  9. Votekick
  10. This item is used to kick a team player out of the room via voting. Press the CAPS LOCK button, select the desired name of the player to be kicked off the team and choose one of the reasons provided. The voting popup will appear near the top right corner of all the team members' screens except for the player that is to be kicked out and they are given 10 seconds to decide. Either press the F3 button to accept the vote or the F4 button to reject.
  11. After 10 seconds or if all players voted within 10 seconds, the result appears based on the majority's choice. A universal message stating "[Player's name] has been kicked out" will appear if that player was successfully kicked out while "[Player's name] has not been kicked out" will appear if the vote kick was unsuccessful.
  12. The time interval between each vote is 60 seconds. A person kicked out of the room will be unable to enter it until it's in Stand-by mode. With the recent update, there is a limit for using this item in a day for each player.

  26. You can call for a vote to kick if 3 minutes have passed since the start of the game, or you've played for more than 3 minutes in the room.
  27. You can call for the vote from the View Advanced Multiplayer Func. Window (Caps Lock key).

  41. Do not kick a player without a proper reason. Doing so might even get yourself kicked by others, this happens very often when that player kicked is from a family whose members coincidentally are playing in the room too.
  42. When kicking a player, tell your reason in the chat so that other players might rethink whether or not to reach an agreement.
  43. It is always generally recommended to kick any cheater or exploiter whenever possible, because one does not only disrupt the gameplay but also wastes everyone's time.
  44. Please be careful about whom the user suspects of being a hacker because at times, the hacker might just be a really skilled player.
  45. Vote to kick a player if that player lags really badly because it may affect other players as well, making it difficult to play. Usually, players like these are from foreign countries or are simply experiencing network issues.
  46. Vote to kick a player out only if he/she disrupts gameplay, not if the user of the vote kick has a dislike to that certain player.

  50. Previously, the vote kick background in shop had a ballot box beside the name list. It was removed afterwards.
  51. Regardless of situations, vote kick abuses are common so take them with a pinch of salt.
  52. After the 13 May 2015 update, this item was removed in Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies. It was added again after the Grievance Update patch.

  54. Votekicking
  55. Votekicking is a mechanic in Flooded Area, and can be used with the command /votekick [player] [reason]. When a votekick is initiated, and the player requirements are fulfilled, the player it is directed at will be kicked from the server for a few hours.
  56. Contents
  57. Overview [ ]
  58. To trigger a votekick, type the command, "/votekick [player] [reason]". The player name does not have to be their full name, and is not case-sensitive, but it cannot be their display name. The command must also include the reason, otherwise the votekick will not be triggered.
  59. An example of a votekick failing.
  60. When a votekick is initiated, a message will announce to the chat, "A vote kick on [victim] has been started by [votekick starter] for the reason of [reason]." A votekick GUI will then appear on the screens of all the players, giving them the option to either kick the player or not. Players will have 30 seconds to votekick the player.
  61. A votekick against a player succeeding.
  62. If the required number of players vote to kick the player, a loud vine boom will play and the player will be banned from the server for a few hours. If 30 seconds pass without the required amount of players, the votekick will fail and nothing will happen. There is a 30 second cooldown until the votekick command can be used again.
  63. A votekick can only be triggered if a reason is provided, otherwise it will not be started. Also, if you leave the server while a votekick is starting against you, you will immediately be banned regardless of how many players voted to kick you. It is also possible to votekick yourself from a server.
  64. Tips [ ]
  65. Votekicking is a very powerful mechanic, as it is capable of kicking players from servers. Therefore, it is important to use the command wisely.
  66.
  67. When the votekick GUI comes up, rather than automatically clicking "yes" and possibly push a player closer to an unfair server ban, you should take your time to consider the reason and decide if it is valid or not. Many unfair bans come from people mindlessly voting to kick the player without reading the reason.
  68. If you are votekicking a player for what you believe is a valid reason, try to explain the situation as clearly as you can in the reason to give the other players a good idea for why a votekick was triggered. Before you trigger the votekick, it is also important to consider to yourself if the reason you are votekicking is a valid one. Good reasons for votekicking are listed below.
  69.
  70. Good and Bad Reasons [ ]
  71. There are many possible reasons for votekicking, but they all vary in validity. Some examples of good and bad reasons for votekicking are listed below.
  72. Good Reasons [ ]
  73.
  74. Griefing: Griefing is typically a very good reason for a votekick. It is often defined as purposely destroying someone's creation in the game, which can often ruin hard work and the fun of others. However, there are limits to whether griefing is votekickable or not. Taking apart a small part of a boat is not considered griefing, and neither is griefing in a PVP Gamemode, where anything against the other team is allowed.
  75. Exploiting: Exploiting is another good reason for a votekick. Things like fly or speed hacks are considered exploits, which are against Roblox TOS. It can also be a good idea to use the Mod Call option to get the attention of the moderators. However, it is important to know if the player being accused is actually exploiting, since it could be possible that they are merely using the Gatherer or Bouncy perk, which boost speed and jump height, or it could be possible that they are a moderator with special privileges.
  76.
  77. Bad Reasons [ ]
  78.
  79. Dying: Dying in a round is not a good reason to votekick. Whether it be in PVP or any other gamemode, or with a sword, explosive or fart bomb, being killed by a player is not a valid reason for a votekick. Chaos and killing is part of the Flooded Area experience, and dying is a very common occurrence. It is best to accept your loss and move on.
  80. Part Playground: In most cases, griefing in the Part Playground is not a valid excuse for votekicking. Things like throwing parts into the Part Destroyer, taking apart small builds, or setting off bombs are not against the rules of Flooded Area. However, if a player is being particularly destructive and griefing everything inside the part playground with no mercy, it can be a reason for a votekick.
  81. False Votekicks: Falsely votekicking someone is one of the greatest offenses that can be committed with votekicking. Intentionally votekicking someone for a nonsensical reason that has nothing to do with the actual game is not allowed, and can get you banned from all of Flooded Area for a period of time.
  82.
  83. Trivia [ ]
  84.
  85. Moderators have special votekick protection privileges. When a user tries to votekick a moderator, a message will appear in the chat, stating "[votekick starter] is a nerd."
  86. If a player tries to votekick welololol or ArloActually, Flooded Area's main developers, they will be temporarily banned from the server after 60 seconds and also have 100 coins deducted from their account.
