  1. >What can a man lose who never had an identity?
  2. >A man who never had a past or even a purpose
  3. >Nothing inside but pure hatred
  4. >Hatred for others who are able to claim their piece of happiness
  5. >Family, friends, these are unknown words for such a man
  6. >What is it that is left for a man who has basically nothing?
  7. >Pain is streaming in the void which represents your body
  8. >Since your birth out of nowhere your life consisted of death and sorrow
  9. >A man on the brink of madness can only claim one thing
  10. >His own piece of joy
  11. >To prove his very own being to himself anew
  12. >To become someone instead of living in the shadows cast by someone else
  13. >The only thing this unique person may claim is to be complete once again
  14. >You are Nobody
  15. >You're literally nobody
  16. >The only thing you can remember is his face and his name
  17. >Anon
  18. >You can feel it since the first you inhaled life-giving oxygen
  19. >He's the one you'd call 'your other half'
  20. >As much as you hate him for existing as much you are attracted to him
  21. >Stranded in this odd world and being created forcefully your only purpose consisted in killing for that unicorn, or whatever creature it might be that ripped you out of non-existence and gave you your excellent abilities
  22. >You extended them by training almost every day, exactly as you do right now
  23. >But fighting these puppets created of shadow doesn't satisfy you
  24. >Less than a few hours are left until you meet him again as promised
  25. >You must have defeated about twenty foes by now and you didn't even start to sweat
  26. >Only a few hours and you will be the only one there is and ever was
  27. >You can't live as long he exists
  28. >You will claim his name
  29. >And finally you'll become a person
  30. >You'll be
  31. Anon.
  32.
  33. >Oh, another of these dreams again
  34. >You wake up, sweaty as ever and for a few seconds you feel lost
  35. This is not my room.
  36. >It takes a few moments but eventually you realize the place
  37. >You're in AJ's room, the sun is already flooding in and the birds outside chirp like there's no tomorrow
  38. >You wipe the sweat from your forehead and get up
  39. >How the hell could you still be asleep when it's so bright and noisy inside here?
  40. >AJ's room. Memories start to come back as you leave your half asleep state
  41. >A dorky grin appears on your face
  42. >You did it, heh
  43. >Well, you don't know if you two are an item now, but still
  44. >YOU DID IT. And nobody forced you
  45. >Hell, you already lost your p0ny-virginity to a yellow rapist but you'd never thought of wanting to be with another p0ny
  46. >Which throws up the question why she would even consider being with you
  47. >You must be as strange to her as she is to you
  48. >Anyways, that's a side issue right now
  49. >Surely she won't mind if you use her bathroom for a few minutes
  50. >Too bad you can't shave because they probably don't have any razors at home
  51. >Some elder p0nies had beards as much as you remember though, but still you don't feel THAT lucky today
  52. >This day there'll only be a two 'S' routine
  53. >Standing in the shower you let your thoughts shift around
  54. >You feel rhapsodical thinking about that night
  55. >The night you spent with the greatest and most beautiful p0ny there is
  56. >Her luscious hair, her perfect coat, just as the color of a romantic sunset
  57. >Actually since they talk and almost act like humans it was almost like having a girlfriend
  58. >Well, except for their hooves and their bodily frame and such stuff
  59. >Admittedly it's not that close to human beings
  60. >But a man has inner urges as well, right
  61. >You start to wash the soap off
  62. >And the best part is that there was nobody to force you!
  63. >These words ring so lovely inside you head, you just keep repeating them
  64. >Nobody forced you!
  65. >This time nobody forced you, for Christ's sake!
  66. >Nobody f...
  67. >Nobody...
  68. >FUCK
  69. >Naked and wet you jump out of the shower, slipping almost on some dropped soap and make your way back to Applejack's room
  70. >What time is it?!
  71. >God, you were so exhausted and stayed up so late, you wouldn't even call it afternoon
  72. >The sun doesn't shine into her room because it's rising but because it's already setting!
  73. >Orange light fills her room and you've been too doltish thinking about her to realize it
  74. >Damn, you wanted to spend the day preparing but instead you hastily grab your clothes and make your way out of her window
  75. >This has more than one advantage
  76. >You don't have to do some explaining to her family or even talk to them which would steal your precious time, plus she can't confront you about the promise you gave her yesterday
  77. >You don't need her to worry about something that you feel is your fault
  78. >You don't know why but lately you started to feel responsible for the masked guy and his deeds
  79. >Maybe because he's the only human next to you who 'coincidentally' have the same face as you
  80. >However you need to get home as soon as possible
  81. >The orchard seems clear
  82. >You start to run
  83. >On your way you see a lot of familiar faces but don't even stop once to greet back
  84. >You'll have to eat something and get ready, mentally as physically, meaning your equipment
  85. >Some time later you stop in front of your door, panting in exhaustion
  86. >Damn, with your current condition you'll be dead in the water
  87. >Grieving about it won't help you though
  88. >There's nothing you can do now
  89. >Regretting that you've been too lazy to do some exercise with Rainbro you start fondling for your keys in your pocket
  90. >Not that it was completely your fault, you two had some 'conflicts' because of Yellowquiet
  91. >Your pockets are empty. Christ, where are your keys?
  92. >An uncomfortable thought crosses your mind
  93. >They could have fallen out off your jacket when you dressed yourself in a frantic hast
  94. >Is there a possibility to run back and get them?
  95. >The sky speaks for itself
  96. >It's already darkening and even if you make it there and get your keys without any interruptions you won't have enough time to get everything covered
  97. >You still need to find Twilight since she may have some crucial information for you
  98. >You walk around your home and approach the next window
  99. >Grabbing your right wrist with your left hand you bash your own window with your elbow in
  100. >Some p0nies walking in the streets start to give you strange looks but you don't care
  101. >Climbing in carefully you pull some pieces out of the lower part of the frame so you don't get cut
  102. >Finally inside you make a beeline for your fridge and gulf down some fruits and vegetables
  103. >Luckily these things don't have to be cooked to be eaten unlike meat, the first plus for this healthy diet you're forced to take since your arrival in Equestria
  104. >After you've finished your eating binge (you didn't realize how hungry you were until you got to your fridge) you go upstairs
  105. >Undressing yourself you finish your two 'S' plus one ritual and open your wardrobe afterwards
  106. >There it is. Your always reliable coat Rarity made for you
  107. >You took good care of it because it's your favorite garment and with Rarity's helping hoof, who keeps fixing it and complaining how you treat the fine clothing she makes for you, it's almost in perfect shape
  108. >Getting dressed you take another look in your wardrobe
  109. >Speaking of 'always reliable' you grab your hammer and your knife and let them slip into the special additions stitched onto your belt
  110. >Now that you feel recovered, repleted and re-equipped you should visit Twilight
  111. >This time you may even walk through the front door since you can open it from the inside
  112. >A light breeze surrounds you as you make your way to Twilight's treebrary
  113. >Apparently it's already dark outside, so you have to make haste
  114. >Running and jumping over several fences you feel a strange energy within you
  115. >Perhaps wearing your clothes encourage you and give you a little confidence in yourself
  116. >Anyways you arrive at Twilight's in a few minutes and knock at her door just to be left standing alone in front of it
  117. >Why the f-
  118. >Your time is running short and she's not at home?!
  119. >You look around hectically asking yourself where this purple, smart p0ny could be
  120. >Just as you are about to give up you see her walking around the corner talking to Spike who's sitting on her back
  121. >You approach her quickly
  122. Twi! Spike! Where have you two been? Did you figure out a way to stop this masked weirdo?
  123. >"Hey bro."
  124. >"Well, how should I say it best..."
  125. >Her violet eyes lower as her ears do
  126. >That is NOT a good sign
  127. Come on, spill it!
  128. >"Not one of my books mentioned a creature like him. I-I never saw anyone or anything like this! I-I-I mean I can't tell you... well.."
  129. >Tears start to fill her eyes
  130. >Her books never turned on her, must be shocking for her to not find the information she searches inside a book
  131. It's okay, Twilight, really.
  132. >There goes your little advantage you hoped to gain from her
  133. >"But I made a conjecture that the spell Princess Celestia used on you quite some time ago may have caused it. You see, it is a very rarely used one. The last time it was used was about 800 years ago on another foreign creature. All the things I read about this spell afterwards considered it's possible that, er, I mean, the side effects are uncharted because of the rare use, but-but-"
  134. Please, skip the explaining part, time is running.
  135. >She gulps
  136. >"He might be a part of you."
  137. What?
  138. >She looks around nervously and steps from one hoof to another
  139. >"Look, the princess may unconsciously have torn a part out of your heart but I still don't know how he could manifest though..."
  140. Is that all?
  141. >She bites her lower lip with an expression of helplessness on her face and nods
  142. Alright...
  143. >It was worth a try
  144. >Unfortunately she only enforced your guilty feelings
  145. ... I have to go now. He-he's waiting.
  146. >She starts to sob and jumps at you to embrace you in a hug while Spike falls of her back
  147. >"Please don't go alone, Anon! I-I don't want to find you the same way as, Cordan!"
  148. >Her tears start to make a wet spot on your coat about the as she buries her face in it
  149. >You pat her head insecurely but then get a tone of determination in your face
  150. Look at me, Twi, come on look at me.
  151. >Her head raises and a pair of eyes filled with deep sadness meet yours
  152. I NEED to go, do you understand. He won't let go of you all until I settle this with him. I don't want to get my friends hurt or to see them suffer. I'd rather die.
  153. >She starts to cry again
  154. >Shouldn't mention 'dying' you idiot
  155. >You push her away gently and lower yourself to her level
  156. Listen, I will come back, I promise.
  157. >You're a liar. But it's at least not Applejack you're lying to even if it doesn't reason your lying
  158. Since then, take good care of the others, alright? I hope you didn't tell anyp0ny where I am going tonight?
  159. >She looks doubtfully at you
  160. Twilight?
  161. >"Well, I told Rarity because I was so worried about you... I needed to talk to anyp0ny, do you know how worried I am?!"
  162. >Rarity. Towns gossip queen. GREAT
  163. Okay. That's okay. I'll be off and you make sure nobody follows got that?
  164. >She nods slowly as you stand up
  165. I don't need him to play around with you like you're his toys. It's enough what he did to Fluttershy, I don't want this to happen to anyone of you.
  166. >Twilight starts to shake once again
  167. Wh-what is it?
  168. >Tears are running down her face in streams
  169. >"A-about Fluttershy..."
  170. >GODDAMMIT, why is there no fucking end to all these bad news?!
  171. What about her? Did something happen?
  172. >"Well, currently the princess takes care off her. Shouldn't be a big deal though, she's only rearranging her memories. Something or someone from what we know happened to rig it somehow."
  173. >Her memories... but how or why?
  174. >"But something is .... something is causing complications. Anon-"
  175. >Tears drop on the ground again
  176. >"She isn't waking up. She's sleeping and ... s-she may not wake up again."
  177. >Fluttershy did things to you, that is true. She's the reason you got into trouble with your friends. And because of her you almost gave yourself up back in the woods
  178. >Your face turns pale and your stomach turns
  179. >But it wasn't her. It was not her fault
  180. >You clench your fist as your body starts to shake
  181. >At first slightly but then almost violently
  182. >Twilight leaves her head hanging crying tears of bitterness
  183. >What if this happens to her, too?
  184. >What if it happens to anyone else?
  185. >One tiny sick thought crawls into your head
  186. >What if Applejack has to face the same fate?
  187. >Trying to calm your voice as much as possible you lift Twilight's head up with your hand
  188. I will take care of him. Please trust me on this one. I do not want to your or any of the others faces there.
  189. >Her wet and reddened eyes meet the icy glare of yours
  190. >She gulps and nods
  191. Promise it.
  192. >"I-I promise."
  193. Good.
  194. >You let go of her and rise
  195. It's time for me. Take care of yourself and the others.
  196. >"Anon..."
  197. >It's decided. You cannot afford to lose
  198. >And you won't
  199. >This piece of scum will get his price for that one
  200. >Without any further talking you set off to the graveyard, the agreed meeting spot
  201. >More like he decided to settle it there
  202. >This is more than fitting. You'll make sure he'll stay there with a first class ticket to hell
  203. >Making your way there thousands of thoughts rush through your mind
  204. >Thoughts about Fluttershy, about the others
  205. >About Applejack
  206. >You don't know why but you accepted her as a part of your life
  207. >Hell, you accepted them as a part of your life
  208. >And for that you have to protect them, no matter what happens
  209. >Seconds before you reach the graveyard you get hooded
  210. >So what if he's fast and strong?! You used to fight yourself!
  211. >The door indicating the entrance of the graveyard opens with a long creak
  212. >The moon shines from above in its full glory
  213. >It's a perfect night if it weren't for the circumstances
  214. >You pass some tombstones and you don't get around reading some of the inscriptions
  215. >There are a few names of some p0nies but not one you would recognize
  216. >Taken as a whole there are only a few tombstones
  217. >One catches your attention though
  218. >An oddly formed tombstone has a uncomfortably familiar name engraved on it
  219. >Anon
  220. >You forget your innerly burning flames for a second and look at the inscription completely baffled
  221. >Unfortunately for you you don't recognize a figure approaching you
  222. >"You are late."
  223. >Caught off guard you turn around swiftly with one hand grabbing the handle of your hammer, prepared to defend your life until your last breath runs out
  224. YOU! Did you sick fuck set this up?
  225. >"What are you babbling?"
  226. >He leans to one site to get a look at the grave behind you
  227. >"Nah, I'm as clueless as you are."
  228. Then I guess you don't know what happened to Fluttershy as well?!
  229. >He starts to giggle childishly
  230. >"Well, did you like it? Basically I kinda did you a favor. You can thank me later. Oops, almost forgot. There won't be a later for you."
  231. A FAVOR? You're sickening me! Why did you do it?! How could you know about me and Fluttershy? WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THIS?!
  232. >"You will have to beat the answers out of me, because I'm not saying anything."
  233. >This fucking piece of shit
  234. >You breath and shake heavily as your grip around the handle tightens
  235. >He is a filthy murder. He's someone destroying the lives of others
  236. >He is the true responsible for everything that happened to you, playing with you and your friends like puppets
  237. >But he didn't consider one important thing
  238. >You will smash the fuck out of him and smear his innards all over this graveyard
  239. >The hate becomes almost unbearable. Every inch of your body screams for blood. And you'll oblige this time
  240. YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!!!
  241. >With a feral cry of bursting rage you jump off dashing towards him while pulling you hammer out
  242. >During your way to him you lunge your hammer out and as you come close enough you swish it towards his head diagonally from above
  243. >The head of your hammer buries entirely into the ground
  244. >He isn't where he was just a second ago
  245. >His extreme agility allowed him to dodge your swing in the last second
  246. >With brutal force you pull the hammer out of the ground and lay it on your shoulder
  247. >Judging by the hole you made you would have decapitated him
  248. Lucky bastard...
  249. >"I see you have recovered. That's good, that means I'll have more fun! Don't you have a friend who loves fun, eh?"
  250. DON'T TALK ABOUT THEM.
  251. >Once more you take a swing at him
  252. >You won't underestimate him
  253. >This time you feint your first swing, forcing him to dodge
  254. >A second swing follows and this time you aim for his stomach
  255. >He jumps backwards making you miss him by inches
  256. >It doesn't matter, now you have him in a close quarter
  257. >You unleash a series of attacks but he's way too dextrous for you
  258. >Soon you realize you'll have to change your plans
  259. >The hammer drains your power and is too heavy and too slow to actually land a hit
  260. >Your shirt underneath your coat is already soaked in your sweat and you feel your stamina dripping away
  261. >Think fast! Every time you wave your hammer he evades it and takes another step back
  262. >No signs of exhaustion
  263. >An idea shoots up your brain
  264. >This may be a big risk but you have to try
  265. >You let the hammer swish down and as excepted he steps backwards again
  266. >This is your chance!
  267. >With a big swing you aim for the center of his body
  268. >You'll throw the hammer at him and you still have your knife
  269. >If he gets paralyzed even for a second you'll end it
  270. >He's been the reason for all the horrid things that were ripping you apart!
  271. >You are putting your whole wrath into that throw
  272. >All you can think of is him being destroyed
  273. >He will be gone
  274. >Closing your eyes you send a prayer upwards
  275. >Just as you're about to let go of the hammer you hit something
  276. >An abrupt stop makes you almost lose your balance
  277. >Did you hit him?
  278. >You open your eyes instantly to see a fist reaching your face in an alarming speed
  279. >Odds of evading? About zero
  280. >His fist buries into your face with the force of a train, making you fall back
  281. >You roll over your shoulder, grab your knife and keep a lower stance
  282. >He's eyeballing your hammer while you're observing his every move
  283. >He doesn't even bother looking at you
  284. >Even though you don't show any pain you feel like shit
  285. >Your head spins and something drips down to the ground
  286. >You wipe fluids off your mouth which stain your white coat in a deep red
  287. >Spitting the remaining blood out he finishes his examination and turns to you
  288. >"I have to admit you got better."
  289. >Your eyes are stick to his hands as your body tensions up like a crossbow
  290. >"My turn."
  291. >Clumps of dirt scatter as he takes off
  292. >His incredible speed gives you no more than about two and a half seconds to think
  293. >Adrenaline and blood rush in equivalent parts through your system as time slows down
  294. >You see him running at you
  295. >His muscles shine through his tight suits
  296. >Every single move appears to be the fruits of a very long and disciplined training
  297. >He is like a fucking unstoppable buffalo
  298. >Well, you are the hunter
  299. >You inhale and rethink the whole situation
  300. >His right arm raises a bit higher than his left and the muscles there are tensioned
  301. >A right punch to your face is to expect. Divert his arm with your left hand to use his own force to make him stumble
  302. >Wild and uncontrolled hook, due to the lack of balance, to your stomach. Put elbow in between and focus force on his biceps to cripple his left arm with your right elbow
  303. >Pain shoots through his body. He'll try to bring his knee to your stomach or groins in an attempt to bring a little distance between you and him
  304. >Stop his knee as his attempt to make some air between the two of you by kicking him with your shin in the inside of his legs and paralyze his right leg with yours at the same time
  305. >Use his confusion to bring your own knee up to his head
  306. >As he'll stumble backwards from the force connect with a one-two-combo to his celiac plexus
  307. >Afterward a quick elbow slash from beneath up to his chin and a push kick to his groins in order to make him fall
  308. >Placing your knee on his neck and pinning him down with the weight of your body as you position your knife in front of his throat and start the interrogation
  309. >Capability to fight back during the interrogation: zero, due to paralyzation in one arm and leg, nausea caused by a mild brain concussion and lack of oxygen due to heavily reduced capability to breath
  310. >You got your mind set up
  311. >His right fist lunges out as expected
  312. >You try to push it downwards and ... miss it
  313. >He aimed for your rips, not for your head
  314. >You feel the left side of your ribcage cracking as his fist drills deeper into your body
  315. >Your mouth pops open in a desperate attempt to gasp for air
  316. >His left fist connects with your head as he starts to pummel you
  317. >A few punches hit your stomach and chest, robbing your last air inside your lungs
  318. >A quick double elbow slash twice across your face end it
  319. >Falling flat on your back you hold your chest and gasp for air
  320. >You are almost blacking out
  321. >He just wasted you
  322. >You couldn't even defend yourself...
  323. >Finding the strength to turn you lean to one side and throw up
  324. >Meanwhile he rubs his fists and acts like nothing happened while picking up the knife you've dropped
  325. >"That was all? Come on! I thought you wanted answers!"
  326. >You barely her him since you head you head is painfully injured
  327. >He bends over you on all fours
  328. >"Listen. I might as well tell you a few things before I finish you off."
  329. >He turns you on your back and slaps you hard
  330. >"I said listen!"
  331. >He takes his mask off and your eyes meet his
  332. >His glowing eyes which looks the same as yours
  333. >"You don't know how it is. To be nobody. You are the 'original', pah!"
  334. >He spits in your face
  335. >"You are not even worth living. Your little problems with Fluttershy! She loves you and you are acting like an idiot! You got friends who care for you. But that's okay, really."
  336. >He laughs
  337. >"I will take them away from you one by one. Sadly you won't see it."
  338. >He raises the knife above your head
  339. >"Their puny elements. they won't work on me. Your heart is mine and I am you. I'm not living. I'm not even existing. Yet. The elements are made to protect from evil. They can't hurt someone who isn't there. But I'm no more a part of you. You will be the one who'll stop existing! Finally I will be someone!"
  340. >That's how it is, eh? Twilight would be surely interested
  341. >"I knew that causing some trouble in that shithole Hollow Shades would get you there! How could you not be there with the elements of harmony as your friends? But who would have thought that you'd be a 'guard' now, hah. Shame I didn't get to you there because of that stupid Cordan who protected you."
  342. >Of course if he was born from your heart the elements of harmony might not work on him
  343. >"And about Fluttershy, We are one. I can manipulate her feelings, her memories. Through you. She only needed a little push."
  344. >Fluttershy. You really wanted to excuse yourself. You are sorry for what happened. Now she might never hear it
  345. >"However that's enough talking. Say goodbye!"
  346. >So that's it? You are dying?
  347. >The moon shines bright on your face
  348. >Somehow it calms you down
  349. >The soothing light on the moon shining on your face
  350. >You feel your pain descend
  351. >Your body gets ready for the last step
  352. >The masked one raises the knife higher, preparing for the final stab
  353. >Your friends. Who will protect them?
  354. >This sick psycho will hunt them down one by one!
  355. >You feel your heart pumping faster as anger boils up inside you
  356. >He'll hurt them!
  357. >The moon and the stars shine calmly over the scenery
  358. >No. NO! You made a promise!
  359. >You clench your fist
  360. >You promised to never give up again! What the FUCK are you doing?! Letting him murder you?! JUST LIKE THAT?
  361. >Deep glimmering rage sparks an unstoppable flame inside you
  362. You stupid MOTHERFUCKER!
  363. >You shout stops for a second as he's confused over your innerly strength
  364. >You curl up and place your feet on his chest
  365. >With your whole strength you push him off you and roll backwards
  366. Argh!
  367. >The wounds are still serious and you're panting, unable to stand up
  368. >Meanwhile he dusts himself down and stands up
  369. >"Wow. I'm truly impressed. But there's nothing you can do. Just look at yourself!"
  370. >Damn, he's right
  371. >And he's not even sweating
  372. >If you only had his endurance and his strength
  373. >If you only ... wait!
  374. >He slowly starts to run at you
  375. >Twilight said he's a part who may have been split from you during Princess Celestia's spell
  376. >He gains speed as he closes in
  377. >And he said you are one person, one heart
  378. >He lunges out for the last deadly attempt
  379. >You have to try it
  380. >This time you are sure
  381. >He's aiming at your throat
  382. >Scraping the last bits of power you have you push yourself up and take a step towards him
  383. >The knife misses you and the force causes him to embrace you awkwardly with one arm
  384. >Before he can react you grab him firmly by his back and push him over using all your might
  385. >The impact on the ground causes your heads to clash as everything goes black
  386.
  387. >For a minute you thought you passed out
  388. >That would probably mean that you're dead
  389. >But you aren't
  390. >As you become conscious you realize you aren't at the p0ny graveyard anymore
  391. >The place though seems known to you
  392. >A sudden realization comes to your mind
  393. >It's the same place you've been after your fight against Discord
  394. >The same empty platform with darkness surrounding you
  395. >This is your deepest self
  396. >Your heart
  397. >And your counterpart is here as well
  398. >You are opposing each other
  399. >"That was ... unexpected."
  400. ...You are a part of me.
  401. >"Seems like it."
  402. >For a few seconds you're facing each other in silence
  403. >Eventually he breaks it
  404. >"There's not enough space for the two of us."
  405. I second that.
  406. >"Are you ready for your second beating?"
  407. >Oddly enough the answer would be yes
  408. >Only that you'll be the one who will be left after this
  409. >Your sights are set on it adamantly
  410. >You take a moment to check your body
  411. >Touching your face you recognize your wounds are gone
  412. >Everything considered you feel good
  413. >No injuries, no signs of fatigue, nothing
  414. >He starts to charge at you
  415. >Unexpectedly you know what he's going to do
  416. >He's going to feint a hit to your face but he'll be trying to sweep your legs
  417. >You grab his fist, stopping his motion and jump over his kick
  418. >Your other hand grabs his hand and you push yourself over his head
  419. >Standing right behind him you try to push a knee into his back but he jumps forward, dodging your attack
  420. >"What the hell? When did you become so acrobatic?"
  421. >You start to understand everything
  422. >A triumphant smile appears on your face
  423. Don't you get it? We are inside me. We are the same person. Everything you believe to know I know as well. Your abilities are the same as mine.
  424. >You pull your hood back
  425. This time you won't have an advantage.
  426. >He responds with a scream of anger and attacks you again
  427. >Once more you are able to predict his moves but as you try to counter it he evades you as before
  428. You won't get out of hear, do you understand? This time I'll destroy you! For everything you did to me. Every single thing you did to me and my friends!
  429. >The first time in a while you feel like having the control over things
  430. >But you'll have to prove you can handle this
  431. >"Fuck you!"
  432. >The desperation within his voice gives you another boost
  433. >You know he's done and so does he
  434. You won't harm anyone ever again!
  435. >You jump at him, resolved to end this madness
  436.
  437. >After a long and tiring battle you are still opposing each other
  438. >Both of you are out of breath
  439. >Again and again you try to strike him down as he tries the same
  440. >Unfortunately he's equal to you and vice versa
  441. >By the looks of it he came to the same terms
  442. >"Why the fuck won't you just die?!"
  443. I could ask you the same.
  444. >You try to bring a straight right to his face as he blocks it with his left
  445. >His right fist aims straight for your head but you're able to stop it with your left fist
  446. >Out of options you tilt your head back and smash it against his forehead as he did the same
  447. >Standing for a while in this odd position you frantically search for a way out
  448. >Both of you are drained so non of you can take the next step
  449. >Using this break he starts to talk
  450. >"You know..."
  451. >As your foreheads touch your eyes meet, inches dividing them
  452. >"You can't destroy me. I'm a part of you. You'll die either way."
  453. Heh, why don't you stop first then?
  454. >"I don't have anything to lose."
  455. >His voice is soaked in bitterness. You've never seen him that way. Normally he's the guy pulling all the strings
  456. >"I don't care if we die. It's a win-win situation for me, either way."
  457. >Funny. It took you quite a while to accept him as a part of you and he still talks of himself like he's an individual
  458. >Accepting him as a part of ... wait
  459. >Why are you fighting him then?
  460. >During the whole battle you tried to get him down, to annihilate him
  461. >But for what reason?
  462. >You realized that he can't beat you but you accidentally forgot something
  463. >You can't beat him either
  464. >Thunderstruck you push him away
  465. >"Shall we continue? I wonder if we'll keep this up for ever."
  466. >Suddenly you know exactly what to do
  467. >He tempts to attack you once more
  468. >This piece of worthless shit keeps running at you although he's drained, too
  469. >He killed innocents, he turned everyone against you
  470. >This FUCK was able to destroy an element!
  471. >And still...
  472. >He's a part of you
  473. >You see his face burning up in rage as he comes closer
  474. >You'll maybe never forgive him for what he's done
  475. >But finally you have to ... accept him
  476. >To accept the feelings he represents as a part of yourself instead of pushing them down into the deepest corners of your shadowed mind
  477. >He's a part of you
  478. >Nothing more, but nothing less
  479. >You lower your guard
  480. >How could you deny him? You're just as him
  481. >Your focused your hate into destroying him all the way and your unbearable anger functioned as the fuel keeping you going
  482. >His fist is right in front of you
  483. >You start to smile
  484. >You can't lose this
  485. >He can't lose either
  486. >The force of his punch throws you on your back
  487. >He screams joyfully considering himself winning already
  488. >You stand up only to be struck down by another hit
  489. >This time you aren't even able to stand up as he quickly jumped on your chest and started to beat you furiously
  490. >You keep smiling
  491. >The pain slowly fades as he keeps beating you
  492. >"What?!"
  493. >His eyes are shocked, no terrified
  494. >He lets go of you
  495. >"Why don't you fight back?!"
  496. >Even the taste of blood disappeared as you stand up
  497. I've came to terms with you.
  498. >"WHAT?"
  499. >His face went pale as a ghost
  500. >"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!"
  501. I meant what I just said. I can't avoid, nor destroy you.
  502. >"FIGHT LIKE A MAN, YOU WUSS!"
  503. >Your calm voice seems to shock him the most
  504. >You don't know why but he stopped dashing at you and instead started to trembling in pure anxiety
  505. >Your only response to his exasperated attempts to provoke you is just shaking your head while smiling
  506. >"You-you are insane! You are the one who lost it completely not me!"
  507. >Tears start to run down his face
  508. >"How can you do this to me?"
  509. Do what?
  510. >"Don't play dumb with me! Did ... did you already forget everything?"
  511. >He's still trembling like an aspen leaf, his fear so substantial that it seems to drip out of his body
  512. Speak clearly.
  513. >"We are outsiders! They still don't trust us! Every time they suspect you of everything! Have you forgotten everything we went through? All the pain, the constant fright of another thing happening to you?"
  514. It doesn't matter.
  515. >"HOW DOES THAT NOT MATTER?! Everyone in this damn world keeps playing with us! I am all you have left..."
  516. Well, you tried to kill me remember?
  517. >"Because you were to weak. You were always to weak. You take every shit that comes at you! How can you possibly think of me as a part of yourself? HOW?!"
  518. You are everything I wanted to abandon.
  519. >You're getting closer to him step by step
  520. But now I understand it will never work. Not this way. I can't deny my true self. Not the good part, nor the bad one.
  521. >He falls to his knees letting his head hanging and tears drop on the ground
  522. >"No. NO! So you're just throwing me away?! Like some kind of broken tool?"
  523. That's not it.
  524. >You are standing in front of him
  525. >"Then what is it? Didn't I save us from Discord? Whenever you used that anger I helped you! You are defenseless without me. Everyone just tries to use you, why don't you get it into your head already?!"
  526. >Again you shake your head
  527. >"OH RIGHT! Now that I'm gone you'll be the hero, right?! YOU ARE ALONE IN THIS WORLD! You have nothing! You are just an outsider stranded here!"
  528. And again you are false. I have six of the most beautiful friends. The other p0nies became like my friends and family members, too.
  529. >The image of them appears in your mind, watching you like guardian angels
  530. >"So that's it? This is what becomes of me? Born as an empty vessel and vanishing as the same?"
  531. Why are you thinking you'll disappear?
  532. >The grin on your face grows wider as your acceptance grows
  533. You were always a part of me. You are not alone. You have six wonderful friends as well.
  534. >He stops to shake and looks up, only to meet your reached out hand
  535. >"What are you talking?"
  536. We will be one again. Just as always. You'll have the same friends and family here as I have.
  537. >"Are you-?"
  538. >His sorrowful eyes start to shine
  539. >"You are not lying, are you?"
  540. No. You will become someone. You will be me, nevermore Nobody.
  541. >A smile sneaks on his face
  542. >Probably the very first honest smile he ever had
  543. >He takes your hand and stands up
  544. >The same moment you grabbed his hand he appeared to be ... calmer
  545. >A bright aura glows around him
  546. >"Promise it."
  547. >His eyes look straight into yours and you nod
  548. >He takes a step and the two bodies merge into one
  549. >You are Anon
  550. >Finally you've found the missing piece
  551. >A warm glow spreads inside you and you close your eyes
  552. >It feels good
  553. >Really good
  554.
  555. >Short fragments of other memories flash before your inner eye
  556. >A unicorn, very sinister with shadows surrounding him
  557. >He talks to you but you can hardly make out what he's saying
  558. >"... done well. But you have to shatter..."
  559. >"Have you ... yet?"
  560. >"If you fail I'll ..."
  561. >"... no procrastination..."
  562. >The memories are blurred so it's tough to spot something clearly
  563. >"...the element is gone the elements of harmony won't w..."
  564. >"...they will be vulnerable..."
  565. >"I will conquer them!"
  566. >NO!
  567. >You wake up, gasping for air
  568. >These memories... whoever Nobody served never planned on just killing you!
  569. >He used you to get to the elements!
  570. >Fuck, now that one element is broken Ponyville will be shieldless
  571. >It's virtually impossible the princess can protect everyone by herself!
  572. >Having seen how powerful Discord and Chrysalis were there's no possibility you could consider her on just taking on everyone
  573. >There is a reason the elements exist
  574. >You will have to warn her instantly!
  575. >You take your time to calm down and take a look around
  576. >Still at the graveyard the sun already started to rise and the birds are chirping loud as ever
  577. >"Anon!"
  578. >A familiar voice reaches your ear
  579. Twilight? Hey there!
  580. >Your friends came to pick you up
  581. >Joy flows through your system
  582. >You feel so happy about them being here
  583. >You are happy you are still able to see them
  584. >Your little adventure could have gone horribly wrong...
  585. >Cheerfully you try to stand up and meet them halfway
  586. >As you push yourself up pain shoots through your limbs and your chest and you fall down to the ground
  587. >Having left the invulnerability of your heart the pain and the wounds your counterpart inflicted you came to a hurting realization
  588. >You are in a very bad shape
  589. >With the little strength you've left you sit up
  590. >"Anon, you look terrifying!"
  591. >"Yeah, what happened?"
  592. Well, I've solved the problem with Nobody.
  593. >You smile and look down to your chest
  594. He's finally where he belongs and I feel harmony inside me.
  595. >"Did you show him? You know with all the moves you have down pat?"
  596. >Rainbow acts like a boxer showing her own moves
  597. >Heh, that's typical of her
  598. Well, kinda I guess.
  599. >A jumping ball of pink fur speaks up
  600. >"It was all crazy! Suddenly you grabbed him and he disappeared and afterwards you were just lying motionlessly on the ground! I-I was worried about you."
  601. You saw it? But Twi...
  602. >"We were worried, okay? You are insane fighting him all alone."
  603. It's okay as long no one got hurt. Heh, except me of course.
  604. >"How can you say something like that. Of all the worst things that could happen, this is the! Worst! Possible! Thing!"
  605. >Rarity just exclaimed her worries
  606. >Funny enough this time she doesn't earn deadpan glares but instead a common nodding of agreement goes through the round
  607. >"It didn't look very good fer ya there pardner..."
  608. >Applejack hugs you and starts to cry
  609. Hush, it's over now.
  610. >You pet her mane, hoping to soothe her at least a little bit
  611. One thing still confuses me. If you saw what he did to me, why didn't you help me? I'm not mad, I'm just curious. Don't tell me you didn't want to break the promise, Twi.
  612. >She sakes her head
  613. >"We don't know either. We tried to help you but some kind of invisible barrier stopped us. Non of my spells worked. It was horrible..."
  614. >The mere thought of the happenings make her shake
  615. >You bet it wasn't very nice watching a friend almost die...
  616. A barrier? I wonder who-?
  617. >A rustling in the bushes behind you indicate someone approaching you
  618. >Your friends turn around and step aside, making way for a tall, phthalocyanine alicorn
  619. P-Princess Luna?
  620. >"Hello, dear Anon. You did pretty well if I may say so. I can explain a few things to you but we don't have much time. We need to hurry into-
  621. The castle.
  622. >Your friends as Princess Luna look flabbergasted but Luna recovers quickly
  623. >"Yes."
  624.
