  1. >>[Humans]
  2. Human Law has only become more Fair to the Public over the millenia and, as such, is rarely if ever broken. This is not due to a tightening of Human Law, but a relaxing of Crusade Values as to what constitutes as a punishable offence.
  3.
  4. Misdemeanors are dealt with via Crusade Service, Community Service, and/or monetary Fines that scale to the Income of the criminal; someone who makes $200 a day would have to pay extremely less than someone who makes $200,000 a day.
  5.
  6. Common Human Laws that are strictly enforced, however, are:
  7.
  8. -No Lethal Weapons Within City Limits (excluding Military Presence)
  9. While this law once meant that no Person(s) inside City Limits were allowed to allocate a Lethal Weapon to their Strife Specibus, it has since changed due to Trollian Negotiations to a Restriction for Use by Non-Peacekeeping Personnel.
  10.
  11. Punishment for breaking this law is the Offender being arrested and held at the Jailhouse for 6 Days (3 IRL Days) as well as fined for 1/8th their income, on top of any other charges or punishments of Assault/Slaughter that may or may not accompany it.
  12.
  13. -No Unauthorized Selling or Trading of Human Artefacts
  14. After the War, Scavengers became a prevalent kind of Tradesman that would find destroyed CityArks and comb through them to find Historical Artefacts to sell on the Open Market. While this was a lucrative way of life for roughly 10 years, The Crusade listened to concerns of disrespect for the Dead and the possibility of Trollian Forces getting their hands on Weapons, Historical Texts, and sensitive information; Laws were put in place to stop the trade of such objects.
  15.
  16. Punishment for breaking this law is the Offender losing their Paradisian Citizenship and being forcibly removed from the Planet to go to another friendly Colony. This is considered a High Offence and may, depending on the severity, lead to Forced Service to The Crusade.
  17.
  18.
  19. >>[Trolls]
  20. Unlike Human Law, Trollian Law has barely changed throughout the course of Recorded History (likely due to the same Empress running things then and things now), with only mild to moderate changes happening in the past 40 years.
  21.
  22. While certain aspects of Trollian Law have been omitted or ‘unofficially enforced’ on Paradise to assist with Human-Trollian Relations, the rest of the Empire still runs under Archaic Law.
  23.
  24. The alterations to Paradise Law are as follows:
  25.
  26. -Contributions
  27. On Paradise, Contributions to the Genetic Slurry required for breeding are NOT enforced by threat of Culling for non-contributors. While Trolls in Quadrants are encouraged to Contribute for the sake of Trollkind, While it’s not ideal circumstance, Highbloods are encouraged to go to Contribution centers and do solo-contributions to ensure genetic diversity.
  28.
  29. There is no Punishment for Non-Contribution on Paradise.
  30.
  31. -The Killing of Lowbloods
  32. General consensus is that there needs to be ‘Probable Inciting’ to kill a Lowblood (Rust-Cerulean) and that Highblood or a Human may not just kill a Lowblood on a whim. There are Religious Exemptions from this Law (such as Subjugglators being allowed to take sacrifices, or Seadwellers being allowed to kill for their Lusii) but they are kept mostly under the radar as these exemptions directly violate Crusade Treaties.
  33.
  34. While technically Illegal, Highbloods murdering Lowbloods will likely go unpunished unless reported to The Crusade.
  35.
  36. -Hemorebellion
  37. Despite the movement of The Signless Sectoral going largely unpunished, open Hemorebellion is still considered an affront to The Empire and a direct offence against Her Imperious Condescension herself.
  38.
  39. Hemorebellion may be dealt with by Observers by the Culling of Rebels, or reported to The Imperial Fleet. The punishment for the Offender is Culling when Observed or Reported.
