Due the the ephemerality that is a central feature of 4chan, efforts have been made to preserve the website’s literary canon in alternative online spaces. The /mlp/ (pony) board is home to a community dedicated to writing my little pony fan-fiction, featuring ponies being enslaved and variously abused by their human masters, with more or less explicit sexual undertones. Each new slave pony thread features a sticky linking to a pastebin where popular past stories can be found. The community thus archives and curates the slave-pony canon away from 4chan while still identifying 4chan as its natural home.
