Stream plans for August 2017

I've been working towards sub 3 in KH2FM Beginner Any% for around a month now and I'm only one more substantial PB away, so we're nearly done. After that happens I'm going to be trying my best to take my streams up a level.

Once August starts in a few days, I will be attempting to stream every single day for that month (I will take a day off if I absolutely need it, don't worry). The main reason for this is because July has been an awful month for me and I feel like I owe you guys for being patient. Most of the time I've been gone this month hasn't really been my fault, but only streaming for half of the days this month is still terrible. I feel like I've fallen off a bit due to things out of my control, so a fresh start to next month is exactly what I need.

List of what I intend to do in August 2017:

- Get sub 3 hours in 2FM Beginner Any% (unless I get it in the last few days of July) (done)
- Stream (all of?) Crash N. Sane Trilogy (never played any crash games so it should be fun LUL) (done)
- Choose a game to learn and run for the 5th edition of the 12 hour speedrun challenge ( https://pastebin.com/ghaigS9E ) (done)
- Learn and run 2FM Critical Mode Any% at least for a little while (won't know an exact goal until I do some runs) (done)
- Stream Life is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 1 (Comes out August 31st, probably doing it at midnight release) (done)

I was involved with the previous 12 hour challenge earlier this year and want to take it on again. I would like to take on the theme this year as well which is "tag team". I've decided to try my hand at the pikmin series (some of my favorite games on the gamecube). Pikmin is essentially a real time strategy game where you command multiple varieties of creatures to carry collectibles back to your base. I'm debating between Pikmin 1 or Pikmin 2. If I learn Pikmin 1 it will be the All Ship Parts category. If I learn Pikmin 2 it will be the repay the debt category (It would be a bit much to learn All Treasures in the 12 hour time frame).

I don't know how I will handle Crash, it depends what I think of it. If I really enjoy I will consider doing all 3 games 100%, but no promises. I will most likely at least play through the required portions of Crash 1, 2 and 3. I intended to do this in July, but because of a bunch of complications it didn't happen. Crash is certainly coming soon though, I promise. Before you ask if I'll do speedruns of the games, I don't know. I don't plan to, but things certainly can change.

Not many people know this, but I played the first Life is Strange game this year in late January/early February on stream. This game was a roller coaster of emotions for me (like most people) and I loved every minute of it. I still look into things about this game about 6 months later and have grown to enjoy it quite a lot. I'm pretty interested in seeing what the prequel will be like, I'll get the tissues ready just in case though.

I want to start breaking into that casual territory for streams because doing runs for so many months I think is starting to get to me. So I plan to stream crash and LiS in August while balancing speedruns of what I see fit (in this case 2FM Crit and my 12 hour challenge game).

By the way, let me know if you like this idea for monthly plans of streams. Doing this has made me think of what exactly I want to do and keep myself organized. It also gives you all a chance to know what to expect from me each month.
