  1. Fiirst Scene Passing Orc Guard into Orc camp
  2. ==========
  3. [23:10] Bralzok moved to the tree resting the paladin Zweihander roughly agaisnt it with a clang as he cracked his back giving a yawn. The day was taking its toll on him. Giving his eye a rub before followed by a low snort he moved to lean him self against the tree now sliding down it. pulling what was left of morning hunt from his belt picking at the raw flesh treating it like beef jerky. his eyes darting lightly about but more in to see any one coming then with caution.
  4.
  5. [23:10] Bralzok Gutcleava (scouttrooper): {{woops.
  6.
  7. [23:12] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): After some traveling, Ga'nna finally arrived on the rumored Black Reach camp. Bracing herself for a bit, she would submerse herself in the bushes, slowly crawling forward and would hope no one notice her. She could see a tall figure in distance, moving toward a tree and sat down. That would be her first challenge of course. For now, she continues to crawl forward.
  8. [23:13] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (rolling on the prowl)
  9. [23:13] [Orius System]: Gwenawa Rain has rolled 2d6 (6) + 3 Dexterity = 9 - On the prowl
  10. [23:13] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Stay hidden or masked til yout next turn.
  11.
  12. [23:17] Bralzok moved to adjust the leathers on his back with a grunt as he smashed his back into tree grumbling about somthing "ugh....this deer terrible.."placing another chunk in his mouth with a loud chunk squishing it between his large yellowing tusk's. "..Ale,that be gud right about now..yee"cracking his neck to one side as he day dreamed lightly about liquor to peek his intrest as he turned his head lightly to the side a rustle in the bush but seeing nothing and being a forest probably just an animal skittering about "....mngh...."he said with indignation, grasping the zweihander as he looked it over a blade clearly not his own, smashing the blade back into the soft soil as it sunk in returning to his relaxing.
  13.
  14. [23:21] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): There a bit bushes movements in distance to the orc's eye followed by some rustling noises. Of course, it is the middle of the day, and the wind is gently breezing over the area thus making it appear quite normal. Ga'nna in the sametime, would raise her head a bit, watching where the orc watching before choosing a path that is behind his field of view. For now, she would continue to move.
  15. [23:21] [Orius System]: Gwenawa Rain has rolled 2d6 (12) + 3 Dexterity = 15 - On the prowl
  16. [23:22] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Stay hidden or masked til yout next turn.
  17.
  18. Stay within Close range of a target, or into a more advantageous position.
  19. [23:25] [Orius System]: Bralzok has rolled 2d6 (7) + 1 Wisdom = 8 - (No Description)
  20.
  21. [23:26] Bralzok moved to raise grasping his sword up, hoisting once more to his side as dirt danced along it blade his eyes scanning along the forest as he tried t pick up anything finding to be just the wind he grumbled before leaning to the tree once more" Bloody win....d"
  22.
  23. [23:27] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Ga'nna would feel her heart skip a bit, causing her to pause in her track. But she almost made it through. After the noise and voice from where the orc sit quiets down, she would continue to move forward.
  24.
  25.
  26. Second Scene Joining The meeting in the forest.
  27. =====================
  28. [23:29] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i wanna, join the scene as the spy, i should roll on the prowl, right ;o?)
  29. [23:29] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ Yus! On the Prowl and then folks do Discern Realities ]]
  30.
  31. [23:31] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Ga'nna would take a bit of rest after getting past the first orc, finding an area with nice shade and bushes that could serve as good cover. She would slowly crawl toward the wall and hope to stay hidden.
  32.
  33. [23:31] [Orius System]: Gwenawa Rain has rolled 2d6 (8) + 3 Dexterity - 1 = 10 - on the prowl
  34. [23:31] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Stay hidden or masked til yout next turn.
  35.
  36. Stay within Close range of a target, or into a more advantageous position.
  37.
  38. [23:32] [Orius System]: Gruok-Qyrok has rolled 2d6 (3) + 1 Wisdom = 4 - Discern Realities
  39. [23:32] [Orius System]: Caledôr Eldenlight has rolled 2d6 (10) + 1 Wisdom = 11 - Discern Realities
  40. [23:32] [Orius System]: Thaldor has rolled 2d6 (7) - 1 Wisdom = 6 - Discern Realities
  41. [23:32] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): Caledor spots]
  42. [23:32] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (it is, everyone on the scene rolls?)
  43. [23:32] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): Correct]
  44. [23:33] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (o,o)
  45. [23:33] [Orius System]: Magg'dan has rolled 2d6 (4) + 3 Wisdom = 7 - Discern Realities
  46. [23:33] Osirus BlackBane (orihsvastusira): [Your character must suspect something or have reason to actively search an area.
  47.
  48. Note: A chance to passively roll Discern Reality is included in some other moves or spells, and when used this way it requires no action.]
  49. [23:33] Osirus BlackBane (orihsvastusira): ((Currently her position, she'd be safe from ya'll, behind the wall..))
  50. [23:34] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ When you choose to "Stay hidden or masked," nearby people have a chance to still spot, hear, or sense something, rolling a Free Discern Realities to potentially know you are there. If they fail they cannot roll another unless you attempt to re-position using On The Prowl (you must do this each time you wish to change locations). New individuals entering the scene get 1 free Discern Realities as well. <--- That's the portion I was referencing. Though yeah, I see what your counterpoint is also. Its a weird one. ]]
  51. [23:34] Gwen (gwenawa.rain) whispers: (because logically, it would be impossible to hide if the 10 people on scene roll discern XD)
  52. [23:35] Osirus BlackBane (orihsvastusira): (facts)
  53. [23:35] [Orius System]: Liluthenwe has rolled 2d6 (6) + 1 Wisdom = 7 - Discern Realities
  54.
  55. [23:35] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (it is interesting to know how it actually works, perhaps we should ask a mod?)
  56. [23:36] Magg'dan (trenton.corvale): ((Whose online? Its my post next, but I failed to spot her regardless if I can so I'll just post as normal...))
  57.
  58. [23:36] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): let me ask)
  59.
  60. [23:37] Magg'dan fixed his blackened eyes first to the lizardman as he spoke. "Ay, ya speak true. Ya silver weapons be appreciated fightin' werewolves, da scourge o'ya woods. We git some our own, but we ain't stupid; we ain't say na ta more. But ain't sayin' ya afore we hear da details. Wha be ya terms?" He'd listen as Caledor picked up where the lizard had left off and completed that thought, and he passively wondering if they'd rehearsed this conversation before arrival. Gruels' interruption seemed to go completely unnoticed to the shaman. It wasn't, he was well aware of every mumbled word and the way the giant slunk off. But that was the best he'd have expected for the fierce warrior, and he was secretly quite proud of him for how he'd acted. At Skargor's grunt, he'd look over and offer the man a resolute nod. "We and I be hearin' ya words, an' thankin' ya fer comin'. But we, Skargor an' Magg'dan neither, ain't speakin' fer tha chiefs. We ain't git ta say ya or na, but we pass et along ta 'dem tha' can. 'Dey be sendin'
  61. [23:37] Magg'dan a messenger goblin when 'dey can, and hopin' we get ya fulfillment afore tha day o' battle. Even if'in we ain't take ya deal, we be glad ya willin' ta deal. We and I knowin' tha' Chief Ogzak ain't wantin' ta be warrin' with ya, we only git eyes fer da bitch queen o'da drow."
  62.
  63. [23:37] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): Caledor is asking now :D ))
  64.
  65. [23:39] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): Sorry, just a quick chat spam so we all know what's up: ]]
  66.
  67. [23:39] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [23:37] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (Reignier Avon): Hey! A quick question as something just cropped up. A spy entered the RP scene and passed her On the Prowl (handling it all properly). Players in the scene then rolled their Free Discern Reality rolls, and one of them rolled high enough to spot her (They rolled an 11). She is behind a wall, so how does that player proceed? Would they just be heard then?
  68. [23:37] Vabre Resident: (busy response): Hello there! If you’re reading this and need assistance in Orius, please see the website link here: https://www.talesoforius.com/. If the answer you seek isn’t there, no mod is around or need owners intervention, please give me a moment to respond!
  69. [23:38] Vabre Resident: Yeah, they'd basically just have heard them on the other side. So no clue who or what yet.
  70. [23:39] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (Reignier Avon): Okay, thanks very much!
  71.
  72. [23:40] [Orius System]: Skargor Skullsplitter has rolled 2d6 (11) + 1 Wisdom = 12 - Discern Realtieis cause he didn't yet.
  73.
  74.
  75. [23:48] Gruok-Qyrok halted the raptor as it became anxious from idle stance. As he patted the back of the ebony-clad beast, he spoke aloud. "This will be remembered, then. Vaok kot Krok. There is no time to delay, as silver killers need made quickly." With more lizard-like sounds echoing through his animalistic throat, he looked amongst the other Court members. Eyes dilating with a rage as they continued to speak to eons-old enemies, and yet it was not for raiding. "I will not say I like your kind, Maggu-Don. My cold blood runs warm with thoughts of allowing your death, but your words were truthful in previous moon-sky. You look to fight common enemy. To make this clear -- we will not allow our own to fight. The Fucien Alliance will not fall in battle alongside dirt-skin, but silver killers will be offered when needed, and perhaps --- in the future. We will look to be on speaking terms." As his lizard-like head craned towards the trio beside him, he spoke aloud. "I will be your messenger. Vaokk Tokrok. Further speech after
  76.
  77. [23:48] Gruok-Qyrok this action will be relayed to me, and I will relay to Court. Preferably by goblin messenger, Maggu-Don, or Warchief himself." With muscles tightening with increased predatory instincts looking to sate a bloodlust, he tried his dearest to hold back his pride. "I do not ask for deal. You will do this or you will not. You will receive silver or you will not. You will break down those walls, or you will not. Caokt TORKok. Action will provide evidence. Once more -- be quick with answer. And if you decide otherwise -- We still offer support of your battle. I wish to see many crag-spawn scalps upon your belt and head. I wish to see their lips salted, and eaten like fruit. And I wish for you to be successful." As greusome as his words were, he could at least offer the same expression on their own primal nature. Their need to survive, and reclaim their home. It was the only respect he could muster for one of the reptile's enemies.
  78.
  79. [23:48] Korthix smelled a stench of elves. It was easy to catch, with their putrid smell of soaps and the use of bath water. Blech, these wretched creatures with all their symmetrical adornments. He moved behind the wall, eaves dropping on the elves and orcs, curious of what this crowd was up to.
  80.
  81. [23:57] Thaldor watched as the large Orc excused himself from the discussion. His Cyan-eyes danced over the monster of an Orc for a moment before his attention returned to Magg'dan. His eyes continued to narrow themselves down onto the creature - struggling to listen to the garbled speech. <"Such harsh noises."> He muttered to himself - quite easy for his companions to hear. The deal was offered - and delayed for further consideration. A small bow of his head would be given as the Prime-Blood spoke of becoming the official relay between messages. His nose raised again - peering down to the two. "There is yet much ground to cover before your success is possible. You likely march to your deaths." Thaldor advised before falling silent as the two continued to converse. Seeing as this was to be pushed back closer to the battle - Thaldor would offer his reins a small pull- turning his steed off to the side while glancing down at the two on the ground. "Good luck." He called over - practically speaking through clenched teeth. H
  82. [23:57] Thaldor was asked to hold his thoughts by his colleagues - and he did as such. As best as he could anyways.
  83. [23:57] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): He*]
  84.
  85. [00:03] Liluthenwe kept her attention on the conversation with an intense gaze to the Orcs before them, all the while her body remained tense and uneasy while being within questionable territory. With one departing to scowl in the background behind the fallen ruin walls, the Gladespeaker looked to Caledor while straddled behind him and whispered softly. <"It is common and distasteful to see, I assure you it is only but a waste of time to linger on the thought..."> she spoke before falling silent as the conversation continued. Glancing down to Voronwer, his keen hues wandered around; nostrils flaring to take in the mixture of scents and kept on high alert. Turning now to Thaldor to tow in after the exchange of the Prime-Blood and Orc, her hand eased away from the hilt of her elven dagger to reclaim the Loremaster's waist as things were wrapping up.
  86. [00:04] Korthix skittered away as if he was some dumb spider. He moved to the cauldrons to warm his hands by the fire.
  87. [00:05] Caledor Eldenlight continued to sit and listen to the exchange between themselves and the Orcish tribe, remaining on high alert, courtesy of the precarious situation. Tensions were high, and stakes were higher still. As such, an edge of paranoia had crept its way through the Loremaster's frame, keeping him rigid tense throughout the course of their interactions. There was no trust for the Orcs; little love lost between their peoples, despite a mutual enemy. As such, when a sudden rustling was heard by Caledor behind the tumbledown ruins, the elven rider shot his glare toward the unseen source of noise, "Shhhh!" he hissed aloud to the assembly, "What was -that-?!" A subtle dip of his head was paid in the vague direction of the Drowish spy, "How many more of your Orcs are out there, skulking about?" he asked of the group. "Whichever one lurks in that corner had better come forth and into the light. We've treated with your kind without the use of spies in the shadows." Evidently, the distrustful Loremaster appeared to be assum
  88. [00:05] Caledor Eldenlight an Orc or Goblin was prowling about. To Liluthenwe, he paid a subtle scowl, <"That is -not- common,"> he bit back, mildly annoyed as his pride was prickled with an indignant edge. <"Nor will we allow it to be.">
  89. [00:05] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ *to be assuming an Orc or.. etc. ]]
  90.
  91. [00:08] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (do i post?)
  92.
  93. [00:09] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (or waiting for others)
  94.
  95. [00:12] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito) kept his big ugly mouth shut as well he didn't have much to add or say to the dealings, Magg'dan had that covered and he was the man that started it and Ogzak joined him in that little adventure.. Skargor didn't really know any of the details, only that it was happening and they were talking.. The large green brute pretty much just stood there with that ax on his shoulder ready to defend the Shaman should the need arise, but in his state of readiness for what the elves might bring he caught the scent of the approaching drow on the wind.. That nose of his twitching and shifting and those golden eyes widen about the same time that the elf calls out the rustling sounds, that large brute let out a growling stomp of his boot as he turned and started to lumber back toward those vine and through them peering in the direction.. " That no greenskin.. " He would growl back toward the others and he started to lumber his way toward the drow with that grip on his ax tightening, those golden orbs scanning the
  96. [00:12] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito): area that the scent had come from and the rustle of plant life that the Elf had called out..
  97. .
  98. [00:18] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): As a spy, Ga'nna was trained in various technique for diversion and distraction. Hearing the voice calling out to her as well as the orc chief making way toward her, she would result to a simple solution, animal call. Her brain quickly search through her memory bank to recall the common species in this area, trying to do determine what might be the most believable animal to imitate from. Her body would lay flat, nearly invisible unless the spotters are meters away. Ga'nna would take a deep breath, puffing her throat and cheek before letting out some noise in sequence. "Purreeeeek........Purrreeeek......" it is a common frog mating call. As such, her hand would pick up a small pebble, tossing it away from her position and tries to have the pebble to imitate the frog is hopping away. (gonna roll another on the prowl)
  99. [00:18] [Orius System]: Gwenawa Rain has rolled 2d6 (10) + 3 Dexterity - 1 = 12 - On the prowl
  100.
  101. [00:19] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Stay hidden or masked til yout next turn.
  102. [00:19] Magg'dan set a firm gaze upon the lizardman and gave him a firmer yet nod. "Ain't ask ya ta like me or mine none. We jus' ask ya ta wha best fer ya kin, whichin' is wha' is best fer mine kin when ya talkin' drow." Magg'dan couldn't say he enjoyed treating with the elves, but he could respect some elements of their position: they weren't going to throw their lives aside for his sake, but they'd certainly benefit if the greenskins won. They sought to strike a balance then. "Salt? Dun' know about tha, but we gun' water plenty o'da earth wit' drow blood, don't ya worry." His gaze flicked between the other assembled elves and considered them each as he did. At the good luck issued by Thaldor, he looked quite surprised but took it as well as you'd expect; a snort and a light roll of his shoulders. "Ain't luck, 'et be tha will o'da ancesto-..." His words trailed off as both Caledor and Skargor took note of an unexpected guest, which had gone completely out of Magg'dan's notice. He turned around to face the portal that he
  103. [00:19] Magg'dan come from and nudged his staff. "Plenty o' goblin and orc an trolls walkin' about tha' way, but if'in Skargor git a sense 'et ain't a green... we git 'em fer ya."
  104. [00:19] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Nearby people take -1 Forward to Discern Realities to find you.
  105.
  106. [00:19] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): [[If you've already been spotted - you can't do On the Prowl again.]]
  107. [00:19] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): ( i thought been spotted and been suspected is different?)
  108. [00:20] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): [• On a 11+, you manage to spot anything or anyone hidden or disguised in the area, or at least know they are present if the target is invisible. You also are aware if anything nearby is an illusion.]
  109. [00:20] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [23:38] Vabre Resident: Yeah, they'd basically just have heard them on the other side. So no clue who or what yet.
  110. [00:21] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): [[The Orc is literally next to you - and he passed the check.]]
  111. [00:21] Gruel the Cruel draw great axe
  112. [00:22] Korthix seeing Skargor drawing his axe, he hopped up and down, clapping his hands with excitement.
  113.
  114.
  115. [00:25] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (here is how i understand it as it is though. I passed the on the prowl check both times with high roll even through the -1 discern reality from the previous orc, as vabre states, you guys heard noise but have no clue what or who it is. It could be wind, animal, or anything. So to be fair, I think i am at least allowed to try a second on the prowl check to remain hiden. Otherwise, the way system sets up really have no room for any spy rp because the odds is impossible to stay hidden)
  116.
  117. [00:28] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): Unfortunately, saying you should 'at least' be allowed isn't an option as you only get one time to go On the Prowl. ))
  118. [00:28] Thαldôr Eldєnlíght (colby.radek): Exactly.]
  119. [00:28] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i wasn't spotted in the first place)
  120. [00:28] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ Two characters located you though. ]]
  121. [00:29] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [00:20] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [23:38] Vabre Resident: Yeah, they'd basically just have heard them on the other side. So no clue who or what yet.
  122. [00:29] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): this is his direct quote
  123. [00:29] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): You were probably better off trying to Flee. ))
  124. [00:29] As the sound was investigated by the orc, Gruok-Qyrok looked back to Magg'dan. "Then that will be it. Vaok orkto. We await word.>" He felt an ease in his cold body, to finally begin to feel free of the orcs' presence. They reminded him of a primal need to hunt, and employ traditions of an apex predator. To lose sight of them, meant to rekindle his brain's attempt at establishing rationality. Something his mind was not completely capable of doing, whether or not he sat on the council. With goldenrod eyes to Caledor, Thaldor, and Liluthenwe, he only gave a nod in acknowledgement to begin riding back towards the Ayre. As he clicked talon against stomach of giant beast, he reigned it in quickly to look back at Magg'dan. The same showing of his scaled neck in the presence of him. A high vode of respect amongst the Lizardfolk. A way to say that he did not expect them to slit his throat. At least... For this one day. "May your head lay upon shoulder unmolested the next sun-sky, Maggu-Don." And thus, did the
  125. [00:29] Prime-Blood continue his ride back home unless stopped.
  126. [00:29] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito): you were.. the successful dice rolls equal spotting even if the RP doesnt say we specifically see you ))
  127. [00:29] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ I do agree that its difficult to spy in its current iteration of the rules, and I'd never refute you on that. Though as it stands, Discern Reality is what puts a stop to On The Prowl. If someone rolls high enough, the jig is essentially up. ]]
  128. [00:29] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): Yeah, you heard something on the other side, instinct will make you want to check it out; especially in a situation like this. ))
  129. [00:30] Oxygen Flux: minus the > in my post.
  130. [00:30] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ Otherwise, what's to stop an endless cycle of reapplying On The Prowl? ]]
  131.
  132. [00:30] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (why dont we get a staff in to pass judgement, i will respect their solution)
  133. [00:31] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (because, it is a problem not to this particular, but to rp in the sim as whole)
  134. [00:31] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i am sure this could serve as a precedent for future player who is interested in doing spy work)
  135. .
  136. [00:31] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): But we..followed the rule of how the Rolls work tho x.x ))
  137.
  138. [00:31] Thaldor continued turning his steed until its back was turned to the Orcs. Something quite bold - considering where they were. A small whip from his reins would signal his departure. His player - hops off for bed.
  139.
  140. [00:31] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i think the rule wasn't prepared for this situation)
  141. [00:33] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (if possible, i guess we can get vabre in and see how he likes to see this scenario plays out)
  142. [00:33] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): He is Offline, trying to see if anyone else is on ))
  143. [00:34] Ino peered back through the vines, watching intently though staying out of sight. She'd already been shoved. She did not particularly need to be on the end of any violence. It had been a while since she'd seen any other high elves. Even if she had to stay over here....she was happy getting to look at other elves.
  144. [00:37] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): There's no Mods on at the moment unfortunately. The only other option, which I hate to suggest; is voiding that you were here and heard nothing. Cause it's quite a big number of folks here, who share the same response to your attempt. ))
  145.
  146. [00:41] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i gound a mod, sec)
  147. [00:41] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (pandapantsu)
  148.
  149. [00:49] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): So, I was playing a spy trying to spy on the black reach orc and the elf's conversation. As I entered the scene, I rp'ed with a orc, pass on the prowl check and passed through entrance into the camp toward the group where the conversation is taking place. I joined the scene, passing a second on the prowl check which i choose to stay hidden and move to advantageous position so I can eaves drop. THen, all the 8 players on the scene begin to make discern reality roll. With odds stacked against me,, they eventually rolled high enough to pass the discern reality check. We asked Vabre what we should do and vabre's response is this [00:20] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [23:38] Vabre Resident: Yeah, they'd basically just have heard them on the other side. 324. [01:35] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [01:08] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [00:18] [Orius System]: Gwenawa Rain has rolled 2d6 (10) + 3 Dexterity - 1 = 12 - On the prowl
  325. [01:36] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): You do not get a second Roll
  326. [01:36] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito): caledor got 11 and I got a 12 on our discern realities ))
  327. [01:36] Magg'dan (trenton.corvale): ((She has taken an interpretation of a word from an offline admin's statement, but that word could be taken in other ways. I disagree that "suspected" does not include alerting a paranoid person in an illicit secret meeting that there is an uninvited presence. We would also check it out regardless, even if it was a goblin which was the initial suspicion, because nobody should be listening in.))
  328. [01:36] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito): he called out a sound I called out a smell and I stompped over to look at where it came from ))
  329.
  330. [01:36] Hᴀʀᴛ (omen.zero): [[The discern reality on the website is pretty clear. • On a 11+, you manage to spot anything or anyone hidden or disguised in the area. Two people rolled that high. One on either side of the wall you were standing at. There is also no opposed check, its not whoever rolls highest, its sequential. You go invisible. Someone discerns you, you are seen]
  331. [01:37] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i was behind a wall when discern is rolled, you cant spot me directly but hear me)
  332. [01:37] Magg'dan (trenton.corvale): ((Hart is correct: you were successfully in stealth. Someone successfully detected you.))
  333. [01:37] King Fisher (I agree with what hart stated, that is exactly what I was thinking 1 for 1 - However, someone mentioned you being behind a wall? or such? On fairness terms it would probably give a bit of time for an escape I would presume)
  334. [01:37] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito): but in the terms of the system.. you are spotted cause we passed the rolls ))
  335.
  336. [01:38] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): yeah thats what i told them.
  337. [01:38] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): she should try an escape roll.
  338. [01:38] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (so how would I try to escape, make second on the prowl check?)
  339. [01:38] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito): I have no problem with her trying to roll flee.. no one did.. she wanted to roll on the prowl again ))
  340. [01:38] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ And Caledor heard, and Skargor smelled something off. We couldn't see, but our Discern Realities rolled high enough to detect via other senses. Orcs smell scents, and elves listen with pointy ears, so we interpreted your discovery (courtesy of our Discern Realities) through use of those senses. ]]
  341. [01:38] Magg'dan (trenton.corvale): ((I agree that fleeing makes sense for her to do, but she posted attempted to subterfuge in the bushes. Skargor went to investigate. Magg'dan stood still, out of respect for the fact that I failed the roll even though my comrade has alerted me to the noise.))
  342. [01:39] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): so this is what i did
  343. [01:39] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ To escape, you would want to roll to flee. ]]
  344. [01:39] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [01:09] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): [00:18] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): As a spy, Ga'nna was trained in various technique for diversion and distraction.
  345.
  346. [01:39] Hᴀʀᴛ (omen.zero): Flee
  347.
  348. Standard Move
  349. You attempt to escape a fight; roll 2d6. If it is your first turn, or if you have attempted to Flee every turn in the encounter you are able, take +2 to this roll. If you were outnumbered in the encounter (downed allies/enemies, or ones that have already fled are still counted) take +2 to this roll.
  350.
  351. The above bonuses do not apply if you are perpetrating a crime or hostile action (poisoning, theft, spying) and the attack is in response to this.
  352. [01:39] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (i tried to use animal call and pebble tossing to deter them from me)
  353. [01:40] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (thus to relief their suspicion and make them think it is just a frog)
  354. [01:40] Hᴀʀᴛ (omen.zero): ((There is no distract mechanic within the system))
  355. [01:40] Magg'dan (trenton.corvale): ((What's the damage roll for a pebble? Does she roll volley with DEX?))
  356. [01:40] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): which is why i rolled my second on the prowl check
  357. [01:40] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): that seems valid to me honestly.
  358. [01:40] Cαlєdôr Eldєnlíght (reignier.avon): [[ Discern Realities cancels out further attempts at On The Prowl. It wouldn't work as two people are alerted to something's presence and are en route to investigate. This is where a Flee roll comes into play. ]]
  359. [01:40] King Fisher (Okay decision is, the hidden individual's presence is known to an extent - however, they are given time to escape. Whether they seize the opportunity to escape is up to Gwen's character. If you wish to RP using your thieves honed abilities to throw them off your track so you can escape, that is up to you. But as far as I can see it. They passed a discern reality roll - and the website clearly says they are aware of a presence. Anything else all?)
  360. [01:41] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): i think we are good. i can stay to moderate the rp or if yall think this is good i can go?
  361. [01:42] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): Thank you King ❤
  362. [01:42] Magg'dan (trenton.corvale): ((Thanks King!))
  363. [01:42] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): Thank you Panda

  365. [01:43] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): just doing my job <3

  367. [01:43] King Fisher (I was mid taking a poop when this happened)
  368. [01:43] King Fisher (Okay have fun guys)
  369. [01:43] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): lol
  370. [01:43] Hᴀʀᴛ (omen.zero): ((How dare you have human bodily functions))
  371. [01:43] Pandapantsu (pandapantsuu): im sorry XD
  372. [01:43] Líluthєnwє Grαcєwínd (saphire.yalin): LMAO
  373. [01:43] Caledor Eldenlight seemed surprised as Skargor made mention of there being no Orcish spies present, even going so far as to investigate the matter himself. With narrowed eyes, the Loremaster cast a sideways glance toward Liluthenwe, offering her a subtle dip of his head, <"Go on,"> he coaxed of her, <"Keep with the others.."> Once she'd dismounted from his steed, the rider spurred his mount forward, approaching the ruined wall from the adjacent flank, while gently rolling his wrist in a steady motion, loosening up his fingers with another flex. "Let us see what manner of creature this is, if not an Orc or Goblin..." Clearing his throat, Caledor called down to the bush, "If you speak the Common tongue, you will know I am mere seconds from searing the flesh off your bones." There, that was courteous enough, was it not? Should it prove to be some mere fox, or badger? Well... He would make a roasted haunch of it and present the carcass as a medium-rare gift to the Orcish warband. They would need their strength for the fight on
  374. [01:43] Caledor Eldenlight morrow.
  375. [01:43] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): (so, i will come back to the wall and try to flee then )

  377. [01:45] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Ga'nna would hear the orc coming up to her. "Tsk...damn orcs...." she mutters before getting up and would tries to dash away.

  381. [01:48] Liluthenwe would hop off the horse as Caledor suggested so, her gaze traveled to the Loremaster to see him go investigate onward and stood with the others. Resting a hand onto Voronwer's head, the Gladespeaker kept a keen eye on her surrounds; paranoia clearly on her mind.

" Drow!" he would grunt toward the direction of the elf that came around the wall from the other side.. That large lumbering figure would stomp his way over the rest of the way with out any hesitation bringing that ax up into the air and swinging it down upon the drow spy.. 407. [01:59] [Orius System]: Gwenawa Rain is at 24/27 health.
  408. [02:00] Caledor Eldenlight kept his gaze upon the bushes, softly murmuring an incantation under his breath. "Nólemë sairina ruinë!" Whatever lay within the bushes knew; the Orcs knew. He had given ample warning of what was to come. With a sudden rustle before him, the Loremaster watched as a dusky skinned figure burst from the bushes, leering at the sight of the woman swathed in dark garments. "Seize her!" he hissed, finishing his incantation with a thrust of his palm, aiming toward the back of the woman in full retreat while attempting to avoid hitting the Orcish warrior that'd thundered after her. Spying the opportunity that the great brute had presented him, Caledor's gouting fires erupted like a volcano from his caged fingers; spewing an inferno of heat toward the hated foe of the elves. [Fireball]

  413. [02:01] Liluthenwe hearing the shout of a Drow the Gladespeaker reached for her bow to grip tightly within her hand, an arrow in place with the other; she'd stance in place. "Voronwer al'e vesk'o ey." she would instruct to keep the Beast companion on the look out. If there was one Drow, perhaps more may show up? Her gaze wandered about the area with Voronwer who kept guard.
  414.
  415. [02:02] Magg'dan hadn't clued into what was happening as Skargor disappeared around the wall to investigate. Shortly afterwards the elves would likewise. Magg'dan scratched his head, looking back at the lizardman's back as he disappeared headed towards the elf woods. "Uh..." That's when the fireball exploded accompanied by the sound of fearsome elven spell words. "...Oh!" He'd move through the portal, using his shield to push the vines aside and would inch closer to observe what the hell they were attacking.
  416. [02:04] Gwen (gwenawa.rain): Ga'nna would get up, catching an axe by her back. The blade easily cut through her tunic sinking into her flesh. The drow grunted her teeth in pain, stutter forward and nearly falls down before getting back onto her feet to dash toward the tree. Then, an explosion occurred, scorching part of her her body. as she was blown several feet away while her body roll along the floor. Muttering in pain, the drow gets up once again and begin to scale the tree. Seems as she is trying to leap over to the cliff shall she climb enough.

  422. [02:08] Skargor Skullsplitter (aiden.diabolito) snarls in frustration as the nimble little drow scurried up the wall and then to the other side.. The large brute started to look around and attempt to figure out where the darkskinned knife ear went, those heavy boots thudding the soil and plants below him and he would roar out in anger..
  423. [02:08] [Orius Initiative]: Skargor Skullsplitter has ended their turn. Caledôr Eldenlight it is now your turn.
  424. [02:09] Caledor Eldenlight galloped forth toward the back of the Drow he'd struck, watching as she took a tumble toward the trees in a gout of fire. "Die, wretch!" he spat. Seldom did the elves stir to such fury, yet the ancient foe kindled a wrath like no other. Already, he began to speak another litany of hate fueled sorceries, his voice stirring louder as adrenaline coursed through his veins, "Nólemë sairina ru--" As he began to chant, Caledor could only watch as the Drow leaped up and into the tree, proving swifter than his Orcish ally. Alas, talented though the elven steeds were (and likely to win at any thoroughbred contest in the lands!) they had not yet mastered the art of climbing trees. Sat atop his saddle, the Loremaster was left to fume as the dark shadow of the Drow agent's back slipped off over the side of the cliffs. Where she had skulked off to was anyone's guess. One thing was no certain however -- the Underdark would know of this unlikely cooperation. "Damn her eyes!" he spat, clenching his fist to quench the fi
