  1. Iron Man Vol 3 #37-41
  2.
  3. So Iron Man, who at this point has a secret identity is kinda reunited with his high school friend Ty...something, and he's created this virtual reality device that can project whatever you wish to see on it. Tony goes to see his girlfriend Rumiko, but she's sick of him ignoring her, and she's done with him. Plus she's married to ty, I think. Yeah, I don't really get it. Tony goes to try to patch things up with his now ex, and he sees Ty under a blanket doing his ex from behind. See, I remembered something about this! :P Oh, that and Rumiko is really fucking hot!
  4.
  5. Second issue makes a very good impression. Tony Star dual wielding pistols and firing em, fuck yeah! But yeah, back to the present, Ty apologized and says that he didn't know that Tony and Ru were dating, but Ru says that they're not anymore, and she can do what she wants. Sad. Anyways, apparently Whiplash is dead now, and Tony Stark is the suspect.
  6.
  7. They call Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil and he helps him out in this news interview. One of the reporters sexually harasses one of Tonys's female friends and so another one of his friends says "report this" and decks him. You go buddy! He starts to apologize to Tony for losing his temper, and Tony's all "don't be, he had it coming. Later the same reporter tries to interview him as iron man, and he breaks his mic! Awesome!
  8.
  9. Anyways, the villain radioactive man kidnaps Ty, and Iron Man goes to save him, and he has a hard time because he's a lot more powerful than now apparently. It ends with Tony getting hit with a really powerful blast. Not good.
  10.
  11. On a side note, there's an ad where you can get a free 3 month subscription to Ultimate X_men if you pay for the shipping. Would have loved to know that back then...well, if I was reading comics back then anyways
  12.
  13. And wow, this comic is so much better since I'm able to talk about it. It's too early to tell if this topic is gonna catch on, but I'm really glad I have an excuse to type all this up!
  14.
  15. Onto issue 3 of this arc, man, so many great plot twists. Tony Thinks that one of his old rivals is behind the framing, and he get him to gloat, telling him that how Ty's parents died in an accident out of grief because Howard Stark crushed his business, and it was suicide. Donahue took advantage of TY, and taught him everything he knew so he could take out Tony.
  16.
  17. Anyways, plot twist again, it turns out TY is behind the framing of Tony. Donahue isn't so much as gloating as much as he telling him that he himself is fucked. Ty somehow gave him a disease that the doctors don't even recognize, and Donahue can go at any second. Wow...
  18.
  19. The plot twists keep on turning as Tony goes to confront Ty, to find out that he hated his dad, and saw him as a weakling that would have gotten screwed over regardless. Turns out that ty caused the accident that killed his parents! Oh fuck!
  20.
  21. On a side note, there's an anti "wacky weed" ad in this issue. It's so true weed is so bad for you. I smoked some last christmas and I sat on the couch with my mom and her boyfriend for several hours laughing to big bang theory, and watched all the Planet of the Apes movies and still think considering its size, it's the most consistently great movie series out there! Do you wanna sit on a couch and watch a really funny sitcom and awesome movies? Yeah, I didn't think so!
  22.
  23. The last 2 issues. Tony gets stuck trapped in Ty's VR machine, or actually I should say Ty's mind via the vr machine, and he goes through all these phases, his childhood, the death of Howard stark, all these weird places like Alice in wonderland. Eventually he's in ancient Greece, and Ty is now Julius Caesar. But Tony overcomes him through sheer willpower.
  24.
  25. Ty pretends to be weakened, in a wheelchair and all, but Tony sees right through him, and he knows he'll get him. Oh, and he's now dating Rumiko.
  26.
  27. Finally at the last issue, Ty is now addicted to his own vr machine, but he won't admit it. Tony does a bunch of good. Punching a creep at a bar who's about to assault a woman, and donning the iron man suit and saving hundreds from Ty, but the media just spins it to where Tony and Iron man did evil with these acts. Tony can't take it, and he says to Pepper and his other friend that he's giving up. He's giving them the company and moving on. Sad.
  28.
  29. Wow, what an awesome story arc this was!
