- The Red Prince
- Personality
- - Extremely proud of both himself and his heritage (but mostly himself), despite being cut off from the royal family.
- - Demands fealty from other lizards. Apathetic lizards are deemed useless and shunned, while antagonistic ones are to be executed, since they stand in opposition to his leadership.
- - Displays an inability to tolerate insults directed at his character, capabilities, or any allied lizards.
- - Not bothered by general anti-lizard sentiments, seeing them as a confirmation that the current leadership has failed in their duty. He will not make such mistakes as they have.
- - Viciously competitive, seeking glory as a means to stengthen his claim to the throne.
- - A skillful orator (but not really one for debate) and commander who's sure to back up his bold talk with physical confrontation if the situation demands it (and it usually does, since it's more exciting that way).
- - Averse to stealing, not because of any moral objections, but simply because it's more noble for one's rewards to be bestowed instead of plundered.
- Abilities
- - Staff: While swords are more traditional armaments, and wands more exotic, when compared compared to the humble staff, any concessions made in appearance are more than made up for by how much easier it is on the knees to have something to lean on during those long journeys.
- - Summoning: With no army yet loyal enough to fight for his cause, the Prince was left with no choice but to raise his own.
- - Pyrokinetic: Ignorant lizards might assume the Prince's searing flames to be yet another perk of the royal bloodline, but those more educated know that such power can only truly come from years of study and decades of practice.
- - Geomancer: Although lizards are known to have an affinity for the earth in general, lizard royalty are known to be among the land's most materialistic creatures, fascinated equally by the ground beneath their feet as they are the jewels within their crowns.
- - Polymorph: The royal lizard bloodline may be a little inbred (a lot inbred, actually), but when you want to keep certain traits within the family, there's no better way than with a cousin.
- - Warfare: While it might be safer to command one's troops from afar, any general knows that it's far more efficient to scold undisciplined solders when they're within earshot.
