If you don't know about Ibn Taymiyyah(declared fatwa enabling Muslims to kill other Muslims if they didn't agree with their views and beliefs and style of worship), and actually , Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and Muhammad bin Saud(Ultra-conservative Salafism and Wahhabism(the belief of the Saudi authocratic Royal Family, who follow Ibn Taymiyyah, but also believe that dedicating a nice tomb and praying to your loved ones is idolatry and should be punished whilst the Saudi family can have a nice shrine dedicated to Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab(smells of hypocrisy here))), Sayyid Qutb(Muslim Brotherhood's Qubtism), and Osama Bin Laden's connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, the Suaid Family and later some mujihadeen and the Deobandi(Saudi funded) Taliban then you LACK EDUCATION ABOUT HOW ISLAMIC EXTREMISM CAME INTO BEING IN THE FIRST PLACE(and the salafist Saudi Family has a lot of influence in the islamic world since they have the city of Mecca where every muslim must go to on hajj(pilgrimage) once in their lifetime(this is obligatory for every muslim who is financially and physically able to perform it since it is one of the 5 fundemental pillars of Islam).

Ibn Taymiyyah carried out what he wanted in the fatwa, actively killing those who weren't his idea of "trve cvlt muslims". He was denounced and imprisoned by the Islamic mainstream in his time for some of his extremist ideas, but from the 18th century onwards the Saudi Family has propagated these violent extremist beliefs far and wide and now many Salafist jihadist terrorists use Ibn Taymiyyah to justify their atrocious crimes of terror and sadism.
