  5. Upon starting the minigame, the Player will be greeted with a screen showcasing a number of panels, these being:

  7. - BASICS: PANEL - OPERATION_DIAGNOSIS

  9. The OPERATION_DIAGNOSIS panel notifies the player of their current objectives, the conditions to those objectives, and the risk associated with failing to meet them, all described below -

  11. - BASICS: OBJECTIVES
  12.  
  13. The Player will have a set of differing objectives upon attempting to hack a terminal, directives listed in the upper left under the OPERATION_DIAGNOSIS. These objectives can be one of four things:

  15. 1. REACH
  16.  
  17. The REACH objective will require the Player to reach a certain progress point in the minigame by the time the timer has completed its course (notified by the number to the right of the REACH)

  19. 2. OBTAIN
  20.  
  21. An OBTAIN objective will necessitate that a certain item within the minigame's contents be found, typically being a breakpoint
  22.  
  23. 3. DEFEND
  24.  
  25. The DEFEND objective indicates that the system is rejecting your attempts to access it through force
  26.  
  27. 4. BREAK
  28.  
  29. BREAK objectives determine what structures of the terminal being hacked should be taken care of in order to remove discrepancies

  33. DEFEND will always appear alongside other objectives, as it cannot stand on its own - thus, ensuring it only appears in Normal or above Normal difficulty terminals.

  37. A variety of conditions might appear depending on the difficulty of the terminal and the Player's Science skill, ranging from:

  39. 1. LACKLUSTER_NULL(ERR)

  41. Notifies that the security system for the terminal in question is faulty, meaning that
