- THE CASTING GAME
- Premise:
- You have finally opened your own film studio and are producing your first project. The genre can be anything you want it to be. While it will be necessary to hire a director, writer, composer, etc before things really get off the ground, you have decided to kick things off by locking down the cast to ensure they are available whenever you start filming. The relationships between the roles are up to you.
- Objective:
- You have a budget of 1,000,000 casting credits to spend to fill 9 roles. A 10th role will be filled once the original 9 are cast. The amount of casting credits an actor costs will be determined by the following parameters.
- Rules:
- ● Best Actor/Actress Oscar Winners: 250,000
- ● Best Actor/Actress Oscar Nominees: 200,000
- ● Best Supporting Actor/Actress Oscar Winners: 200,000
- ● Best Supporting Actor/Actress Oscar Nominees: 150,000
- ● Best Lead Actor/Actress Emmy/Globe/Tony/BAFTA Winners: 200,000
- ● Best Lead Actor/Actress Emmy/Globe/Tony/BAFTA Nominees: 150,000
- ● Best Supporting Actor/Actress Emmy/Globe/Tony/BAFTA Winners: 150,000
- ● Best Supporting Actor/Actress Emmy/Globe/Tony/BAFTA Nominees: 100,000
- ● Actors/Actresses with Major Roles in $1,000,000,000+ Earners: 100,000
- ● All Remaining Actors/Actresses: 50,000
- NOTE: The highest eligible cost takes precedent.
- Call Sheet:
- ● At least one cast member must be 50+ years old
- ● At least two cast members must be 25 years old or under
- ● At least three cast members must identify as a minority gender
- (ex. if you have 6 cast members who identify as female, the remaining 3 must identify as something else; male, enby, trans, etc)
- 10th Cast Member:
- Once you have cast your 9 main roles. You may pick any one co-star of a lower billing from any one cast member’s filmography to add to the cast for free.
