Where do I even begin with this moose-lookin ass… let me start by giving you the acknowledgement I know you’ve been CRAVING, which is that yes, this guy right here is one of the reasons why this server started in the very beginning. Thanks to your hard work planning the meet-up last year, many of us have incredibly fond memories of that time and set us off on this journey through KCON together. My inspiration for planning the meet-ups this year was to replicate that same experience because it was so impactful to me. I wanted others to have that same experience that I did. I don’t know how much I succeeded in achieving that goal, but I like to think I got pretty close at least. Thank you for being that inspiration. As you mentioned in your posts, you went through rough periods in the server and irl. Even when you were seriously debating on whether you should go or not, I told you to hang on cuz it was gonna be so much fun. KCON NY was insane with the boys + flash mob. KCON LA I fkin TOLD you dinner would be fun. Trust in the oppa guarantee, baby. Also thank Southwest for delaying Ace and Sabb’s flight (pfff). Man, KCON LA was actually unreal though. Aside from your fromis interactions, I’ve never seen you look as happy as you did at the Friday meet-up. I also go to do many things, like greeting artists at the airport, that I’ve always wanted to do. The jerseys? Too clean. Thinking about all the things we should try next year makes me so fkin excited for July to come again and I’m already dreading the months of waiting. The only thing that will keep me going until then is the memory of this past summer, so thanks for being a big part of that.

Sabrina Baby Bear. 지우 손. Best dongsaeng. After all these months, we finally met!!! Our first meeting was kinda awk and didn’t really get to do a proper :chuuerryhug: cuz I was wasted out of my mind, but still!! That’s crazy. First off, thank you for all you’ve done for this community. You brought, and continue to bring, a lot of people with you and you’ve done a lot to show love and attention to people here so they want to keep coming back. This server would not look the same if you had not been here. Your insane connections helped us get Robyul immediately, you’ve had a lot of input on the server structure and operations, and like I said, you’ve brought a lot of awesome people here. In fact, I’m pretty sure there are several people here who are only active here because of you, which is a huge compliment and something you should be proud of. Specifically for LA, everyone should be giving you a round of applause for being a key member of KEPT. If it wasn’t for you, it would’ve been a lot harder to plan and especially the sat/sun plans would’ve been soooo bad lol. Another big thank you for getting me all those freebies. I LOVE the jersey (shout-out to Dan) and the unofficial loona lightstick so much and they definitely improved my KCON experience by a LOT. Lastly, despite hitting some rough patches, thanks for coming back to us every time. As a fellow Korean, I can empathize with many of your frustrations. I think you’ve gotten better at being more open about those concerns, especially the ones concerning people here, and I respect the maturity to know when you need to just drop everything and step back. Before you react to anything, always remember to take a breath first and think before you commit to anything. And of course, remember that I’ll always be here to listen and help as well. I don’t know if I ever told you, but I actually do remember you from LA last year, albeit it’s a short memory of you just walking past our table at dinner. Short memory… but TALL boy. Though we talked here and there cuz we were :EZ: squad with Nose, we didn’t really become close until we became 3-for-3 gang, starting with KCON NY. And our Twice trip? Bruh. I’ll never forget that 2am solo mission to Walgreens. Or that time we both went and neo’d so hard at that cashier guy (pffffff). Somehow we always experience the most neo moments together… never forget that Uber ride with Sonia omg #blackdontcrack #asiansdontraisin #OHBUTWHITEDOESCRACKTHO . LA just hit different with you… as soon as I saw they didn’t check IDs at dinner, I knew we were gonna be wildin. Then the surprise birthday party and the fake argument that JP and I had (pffff). Gotcha good! I don’t remember much from Sunday but I do think you need to be acknowledged for staying up with the people taking early morning flights cuz that’s some nutty dedication to your friends. Our Monday adventures with Paul is also something that I’ll never forget. You have no idea how much I wanted to explore LA and I’m so thankful that I was able to share that memory, and store those into pictures, with you guys. Lastly, thank you for opening up about your past and current struggles. Remember you are not alone in those struggles. So many people today are facing those exact same issues and have those exact same questions about their future. But everyone gets through it one day. I’ll even pull out the oppa guarantee and say that you WILL reach that top one day and look down proudly at all you’ve accomplished. Easiest guarantee of my life cuz I can see your future is already looking so bright and promising. Just keep on trucking on and whenever you have questions or concerns, I’m always here to listen.

Mr. Sana’s Pillow… du-hello. Never forget when I first met you at the dinner last year, asking what your name was (Voltix) and then I said ohh you’re sana’s pillow (pfff) and you laughed sheepishly. You kind of had a track record with toxicity during the early days of this server, but the way you went a month sober and started turning things around was crazy. Making any sort of change is hard to do, especially something drastic like that, so I just wanted to say how proud I am of you and how far you’ve come. We’ve had a lot of good times in the server and through league too. You’re actually one of my fav people to vc with cuz you’re one of the very few people that laugh at the stupid shit I say. KCON wouldn’t have been the same without you either… finally saw drunktix live and caught a glimpse of stonedtix as well. Thanks for helping out with KEPT, as well as your contributions as a mod here. You’re always very responsive to my musings and it helps a lot to have people to bounce ideas off of and also to vent to sometimes. Your presence is greatly appreciated and I hope to continue wilding out with you next year.

By the time you read this, you’ll probably be in China. My baby boy all grown up… I’m so proud of you. I’ve told this story a few times now but remember when you first joined and I was so excited to see someone I recognized from twicecord. I said hiii and you’re like wtf who r u lol… I’ll never forget the shame and embarrassment that I felt in that moment. But since then, we’ve gotten a lot closer, and then finally met up in Toronto for the first time. How crazy is that though, like you’re some high school kid… meeting up with strangers you met online… in fkin Toronto. Despite having seen you then, seeing you again in NY was just as exciting as the first time. I’m so glad you convinced (read: guilt-tripped) me into going to KCON. I definitely would’ve had big regrets about not going cuz the memories we made with the squad and then with fromis changed me forever lol. I’m still bummed that you couldn’t come to LA. I’m sure you feel worse about it but just remember this isn’t the last or only time that you’ll hang out with us or to see your fav groups. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had better experiences than us from now on cuz you’re so close to Korea. Lastly, I wanted to thank you for your work here as a mod. As you’ve seen, it’s not all that easy, right? It requires an incredible amount of maturity and emotional control that is actually pretty rare on Discord… but you’ve proven yourself and I find myself relying more and more on you and Josh. I don’t know how much longer you’ll be able to devote your time here, but in any case, thank you for everything you’ve done and I sincerely hope we can meet again soon.

Clace… my fkin boy. This is kinda getting too real but you’ve shown me different sides of you this summer and I think I learned a lot about you as a person. I’ve always wanted to find someone like you who would match me in the stupid shit I would do when drinking or otherwise. From barely noticing you at KCON LA 2018 to having our sunglasses real-talk, we’ve come a long way. For some reason, our NY memories stand out more in my head. Seeing you burst in the room at karaoke and mobbing me with Malachi was unreal. That was our first time meeting after getting closer through Discord so that was crazy. Then our nights at the bnb… man, I’m legit so thankful that you were a fkin beast and stayed up to get wasted with me, have that glasses real-talk, fucking with Ace… and the last night when you DARED to try out-drinking me and EPICALLY FAILING!! Now if you were the REAL goat, you would’ve taken Donny’s extra ticket and come to Twice with us but nooo… Anyway fast-forward to LA. THE FRIDAY DUDE. Un-fuckin-real. Those gummies hit sooo different. Then drinking bare soju, holy shit. We went absolutely bonkers. I know the convention and concert weren’t as exciting for you as NY prob was but I’m glad you still found ways to… have fun. Bruh those mornings when I woke up and found you THERE… actually neo’d hard LOL. Saturday I don’t remember much but Sunday night we went nuts again. And then Monday was big pog. Sorry we couldn’t go to the after party but I have no regrets really. I’ll never forget that one last hurrah we had at Shake Shack and the last of the gummies lol. Then the morning after when you said you weren’t coming with me to LAX anymore… but then I told you Uber prices hit different rn you woke the fuck up, took a shower, and ran out with me. I’m glad you were there and that you were the last one I saw before parting ways with this incredible weekend. You were seriously one of the most important people to me this summer and without you neither KCONs would’ve been the same. Thank you, and hope you enjoy that Sakura coaster!

Paul, I said this before, but it still blows my mind just thinking about how our paths crossed. You were just on a trip to NY with friends and decided to stop by KCON on a whim. Somehow you find this server, meet up with us after the concert, I POG hard at your accent, and the rest is history. Remember how you were impressed when I properly pronounced Melbourne? That’s a proud moment for me to be acknowledged by a real Aussie. I’m so glad that you had such a good time with us in NY and in the server that you decided to make the trip to LA as well. The adventure we went on Monday with Donny is a day that I’ll never forget. It’s nice to have a group of people who are down to do touristy stuff, rather than exploring on your own. The pics look a lot better too. We just had such a diverse group of people for this trip and you were seriously one of the people who helped complete it. You’re the farthest away from us in terms of distance and time zone but I hope you continue to enjoy your time with us.

Robinnn, it was nice to finally meet you properly after randomly meeting (then forgetting you) in LA 2018, and then missing the KBBQ in Toronto. People don’t realize how big of a role you played in setting everything up in the beginning and I just wanna take the time to acknowledge that again. Austin, you are legit one of the people I am most thankful to have met this year. I’m so glad you noticed me as Sabb’s friend when I first joined the (formerly) Twice Newark server. That kind of recognition goes a long way for people like me and it really helped me get more comfortable in the server. I’m also glad you were one of the first people I met in NY for KCON (also shout-out to Joe!). Thank you for letting me put my suitcase in your room during the day. Lugging that around in that HEAT would’ve been a nightmare so I really appreciate you doing that both for KCON and Twice. And speaking of Twice, I’m glad you still decided to come even after hearing about Mina. It really sucked but I like to think that we cheered and had fun enough to make her proud. And it also inducted you into the 3-for-3 BFF gang with me and Diddy (ez). Let’s talk about karaoke though… WOW. The BTS songs especially were near flawless, like I don’t know how many times I told you I was legit impressed LOL. And then the other time we jumped on the seats and got hyped to OKEY DOKEY holyyy. Rounding it all out with that Friday meet-up in LA… unreal. You’re my fkin boy. Can’t wait to hang out and go nuts with you again next year.

I remember first seeing you at KCON LA last year and I remember thinking “who is this guy just randomly screaming things out -_-“. But in the months since, and after finally hanging out with you in LA, I’ve realized that you’re fun to have around. Sometimes we space out during conversations but I always focus when you say things cuz it often makes me pause and think “wait wtf did I just hear…” ;). Thank you for taking the lead and organizing the Pick Ems. It created a lot of discussion and I think people had a good time with the challenge (even if we didn’t get everyone we wanted). Hope to see a return of it for KCON 2020!

Then later that night when we all met after the concert in NY and we found out that YOU were that Olaf… omg never forget. Actually blows my mind still just thinking about it. Seeing you in the idol school Hayoung outfit though… can’t beat that. You are indeed the master of costumes. Randomly running into you throughout NY and LA cons was also really nice. I said that there would be at least one fuck you and it's to none other than KCON :D. I've already sent in my complaints but I just had to give one last fuck you to whoever decided to sell AE tickets before participating artists were announced, and more importantly, not giving fromis_9 an AE. You're better than this, so DO better.

And just so we don't end on that sour note, I'm gonna plug my (somehow) famous quote: "A hi-touch lasts seconds, but the memories and friendships we made will last forever."
