Note: The last source on the boycott states that it wouldn't make sense to punish US athletes for China's human right's abuses. I think this is a very good point. However, I think it's also cruel that the IOC is making the Olympic athletes put aside their own morale consciousnesses to play in a sport they have worked towards their entire lives. China doesn't deserve to host the Olympics at all.
