  1. Eridan’s ancestor is difficult for Vriska’s to work out in terms of romance. Maybe he’s jealous of what she does, which is kind of stupid for him to be, but it’s way more funny than anything. Of course, only nobility like him would think he has the right to tell his black-lover how to live her life, especially about taking red-lovers. Seriously, wimpier people than her have killed their lovers for pulling that shit, but she’s cool with it because it’s kind of cute when he does it. She’s actually smiling a little while writing about it.
  2. Since he’s her admiral (basically), he’s gotta understand the above, also he may be above her in blood but even he sees her awesome treasure hoard dwarfs his significantly. He definitely understands. She’s gonna take what she wants in life, regardless of anything. She expects him to know this, and he’d be lesser in her eyes if he didn’t meet these expectations. She wonders if he’s upset about how low her recent lovers have been in terms of blood. If he’s honestly upset about that, about not giving a shit about the blood of her red-lovers, then he’s either stupid or hasn’t spent enough time with her when she’s playing it cool. She can read him like a book. He knows her telepathy won’t work on him, but he can’t get it into his head that she can still tell what he thinks by his non-verbal cues. All the looks enhance the rival black-love thing they’ve got going for her. She acts really casual about calling up one of the slaves from below without pausing while they’re talking, and he just gives her a look for it. She’s very smug about the fact that, until an hour ago, the slave she’s calling up belonged to him (she stole them). He was stupid about where he put that ship, she’s taunting him about it, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened. She suggests this is their little routine, how their dates tend to go. She wonders what her sweetheart’s (bitterheart’s?) reaction means. Is he ashamed of her actions, envious of the slave for what she’ll be put through, is it contempt for Vriska’s ancestor for doing this kind of thing?
  3. She nods to get the slave to come over. The slave’s scared shitless and that’s adorable. Eridan’s ancestor kind of makes it obvious he’s scoffing in his head, even though he doesn’t do it out loud. His whole corner of the room is getting darker from his sheer disgust. He wants her to make the slave bleed where they both can see to check her standing, to at least learn how MUCH she’s debasing herself. She wants him to know that not knowing that is kind of the point, it’s hot, and if he got that then his crusade against her fleet wouldn’t be such a joke. She also laments that you don’t have to be so high on the hemospectrum to get the joke (also a SBHJ reference) She mind controls the slave, but very lightly, so she can get off on how the slave reacts to having free thoughts but little will. The slave’s hands are under her control, but not so much that the slave’s nervousness doesn’t make them tremble. The slave unbuttons the bottom button of Vriska’s ancestor’s jacket, and she isn’t good at doing it (the slave is a girl). Vriska’s ancestor has made it so the slave can’t tell whether what she’s doing is her own choice or not, and it’s freaking her out. The unbuttoning continues, while Vriska’s ancestor acts all cool about it, making chit chat with eridan’s ancestor like it ain’t no thang, but he doesn’t say anything back.
  4. She looks the slave in the face and fantasizes about not knowing how much dread is in her mind. She pretends she doesn’t know the slave is resigned to torture by irons and only hopes she can get off easy by successfully getting her mind-master off. Said mind master feels a moment of pity for the slave (level of genuine-ness is up to interpretation) The slave’s got a nice pair of horns, and her hair is in violent snarls. Vriska’s ancestor has kinda spaced out about where the slave’s fingers were, so she’s surprised when they’re suddenly touching skin under her clothes. The slave’s body heat gives a rough idea of her range on the hemospectrum, and it isn’t one Vriska’s ancestor would have gotten right just from the slave’s looks. She checks out the slave’s teeth, and is happy to see they’re all there and really sharp. It’s a turn off when they’re dull. She thinks to herself about showing mercy later and eventually kindness, hoping this will make her fling with the slave last and turn into a full red-romance. She remarks that love needs her cunning as much as war, and if this is to work the slave can never know on how many levels, and how deep, her art was worked.
  5. She suddenly remember her black-lover, because she’d been completely lost in her little fantasies, but he’s not there anymore.
  6. She’s cool with him leaving, and wishes him to get really worked up over what she made him witness, hoping it strengthens their black-love. He has to know SHE knows what doing that does to him, because otherwise she could always just send him off before she starts to dig in. She thinks of it as a gift for him, to make their rivalry even more intense. But if he’s really envious, as in he wants to be in the slaves place as her red-lover, then she’ll have to break up with him ‘cause she’s having none of that.
  7. She regrets she might be too good at making him hate her for stunts like this. She really hopes he isn’t toying with the idea of becoming her red boy-toy instead of her black one.
  8. It ends on an ominous note about what she’ll do if he’s thinking like that.
