  14. - Gift+talk Joe and Kurt every non-Tue/Thu at the carpenter's area; intro+gift both
  15. - After 8 interactions with Joe, on the next non-rainy Tue/Thu:
  16. > Talk+gift Joe at the lake (in that order)
  17. > Catch 4 fish
  18. > Exit/re-enter via the Goddess pond (skip Goddess CS)
  19. > Skip CS, then reload via Goddess pond again for next CS
  20. > Head home and sleep
  21. - On the next non-rainy Mon/Fri:
  22. > Buy the S.F. Rod from Louis (~20s after Louis enters)
  23. > Gift+talk Kurt
  24. > Catch 6 Fish L
  25. > Trigger the nighttime Joe CS between 7pm and 9pm with at least 8 total fish (nightfall is 7pm in Spring, 8pm in Summer)
  26. > Finish up Fish L after Joe CS if necessary
  27. > Head home and sleep
  28. - On the next Tue/Thu, enter the carpenter's area for sprite/Woody CS
  29. - After the sprite CS and 12 interactions with Kurt, the next time you exit the house will be Kurt's request
  30. - After the request, give Kurt 10 Herbs (in addition to the daily gift+talk)
  31. - Talk, no gift on the last (15th) Kurt trip
  32. - At least 3 days after the herb day, and after 15 interactions with Kurt:
  33. > Exit the house in the morning to get special rod
  34. > Wait until nightfall and catch the Silver Fish
  35. > Sleep 7 times and exit to finish the ending
  36. - According to the Japanese guidebook, you can catch the fish as early as 1 hour before nightfall, i.e., from 6pm in Spring, from 7pm in Summer
  37. - To calculate the time on the fly:
  38. > Katie enters the cafe ~45s before noon
  39. > Thus, you can start casting ~3m15s after she enters in Spring, ~3m40s after she enters in Summer
  40. - This means that technically, Spring is better than Summer for Silver Fish, as you get a whole extra hour to try for it (25s in real time)
  41. - In practice, you need very good mild season luck to obtain the special rod by the end of Spring, but it is possible
