GENERAL RULES

1.1.

1.2.
Do not advertise other Habbo Retros; hotel links or purposely mentioning the name of another hotel with the intentions of advertising is not permitted.	•	No warnings.	•  Permanent machine IP ban.	Advertising.
1.3.
Do not attempt to or scam credits or furniture from other users through betting, gaming, or trading.	•	No warnings.	•	Permanent user ban
•	Permanent IP ban.
•	Permanent machine ban.	Attempting to or successfully scamming credits or furniture from [USERNAME] through betting, gaming, or trading.
1.4.
Do not bully, harass, or abuse other users; avoid the violent or aggressive behavior.	•	One warning minimum.	•	1 day user ban. (1st Offence)
•	7 day user ban. (2nd Offence)
•	Permanent user ban.          (3rd Offence)	Bullying/Harassing/Abusing [USERNAME] after given a warning.
1.5.
Do not disclose any personal information of another user (e.g., address, IP Address, phone number, school) without their consent.	•	One warning maximum if unintentional.
•	No warnings if intentional.	•	Permanent user ban.
•	Permanent IP ban.
•	Mute the user whilst you are banning.	Disclosing [USERNAME]’s personal information without their consent.
1.6.
Do not excessively repeat identical or similar statements (spamming).	•	One warning minimum.
	•	10 minute mute. (1st Offence)
•	2 hour user ban. (2nd Offence)	Excessively repeating identical or similar statements (spamming) after given a warning.
1.7.
Users are to not participate in any sexual, inappropriate, or generally objective acts towards other users without their prior consent.	•	One warning minimum.	•	Maximum 2 hour user ban.	Acting sexual, inappropriate, or generally objective acts towards the user [USERNAME] without their prior consent.
1.8.
Do not make rooms with inappropriate or abusive names.	•	One warning minimum.	•	After warning, use the MOD Tool to mark the room as inappropriate to hotel management.
•	If the user continues to select inappropriate names, a 2 hour user ban is to be issued maximum.	Consistently creating rooms with inappropriate names after given a warning.
1.9.
Do not attempt to or successfully harm a user’s home internet connection.	•	One warning maximum if threatening.
•	No warnings if successful. 	•	Permanent user ban.
•	Permanent IP ban.	Attempting to or successfully harming [USERNAME]’s home internet connection/
1.10.
Do not disrupt events with explicit language or negative behavior.	•	One warning minimum.	•	Issue the user a strike on the GOTW Strike Form.
•	Remove the user from events if they continue.

ACCOUNT

2.1.
Do not attempt to or give away, buy, sell, or trade your Habflex Hotel account and/or Habflex items for virtual items from another game, accounts from another game, cash, or vice versa without permission from an Administrator. This includes giving away, buying, selling or trading Habflex furniture/currency for Habbo furniture/currency or vice versa.	•	One warning minimum if attempting.
•	No warnings if successful. 	•	Permanent user ban.	Attempting to or successfully giving away, selling, or trading your Habflex Hotel account and/or Habflex items for virtual items from another game, accounts from another game, cash, or vice versa without permission from an Administrator.
2.2.
Do not create a username with an offensive name that is insulting, racist, harassing, or generally objectionable.	•	No warnings.	•	The user is given a name change from an Adminstrator+. If they refuse to use this, issue a permanent account ban.	Inappropriate username. Feel free to create a new account with an appropriate username.
2.3.
Do not evade an IP Address ban.	•	No warnings.	•	Permanent user ban.
•	Permanent IP ban.
•	Permanent machine ban.	Evading an IP Address ban.
2.4.
Do not share your account with other users.	•	No warnings.	•	Permanent user ban.	Sharing your account with [USERNAME].
2.5.
Do not threaten to, attempt to, or hack other users' accounts.	•	One warning minimum if threatening.
•	No warnings if successful.	•	Permanent user ban.
•	Permanent IP ban.	Threatening or attempting to hack [USERNAME]’s account.
2.6.
Do not create multiple accounts for the purpose of taking an advantage over gaining more in-game currency and/or rares of any kind.	•	No warnings.	•	Permanent user ban.
•	Alert a staff member of the rank of Administrator or above to wipe their account.	Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of gaining more in-game currency and/or rares.

2.7.
Do not re-appeal your ban unless stated otherwise. This means if you re-appeal in 2 days after your first appeal was denied and you were told to re-appeal in 2-3 weeks, you will be banned from the forum as well as the hotel.
•	No warnings.
•	Permanent IP ban.

Habflex HOTEL

3.1.
Do not attempt to or exploit errors of Habflex Hotel; report it to the Administration immediately.	•	No warnings.	•  Permanent user ban.
•  Permanent IP ban.	Attempting to, or successfully exploiting the errors of Habflex Hotel.
3.2.
Do not attempt to or refund your VIP Membership or donation to Habflex Hotel at any given time; all payments are final.	•	No warnings.	•	Permanent user ban.	Breaking Habflex Hotel’s refund policy. Contact Cosmo via the forums if you wish to dispute this ban.
3.3.
Do not intentionally give wrong or misleading information to staff members in reports about rule violations, complaints, bug reports, or support requests.	•	One warning minimum.	•	3 day user ban.	Intentionally giving wrong or misleading information to staff members in reports about rule violations, complaints, bug reports, or support requests after given a warning.
3.4.
Do not make false statements against Habflex Hotel or any other part of its services.	•	One warning minimum.	•	7 day user ban.	Making false statements against Habflex Hotel or any other part of its services after given a warning.
3.5.
Do not pretend to be a representative of Habflex Hotel or claim to have their powers.	•	One warning minimum.	•	1 day user ban.	Pretending to be a representative of Habflex Hotel or claiming to have their powers after given a warning.
3.6.
Do not threaten to, attempt to, or use any scripts or third party software to enter, disrupt, or modify Habflex Hotel.	•	No warning.	•	Permanent user ban.
•	Permanent IP ban.
•	Permanent machine ban.	Threatening to, attempting to, or using any scripts or third party software to enter, disrupt, or modify Habflex Hotel.
3.7.
Non-harmful auto-typing, auto-clicking and other programs can only be used if you are the room owner or with permission from the room owner.	•	One warning minimum.	•	1 day user ban.	Utilising an auto-typer/auto-clicker in another user’s room without permission.

If a ban does not meet any of the above criteria, a custom ban may be filled out by an administrator or above. If so, the following format should be used:

•	[Custom Ban] See [Staff Member] for more information regarding your ban.

If a moderator wishes to utilize a custom ban, they must first receive permission from an administrator.
All custom bans must be within reason. Abuse of the custom ban feature is routinely checked, and will result in your automatic removal from your Staff Position.

It is also worth noting that this is merely a guideline, and you are expected to use your best judgement at all times. If you feel deviation from the ban guide is necessary, use your judgement when making the appropriate decision.
