- The defeat he suffered was far from that of a physical blow, but one to his own pride and people. Vintaro died, killed off in the midst of Danarium where none were capable of stopping it. Though, Saifex didn't exactly care about him, he was always scum in his perception, down to his last dying breath.
- However, the body wasn't something he could just shrug off, especially after Falco tried so hard to retrieve it. At the sight of another stranger taking up a spot, after relinquishing himself of Glacium armor, and grasping up at the Zilanderz corpse, Saifex took up a sprint.
- Albeit, no matter how fast he ran, he was always a legion of steps behind-- The chase came to an abrupt end, when the fleeing party, disbursed into a flash of lightning, jolting away at speeds he could never hope to achieve, speeding off into the distance.
- Saifex stood still, left in the dust... Arms drooping off towards his sides in realization of his failure. Seia would learn of this soon enough, and would be far from happy about it.
- Not only was a Nivis lost... But dishonored with the kidnapping of one's cadaver.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- Disgruntled on the loss, he started to continue on his trek, fresh from his conversation with Euphemia. Anger began to fester, leaving emotions such as disgust to churn within his being. Never before had he felt so violated... Not for himself, but for his country. The rest of the family that resided in Frostvale would never be able to see the final remains of their clan member; He wasn't fast enough...
- Hands balled into fists, and vermilion threads of his hair fluttered over his visage, shrouding his emerald eyes to prevent identification of his emotion. The chocolate skinned Tsuchi's lips began to twitch, barring teeth that clenched with rage.
- Was he truly that pathetic? Was he incapable of taking up even such a simple task? Perhaps he needed a vent to aid him in a time such as this. Anything... Anything at all, to exact his anger on.
- His head flailed up, leaving reptillian slits to narrow down on a duo up-ahead. The sounds of battle prior drew him in closer, leaving him to imagine them both to be perfect candidates to be proven as efficent meat-bags for his pent-up wrath.

- Joseph Glacier: <*Turns to Saifex*> Oi! Seia let you out....-Again-?
- Saifex Tsuchi: That, is beside the point.
- Saifex Tsuchi: I left for warriors.
- Saifex Tsuchi: That's what I shall get...
- Saifex Tsuchi: Now, whom amongst you is the most avid in battle...
- Joseph Glacier: Pfft, I think we both know I kick your butt any day of the week....
- Saifex Tsuchi: <*Exhales a smooth cloud of flames, voice descends for a darker tone*> I wouldn't count on it.
- "Right..." muttering just that, the Ice magi would turn around, making his way back towards the city of Danarium... he needed some break for now. Healing himself up with his water magic while laying on the bed would be rather nice, eh...? Who gives a shit. First thing after that, mastering Gravity.
- The Calx would eye the dark-skinned Nivis as he passed by him, though not saying anything... but looking carefully at the Nivis outfit for a while. He was talking to the one who just defeated him. Was he a Nivis as well...? Well, Lapis could be careless.
- Soon the Ice magi disappeared into the dense forests towards the north.
- (Lapis Calx)
- Joseph Glacier: Why's that? Anything change about you?
- Saifex Tsuchi: ...You can say that...
- Saifex Tsuchi: What about you...
- Saifex Tsuchi: What's changed in the past year.
- Saifex Tsuchi: ...All I've heard was a lot of -nothing-... You've been slacking during your leave, Joseph.
- Joseph Glacier: <*Chuckles*> What were you supposed to hear?
- Saifex Tsuchi: I was expecting missions... I was expecting progress... But from what I can see, you've only proven to be a joke... Though, there is always a chance to prove me wrong.
- Saifex Tsuchi: Fight me.
- Joseph Glacier: Are you doing missions?
- Saifex Tsuchi: I've completed all the missions I needed...
- Saifex Tsuchi: Merely fifteen points from Jain...
- Saifex Tsuchi: I'm on leave for one purpose...
- Saifex Tsuchi: Training..
- Saifex Tsuchi: When I return, I'll be worthy of promotion, my own division, and respect far and wide.
- Saifex Tsuchi: Even the Queen will praise me for my efforts.
- Joseph Glacier: Bwahahaha! You went on leave for that before, and came back still weak, remember? Cmon..Show me how much you've changed haha.
- Joseph was making good progress with taunting the angered Saifex; The Tsuchi was already on edge. The push wasn't exactly going to make it any more of a peaceful endeavor. Although, one could argue that the opportunity to calm the Tsuchi down was over by now.
- "Alright." He started, "You want to see what I've accomplished in the time you spent slacking off?!" He snapped.
- The sound of metal cringing urked at the commoner's ears, a mere signal that the half-shifting process was underway. The backside of his armor bent at the mercy of emerging draconic wings once more, spreading out to exercise his boasted width.
- From his forehead amassed two protrusions, curling upward to present themselves as horns.
- "...Then prepare yourself for the ride of a lifetime, because you're taking a visit to the Inferno."
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- Joseph honestly couldn't take Saifex seriously. Though he was a strong warrior, Joseph just couldn't see where his true power was in one on one fights. It didn't matter though, Joseph would try fighting him as best as he could. Grabbing his ice spear and shield, and summoning a cold wind around his body. Moving forward towards Saifex and starting a spar of fire and ice once more!
- (Joseph Glacier)
- Joseph quickly got ready for yet another round once Saifex was back up and ready. "Do better."
- (Joseph Glacier)
- The grasses were caught, possessed in conflaguration, seared into a crisp onyx wasteland, chunk by chunk. In no means was Saifex truly as weak as he was in his encounters with Joseph prior, but it didn't seem to be enough. Fireballs were hurled violently for the Glacier, combusting into domes of light that tore away at the terrain, crashing into the soils to toil dirt and ashes into the air, compiling dust between himself and his opponent.
- He gave halt for a moment, growing exhausted from the battle thus far. He couldn't make out the whereabouts of Joseph, but he was quite sure that he was far from faltered with he launched prior. Suddenly the winds churned around his figure, chilling him rapidly, and withering his flames back to his person.
- The cold Joseph could manifest reminded Saifex of Frostvale; An unforgiving setting, that housed no suitable conditions for a flame to thrive, lest it be powered by an unique and potent source perfusively.
- Alas, shardlets of ice, propelled from the cloud of dust he failed to see through, apparently an open target from outside.
- The icicles impaled into his chestplate, and even pierced the flesh beneath to some degree-- It wasn't nearly enough to be provided as a fatal or maiming shot, but wounding nonetheless.
- The ice that stuck to his figure would not last however.
- He was set on his hands and knees, fatigued from the battle thus far, but far from out. The ice was beginning to melt off his body, the frost that cobwebbed upon his Nivis armor, thawing out.
- He snarled his teeth at the thought of being bested so easily, and at the hands of his RIVAL!
- Was he truly that much stronger than him? "NO! IT CAN"T BE! YOU AREN'T!" He exclaimed, answering his own internal question quite explicitly, in a rage.
- "YOU ARE NOT STRONGER THAN ME!"
- An explosion of flames engulfed his being, but not of his common sort... These, were of an Azure quality, similiar to Seia's own.
- "NOT TODAY!"
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- Joseph and Saifex went at it again. Joseph summoning a strong plate of ice around his entire body as he used his newly developed ice form. Then moving on to sending his ice spear over towards Saifex and constantly attacking him with all types of magical attacks. Though Joseph had a huge arsenal of magic, it was evident that Saifex's few fire skills were strong enough. The raging drakanites magic burning even through Joseph's ice pillars and what not.
- Once the battle was over, Joseph quickly stepped back a little bit, and sighed. "I need to keep moving though, Saifex. Hopefully your fire magic becomes a lot greater than what it currently is." He smiled widely at Saifex then, and began to walk off. A cold chill left around the area, yet still following Joseph as he moved into the desert. Going on to discover something new, and train in new ways!
- (Joseph Glacier)
- Araceon Rei: you did alright.
- Araceon Rei: Not the best, but alright.
- Saifex Tsuchi: <*Rises to his feet*> I don't need a pep talk... <*Rubs sore face*> From a mere spectator...
