We're nearing my return!

We're also nearing the birth of my 4th child.... any plans I may state here will obviously get put on hold whenever she should choose to show up.

It's a bit long, because I tend to have a lot to say.  TLDR? SGDQ submission thoughts and then my stream plans contained herein.

First, SGDQ. For those who don't know I DID end up submitting to SGDQ 2016. I submitted both 102% and any% - the former mostly to provide the possibility for a 306% block (no way do I expect them to do this), the latter sort of on a whim. Then Kanis submitted any% as well, and I got to thinking that this actually has a pretty decent chance to get in! A race is the best way to have a DKC2 run at this point, since there's nothing new to show off, and it's been 2 GDQ marathons with no DKC2 any%. Coming back to it now makes sense.

My PB is 2 minutes behind Kanis' right now - but that's a little misleading as to my actual skill level. I improved my 102% time a LOT since my last any% PB, and I've added the Topsail Wrong Warp and Omega Jump in Toxic. Realistically, I could go out and get a high 42 right now with a good run. I'm also planning to do a bunch of IL practice, so a race between the two of us could actually be interesting. I'd expect to lose, but not get blown out.

So, the Donkey block I'd LIKE to see at the marathon:

DKC2 any% race - Kanis vs Me
DKC3 103% co-op - Techiyo and Raikou
DKCTF any% 3v3 relay race - the DKCTF krew

Now, what do I EXPECT to see?

DKC3 any% race - Blunt, v0oid, and n0cturne
DKCTF any% 3v3 relay race

These DKC3 players are closer to the top of what the community has to offer for that game. I still don't know if 103% can get over the hump. And I don't know if they would do 3 donkey games. I wouldn't be disappointed with this lineup - but I'd really like to see Raikou and Techiyo (and me) get a shot in a marathon like this.

As for my attendance at SGDQ - it's entirely contingent on whether my run is accepted. I won't go otherwise. We'll have a 2 month old baby, and it's already a pretty big stretch for my wife to have me go to SGDQ even for a couple days. Even then, I might not be able to if (God forbid) there are any complications with the baby or delivery.

Next, stream plans!

I'll be back on the evening of Easter Sunday with a DKC2 any% stream. Maybe I'll get to something else, maybe not!

Then the focus will be DKC2 any%, with IL practice taking the forefront.

I'm still going to do occasional Mega Man runs.

I'm probably still going to do the Diablo II on the weekends thing.

Namux wants to do blind races of bad games. I don't know that he's convinced me yet.

I think my first LP out of the gate will be Blind Zelda I.

Eventually, I'll do a 306% run. Maybe.
