meatball curry

  1. - 3 tbsp Garam masala
  2. - 1 tsp Cinnamon
  3. - 12 beef meatballs
  4. - 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  5. - 1 can coconut milk
  6. - 1 can chopped tomatoes
  7. - 1 small can chickpeas, drained
  8. - 1 butternut squash, chopped into medium cubes (I usually only use the part above where the seeds are)
  9. - 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped into medium cubes
  10. - 500 ml chicken stock
  11.  
  12. 1) Put some vegetable oil in a frying pan, mix it with the garam masala and mix it up and heat it. Add the meatballs and start frying them. About halfway through the meatballs being cooked, add the cinnamon and ginger
  13. 2) About 10 minutes into frying the meatballs (or until they are mostly cooked), add everything else to the pan and mix.
  14. 3) Wait until most of the liquid is gone
  15. 4) Serve over rice

  17. Substitute with pork meatballs if you want to be extra haram
