- Rhys gritted his teeth as he bore witness to the Goblins making rather provocative hip motions as he sucked in a bit of air. He wanted to keep himself calm as he bore witness these movements. Honestly, he couldn't stand it, he couldn't stand the sight of these creatures after hearing what they did to their kin ten years prior to this moment. He soon ran a hand through his hair as he attempted to himself from losing himself in his pent up aggression, thankfully he wasn't that much of an angry person, or at least that's what Rhys kept telling himself as he couldn't bear to stomach their presence any longer, and the fact they decided to take the first attack towards them made the Knight simply boil over. Rhys soon steeled his mind and body as he slowly placed himself into the standard and basic stance of a knight, his only real 'weapon' he had as he didn't have anything else to fall back on. At least at the current moment, he wanted to release his fury for the first time, he soon prayed to God with a quick mutter before he swung his blade down before he stamped his foot down.
- <" Lord, give me the strength to smite those who threaten this land, in your name, Deus Vult."> After his short prayer, he locked his gaze on the Goblin 5 while also opting to take his stance next to Iris and Ivan. He immediately felt energy pumping through his veins as he swiftly approached the Goblin in his attempt to hack at its arms, or body, whichever he was ever to cut first really.
- "Aye!" (2)
- Rhys took several breaths as he looked around over at the Goblins starting their pseudo-retreat, honestly he didn't really know what to think about that, he did know he was rather angered that they were doing this, either that or they were blown up and his kill wasn't their anymore, the fact still stood that Rhys was angered-but that was all interrupted as he turned over to look at Ivan perching a brow at the male before he was soon vaulted towards the Bomb that was ever expanding itself, perfect. Because Rhys still had more pent up anger from the goblins' presence and well just the Demons being there in general, this just worked out perfectly as he clenched his teeth and squinted his eyes as his body semi-ragged dolled throughout the air as he prepared himself for a plunging attack.
- Hoping that gravity was on his side, he furrowed his brow and tightened his hands around his broadsword as he prepared himself to deliver a downward stabbing attack from above, thanks to Ivan's quick thinking. At least to Rhys this seemed like a good enough plan, at least until he had fully registered that gravity would eventually kick in if he had missed causing him to splat on the ground, but what's the likely-hood of that happening? - Rhys hissed under his breath as continued to strike at Bomb in front of him, he didn't want to chance it exploding in his face or worse only to further his initial rage that these Demons dared to try to attack Aracadia. He sucked in a breath as he continued to wail on the Bomb only to realize his strikes were in vain and that it had already sunk itself into the ground. "Son of a -" he cut himself off, still completing the profanity in his head as he turned his attention to the other Bomb flinging blob of fire every which way. The Knight didn't want to stand for this as he tightened his hand around his weapon before he dashed his way towards his opponent or the thing he deemed as his opponent as he slowly raised his blade up to attempt to join any of the others to aid in slaying this beast. - Rhys took several breaths as he slowly turned his gaze to the Beholder, he still hasn't had his fill of ridding these vile creatures from their home. The fact it was laying their defenseless just made it all the easier for Rhys to want to end it quickly. Given he had no sympathy for the creature it wasn't going to be a mercy kill, it'll just be something for his broadsword to cut through, another Demon to help feed his blade, or at least that's what he thought as he tapped his blade against his shoulder a few times as he paced himself and approached the Beholder before attempting to plunge his blade into the eye of the beast aiming to rip it out for a prize for Lord Arthur, should he and the others return.
- <"Next."> (6)
- Rhys drew out his blade as he slowly made his way over to Ivan. "He right." Rhys stated after furrowing his brow as he allowed some of his iniate anger over these vile creatures to resurface after a while. "I'm curious to see who's endangering our land this time." he snapped looking over at the Goblins then at the young boy, Salazar.
- "Hmm." (7)
- Rhys watched as the Arcadian soldier was soon made into a chew toy by the large demonic beast. He tightened his jaw as he drew out his blade pointing his blade towards the thing as his eye twitched a bit. Honestly he couldn't contain himself after watching the death happening, Rhys' breathing became a bit more horse as he felt his blade shake a few times as his senses were going wild telling him that he shouldn't be rash and attack this..thing so foolishly. But his emotions were telling him another, he wanted to attack, he wanted to unleash his fury outward, even though he knew he couldn't do so without a calmer mind and well the combined efforts of every confident fighter here.
- "Should we attack?" Rhys snapped, turning his gaze over to Ivan giving off a look as if the outcome was obvious, they clearly didn't have a choice if the beast was going to attempt to make them the next snack in it's Acaradian buffet. The Knight gashed his teeth as he stamps his foot forward as he gripped his weapon in two hands as he waited for Tristan to give the official order before he went wild.
- "Of course, we have to, but we didn't get the order, yet." He took a breath as he steeled his mind and body as he slowly pulled his leg back and held his broadsword in two hands as he entered into the basic stance of the Knight as he soon exhaled slowly trying to calm himself, even if it was for a bit, he needed to at least regain some of his senses so he wouldn't do anything too rash.
- <" Deus Vult."> (10)
- Rhys felt his sword connect with the skin of the wing as it sliced through the skin webbing causing it to clatter to the ground face first it seemed. Normally something like this wouldn't bother Rhys as much, but he began to feel somewhat strange, he didn't draw much blood, but the shrieks the beast made did make him seem rather ecstatic, he couldn't put his mind onto it was to why he was feeling his way, maybe due to the fact he detested these creatures and all the blood they managed to spill thus far, who knows? What he did know, or rather pick up on was that his demeanor was growing darker as he continued to clash with these things, like anger being welled up inside him, the thought of carving up Demons, etcetera
- While he wanted more, it seemed like Iris and the others ruined that moment, releasing a sigh he kept his blade out as he searched the surrounding areas soon coming to or accidentally stepping into something wet. "Blood?" Rhys questioned attempting to take a closer look. (12)
- Rhys gritted his teeth as he listened to cries of an injured Knight. A low his escaped from his mouth as he tightly gripped his hand over his weapon as he let out a low laugh, not because someone was being flung around as a Giant's rattle toy, no, that's horrible, he wanted to see how much he'd go against a Giant with his current equipment, possibly not much, but that'll probably be fixed hopefully. Now, Rhys didn't fully know if their combined attacks would do much of anything to fell this beast, for all they knew it was just a more powerful foe to down, not like the Chimera they had squared off against previously.
- Taking that into account, he steeled his body and mind once again as he prepared himself for combat as the anger welling up inside him for all the dead Knights before him and some of his own inferiority complex getting the better of him as he watched Ivan fearlessly launch himself at the Giant's leg striking at such velocity making him feel like he should do the same in assisting Gawain. "Right, he squeezed his hand around his weapon before stamping his foot down as he rushed himself towards the giant opting to use the basic knight's stance to better prepare himself for the worse to come, however, unlike Ivan and possibly Iris, Rhys truly wanted to injure the beast as it dared to attack one of their own, even more so it was so close to Excalibur's chambers, their Kingdom's prized sword of all things, truly this was unforgivable which only proved to anger the Knight further.
- "By the Gods, you lot truly wish to anger me." Rhys chuckled once again as he inclined his boot back before rushing himself towards the adversary, the winds biting past him as he joined the others in hacking away at the Humanoid beast trying to gain the upper hand by inflicting a swift blow first before allowing his second to cut even deeper as he attempted to gouge out a piece of the Giant's flesh.
- <" It's target looks like it's on Iris, so, I'll stay at it's side, for now."> (15)
- Rhys had a bad habit of keeping himself calm, or rather keeping his emotions in check whenever he saw Demons out and about. He sighed pushing a hand through his hair as he shifted his stance and steeled his mind and body just for the briefest of moments. Honestly the fact he was still wearing his weights didn't cue him up, but he still rushed in his broadsword gliding alongside him as he took aim at the first Goblin he saw in his viewpoint as he attempted to cleave it's body in two before it had expanded itself.
- "Ah, welcome back." (16)
- Rhys hissed. "You're all being too hasty!" He snapped towards the pages. Maybe it was his fault they were being like this and Mikael was getting swarmed, honestly, he didn't much like the person--but it was someone he had to protect and it was his plan to make the kid go into the front lines regardless. But then there's Durza who was injured or well, he was caught aflame by the Bomb and that was also an issue.
- But first, he wanted to deal with the Bomb before it would cause any more damage to the pages, even though, he was going to risk his own body. <" Be strong"> He told himself as he dashed straight into Alissa's covering fire, blade in hand as he attempted to cut it down by plunging his blade far into the thing's face. Even if he was taking injuries.
- Next would be the Goblins that were surrounding the Bomb. "Alright....next." Hopefully, they were able to take it out with the volley of attacks laying on the thing before moving towards the next. (19)
- Rhys laughed as he finished off the Bomb once again reaching over to collect its ash, well maybe for later. The scent of Goblin blood seemed to tingle his nose a bit. It wasn’t his blood and he wasn’t the one to spill it, which did disappoint the Knight as he ran a hand through his hair a bit. Something in him just wanted more, more bloodshed, he didn’t know what was going on with him honestly, he sorts of hated this feeling, but it wasn’t like he could do much about it after the fact. He sighed as he turned his attention over to the Goblin that planned to have a sneak attack on him. He sighed as he moved his hand over to grasp the Goblin’s arm as he clenched it a bit, gritting his teeth as he tightened his grip around the daemon’s arm as he took his broadsword as he stepped forward.
- “Bitch move.”
- In three different ways, he bisected the Goblin just hacking away at the beast a few times each slash he tried to play a simple game of a Goblin hack n’ slash game. It was cathartic, purely it was. “I knew he was there.” He pointed at his head tapping his head a few times, “It’s funny.” (21)
