  7. by Henri Deschenes,
  8.
  9. Guillaume Tardif, Montreal Gazette : "For Farrer's extended entry, with both its national contenders in appearance, I will have to
  10.
  11. "As for their key players, I would have to say Reginald Marasigan and Kim Hong-Ja. Reginald Marasigan is a solid shooting guard who is pretty much an all-arounder. Sized roughly 198cm and 195 lbs, he is pretty heavy for a shooting guard, but uses his bigger size with excellent use of his physicality. He can both strip the ball away and keep that from happening on his own end, and his motion screens, ball carries, etc, are all good as well. His favourite is a long 2 and while three-pointers are not really his thing, he may be using them more in future as he waits for his final year of college ball. While he is clearly not at the level of any other aces representing Quebec in NSCAA summer tournament this year, he is nonetheless expected to contribute to the team in so many aspects that I can't really say that I'm worried about them going forward. He is their key piece to the puzzle after all.
  12.
  13. "As for the women's basketball, here's the national teamer. The 2032-33 QIS Rookie of the Year and two-time all-Quebecois already in her first 2 years, Kim is a scary presence, a rare physical specimen whose wingspan, more than her size, makes for an impressive presence along the boards. She's little bit shorter than Riley Jeon-Keane, but makes up for it with much better speed than her idol, and her reflexes are solid as well. What also stands out, on top, is her impeccable free throw percentage, something that works much in favour when the opponents play her. The downside may have to be her limited minutes, mostly due to her past history with pneumothorax.....it is expected that her minutes will be taken care of meticulously."
  14.
  15.
  16. Marija Nedeljkovic, The West Coast Inquirer :
  17.
  18.
  19. Hydrien Coulombe-Han, Cornwall Whig-Standard : "
  20.
  21.
  22. Alexander Montcrief, The Abitibian : "When it comes to their aces, it would have to be Guðni Kjartansson. Kjartansson is a solid presence whose presence on offensive boards is remarkable, but might be too light to defend some of the meaner, bigger centres out there in the league. His defence against those smaller than him should be good, but otherwise that part is something that he has to work on, as the summer exhibition seasons continue. He is expected to be drafted somewhere within top two rounds of the QBL draft, which says enough about his draft stock, but the chances of him succeeding in pros remain up in the air."
