  23. Notes:
  24. (1) - In this refrain, "I remembered one and forgot the other", there is no explicit pronoun given and the verb is in the plural form. At first, I thought it was the plural pronoun "we", but given the context, it's the character using the plural "we" to refer to herself in the singular. This is very much possible in Hindi and has a distinct poetic tone, which I think simply cannot be translated into English. Secondly, "I remembered" and "forgot the other" don't have an explicit conjunction. Depending on how you interpret it, you can think of the remembering and forgetting as contrasting things (I remembered BUT forgot the other), or as something expected (I remembered AND forgot the other).
  25.
  26. (2) - No idea what "swings" means here. But this third verse overall is using a metaphor of torrential monsoons. The first monsoon was the love affair, exciting and fresh. In the second, he forgot her and she was sick of pining for him.
  27.
  28. (3) - In the first two lines of the last verse, there is a light verb that adds a meaning that can be translated here as "end up". Basically, she is saying that didn't particularly intend to give him her heart, it just happened unexpectedly one day. Then she didn't expect (and, for that matter, want) to get heartache, it just happened one day because her beloved left her.
  29.
  30. (4) - She doesn't say which she remembered and which she forgot between the affair and the subsequent separation. It's up to your interpretation whether it's the the love or the heartache which she remembers. Maybe the movie's context makes that clear, I've never watched it. Given that she still sees her beloved in her dreams, I'm inclined to think she feels the heartache more. Dunno.
