  5. >Trees and houses blur around him, cold rain lashed his face. The little boy ran down the long street, breathing heavily. It drove him faster and faster and everything around him seemed forgotten. He ran faster and seemed to fly.
  6. >Cold rain ran down his little face as he triped over the sidewalk.
  7.
  8. >"Lincoln Loud to the principals office!" It was a rainy Thursday. Lincoln joked with his friends and they gave their game formations new funny names. The rusty metallic announcement sounded again from his school's old intercom. "Lincoln Loud to the principals office, please come immediatly!"
  9. >"Ohhh, someone's getting in trouble." Lincoln glared at Rusty. "Oh, Lincoln would never get in trouble." A small black boy named Clyde pulled himself up by the table edge to look taller to Rusty."It's probably just a mistake anyway."
  10.
  11. >The faster he ran, the more rain hit his face. Tears ran down the little boy's face, wich mixed immediately with the rain leaving only his red eyes visible. At the end of the street blinking lights flooded the neighborhood with blue and red light.
  12.
  13. >Lincoln felt strange. All eyes seemed to be on him. It was not uncommon to be called to the director. Whispering followed him as he walked across the squeaky Linolium floor down the hall.
  14. >What was going on with his classmates?
  15. >Lincoln was walking a little faster now. His thoughts were racing. Did someone try to do a stupid trick on him? Was his locker broken open and his diary stolen?
  16. >Lincoln stopped, the rain roared loudly as it hit the asphalt, he looked up into the black clouded sky and started to cry terribly.
  17. >His house was now only a few meters ahead of him. Police cars and ambulances were crisscrossing the street and there was a large crowd.
  18. >Some tensioners were muttering around his house, some people were crying, others were in shock and looked at the entrance door. Paramedics and policemen ran around frantically, screaming, talking, orders were shouted. The noise must have been unbearable, but Lincoln heard nothing. He slowly came closer to his house. Without a word, he pushed the passersby aside, his eyes fixed on the door.
  19. >The door to the principal's office. He slowly reached out to turn the door handle. He paused briefly and considered again what he could possibly have done. Suddenly the door opened. The somewhat plump secretary stood before him, tears in her eyes.
  20. >"L-Lincoln .. you, you ... the director is waiting." She quickly turned away and Lincoln heard a short sob.
  21.
  22. >The crowd in front of his house was getting denser. The little boy could hardly find his way through.
  23. >Some tried to stop him and grabbed his arm or shouted after him.
  24. >The noise became unbearable. Sirens, announcements via microphones and the loud woe of passersby now drowned out his thoughts.
  25.
  26. >"Lincoln ... what happened is not your fault"
  27. >The principal pressed his hand on Lincoln's shoulder. The little boy's eyes tear. "No, no that can't be true." Lincoln broke free of his grip and ran out the door. He ran faster and faster along the great hall. More and more tears flowed. He ran past students and teachers until he shot out in the rain.
  28.
  29. >There were a few packages in front of his house, they looked human and had pulled a zip up.
  30. >He recognized Luna's bloodstained face in a package that was still open.
  31. >His eyes went back to the entrance. There she was.
  32. >Her cold laugh, the one he had had to endure for years, got into his ear.
  33. >One of the packages was barely bigger than a dog, but it wasn't one.
  34. >Luan's cold grin, her blood-smeared grin, which she threw at him when the police handcuffed her out of the house. She seemed to be following his gaze. She shaped her lips into his "O" and tossed him a kiss. Everything started to spin. Black ensnared him. The last thing he felt was the soft grass his head hit.
