The Father's Day Special

Covet: -Swallowing the pills, he put the glass of water in the sink and turned around to look around the living room, scratching his head again as he yawned out.-
Alexithymiaa: -He sighed, trying his hardest not to let his mother hear it through the phone, lifting his hand to run over Lady's head when she came running over to him. "Yes mom. Tel Gabe I'll talk to him tomorrow. I love you too. Bye." He pulled the phone way from his ear and ended the call, dropping his phone down onto the step he was sitting on before looking at the dog. "Tired yet?"-
Musik: -After a few minutes of trying to sleep and failing, she shoved the blanket off of her and ran her hands under her eyes as she made her way out of her room, flinching at the light. She kept her head down as she walked down the stairs, moving passed eli to walk into the kitchen, grabbing a mug and filling it with water, shoving it into the microwave pushing a few buttons and starting it.-
Tsaaq: Remy held onto the steering wheel tight with an unamused expression and widen eyes once he pulled into OCH. “Okay we’re here get out.” He told everyone once he put the SUV in park. His eyes lowered to his phone, lingering in the vehicle. // “You guys get to see my roooom. And the house is clean because I’m responsible and an adult now!” Hayley said as she opened her door and slammed it closed as she jogged to the front door and held it open for them. // Jacque briefly smacked the side of Remy’s head. “Don’t talk to your fucking family like that. You’ve had an attitude all day, you’re not too old for me to beat your ass. Alright?” She pointed her index finger menacingly at him before getting out the car. “Help your father with his shit!” She shouted, following behind Hayley. “Hey, it’s that one guy, and girl.” Jacque waved. // He shook his head. “Hey hey, ease up on the kids please, we have been around each other all fuckin’ day.” Sasha told Jacque loudly. He took his gift bags out the car with a shake of his head. “Where the hell am I gonna put all this?” He asked with a laugh as he walked up the porch and stepped in the house, immediately eyeing the staircase. “Oye, stairs.” He sighed then waved at Harper and Eli. “Hello, I remember your faces.”

Covet: -Eli looked up when he heard  people coming in, his eyes getting big as he blinked and tried to compose himself.- Oh Hey there, good to see you again.  // -Cadence pulled her hummer up into the parking lot of the place, watching Remy and Sasha  unloading the vehicle. She reached over to grab the card that  she'd been attatched to for most of the evening so far, sliding out of her vehicle and closing the door behind her.-
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing commotion coming from inside the house, he pushed up to his feet and snapped his fingers for Lady to follow him, walking in through the kitchen door and looking around at the busy house. Lady went to run for them and stopped, forcing herself to sit until she was told it was okay, but it was a struggle. "Hi."-
Musik: -Harper ignored everything around her as she pulled her cup out of the microwave, letting it burn her hand without thinking about the pain. She reached up and grabbed a tea bag, dipping it in the mug.-
Tsaaq: Remy slammed the driver’s and locked the car, pulling the handle to confirm this out of habit of driving his dad’s car. He’d linger behind when his family went inside. He turned his head once he saw Cadence. “Hey babe.” He greeted, waiting for her before actually heading inside. // Hayley waved at all of them. “Hey Abs!” She said before going over to Lady to pet her. “Hiiiii.” She said. “Mama, Daddy this is Adam and you remember Eli and Harper. And this is Lady.” Hayley introduced before standing up straight once more. // Jacque went to the kitchen, opening up the cabinets without talking to any of them because nosing around was important. // He walked towards the others after putting his bags down on one of the couches. “Great to see everyone again, and meet these guys.” He said looking at Lady and Adam.

Covet: -Eli blinked and watched as Jacque started going through the cupboards. Not quiet awake for this level of human interaction yet. He made his way into the living room and sat down on one of the couches.- // -Cadence smiled and walked up to give him a kiss on the cheek, then bit her lip looking jittery and nervous- Hey, how's your day been? -she asked him as she started to head for the door.-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam smiled at Sasha, watching Lady do the butt dance because she was trying to stay sitting, but was way too excited so she inevitably just bounced her butt on the floor. "It's nice to meet you, too." He stuck out his hand to Sasha to shake, trying to be as respectful as possible.-
Musik: -Harper walked over to the freezer grabbing her bottle of jack, seeing that there wasn't really anything left in it. She walked over and dumped the rest of it into her mug, tossing the bottle into the trash. She picked up her mug and turned around to look at everyone, not saying anything as she walked passed them to the door, pulling it open and stepping outside, moving to sit on the boat chair thing sipping her now warm tea/booze-
Tsaaq: “Long.” He answered quickly as he took her hand and went up the porch steps with her. “These assholes got Sasha these boss ass presents. I look like an ass with my band shirt present I always get him. But I guess that’s why you’re here.” Remy went inside and held the door for Cadence. “Mom, Dad, Cadence is here.” He announced. “Hi other people. Amy.” Remy nodded in Eli’s direction. // Hayley laughed while watching Lady. “Oh my gosh. She’s being so cute.” She leaned over to pet her again. “Mommy stop!” She called out. // “Stop, I’m busy.” She told Hayley. Jacque turned her head like a deer in headlights. “Hi Cadence.” She said before going to the kitchen drawers. // He looked down at Adam’s hand and smiled going to shake his hand then tried to give him a pound even though he’s a dad and shit. “So you’re Hayley’s friend and you’re not garbage from what I’ve heard. Good job.” He went to pat Adam’s shoulder then turned to wave at Cadence. “Well if it isn’t Muhammad Ali herself? Well… Not really he died. Who’s another boxer I can reference?”
Covet: -Eli watched harper make her way outside, looking like shit. He gave a slight frown then waved as Remy came in, calling him Amy- Hey man. Brought the whole family eh? -he chuckled then stretched and yawned again.// Hey this is going to be just a bomb from both of us. Don't sweat that fine ass of yours. -Cadence said with a laugh as he dragged her along up the stairs. and called out  as they walked in. She waved her hand with the card in it, smiling awkwardly at Sasha's Muhammad Ali comment.-  Uh, the only fighting name coming to mind, isn't even boxing it's MMA and it's Ronda Rousey. But she got knocked out...so Maybe not her. -she said with a laugh-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam laughed nervously because it was such a strange comment and he didn't really know how to take it. "Thank you?" His eyes dropped down to Lady, leaning over to snap his fingers down toward her. She immediatey scooted back and controlled herself a bit more, leaning into Adam's legs, but was basically vibrating with excitement. -
Musik: -Harper brought her legs up to her chest, sipping on her tea as she just started into space as she drank-
Tsaaq: “DAD!” Remy called out. He inhaled deeply. “I didn’t bring them. They volunteered and shit.” Remy told to Eli. “Dad. Dad. Dad. DAD, get over here. You have more presents.” He said. //She pursed her lips at Sasha and shook her head. “Why do you say things sometimes?” She asked then crouched down towards Lady. “Yes, he’s my friend. Duh.” She looked up at Adam. “She looks like she wants to play with everybody.”// She finished fishing around the kitchen and went to stand with Hayley and Sasha. “You son is calling you.” She said before giving Adam a nod. // “Before sunrise he’s your son.” Sasha said with a raise of his eyebrows and a nudge. “So you’re friends or you’re… Friends?” Sasha asked Adam in almost a whisper before finally being annoyed with Remy. “Fine! I’m coming.” He called out as he walked over to them. ”Yeah she doesn’t work as a reference.” Sasha said, shaking his head. “Okay where’s my present?” He asked looking between them.
Covet: Ah, right...Gotta love family -he chuckled then saw Harper out on the couch sitting by herself. He got up amongst the family gathering and exited stage right to walk outside- Hey, out here all by yourself? -he asked quietly- You look like you've seen better days. -he said just as awkwardly- // -Cadence held out the card to him with the booking info on the tickets and stuff, then smiled- This is also  more of Remy's present to you, and I helped a little . Sorry the outside looks a little beat up. Alexithymiaa: -Adam smiled and nodded down at Lady. "Yeah, she's trying really hard. But if I let her go she'll probably jump because she's not very good at controlling her excitement yet." He shifted awkwardly when Sasha addressed him, shaking his head. "No sir, just friends." He exhaled deeply when Sasha walked to stand with Remy and Cadence, looking relieved as fuck.-
Musik: -She finished her tea and looked down into her glass with a long frown. She pushed up to her feet and moved to walk bak inside. She moved passed everyone again to walk over to the sink, washing out her cup.-
Tsaaq: Remy smiled and patted his pockets. “Hope you like it.” He muttered a little nervously. //She pouted a little as she stood. “Aw fine.” She sighed. “Just friends what?” Hayley asked, hearing the tail end of the conversation before Sasha walked off. // “Don’t worry about it.” Jacque said dismissively to Hayley, patting her head. “Aaron?” She asked as she pointed to Adam. “Wait… Abe. I’m gonna get it.” // He laughed. “What is it? Another Pantera shirt?” He asked jokingly. Sasha inspected the card carefully, looking at the front for way too long.  He went to open it a few times but stopped himself because he was fixated on the front. “Wait…” Sasha trailed off. “Um…” He adjusted his glasses like that would change the card somehow. “Are you guys getting married?” He asked, sounding a little shocked.
Covet: -Eli watched as Harper ignored him and walked back inside. He gave a shrug, not caring to put too much effort into it and sat down on the boat couch and laid back , letting his eyes drift off again.- // -Cadence bit her lip in anticipation  then nodded slowly at Sasha, glancing over at Jacque before she spoke out- Yes....-she trailed off, because she wasn't able to really read  Sasha's face about the situation. She looked at Remy, her hand giving his a nervous squeeze. -
Alexithymiaa: -Adam let out a small laugh, correcting Jacque. "Adam. It's okay, though." He looked over at Hayley, leaning towards her. "It's better this way."-
Musik: -Harper heard the word marriage and spun around, for some reason thinking it was about Adam and Hayley. When she realized it wasn't, she moved passed everyone again and moved to walk up the stairs to her room to cry some more.-

Look in the goddamn card!” Remy exclaimed, holding Cadence’s hand but waving his free hand in the direction of the card. //Hayley nodded her head reluctantly then shook her head at Jacque then her eyes widened at Sasha’s words. “Wait what?” She asked loudly. “Since when?” Hayley asked. //”I’m bad with names.” She told Adam. Jacque heard Sasha and rolled her eyes. “Yes they’re getting married! Now open the card before Remiel has a goddamn aneurysm for Christ sakes!” She scoffed. // Sasha’s eyes remained wide as he opened the card since he was pretty much forced to. “Oh shiiit.” He grinned as he pulled out the tickets. “Oh wow! This is awesome. This is a great present actually. One for me and one for a hot date!” Sasha said with gratitude before looking between them. “Okay but really are they getting married. They’re like, kids. Oh… THE FUCKING TATTOO! I WAS WONDERING WHAT THAT MEANT!” Sasha said as he pointed at them. “Well… I never thought my son would actually want to marry anybody…”

Covet: -Eli PTFO outside, getting eaten alive by mosquitos and shit.- // -Cadence laughed nervously until he was urged to look at the tickets in the card, and smiled happily, letting go of his hand. She swallowed as he pointed at them- I think it's safe to say I was just as shocked when he asked me, as well.  But yeah, the tattoo is part of it.  -she looked at Hayley then laughed lightly- I'll give you the details later.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam leaned to one side to look over at Remy and Cadence, just kind of gawking because he didn't see that shit coming at all. "Wow... well this seems like a family moment, so I'm just going to head upstairs and let ya'll have this for yourselves. But it was really nice to meet you." He dipped his head gently to Jacque first, walking passed with Lady and nodding to Sasha before disappearing up the stairs to process the fact that fucking Remy was fucking engaged.-
Tsaaq: Remy threw his head back and began to groan. “Oh my god. Don’t make this like such a big ass deal okay?” He said exasperatedly, rubbing his hand down his face. “Mom didn’t make a big deal about it.” // Hayley waved at Adam lazily before going over to Remy and Cadence. “Um, okay. This is…” She exhaled angrily before frowning. “This is bullshit.” Hayley finally said. // "Hey! Watch your fucking mouth!" She said then shook her head. "This is good. We should be happy about this shit." Jacque said loudly. // "Everybody calm the fuck down people live here and we're loud and from New Jersey so lower your goddamn voices!" Sasha said, ironically shouting as well. "Okay but you knew about this and you didn't tell me?" Sasha asked. "Are you guys sure?"
Covet: -Cadence pursed her lips trying  not to laugh-  I mean, yeah we're pretty sure. We've talked about it a few times and we keep coming back to the same conclusion. This is if you'll have me. -she said asking Sasha, then at both Hayley and Jacque-
Tsaaq: He furrowed his eyebrows. "No, whatever, we're getting married regardless. I don't give a fuck if people disagree or anything. All you can do is sit there and be mad about it." Remy chimed in. // "This is stupid." Hayley said dismissively with her hands crossed and turned to walk away, going up the stairs to her room and slamming the door. // Jacque shrugged her shoulders. "Calm the fuck down, nobody doesn't want you to get married. We'd be hypocrites, of course we're fine with it-" She said before noticing Hayley storming away. "Damn it." Jacque sighed before looking back at the group. "I'll go talk to her." She muttered, going up the stairs. // Sasha stayed silent then pursed his lips. "I just don't want either of you to make a mistake that you'll regret." He said softly with a shrug then turned to watch Jacque and Hayley leave. "Well, if this is what you both want to do I can't stop you can I? I'm still worried dad though. You understand." Sasha said.
Covet: -Cadence looked over at Remy, swallowing the lump in her throat as Sasha spoke and watched as Hayley stormed off with Jacque behind her.-  Thank you for being worried, it's appreciated, and totally understandable. -She took a deep breath-  I want him...and this...-she said moving her hands around  to include Sasha, Jacque and Hayley.- in all it's  in-lawesomeness. -she chuckled, looking over at Remy, expecting an eyeroll for her dumb ass puns.-
Tsaaq: Remy scoffed at Hayley and shook his head. "Thanks for the concern Sasha but I don't think you should worry about whether or not we're ready." He said sarcastically then tossed him his keys. "Have a safe trip, Happy Father's Day." Remy said, giving him a side pat hug then looking over at Cadence. "I'm really ready to leave." He told her. // "Alright." Sasha nodded his head, a slight smile coming onto his lips as he looked at Cadence. "Well, then you have my blessing-" He started to say before sighing at Remy. "Well, thank you both for such a great present. I can't wait." Sasha said, patting Remy's back hard. "Well, you two keep in touch. Or else." He said playfully.

Covet: [Before it kills you entirely. x.x XD that works!] -Cadence smiled and gave him a wave- No problem, and Thank you Sasha, we will.  -she waved then walked out after Remy towards her vehicle to get in and head back to the apartment.-
