Azathoth, the Chewing Many
Thousands of chittering mouths, hungering for nourishment via burnt offering. All sacrifices of meat, fat, and entrails have gone to It. A god of great power, but little intelligence. It has no ulterior agenda besides eating more, and more. Its boons and curses are merely just The Chewing Many taking greater and greater influence on a person. A relation to the Chewing Many is one of increased codependence, as it gives greater boons the more you sacrifice, but the more sacrifices are required to dull the consequences.

Sacrifices:

1. Food, of any quality or quantity.
2. A pound of flesh from someone or something important to the user.
3. A bonfire made from artifacts/holy symbols, preferably from other Horrorterrors
4. The fulfillment of a task by one of the many beings that occupy Azathoth’s headspace. (Roll to find someone, PM them, ask them what their character wants?)

Boons:

1. Enhanced senses, allowing to tell if food is poisoned, rotten, or wrong.
2. Supernatural talent when it comes to the preparation of food.
3. Enhanced tracking ability, able to identify people by scent and taste(?!)
4. The follower can eat anything with no consequence, completely destroying the object as their mouth becomes a vessel to the Blind Idiot God.

Curses:

1. Follower wakes up with bite-marks all over their body.
2. Intense, all-consuming hunger and paranoia over food.
3. The follower is given the appearance of someone near-starvation, rail thin and emaciated. Sacrifices must be offered to regain their old body.
4. A mouth forms somewhere on the follower’s body, and must be fed to keep it from growing wider and to keep it from eating clothes.
