  1. >The hour passes with the same back and fourth of questions going on between you and Twilight,
  2. >Through the hour, you learn that you are in a place that the ponies call Ponyville, which is a part of the nation of Equestria. You also learn about the different species of Pony, and agree to come back soon to play twenty questions again.
  3. >She on the other hand, mostly asks questions you don't really have answers to. Questions about your species as a whole, questions about what you remember, and questions about this other anonymous that showed up in town a few days before you.
  4. >You feel a bit sorry for your new pony friend, seeing as you couldn't really help her with the bad anon, or your biology, but nothing can really be done about that. It seems as though perhaps in the dream you're locked away from most of your memories.
  5. >For now though, The purple pony has suggested that he two of you go talk to the mayor of ponyville, and attempt to reconcile your name in the eyes of the town.
  6. Well. Okay, that sounds like a good idea.
  7. >You'll likely have to speak up in front of a crowd of small talking horses so, check that stage fright at the door.
  8. Uh.
  9.
  10. 1/?
  11.
  12. >You follow Twilight as she leads you through the town, paying attention when she points out a building and tells you about it.
  13. >"There's Sugar Cube Corner, best bakery around, It's owned by the Cakes, Mr. and Mrs. but maybe stay away until you're seen as less of a danger to the town."
  14. >She singles out a few of the ponies and introduces you. One in particular, with an orange coat, freckles, green eyes, and an awesome cowboy hat.
  15. >"This is Applejack. Honest, friendly, and humble, and one of my best friends"
  16. >"Well howdy there Mr. Anonymous. Sorry fer the whole ghost-town-welcome you had to go through when you got here, people were scared, and I'm not ashamed to say I was a bit wary as well."
  17. It's fine, Twilight here told me about what the other anonymous did, and frankly i'm surprised (and grateful) you all didn't just attack on sight
  18. >The orange pony, Applejack, chuckles at what you say, and you instantly decide you like her.
  19. >"Alright you two, enough chit-chat, the sooner we clear your name anon, the sooner we can get the town back into it's normal routine."
  20. >The walk takes a few more minutes, and in your boredom you begin humming again, attracting the attention of a few more of the horse-err ponies.

  22.
  23. 2/?
  24.
  25. >By the time you've finished the song, Twilight appears to be quietly humming after you, and Applejack is tapping a hoof to the beat. There also is another pony who has decided to follow you, she is a pristine white, with a purple mane, that your mind immediately defines as squiggly, she looks lovely.
  26. >You've also arrived at your destination, so before you get a chance to properly acknowledge the newcomer, you're dragged into the building behind Twilight.
  27. >"Mayor Mare? Are you in Here? I'd like to ask you something." Turning to you she semi-whispers, " Sit in here, I'll call you in if She asks to talk to you, otherwise just try not to scare anypony."
  28. Sure, I guess.
  29. >Today has been a day to sit and listen mostly it seems. You look around, and see a few magazines on the miniature table next to the mini chair you barely fit on.
  30. >You scan the room, this being a political official's office, it seems likely that there'd be a receptionist of some kind manning a desk, and sure enough there is.
  31. Umm, Hello? Excuse me Miss Receptionist, could I look at some of the magazines while I wait?
  32. >She replies nonchalantly, and without looking up: " That's what they're like, there for, you know?"
  33. Right.
  34. >You grab a few of the magazines, and look through them. Unfortunately for you they appear to be written in another language. You still look through them, and instead of reading, you simply enjoy the images.
  35.
  36. 3/?
  37.
  38. >After about a quarter of an hour, Twilight steps out of the mayor's office and motions for you to come inside with her.
  39. >You do, and once inside, are told to introduce yourself to an older looking mare sporting a tan coat, and a grey mane.
  40. Hello, I'm Anon, it's a pleasure to meet you.
  41. >You extend a hand without really thinking about it, and she leans back into her chair, afraid apparently that you might be trying to attack her
  42. >After an awkward second or two, you pull your hand back, and she introduces herself, and apologizes for her initial response.
  43. >"I hope you can forgive me Mr Anonymous, it's just that-"
  44. Yes, ma'am, I understand, Twilight here told me about what the other anon did.
  45. >Well you certainly seem to be a better guest than your predecessor, so I'll agree to set up an introduction to the town, but ultimately it'll be up to you to convince the town's people that you are different, and not a danger.
  46. I was afraid you'd say that, but even so, I am grateful for the opportunity. When should I be ready to speak?
  47. >"I'll have the town gathered in an hour. I hope I'm not making a mistake in this, but I trust Twilight Sparkle here, and if she vouches for you, then I'm sure you can't be too bad."
  48.
  49. 4/?
  50.
  51. >You have an hour to prepare, and Twilight suggests that the first thing the two of you do, is head on down to a pony by the name Rarity's boutique
  52. Sounds like a plan
  53. >You head over in silence, following Twilight Sparkle, paying attention when she dispenses information about the town, about some of the ponies you pass, and just about equestrian society in general.
  54. >You arrive at what looks like a carousel on the outside, and twilight motions for you to follow her inside the odd structure.
  55. >"Rarity, you here? Your door was unlocked, so I'm guessing you are."
  56. >Silence for a few seconds
  57. >Then a lovely voice from upstairs
  58. >"Twilight? Is that you darling? Just hold on for a second dear I'll be right down"
  59. >The same Pristine white coat you remember following your humming comes down the stairs, and you wait to be introduced.
  60. >"Hello there twilight and Mr. ..?"
  61. Anonymous, no need for the mister, just Anonymous or Anon will do.
  62. >"Of course, how can I hep you two?"
  63. >"You're not afraid of him Rarity?" Twilight asks with a hint of surprise in her eyes and tone.
  64. >"Well, when I first saw him I was, but when I heard his music. Well anyone that can produce such lovely noise earns a star in my book. Besides, I pride myself on being an excellent judge of character."
  65.
  66. 5/?
  67.
  68. >Sure.
  69. >"Ok, well regardless of that, we need some emergency clothes for him." Twilight says, motioning at you to come forward.
  70. Nothing frilly I hope (although i'm not really in a position to make demands).
  71. >"Oh of course not, frilly would definitely not suit someone with such a silhouette as yours. What you need is bold, but understated. Yes I can see it now, just let me take a few measurements, and then I'll ask that you leave me be so that I may work unhindered."
  72. >This marshmallow pony appears to have quite the flair for drama, you two should get along swimmingly.
  73. Ok, well do you need me to do anything in specific? or do I just spread my arms out or-
  74. >"Yes come over here" Rarity points at a small raised portion of the floor, and measures your legs.
  75. >She brushes against your junk a few times, but only softly, so that she likely didn't notice.
  76. >She then asks you to step off the raised portion, and attempts to measure your arms, she can't quite reach, so she levitates her tape up, and measures you that way instead. The process takes about ten minutes to be completed, and once it has been, she assures you that you won't need to worry about paying her, she's doing this as "a welcome gift of sorts".
  77. >You didn't notice at first, being occupied with getting your measurements, but it appears that Twilight has taken off, perhaps to help with the preparations for your time in the spotlight.
  78. >You hum again
  79. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAOR6ib95kQ
  80.
  81. 6/?
  82.
  83. >You've been humming an awful lot lately.
  84. It helps me stay calm
  85. >"Who are you talking to?"
  86. >You jump at the sudden voice, you look around but see no one, perhaps you imagined this voice as well?
  87. >"Up here big guy"
  88. >You look up to see a blue pony sitting on a cloud. She has a rainbow mane, and wings.
  89. >"Sorry if I startled you, but imagine my surprise when I'm just sitting up here reading, and I hear a voice I don't recognize, responding to the empty air."
  90. Well ok, you have a good point there. How are you sitting, or rather laying on that cloud?
  91. >She flaps her wings, and says "Pretty cool huh? Comes with being a pegasus, great for pulling pranks on unsuspecting victims."
  92. Yeah, I imagine. So listen I know I've just met you and there seems to be a sorta bad taste in everyone's mouth for me, but could you do me a favor?
  93. >"Depends on the favor, and on the reward."
  94. Could you help me find a purple Unicorn by the name of Twilight Sparkle, she's gone off, and I don't really know anyone else, maybe Applejack if you can't find Twilight.
  95. >"Oh, ok sure if you're a friend of theirs, then your a friend of mine!"
  96. You know those two?
  97. >"They're only some of my best friends."
  98. Awesome, I'm Anon by the way.
  99. >"Nice to meet'cha anon, I'm Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of Equestria" She says wearing a smile full of pride and joy.
  100. Alright, well I'll just sit here until you come back then.
  101. >With that the Blue pegasus known as Rainbow Dash took off towards the town.
  102.
  103. 7/?
  104.
  105. >You twiddle your thumbs
  106. >What are the ponies going to ask you about?
  107. >How are you going to convince them you aren't a bad guy?
  108. Calm down guy.
  109. >Wanna hum again?
  110. Not really.
  111. >Deep breaths then.
  112. >After a few minutes of calming yourself down, you hear some rustling in some bushes behind you
  113. Hello?
  114. >Silence, but the same feeling you had when everyone was hiding and watching you
  115. I'm not the bad anon, you can come out.
  116. >A bunny hops out of a large bush nearby, and approaches you
  117. >It's white, and seems upset about something so you keep an eye on it. It wouldn't do to be bitten by some rabid bunny.
  118. >It stops at about arms reach, but you don't try and grab it, instead you look into it's eyes for any kind of redness to signal hydrophobia.
  119. >You don't see any, but you're still not taking any chances, you stand up, and slowly back away from the thing, which seems to be oozing malice at this point.
  120. >"Angel where'd you go?" comes a quiet and very shy sounding voice from the bush.
  121. Is Angel a bunny, because I think he's over here, and he's kinda freaking me out right now.
  122. >"Oh my, I'm sorry, he's just very protective of things, he doesn't mean anyth-"
  123. >She stops as she exits the bush, her eyes wide, and fixated on you.
  124. >A yellow Pegasus with a pink mane and tail.
  125.
  126. 8/?
  127.
  128. >You get an odd sense of dread as this yellow pony stares at you for an uncomfortably long time
  129. Um.
  130. >You finally break the silence
  131. >"Oh dear, I'm sorry, it's just that I've never seen an animal like you before. And you can talk too, how wonderful."
  132. >There is a definite hint of blush on this pony's face for whatever reason
  133. Yes, well um, there's your bunny, and I think I'm needed elsewhere so farewell, perhaps we'll see each other again, until then good day.
  134. >You flee the uncomfortable scene.
  135.
  136. 9/?
  137.
  138. >It's almost time anyway, and Rainbow has not shown up, so perhaps you should just go down to the mayor's office again.
  139. >Halfway there, you see Rainbow flying overhead, and call out to her.
  140. >She stops in midair, and comes down to you.
  141. >"Hey there guy, sorry I took so long in coming back, I got roped into helping Twi and the others set up the stage.
  142. Stage?
  143. >"Oh yeah, you're giving a speech or something right?"
  144. Y-Yeah I suppose.
  145. >"Well they sent me to come find you, and here you are so let's go!"
  146. >Dash takes off, and you jog to try and keep up, on the way into town square you bump into someone seeing as you had your eyes on the sky.
  147. Oooff, Sorry about that.
  148. >"It's quite alright dear, in fact I'm glad you've found me, your outfit is ready, and I must say it came out wonderfully"
  149. >You've bumped into rarity it seems, and before you know it you're being dragged away, and are being changed like a child
  150. I can do it myself, thank you rarity.
  151. >"She pouts, but takes the hint and steps out of the alleyway she dragged you into.
  152. >You wish for the first time in a long time, that you were wearing underwear.
  153.
  154. 10/?
  155.
  156. >You change outfits with no incident, although rarity does get a good look at your ass, and is blushing a bit as you leave the alley in your new outfit
  157. >It fits well, a little tight at the shoulders, but otherwise perfect. And it looks pretty good too, with mostly darker hues of blue and green. These are likely the best clothes you've had since you were a kid.
  158. >She has you pose for her, and being the guy you are, you turn the posing into a joke, and after it all you laugh together at your antics
  159. >You notice that the square is sorta starting to become packed full of ponies, and decide it's time to get up on stage.
  160. Wish me luck Rarity.
  161. >"Darling with that outfit on, anyone who doesn't like you is a fool." she says the best possible thing, and helps to ease your nerves.
  162. >Twilight is up on stage too, leafing through a stack of note cards.
  163. >"After this is all said and done, I'm going to take you up to Canterlot to see the Princess, she's requested your presence immediately."
  164. >And there goes the worst possible thing she could have said
  165. >Now you're freaking out, and you begin to hum again.
  166.
  167. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isXW-lMyEEM&list=PL5EA3A15CDE02A13A&index=34
  168.
  169. >Your humming lasts until it's your turn to go up, and people have heard the lovely little tunes in you. Many are smiling, and you decide, what the hell, it's not like if you fail to convince them anything will change.
  170. Hello everyone, I'm sorry that You've had such a negative experience with someone like me. I can't promise any of you that I am 100% good, and even if I did, I doubt it would sway your opinions of me. I can however promise you, that I am not a bad person, and I do pray that you all can look past what has happened and look forward to brighter days with all of us living in harmony.
  171. >You begin to hum again. Cheesy speeches were never your favorite, but they did often work, and so you delivered one you thought they might like.
  172. >The mayor thanks you for the words, and many people leave in a seemingly happier manner. Some stay behind to talk with each other, a few come up and say hello introducing themselves. One stays off in the distance just staring.
  173.
  174.
  175. 11/11
  176.
  177. End of Part Two
