☛ background: mari was born in busan, south korea and lived there for the first twelve years of her life. she was always very close with her family, and despite the six year age gap, she was the closest to her brother. when she was twelve, her brother was accepted into a college in seoul, and because her family wanted to be near him, they all moved there. two years later, when she was fourteen, mari auditioned for a relatively wellknown company, and trained for four years. when she was seventeen, she debuted as part of the duo LUCID, and surprisingly, they became relatively well known and won many awards.

☛ personality: mari is a funloving girl who is a child at heart. she tends to laugh at everything, and she's extremely outgoing. there's something about her that makes people comfortable immediately, and she loves to joke around. she has a habit of spacing out at random times, and has wide eyes that give her a look of innocence. she's a bit traditional, in the sense that she's never even thought of dating before, and she's not exactly the type to be girly and fit in a relationship. she's extremely hardworking, and hates procrastination. at times, she can be very loud and sassy at times, and has a hard time taking anything seriously. even though she's older than most of her friends, she's considered the "baby" because of how childlike she acts. despite how she can look and act, mari does sometimes act uncharacteristic in the sense that she has a dirty mind. she'll take things in the wrong way, and won't be afraid to voice it no matter who's around her. its surprising and a bit weird when people find out someone who seems so naive and innocent can have such a vulgar mouth. most people are taken aback when they get to know her because of how dynamic her personality is, and how sometimes she comes off as almost bipolar. she jokes around and is extremely outgoing to cover up the fact that she has difficulty understanding and conveying her emotions. she's not exactly sure how she's supposed to act in certain situations, and often times doesn't know what she's feeling (eg. she wouldn't know if she was jealous) which often times causes her to come off as uncaring/ignorant and obnoxious.

☛ personality: in his group, he's been voted the shyest and most pure of the members. but, he's also probably the least awkward out of them, and he's the type of person to make you instantly comfortable around him. he's extremely kind and caring, and loves to joke around. at first, he seems quiet, like the type who wouldn't talk, but once you get to know him, he starts joking around and becomes a bit hard to handle. he's not scared to make fun of anyone (*cough* on asc when he kept talking bout hwanhee's bowel problems) and he's doesn't mind being made fun of either, as long as its in a joking matter. he's almost completely shameless in everything, and is extremely playful and easygoing.

☛ first interaction: where did you guys meet, how did they both act, etc.
  » they were both given a "mission card" type of thing that told them to attend a trivia night at a certain restaurant. they were given a list of a few traits of the other person, and told to find the other by the end of the night. mari, who doesn't have the best guessing skills, was struggling to figure out the clues, but coincidentally ended up recognizing him and figuring out that he was her husband. then, they teamed up to do the rest of the trivia night together. at the beginning they were both shy and didn't say much to each other, but by the end of the night, they were comfortable and talking normally because of how competitive they were and how much they wanted to win.
  » OOOOOOOOOOORRR they were both put at opposite ends of a maze (yknow like the ones made out of hedges) and told to navigate through it and find each other

☛ his first impression: he thought she was adorable, and was shocked when he found out she was older than him and that she was so loud and could be extremely vulgar. he recognized her from watching LUCID's debut a while back, as well as seeing them on a few variety shows.

☛ her first impression: she thought he was hilarious, and didn't understand why him and his group never got much credit. she remembered being excited when watching their debut mv, and being slightly jealous that jimin met him twice (because of asc man.)

☛ future interaction/s: after their first date, both of them are extremely comfortable around each other. they don't really treat their relationship as a marriage, but rather as friends getting to know each other. they're always joking around with each other, and the viewers see them as a couple as the stereotype of dating your best friend.

☛ how his group members act around her: at first, they were a bit standoffish towards her because he was their most pure member and they wanted to make sure she didn't do anything to ruin him. later on though, once they got to know her a bit better, they started to treat her like a little sister.

☛ how she acts around his group members: she acts like she always does around them, being playful and joking around and treating them like they've been friends for a while.

☛ how he acts around her group members: he tried his best to act as normal and polite as he could around seunghyun, to prove he was a gentleman who wouldn't defile mari in any sort of way.

  » he takes her to an exotic tea shop / to have high tea or something, and they talk about life and stuff and when the tea comes, she drinks all of it (because she's a tea maniac) and he just sits there, and at the end she feels bad because she finds out he doesn't like tea, but then he says something cheesy like "its okay, as long as i get to spend time with you" (thats so cringe worthy bye)
  » him making them watch a horror music because he knows she's scared of them, and not even five minutes into the movie and they're both clinging to each other and closing their eyes because whoOPS he forgot he was deathly afraid of horror movies too
