While listening to this explanation, they also meet crown prince Maletizio Pryderi, the father of Emil and Kaoru Pryderi.
[16:13] <~DarkSunDuelist> While this is happening, Team ERJC has been tasked with slaying some of the larger beasts, a trio of birds with clouds for skin and tornadoes for flesh.
[16:15] <~DarkSunDuelist> After they slay the birds, they returned to the capital to discover another hunter waiting for them with a new task: To protect Maletizio from an assassination attempt. Questioning the validity of these orders, team ERJC learned that there is much more to the world than they could know, and with the new information, decided to carry out their orders.
[16:16] <~DarkSunDuelist> Meanwhile, Ambrosine experiences extreme bouts of delirium as she cavorts around the royal palace with Emil and Kaoru.
[16:17] <~DarkSunDuelist> These delerious episodes climax when she attacks an assassin trying to kill her, only to instead be tricked into mauling one of the princesses of the throne! Unsurprisingly, she is thrown into a dungeon, where she rots for a few hours.

[16:19] <~DarkSunDuelist> STCS flits about the carnival with a pair of hunters, where they encounter a troupe of Angels in a carnival, with a giant lizard-like monster in training there. After the situation calms down, they are alerted that Professor Eugene is going to also be assassinated that day, and decide to go rescue him.
[16:20] <~DarkSunDuelist> ERJC catches up to Maletizio, who is now at a bullfighter's arena, where he is attacked by the Acrobatic Angels. While they thwarted the attack, Maletizio is still wounded, and he retreats to the palace to be healed.
[16:21] <~DarkSunDuelist> After a daring escape thanks to Emil and Kaoru, as well as another group of hunters, Ambrosine escapes the clutches of Doctor Pierre, the man who has been mass-producing the creatures.
[16:22] <~DarkSunDuelist> Leaving a severely-injured Pierre behind, Ambrosine, Kaoru, and Emil escape the facility and run into the Palace, only to come face-to-face with the wounded Maletizio.
[16:23] <~DarkSunDuelist> Maletizio reveals that it was him that killed Ambrosine's family, and tried to kill her, as well. Before they can catch him monologuing, Maletizio blasts the trio out of the 7th-floor window and into the street below.
[16:23] <~DarkSunDuelist> STCS is too late, and Professor Eugene is more or less dead on arrival. They give chase to the myserious forgettable assassin, who is running towards the palace.
[16:24] <~DarkSunDuelist> The angels fly away from ERJC, who is giving chase.
[16:24] <~DarkSunDuelist> We set the scene with the two groups meeting, and Ambrosine, Kaoru, and Emil falling on the angels, knocking out of the air.

[16:26] <~DarkSunDuelist> The seven of you land very unceremoniously on the ground.
[16:27] <~DarkSunDuelist> Having a thick layer of feathers, wings, and people between you and the ground, the three of you suffer no damage, while the angels take quite the blow.
