[ci]Greetings fellow fish keepers! Today the leadership team will begin the new helpers initiative. The amino will be taking a more regulated and hands on approach to keeping our members informed and educated here at FKA. [cbui]Helpers goals
[ci]With the addition of new helpers, the team will now have new goals insuring a standard of excellent information throughout FKA. We hope to have all questions in both posts and chats to be answered to the best of the amino’s ability as quickly as possible. Helpers should also have the ability to correct incorrect statements made by other people in a friendly way. Helpers should also always be approachable. Any new member who doesn’t know the ropes and might not be the most experienced in fish keeping should be able to send a helper a private message and learn the basics of what they need to do to keep fish while they sustain a healthy relationship with that helpers as a source from that point foreword. Helpers should also fully moderate quizzes to insure they only promote correct information when quizzes are implemented. Helpers also need to be able to admit when they lack a portion of knowledge and be able to work with fellow helpers or amino staff to solve problems. Helpers should not make up information if they do not truly know the answer to something. Additionally, it is important that the helpers are able to monitor the peacewalkers to ensure that they are doing their job and keeping peace.

[cbui]How to become a helper
[ci]From this point foreword, auditioning to become a helper is possible at all times. To audition, send one the the helper leaders a pm and request an audition. Be prepared to answer a few questions that the team leaders will ask. The things we ask of you to have prepared before hand is an endorsement from any amino staff member and screenshots of your weekly minutes on. Please choose the staff member you are most familiar with so that you may get the best recommendation as possible. We want our helpers to have a strong connection with our staff and having this endorsement ensures you are the kind of person this amino is looking for. Your audition should be processed within the span of one week. To make this list more succinct, here are the exact steps you need to take to apply and become a helper.

[ic]1. Get screenshots of your weekly minutes on.
[ic]2. Have a conversation with the leader you know the best and get an endorsement from them.
[ic]3. Clear out a 15-30 minute time frame for yourself to have a small interview.

[ic]5. Give the helper staff the span of a week to process your candidacy.

[ci]With that, the leadership staff highly encourages everyone who can become a helper to audition. The more help we have the better this amino can function. This team has been created with the intent to fix the shortcomings within the community and insure the highest level of productivity possible. We’re currently trying to fill 15 roles for helpers and we hope everyone who wants to be a helper will apply.
