Hi Blanche George there are many good foods. Some are super expensive, some are reasonably priced. We look for a food that has a great history of no recalls. The food we feed is made by a family run company in the midwest and to my knowledge has had none. Then my general recipe is no wheat , no soy and maybe no corn.( there are a few foods that have corn that I would feed if I was on the road and could not find mine) We are having really good results for the past 7 years with NutriSource Pet Foods . We are currently feeding 60 setters and about 10 labs.
