Grail War, then she'll be conducting it neutrally. Kiara confirms that, saying that it'll still take a year in SE.RA.PH time before the transformation is complete. It would be boring to just keep falling until then, so she asks BB to keep summoning more and more Servants. Such a wonderful and exciting prospect prevented her from falling asleep - these would be experiences that she had seen only in her dreams. Barely able to remember Zepar's name correctly and calling it Zepa, she thanked the demon pillar for giving her this opportunity.
  640.
  641. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  642.
  643. -The flashback ends, and meanwhile you find yourself in an old classroom. All your Servants that should've been dead are here too, thanks to BB bailing everyone out. She says that you have to admit that she is cute already, and that she can take back the heroine power that Melt stole. Melt says that's impossible since BB's meddled with you too much for you to forget. It looks like both Melt and Lip have also made it here safely.
  644.
  645. -BB starts sulking that you're only paying attention to the Egos and asks if she doesn't get a word of thanks. Well, you don't have much time, so she begins to explain. All the Servants had been killed by that True Demon - BB corrects herself at this point and calls her a Humanity's Evil instead - and they really should try harder. So BB rewound time a bit to do it over. Cat laughs and says that this scale of time reversal is a bit scary, so BB shouldn't joke around. BB proudly claims it as a horror and not to look down on SE.RA.PH and BB-chan.
  646.
  647. -Time jumps aren't that difficult in the digital world, and basically you can move about three hours, give or take. More precisely, the classroom you're in is 100 metres above SE.RA.PH, in the middle of the ocean. The SE.RA.PH that has been sinking through the Mariana Trench has also digitalized the ocean that it passed through. Using that special characteristic, the more you move upwards, the more you move back in time. Since you are now 100 metres above SE.RA.PH, you have moved back 90 seconds in time. Tristan calculates that if that was the case, if you escape to the surface you'll be able to move two and a half hours back in the real world, before you arrived from Chaldea.
  648.
  649. -Theoretically, yes, but BB explains that once in SE.RA.PH, it is not so easy to escape Kiara's ero powers - and she corrects herself once again to gravity field - as you'd need to exceed the speed of light. Those speeds are achievable in the digital world but the Saint Graph would not be able to withstand the strain. Even an A-class Servant would have their Saint Graph turned into a wreck, and even if they managed to escape SE.RA.PH with such a method, normally they'd just burn up and die midway.
  650.
  651. -You can't leave SE.RA.PH be anyway, since if Beast III reaches the core it'll become one with the Earth. That's the only thing BB-chan can't laugh about, as she was dispatched to this SE.RA.PH for that reason after all. Now that the Grail War is over and she is no longer bound by the restrictions of managing SE.RA.PH, she's free to act as your commander for the upcoming operation.
  652.
  653. -Next, you begin discussing how to defeat Kiara. Robin says that even a hundred Servants wouldn't cut it, and normally he'd be right, but BB has a plan. BB says that Kiara is only half of Beast III, the R. Like left and right, yin and yang, Kiara's is the R of Beast III, and she is yet incomplete, a pupa that has yet to hatch. Tristan wonders if it'll get any stronger after hatching, but BB thinks the main difference would be between not being able to move, and being able to move.
  654.
  655. -At any rate, fighting it would be hard. So BB has specially prepared some items to help you fight Kiara's cheat-level authority, Logos Eater. Of course, you'll have to pay for it. Robin complains that BB's still charging even when the world's in crisis, and you compare her to Ishtar.
  656.
  657. -BB asks if you thought items just pop out for free. All that Sakurament you collected till now was for this purpose, and she had it hard too trying to help you while not letting Kiara catch on. Anyway, she says she is definitely humanity's ally and Beast III/R's enemy. Though she is not a resident of this world but an AI dispatched from the Moon Cell Automaton, she asks for your aid in stopping the Beast, declaring the start of Operation C.C.C., Cursed Cupid Cleanser.
  658.
  659. -An hour before the final battle begins, you are watching the sunset with Melt in the classroom. She's partially recovered, so she wants to be taken along to the battle with Kiara. After some moments of silence, you thank her for all she's done so far. She tells you not to mind it as your relationship was that of give and take, after all. You fell into SE.RA.PH, she met you, and you've continued fighting together since then. You were a weak Master and still rather pathetic even now. There were many painful and sad matters, but Melt thinks it wasn't bad at all.
  660.
  661. -In fact, she is the one who should thank you. You've given her what she wanted the most. When SE.RA.PH disappears, her and Lip will return to their world and her bond with you will be severed. Until then, she will continue to walk with you, her one and only Master. That is all she can do for you in return.
  662.
  663. -As she walks away, you stop her, saying that she is hiding something after all. Melt turns around and smiles. She says it's nothing, just something that had already ended. Bidding you goodbye, she tells you to thank BB if you manage to escape SE.RA.PH.
  664.
  665. ==============================================================================
  666.
  667. Final Chapter: Carve, Palladion (1/2)
  668.
  669. -Kiara doesn't seem to have expected that you'd come back after escaping. Like a moth to the flame, perhaps you have become unable to forget her? If so, she'll play with you as many times as you want, until your heart breaks and your passion withers; but be careful, though she may look like this, because she is so turned on at the moment she might just squeeze you too hard until you burst.
  670.
  671. -Melt takes a jab at her about old women being prone to jabbering on and on. Kiara doesn't like Melt's attitude, saying that she'll take particular care to capture Melt and crush her hands, as a puppet with only legs is useless. Melt snipes back - she'd love to see Kiara crying in regret for not leaving her hands for last and crushing the legs first.
  672.
  673. -As Kiara draws closer, you step in front of Melt. Kiara asks if you're trying to protect Melt, or if you want to talk to her. If you want to change your religion it's still not too late. You declare your lack of interest in old hags rather loudly.
  674.
  675. -Kiara gets offended and says there's no proof that she's old, and that you are only prejudiced by her appearance. There are after all teens that look like they're in their twenties, she asserts. Lip cheerfully says that she understands, because there are teens that look like they're in their thirties. Kiara calls her a baby-face and tells her to shut up, saying that she would not understand that feeling when you get treated like an older person even though you're still in high school.
  676.
  677. -Anyway, Melt brings the conversation back on course. Why did Kiara want to become a Beast? It's because she saw a remarkable sight in Zepar's memories. The battle at the Time Temple was like a wonderful dream to her - at that time, Zepar, Goetia, and everyone there looked like they were having so much fun. Kiara wanted to be punished like that, to get killed by countless Heroic Spirits as numerous as the stars. However, that wasn't a dream that could be granted by possessing the meagre body of a human or a demon god. So she thought that she had no choice but to become a Beast.
  678.
  679. -You can't believe that's her real reason, but Melt assures you that is just the sort of woman Sesshouin Kiara is, and why she is so frightening. Though she had all the qualities necessary to become a messiah, she abused it all for her narcissism. Her bountless, gentle love, her words that soothed the soul, her beautiful devotion, all of it was used only for her own sake. Because she appeared to be a Holy Mother on the outside, everyone was taken in. Kiara does love humans and want to save them, but in her world, she considers only herself as human. So she loves humans more than anything else, and will not hesitate to use the lives of others, treating them as humanoid toys for her own purposes. Lip calls her an incarnation of narcissism, more hideous than the Alter-Egos born of emotion; a monster that loves humanity more selfishly than anything else in this world, that her true form as Beast III.
  680.
  681. -Kiara admits it, but what of it? Besides her, all others in the world are animals. She was raised in that sort of world, she lived in that sort of world. Only a rare few would judge her as evil, and those who did so ended up being sinners ostracized from human society. The ones who tried to bring evils like her to justice were repudiated for not serving society's interests. Could you call those animals human? Then, those nameless heroes were too unrewarded.
  682.
  683. -Back in the observatory, Demiya's lifeless hand clenches.
  684.
  685. -Kiara proclaims that if she is the only human, then she is the only person. If that were not the case, this world could not be saved. She seeks nothing but more pleasure, and is content with being nothing more than an object of worship for the people's faith. Now her body is paradise, a place of heavenly nirvana. It is time to harvest each life as if it were a fruit.
  686.
  687. -BB makes her move then, sealing away Kiara's Goun Kojyou cheat skill that seduces all five senses for five minutes. Made from the collected KPs based off Melt's report, it is the anti R-18 field "Wisdom Hold Intelligence Powered" Melt-chan Death Whip. For the next five minutes, an anti-lust rule has been enacted upon SE.RA.PH, reducing all eros magical energy. Melt has some complaints about the name though.
  688.
  689. -Kiara looks unperturbed, saying that she was getting bored of the perspective of a god anyway. She welcomes you, saying that she'll show you the other side of a demon god. What you are about to face is something born from the sea of pleasure, which devoured a demon god while being possessed by it. A great calamity that made itself into a singularity and transformed itself into a beast; the Beast III Rapture.
  690.
  691. (2/2)
  692.
  693. -You beat Kiara, but she refuses to admit defeat. A human like her can't possibly lose to a bunch of ants. The ground beneath your feet sinks away, as SE.RA.PH's gravity field weakens. Lip asks everyone to grab on to her hands. SE.RA.PH begins descending further and further away from you. Furthermore, Lip is detecting demon pillar reactions. Tristan wonders if the nameless demon pillars are now proliferating within SE.RA.PH.
  694.
  695. -Kiara praises you for cornering her this much and calls you the true victor of the Holy Grail War. That is why she is letting you go home now, setting you free from SE.RA.PH. All that is left for you to do then is to watch as she gains everything she desires, laughs Kiara.
  696.
  697. -But with that, Melt notes that SE.RA.PH is now naked and defenseless. The removal of the gravity field means that its magnetic force is the same as that of Earth. In her haste to escape Kiara has undone her greatest defense. Melt asks you for one more favour. She wants you to use your remaining command spells on her and Lip. No need for any orders, just the magical energy will do.
  698.
  699. -Tristan asks Melt what she's going to do with the energy, but she replies that it'll be hers to do as she wishes. You do as Melt says, trusting in her to the end. Once you use the CS, Melt asks BB to retrieve everyone besides her and Lip. She calls back you, Robin and Tristan, but one of the three refuse to go. Still, BB's not too pleased at this turn of events, since it means Kiara will be able to reach the planet's core successfully. Cat asks if she doesn't have any more cheat items to use for this, but BB says that she's really done her best just getting the anti-Beast tools ready.
  700.
  701. -The demon pillar inside SE.RA.PH is about to overflow from imaginary numbers space. Soon they'll proliferate explosively from SE.RA.PH's body and this entire region of ocean will be blanketed in a rain of demon pillars. Cat doesn't like that weather report and wants it to be sunny instead, but if it comes down to it she'll just have to go hunting. BB says that it wouldn't work, you'd have to be able to kill 44 demon pillars a second just to keep up with the rate of growth.
  702.
  703. -BB is attempting to contain the expansion of SE.RA.PH, but her processing power is just insufficient. If there was at least another AI of her level things could work out. Cat asks if she can't do it, since if it's 'Ai' (love) she has a mountain's worth of it. BB says that what she really needs is a Moon Cell-grade precision in phenomenon organization. Surprising BB, Suzuka volunteers, saying that if it's about calculation speed then she can probably do it.
  704.
  705. -Kiara continues to sink, taunting you all the while. Meanwhile, Melt and Lip are preparing for their final attack. No matter what fun days or sad things she encountered, Melt is satisfied to just be able to shine here. It's her finale. Lip is extremely happy for Melt too. She'll act as the bow to launch Melt as a spear.
  706.
  707. -Melt thinks back to what happened originally, when she was defeated by Kiara. Kiara told her that if the bird would not be caged, its wings must first be clipped. She talks about first crushing her hands, then her prided legs, but before that, perhaps she should punish the rebellious doll by destroying what she holds dear the most. Melt begins pleading and begging for Kiara not to do so, but Kiara melts you away with just a touch. She says that you really tried to protect Melt right until the end.
  708.
  709. -You disappeared, without being able to escape. Kiara had managed to prevent BB's time jump because they were still sentinels, implanted with Kiara's factor, the Karma Phages. Only by erasing all of these can Kiara's omnipotence be challenged. But you only reached Kiara as a mere victor of the Holy Grail War after choosing a path of destruction, leading to your doom. That is why, the next time all the Sentinels must be annihilated, defeated in a gentle way that you would be able to accept.
  710.
  711. -It was then that the Lip of that time sent Melt flying off with their combined NP, the Virgin Raiser Palladion. Kiara just lets her escape, thinking that she is no threat. Melt continues to rise, aiming for the horizon 10,000 metres ahead, two and a half hours ago. She breaks the speed of light and severely damages her Saint Graph, but it is all worth it if she can only meet with you just one more time.
  712.
  713. -Reaching the SE.RA.PH of two and a half hours ago, Melt makes her way to the church, where the her at this time had been deactivated, waiting for disposal. There is no time to explain, and she shares her memories with her other self. The new Melt, having received a beautiful dream and those memories, accepts her role to find and assist you. And then, the Melt of the old timeline shatters, at the back of the chapel. This was her original fate after all, to disappear as a doll with no purpose within the church.
  714.
  715. -But even though no one should have noticed, you did. This encouraged Melt, and she swore then. No matter what happened, she would save you. Even should her hands be crushed, she would return to your side in flight.
  716.
  717. -Back to the now, Lip fires off Melt again, this time downwards, towards Kiara. Melt can feel her body breaking down even further as she shoots towards the bottom of the ocean. It is a moment that feels like it would last forever. She reminisces once more about the battles she fought alongside you, and your face, even though you did not know her upon your reunion. Melt bids you goodbye, her unfamiliar Albrecht. Your connected hands will soon be parted. Her body will soon collapse... but your hearts, joined together, will never separate.
  718.
  719. -Melt closes in on Kiara. She thinks that it is naturally that they would hate each other. They were both born from the sea of pleasure after all, and originally Melt would be a monster closer to Kiara. But there was just one bit that was different. Kiara did not have a heart that could love anything besides herself.
  720.
  721. -She crashes into Kiara, causing the latter to shout that this would doom Melt too. Melt's fine with that, dying together with a hated enemy is just about acceptable as far as deaths go. Besides, did Kiara expect anyone other than herself to deal the last blow? As the lead of this play, Melt'll teach Kiara one last thing: "One's love must be protected by one's self."
  722.
  723. -Kiara's hair begins to wrap around Melt - it looks like the hair is also demon pillars - preventing Melt piercing through to her heart. Right now, Kiara's SE.RA.PH body will not be able to hold together long enough to reach the core, but there is a suitable vessel right in front of her. She plans to take Melt's body to continue her plan. As Melt was originally extracted from Kiara, they have the same Saint Graph, so transferring herself over would be doable. After taking Melt's body, she plans to re-absorb Lip and take BB's resources.
  724.
  725. -After she kills you there will be no one to tell Chaldea the truth. Then all she needs to do is to hide herself and await her chance. After all, the desire of humans is insatiable, and with that as her nutrition, she will never die. Next time---
  726.
  727. -"No. This time, you won't get another chance. This crevasse will be your grave, Beast III" says a man's voice. Shots are fired at the hair entangling Melt, breaking her free. Melt is surprised that he wasn't dead, but he replies that his body is dead. Just that as long as the consciousness still lingers, this much can still be done.
  728.
  729. -Kiara calls him a truly boring man for crawling this far even with that dead body. The man admits that he is boring, but says that Kiara so happens to be amusing. There is no spectacle greater to him than watching a villain losing so ignominiously. Angered, Kiara brushes it off as he is just a Servant after all, and his peashooters are of no threat to her. She will capture Melt again since the man will collapse soon.
  730.
  731. -But he's not about to let that happen. He attaches a wire to Melt and she is pulled away to safety. That is how a swan should fly, the man muses. To Kiara, he tells her to sink like iron, for that form of hers can neither take flight nor float.
  732. Kiara plummets, almost disbelieving that a bunch of pests could have awoken her from her dream. She begins to scream in agony from the pain, begging for someone to stop it. She wants a do over, because she is just not satisfied. As she finally disappears, the man says her death throes were not too bad.
  733.
  734. -At the very last, Kiara thinks about what was different between her and Melt. Melt, who swam on the surface of the lake of pleasure, while she drowned within it. Kiara seems to come to this conclusion: if that question is the punishment given to her, then the circumstances for her to become an Alter-Ego, like that girl, may perhaps be possible.
  735.
  736. -You wake up in BB's studio, where she congratulates you on defeating Beast III/R. Lip is relieved that all your vitals are normal, while Suzuka still seems woozy from all the calculations she must have done. Cat doesn't really understand the extent of what went on, but she thanks Suzuka for doing a good job anyway and offers her a cake. Still, Suzuka was emitting radio waves towards Moon-Moon together with BB, so Cat wonders if she isn't hiding some serious skills.
  737.
  738. -Suzuka says that it isn't a skill that's important to a JK so forget it. Robin is amazed that the stay-behind group have become such fast friends, and though you've won, the attacking group suffered some casualties so it's not entirely a result to be happy about. You ask where Melt and Tristan is.
  739.
  740. -BB thinks back to what happened. Melt, looking faded, was pulled up with the wire by Tristan. Demiya stayed behind and was lost together with the area. He probably did not plan to survive from the start. Melt is surprised that Tristan saved her, and BB sighs that since Melt's an aspect of herself, it's only a given she had no eyes for anything else but her own love life. BB tells Melt that Tristan had been trying to protect Melt from the beginning.
  741.
  742. -Lip says she didn't really notice either because Tristan didn't have much of a presence. And he slipped up with his harp performances, and kept mistaking Lip's name. BB shakes her head and says the Egos need a lot more emotional education. Melt says she doesn't need such a thing because she's already a proper lady, and in fact isn't BB bad at love too? BB claims she's at an intermediate level because she studies every day.
  743.
  744. -Anyway, BB imitates Tristan and speculates: This girl is injured, there is something she is hiding from Master, but still, she looks like Isolde. There must be a reason for her to bear such wounds and continue to fight, an unimaginable reason, but still, she looks like Isolde. Alter-Egos are no different from normal girls, and to safeguard that truth is a knight's role, but still!
  745. Melt exclaims that isn't that just because she looks like Isolde. BB doesn't actually know what Isolde looks like anyway, so as she said, it was just her speculation.
  746.
  747. -Then, Melt begins to vanish. Whether or not she was saved down there, she will still meet her end. Her Saint Graph is at its limits. She asks BB what will happen to her and Lip. BB replies that she'll disappear, of course. Servants can be resummoned from the Throne as long as a record exists, but Melt and Lip were born from Kiara, and won't be retrieved by the Moon Cell. Once they disappear, they'll be treated as if they never existed in this world. But that's what the stuffy Moon Cell thinks, and BB is the Moon Butterfly, the Moon Cancer. It's possible to register Melt and Lip in this world as irregulars and make them Servants.
  748.
  749. -BB had kept this card in hand as she had been sent out from the Moon Cell on a one-way ticket to "prevent the True Demon from incarnating". She herself is a copy of the management AI BB on the far side of the moon, to self-destruct once her mission is over. But, well, even the Moon Cell can't get in contact with her once she's over here. So now that she's lost backup from the Moon Cell, she figures she might as well work for humanity on this side. She says that had Melt died together with Kiara, she wouldn't have been able to salvage her data for registration.
  750.
  751. -BB tells Melt that 'she' will disappear here, but her core will be preserved by BB as a cube, to be made a Servant and reused once more as a tool of humanity. In that case, like the Heroic Spirits, Melt will always be summoned as a "new her". The current her will never exist again. Melt is fine with that. She wishes that she could've thanked the two Archers that helped her. Before BB processes her, she asks if Melt has any words to pass on.
  752.
  753. -She has none. She is just an Alter Ego to you. That is fine in itself, because originally the two of you would have never met. You are from a different timeline from the one that found her at the church after all. She is fine with this. Melt says that she has not been fighting to find love, but that she flew away from the lake in order to fall in love.
  754.
  755. -All that BB tells you of Melt's last moments is that Melt asked her to say: "If it is fated, we will meet again." It's a regular cliche. Lip is smiling in tears, saying that it's because Melt was obstinate to the end after all. She apologizes for being so happy that she's crying.
  756.
  757. -Anyway, a Rayshift starts up; you're being sent back to Chaldea now that Operation C.C.C. is over. Cat is sad that she won't get to take a walk with you on the way before she disappears, but it can't be helped. She asks if Suzuka and Robin are going to get wiped from the universe now. Suzuka says of course not, she's just going back to the Throne. She tells you to get in touch with her if you want to see her anytime, but begins to disappear first to her utmost surprise, before she can even exchange contacts with you. Cat bids her Kemono friend and ally in defeating Tamamo-no-Mae farewell. Saying that she'll be going on to Chaldea one step ahead and she'll have a delicious meal prepared for you, Cat disappears too.
  758.
  759. -Robin has nothing particular to say because he didn't come from Chaldea, but he tells you you really did well. He feels like he has to praise his next Master a little bit more now, before vanishing.
  760.
  761. -Lip too has nothing much to say like Robin, she says. Instead, she gives you a kiss. And a hug that pushes you against her breasts. She apologizes for surprising you, saying that Melt told her to do it no matter what, and that she really wanted to do it herself so she worked really hard, all in order to pay you back. You helped her, didn't hate her because she was an Alter-Ego, and also saved Melt. Saying goodbye and that she wants to see you again, Lip also disappears.
  762.
  763. -BB seems quite shocked that Lip is stronger than Melt when it comes to lovey-dovey attacks. Anyway, it's about time for you to go too. BB was not sure what would happen at first but you certainly proved your value. Well, you proved some value, it's not totally zero so it's okay. She'll be sending you back before SE.RA.PH disappears entirely. With Kiara SE.RA.PH's destruction, the Servants imprisoned by Beast III will also be set free. It was really a touch-and-go situation for a while there, since BB says that if you had let Kiara alone the universe would've been in trouble.
  764.
  765. -You say that BB's just as dangerous, but she denies it. BB-chan is always the ally of humanity. That's why, to confine them, and to set up a dystopia, all of that can't be helped. Because it's love towards humanity after all.
  766.
  767. -Then, she tells you all of that is just a warning for hard mode. It won't activate unless humanity on Earth drops below 3%, so don't worry about it. With that, she thanks you for your hard work and sends you back. She still won't call you Senpai, but you've been a pretty good senpai and BB-chan is touched.
  768.
  769. -Back in Chaldea, you go to Da Vinci, who's surprised to see you in the control room even though you're off duty. You ask her about Seraphix, SE.RA.PH, and BB, but she has not heard of the latter two, and Seraphix was shut down at the start of this year. You begin to wonder if it was just a dream. Da Vinci asks if you haven't actually gotten some dodgy medicine from Holmes, and if you're feeling sleepy you should go back to your room and wash your face.
  770.
  771. -On your way back, in the corridors, you bump into BB, who's muttering about Shiva and the other supercomputers in Chaldea being quite something, but still can't bring herself to respect 2017 technology.
  772.
  773. -BB greets you with a smile, saying that she came to visit, and asks if you actually did think it was all a dream. Apparently it was all dealt away with as an imaginary numbers incident. The merciless devilish hand of BB-chan has found a new toy, and will now mercilessly assault her senpai.
  774.
  775. -You ask her if she really does love humanity that much. Of course not, BB says that she hates every single human. But it's not like she really, really hates them, or doesn't want to be around them. After all, it's because she hates humans that she has an urge to bully them.
