[22:03] <Kirath> "Tiny, is that where we need to go?"
[22:04] <~CelestialDoggie> "Tiny?" She kicks him in the calf. "I have no idea, but it sure seems like a damn good place to start looking, doesn't it?"
[22:05] <Kirath> "Gotta get my shots in sometime.  Alright, do we kick in the door and make a grand old entrance, or do we sneak by in the confusion?"
[22:06] <Sophia> "I don't care either way. Decide amongst yourselves." Sophia casually waves the decision-making away from her.
[22:07] <Kirath> "Right, Cat, circle around, Wylde, you go the other way, We'll approach from the front."
[22:08] * Wylde_West gruntsl, heading that way
[22:13] <Sophia> "Perhaps we should keep everyone together? Who knows what could be attracted by the sounds of the battle."
[22:14] <Kirath> "Then at least spread out.  No sense keeping within arms length.   Ten or twenty paces apart."
[22:14] * Kirath starts moving towards the structure
[22:15] * Elvaral low growl
[22:17] <~CelestialDoggie> The going is slow, as it's difficult to pick your way through the rubble without going over it, and still maintain some separation. It takes nearly ten minutes to get at all close to the particular "building" over which the airship resides.
[22:17] <~CelestialDoggie> The sounds of battle continue for nearly the entire trip.
[22:18] <Sophia> "Maybe it's ghosts, and this is a trap."
[22:18] <~CelestialDoggie> Once or twice there is a lull, quickly broken as other sounds--presumably indicative of heavy magic--shatter the quiet again.
[22:18] <Kirath> "I think we're late to the party."
[22:19] <~CelestialDoggie> Kirath's statement is punctuated by a lightning strike, arcing down from a clear blue sky and narrowly missing the airship.
[22:20] <Sophia> "Perhaps we should hurry?
[22:20] <~CelestialDoggie> Suddenly--and most perplexingly--an ear-splitting, enormous howl is the next sound after the thunderclap subsides.
[22:20] <Kirath> "Agreed!"
[22:20] * Kirath moves into a run.
[22:25] <Sophia> "Uhm. Perhaps we should hurry in another direction? If I'm not mistaken - and I never am - that was a Dragon's roar."
[22:25] <Kirath> "All the better, they've pissed it off, not us!"
[22:26] <Sophia> "To a dragon, I don't think it matters which ant made it angry in the first place..."
[22:27] <Kirath> "What we're after has got to be in there!  If it's chasing them, we can nab the artifact and go!"
[22:28] <Sophia> "This is insane. Ugh, whatever."
[22:30] <~CelestialDoggie> You keep up your pace, arriving at the entrance to an enormous, circular building, if the side you can see is any indication. Archways dominate the ground level, and atop them is solid wall...relatively speaking, of course, given the decay.
[22:30] <~CelestialDoggie> From here it's easy to make out the airship above, although it carries no identifying markings...not even a pirate jack flying in the wind.
[22:31] <~CelestialDoggie> The sounds of battle are close, now--obviously, whatever's going down, is happening inside.
