- Superkids: Invasion
- "I hope we don't have to tangle with another super-villain for a while", Sally Blitzer remarks. The Superkids are resting up after a rough battle with a dangerous super-villain. Penelope Irons, the daughter of said super-villain, has been welcomed to the ranks of the Superkids. Sally and her brother, Felix, are going over the list of Superkids they retrieved from the moon.
- "D.A.N.G. sure took note of a lot of Superkids. There must be at least a hundred Superkids in this list, and we've only found a handful of them.", Felix remarks. D.A.N.G. (Defense Against Nuclear Genocide) is a secret agency that Sally and Felix's parents work for. Sally and Felix's uncle, Kevin, often calls on the two of them for missions because of them both possessing superpowers. In the years since the Nuclear Apocalypse, there's been an increasing number of superpowered individuals born. These are the "Superkids", the children of the Nuclear Apocalypse.
- Sally shuts off her watch (She and her brother stored the Superkids files in their spy watches) and heads outside. She and her brother are at the D.A.N.G. base in a city that was known as Tokyo. The sun is really bright outside and the bright yellow shirt and shorts she has on would make anyone have a hard time looking directly at her without being blinded in this sunlight. Using her Superspeed, Sally runs right up the side of the building to where Michael Drayren, another Superkid, is watching over the city. Penelope would usually be right beside Michael when he's on lookout, but she isn't with him today.
- "Where's Penelope?", Sally asks.
- "She was worried about the volcano, so she went out to observe it up close.", Michael replies. He points to a volcano just outside the city. Smoke seems to be rising from its crater. Sally starts to rush down the side of the building, but an earthquake starts up, tripping her. Felix steps outside of the base just in time for Sally to fall on top of him.
- "Thanks for breaking my fall", Sally remarks to her brother.
- "Don't mention it", Felix responds, though his voice is muffled coming from under his sister. As the quake continues, the ground cracks open a few feet away from Felix and Sally. Michael lands nearby, retracts his wings back in his armor, and dashes into the base.
- "I'll handle things here. you two get to the volcano and rescue Penelope. I'm afraid this quake will make the volcano blow its top. its already close to erupting as it is" Michael shouts. Felix turns into a cat and leaps onto Sally's shoulder. Sally rushes off, arriving at the volcano in just over a second.
- Several miles away, twins Marcus and Mavis Lyon approach a creepy-looking mansion in the ruins of a city that they learned was known as Paris. The ruins of what must have been a gigantic metal tower lay nearby. From the looks of it, the tower stood on four legs and had a pointed top.
- "That must be the famous Eiffel Tower, or what's left of it", Marcus realizes. His dark hair, black muscle shirt, purple shorts, and black sneakers give him a gothic appearance
- Turning away from the fallen tower, Marcus and Mavis enter the mansion. The two of them spend their time visiting haunted locations around the world. Marcus and Mavis possess the power to see, and communicate with, ghosts.
- "This is the place my laptop led us to", Mavis explains. She looks as gothic as her brother, having the same dark hair and wearing a similar outfit, save for her wearing a purple miniskirt instead of shorts, and black leggings.
- They encounter a menagerie of ghosts the moment they enter the mansion. The ghosts act like they sense something and are frightened by whatever that something is. One ghost motions to Marcus and Mavis and then points out a window towards the river. Marcus and Mavis see something weird: the river seems to be rising up at an alarming rate. Soon, a massive tsunami looms over the city. All the ghosts vanish as Marcus and Mavis dash out of the mansion and run for it as the tsunami starts to flood the city.
- "Our ship is over there", Marcus yells, pointing east. As they round the corner, what looks like a giant-sized spirit board comes into view. Marcus and Mavis stand under it and press buttons on their watches. A platform descends from the over-sized spirit board, and the twins climb onto it. The platform rises back up and carries the twins up into the "pointer" which is actually the ship's cockpit. Marcus and Mavis lift off just before the flood reaches where they were parked.
- Up on the D.A.N.G. moon base, Norman Rayne is observing a lot of strange meteorological activity going on around the Earth. He notices a tsunami hitting France, earthquakes and a possible volcanic eruption near Japan, and several other weather disasters in various other countries. Norman decides to return to Earth and see what's going on. He steps inside the moon base's teleporter and teleports to the D.A.N.G. base in Japan.
- Sally and Felix locate Penelope up near the rim of the volcano. Sally rushes up to Penelope.
- "We need to go. This volcano's gonna blow its top any minute now", Sally insists.
- "I'm trying to stop the volcano from erupting", Penelope explains. A sudden rock slide catches them off guard. Sally manages to get Penelope out of the way, but the rock slide cuts them off from Felix. Sally begins rapidly grabbing rocks and throwing them into the volcano to slow the rise of the magma. Sally manages to plug the volcano up, stopping it from erupting, but she and Penelope are still cut off from Felix. A tornado appears from out of nowhere, scoops Sally and Penelope up, and carries them back to the city before vanishing. As the tornado disappears, Sally and Penelope notice Norman Rayne, who was controlling it from within.
- "You girls okay?", Norman asks.
- "We're fine" Sally and Penelope reply. Just Then, Felix marches up to them and notices Norman.
- "Norman, Why am I not surprised that you showed up right when multiple natural disasters are occurring?, Felix remarks, "I'm guessing you caused these natural disasters, and from how fast you got here after I was separated from Sally, you did all this so you could flirt with my sister behind my back".
- "I had nothing to do with these natural disasters. They are happening all over the planet", Norman insists.
- "Yeah right. You are the only individual on this planet capable of triggering these kinds of disasters", Felix shouts. Felix starts to throw a punch at Norman, but Sally jumps in-between the two boys.
- "Would you two calm down?", Sally demands, "We don't know if Norman is behind these disasters or if there's another cause".
- "Sally, think about it. Norman obviously has a crush on you and these natural disasters are a perfect way for him to get your attention", Felix insists.
- "Felix you don't know what your talking about. While it's true I find your sister attractive, there's no way i'd trigger worldwide natural disasters just to get her to date me", Norman insists.
- "Leave Norman alone until we have actual proof that he's behind the disasters, or we find out who or what is really behind them", Sally insists, "He's a Superkid just like us and I seriously doubt he'd turn on us".
- "Sally, did you forget that Penelope was evil when we first met her. No one said every Superkid is gonna use their powers for good", Felix reminds his sister.
- "Leave me out of this argument", Penelope demands, and then she storms away.
- "I'm going to find out who or what is really behind these disasters", Sally insists, "I'm gonna clear Norman's name and if you don't wanna help me, then so be it". Sally runs off, grabbing Norman and dragging him along with her. Felix walks back inside the D.A.N.G. Japan base and collapses on a couch.
- Sally and Norman rush across the pacific to the mainland of Asia and zoom across the ruins of China. They eventually stop somewhere along the Great Wall, which seems to have mostly survived the Nuclear Apocalypse intact. When they stop, Norman notices Sally has been crying.
- "You okay?", Norman asks.
- "I just can't believe my brother would act like that, or that I would have to ditch him like that", Sally sobs. Norman decides he needs to cheer her up, so he holds up his hand and makes a rainbow appear in the sky above them. At the sight of it, Sally wipes the tears off her face and begins to calm down. A flying saucer appears and flies past them.
- "Could that be my brother coming to find us?", Sally wonders. She debates whether or not to signal him. The UFO continues flying without stopping. Seconds later, an earthquake starts up.
- "Are you doing this?", Sally asks Norman.
- "No!", Norman yells. He tries to use his powers to stop the quake, but they prove ineffective. Sally grabs Norman and tries to run but a crack forms in the Great Wall, tripping her.
- "The Great Wall had already been weakened by the Nuclear Apocalypse", Sally explains, "This earthquake may just finish it off". As Sally and Norman try to find a way to escape, what looks like a giant spirit board appears overhead. It hovers right above them and a platform descends from it. A near-identical boy and girl are riding down on the platform.
- "You two should hurry up and get on our ship. This place is collapsing", the twins insist. Sally and Norman decide not to argue and scramble onto the platform. The platform lifts back up in the ship just as the portion of the Great Wall they had been standing on collapses.
- "Who exactly are you two?" Sally asks.
- "Marcus and Mavis", the twins reply. Sally quickly looks up the names "Marcus" and "Mavis" on her watch. The list of Superkids comes up with the results.
- "Marcus Aaron Lyon and Mavis Julia Lyon: spirit mediums", Sally reads off.
- "We see dead people", Marcus teases. Mavis promptly slaps him.
- Back in the D.A.N.G. Japan base, Felix sits up and realizes he must have dozed off. Then, he notices a girl he's never seen before standing in the room staring at him. She looks somewhat like a female version of Norman, with her dark-colored hair running all the way down her back. She has on a puffy white shirt, yellow miniskirt, pink leggings, and white dress shoes. The girl walks over to Felix as he gets up off the couch.
- "Who are you?" Felix asks.
- "Julie Rayne", the girl answers, "I'm Norman Rayne's sister and I came to tell you he is NOT responsible for the disasters that are happening worldwide". Julie shouts this last statement.
- "Calm down Julie", Felix remarks, "I already have my own sister mad at me. I don't need someone else's sister mad at me too".
- "D.A.N.G. bases around the world have reported seeing UFO activity in the areas where the natural disasters occur right before they occur", Julie explains.
- "Are you saying aliens are causing these disasters?", Felix asks.
- "That's what it's looking like", Julie confirms. A bright light suddenly engulfs the building. Felix and Julie rush outside to see where its coming from. a gigantic flying saucer is hovering above the base. Michael and Penelope are up on the roof and are being pulled up into the ship. Julie holds her hands up and fires a bright beam of light from each one. The beams hit the alien ship and cause an explosion, but the ship isn't even damaged. Julie fires two more beams of light, but forms these into claw shapes and grabs Michael and Penelope. The force of the alien ships tractor beam lifts Julie off the ground and begins pulling her in along with Michael and Penelope. Felix morphs into a tiger and sinks his teeth into Julie's overalls, making sure not to pierce her skin. He attempts to dig his claws into the ground but is lifted up before he can. All four Superkids are pulled into the alien spacecraft, which zooms away moments later.
- Elsewhere, Marcus and Mavis have parked their Spirit board ship outside a burger restaurant. Sally, Norman, Marcus, and Mavis are devouring a stack of hamburgers when a mysterious bald man appears that only Marcus and Mavis can see. Sally and Norman look vexed until Marcus and Mavis inform them there's a ghost in the restaurant. The ghost delivers a chilling warning.
- "Beings from beyond the Earth have arrived to claim our planet for themselves. They have already demonstrated their power by attacking our planet with its own weather. Their mothership has appeared in Japan and abducted four Superkids, including Felix Blitzer and Julie Rayne. You must stop these aliens and rescue your friends, or our planet is done for", the ghost warns. Then, it vanishes. Marcus and Mavis relay the warning to Sally and Norman. The four of them quickly get back on board the spirit board ship and zoom to Japan.
- Somewhere over China, they encounter the alien mothership. Marcus and Mavis launch a missile at the mothership and blast a hole in its side. they fly in through the hole and land inside the mothership. Felix, Julie, Michael, and Penelope are trapped inside orb-shaped pods surrounded by these ugly bulbous creatures with dragon-like heads and multiple tentacles protruding from their chests. In short, they look like obese tentacled dragons. Sally races up and tries to punch one, but simply bounces off of it.
- "These things are immune to physical attacks", Sally warns the others. Norman quickly whips up a fog to distract the aliens. He shatters the orb pods with a hailstorm. Now freed, the other four Superkids join the fight and Julie takes great pleasure in blinding the aliens with her light powers. The eight Superkids make a beeline for the spirit board ship and quickly flee from the mother ship. Norman then hits the mothership with a lightning bolt, shooting it out of the sky. The mothership shoots down over northern Africa and crash-lands in the ruins of Egypt, striking the side of a pyramid before burying itself in the sand. The eight Superkids head across the Atlantic, returning to the United States.
- "I'm sorry for not trusting you", Felix apologizes to Norman. Next, he turns to Sally
- "I'm also sorry for arguing with you to the point that you abandoned me", He apologizes to her.
- "I'm sorry for running off on you like that", Sally apologizes back.
- "If everyone's done apologizing, we will be arriving at our house very shortly", Marcus and Mavis announce.
- Marcus and Mavis land the spirit board ship in front of their house, which is in a city that Felix's and Sally's watches refer to as Bowling Green, Kentucky. The "house" is a fairly large building with a big wide yellow tower next to it. The tower had a red spike protruding from its roof sometime in the past, but its mostly gone now.
- "This place used to be a museum", Marcus explains.
- "It was dedicated to some kind of automobile that was only manufactured in this city", Mavis adds, "There's a few of said automobiles inside the yellow tower".
- "What are we gonna do now?", Norman asks, "Those aliens will probably send for reinforcements. That can't be to happy with us for shooting down their mothership".
- "We need to prepare for their next attack", Felix suggests. He enters the yellow tower and sees a bunch of fancy cars parked as if they were on display. He also can't help noticing a rack full of keys in the room. he starts to grab a key off the rack, but stops himself and leaves the room.
- Sally follows Marcus and Mavis to a kitchen/dining room they set up in what used to be an auditorium. The twins heat up their oven and then pull a chicken out of the fridge and put it in the oven to bake.
- "It's actually a bit ironic that we live in a car museum", Mavis explains, "Our parents died in a car crash a few years ago". Felix enters the room just in time to hear Mavis say all of this.
- "What happened?", Felix asks.
- "Our parents took one of the cars in the yellow tower out for a spin and a sniper shot out one of their tires, resulting in a really bad crash. Both of our parents were killed instantly", Marcus explains. Mavis cries a bit as Marcus recounts their parents' tragedy.
- Up on the roof, Penelope rigs a satellite dish to tell them when the aliens' spaceships, or any other threats, are near. Michael does aerial recon, checking for any sign of the aliens. Seeing nothing, Michael lands near Penelope. The two of them head downstairs for supper. A few minutes later, the satellite begins going crazy.
- "The chicken is ready", Mavis declares. She removes it from the oven as Michael and Penelope enter the room. Michael offers to carve the Chicken and makes blades pop out of from the sides of the arms of his armor. He carves the chicken in a matter of seconds and then removes his armor. As they eat, Felix notices a black-haired little girl standing in the nearby doorway that he's never seen before. She's wearing a turquoise skirt and brown shorts. He puts some chicken on a plate for her, but when he turns back around, she has vanished.
- Before Felix can ask Marcus and Mavis if they know the little girl, the building is rocked by an explosion. Everyone throws their plates in the sink and rushes back upstairs. They emerge up onto the roof, expecting to see a fleet of alien spaceships. Instead, they see a gigantic robot with a man in a blood-red labcoat at the controls. Marcus and Mavis recognize the man.
- "That's Dr. Poltergeist", Marcus explains, "our old foe".
- "He's a villain obsessed with paranormal activity", Mavis adds, "he's always inventing stuff to not only let him see ghosts, but to let him control them". Marcus points to a pair of busted goggles around Dr. Poltergeist's neck.
- "Those goggles were his first attempt at controlling ghosts, but we busted them and foiled his plan", Marcus explains.
- "Now that I know where you live, i'm going to finish you off", Dr. Poltergeist declares. He makes one of his robot's giant hands reach down and grab Marcus and Mavis. Michael, now back in his armor, Flies up and delivers several punches to the robot. Despite Michael's super-strength, the robot isn't even dented by his attacks. Dr. Poltergeist presses a button and the robot shoots Michael with a laser beam and sends him crashing back down to the roof. Julie fires beams of light from her hands and then shapes them into big fists and punches the robot, but this is about as effective as Michael's punches. Norman forms a tornado around the robot, but it's to heavy to for the tornado to lift up.
- "You Superkids are pathetic", Dr. Poltergeist taunts. He begins trying to crush Marcus and Mavis in the robot's hand. Sally rushes down the side of the building and up the side of the robot. She begins rapid-fire punching Dr. Poltergiest, but is thrown off when he makes the robot shake back and forth. Felix morphs into a lion and leaps off the roof to catch his falling sister. He attempts to sink his teeth into the robot, but it is to hard for his teeth to pierce. As he turns back to his human self, a voice yells out.
- "Hey, ugly!", a voice yells from the top of the yellow tower. Felix looks up and sees the little girl from before standing up there.
- "If the eight of you couldn't stop me, do you really think this pathetic little girl will fare any better?", Dr. Poltergeist teases. He makes the robot's other arm reach for the little girl. The girl's eyes begin to glow and there's a bright flash of light. When the light fades, Dr. Poltergeist has seemingly vanished and so has the little girl. The robot is just standing there since it no longer has anyone controlling it. Michael flies up and frees Marcus and Mavis from the robot's arm. The satellite dish begins reacting again and, seconds later, a swarm of flying saucers soar down out of the sky.
- "Can't we ever catch a break?", Felix muses. The eight Superkids rush back down into the museum. They rush out the front door and get on board the spirit board ship. As the ship takes off, the UFOs begin shooting laser beams at it. One of them hits the ship and forces it to crash-land on top of the yellow tower. Marcus and Mavis lower the platform for everyone to get off the ship. They can see down into the tower. Felix notices one of the cars in the tower is a convertible with its top down. The little girl is asleep in the backseat of said car. He also can't help notice a doll clipped to the side of her skirt, which looks suspiciously like Dr. Poltergeist. The doll wasn't there the past two times he saw her.
- "The ship is damaged", Marcus informs everyone, "we need time to fix it, so someone needs to distract these aliens".
- "I have an idea", Felix yells. He morphs into a panther and leaps down into the Tower. Transforming back to his human form, Felix starts to grab one of the keys. Before he can, one of the keys levitates off the key rack and flies into the convertible. It starts up seconds later. Felix climbs into the driver's seat. The little girl has woken up and has her hand out like she was reaching for the key.
- "I started it up for you", the girl explains, "By the way, my name's Molly". Felix checks the Superkid list in his watch.
- "Molly Marin Maybelle. Superpower: telekenesis. Can also use her psychic abilities in other ways", Felix reads off.
- "I turned that ugly scientist guy into a doll. He's much prettier now". Molly says, showing Felix the doll clipped to her skirt.
- "We need to get out of here, like, RIGHT NOW", Felix shouts.
- "No problem", Molly says. She fires psychic energy beams for her eyes and blasts a door across the room off its hinges. Felix hits the gas pedal, guns the engine, and they zoom out of the tower and down the road. The aliens seem to follow them. They quickly close in on the car. The UFOs fire laser beams at them, but Molly uses her psychic energy beams to cancel them out. The aliens relentlessly chase and attack them.
- "It's fight or flight time", Felix declares
- "I choose both", Molly declares. She places her hands on the dashboard and the car suddenly lifts off the ground and flies back towards the museum. Molly hits the UFOs with her psychic beams once more, catching the already-stunned aliens off-guard and shooting them out of the sky. Molly lands the car on the roof of the yellow tower. Marcus, Mavis, and Penelope have the spirit board ship just about repaired. Felix and Molly get out of the car. Molly holds out her hands and the car levitates and floats down into the tower, landing in the spot it had originally been parked in.
- "I made some up-grades to the ship", Penelope declares, "It's now capable of space travel. Instead of waiting for the next wave of aliens to come to us, we're gonna take the fight to them". The nine Superkids board the ship, and it rockets upwards into the sky.
- The ship breaks out of the Earth's atmosphere and the Superkids notice an even bigger mothership hovering in low Earth orbit. Molly uses her powers to force the mothership's hatch to open and the spirit board ship flies into it. They park the ship in a hangar amidst some of the aliens' UFOs and make their way to the mothership's control room.
- Upon arriving in the control room, they quickly spot the alien's leader. Their leader has two dragon heads, while the other aliens only have one, and is even more obese than the other aliens.
- "This planet is ripe with radiation", the alien leader is saying, "There's more than enough of it to keep us fed for eons".
- "Beg your pardon, Lord Byvern, but the "bogeys" we encountered down on the planet have some kind of weird spacecraft and they just boarded our mothership", one of other aliens informs their leader.
- "We are not "bogeys", we are Superkids", Sally declares. She runs around the room and grabs a bunch of gun-like weapons which are scattered around the room. She pulls the trigger of one and a burst of flame shoots out and melts one of the control panels.
- "Space flamethrowers. nice!", Sally remarks.
- "Get them!", Byvern yells. Molly fires her eye lasers at Byvern, but they bounce of his bulbous chest and shoot right back at her. Michael jumps in front of her and takes the lasers, his armor withstanding them without a scratch. Felix turns into a lion and pounces at Byvern, but another alien jumps in the way and tackles Felix. Felix tosses the alien across the room, damaging another control panel. Norman conjures a small blizzard, freezing two more of the aliens solid. Molly uses her telekinesis on Norman's snow and forms a large number of snowballs, pelting the aliens with them. Strangely, the snowballs don't bounce off of them and the aliens start to freeze up.
- "The aliens can't deflect anything cold", Norman realizes. Norman and Molly make more snowballs and pass them around to the other Superkids. They pelt the aliens with snowballs until all of them except Byvern are frozen solid. Byvern grabs Felix by his throat and begins choking him. Molly sees her friend in trouble and begins to get angry.
- "Put Felix down or you'll be sorry", Molly demands.
- "Make me", Byvern demands. Molly is now irate.
- "All right, you asked for it!", Molly yells. Her eyes begin to glow and there's a bright flash. Felix falls to the floor. Something lands next to him: A doll that looks just like Byvern. Penelope pushes some buttons on a control panel that isn't damaged.
- "I set this mothership to fly into the sun. We have five minutes to get back to our ship and get out of here", Penelope announces. Molly picks up the doll of Byvern and clips it to her skirt right beside the doll of Dr. Poltergeist. The nine Superkids make haste to their ship and rocket out of the mothership. Minutes later, the mothership rockets forward into the sun.
- The spirit board ship returns to Earth. When it flies down out of the sky, the Superkids find themselves above a city which Sally's and Felix's watches identify as Memphis, Tennessee.
- "My house is close by", Molly reveals. She points to a big mansion and they land the ship right in front of it.
- "This mansion was originally built to honor a famous musician. It was called Graceland back in the days before the Nuclear Apocalypse.", Molly explains. The nine Superkids step inside the mansion and Molly shows them around. There's quite a few strange rooms, including a room that is like a jungle.
- "Mom is probably up at the D.A.N.G. base in Nashville. That's where I was before I "flew" north to find out more about the worldwide disasters. I saw you guys arriving in that Bowling Green place, so I stopped at your museum to rest", Molly explains.
- "Just out of curiosity, Why did you only appear to me?", Felix asks her.
- "I think you're cute", Molly remarks. With that, She takes off to reunite with her mother, disappearing into the distance.
