Time goes on Ch.03

Time goes on Ch.03 into the darkness

Passing her parents going out the door who where now both awake and having some sort of conversation about trees which Colgate didn't want to get caught up in So she yelled goodbye as she ran out the door into the sunlight. The light and the songs of the birds filled her with happiness. The sun was shining yet again and it felt as if nothing could go wrong.
Two young fillys, a unicorn and a earth pony seen Colgate leaving town and decided to follow her. The unicorn was a vary light shade of blue, yellow eyes and had a white streak going down the side of her mane and tail. She had acquired her cutie mark before most, it was a gold lyre The Filly went by Lyra (it must be a coincidence).
The earth pony was a cream color with a half dark-blue and pink mane and tail set in a Curly style. She had blue eyes and no cutie yet. The fillys name was Bon-bon.
The two where running after Colgate to see what she was up to.
COLGATE! COLGATE! Lyra yelled.
Colgate slowed to a stop and turned around to see who could be yelling at her. Bon-bon and Lyra where just about right behind Colgate by then.
OH, its you guys. Colgate said with a surprised tone. What are you doing over here? don't you two live near the other side of town?
Bon-bon said. Yeah but we where just going to Sweet Apple acres to see if Applejack wanted to play. What are you doing going out of town with that saddle bag?
Lyra said obnoxiously. Are you running away? Bon-bon shoved at Lyra in a attempt to shut her up.
No i'm not running away. Colgate said with a smile. I'm going to the Everfree forest to see where a noise i heard from there came from (if that makes any sense).
You heard a noise in the Everfree forest yesterday and now you going in to see what it is? Bon-bon said.
CAN WE COME! Lyra yelled.
Sure! Colgate said with a happy tone.
Ummm...
I'm going Bon-bon and there's nothing you can do to stop me! Lyra yelled.
Fine, but if it gets to dangerous i'm going to leave without you if i need to.
on the way to the forest Colgate was having a conversation with Lyra about her parents conversation about trees.
once got to the edge of the dark, evil looking forest the girls got nervous.
Come on Colgate, Bon-bon we gotta go in. With a gulp Lyra said. It probably wont be as scary when we get inside...
OK. Colgate and Bon-bon said almost at the same time.
And so begins the adventure into the forest.
