- Tinkerer did his best to lead on, scouring the area he'd last seen the two emerge from while they were taking care of the body. He takes some time to briefly survey the area before coming to a silent conclusion.
- Some blood stains lingered near the keep's doorway from when they'd hauled the monolithic corpse inside. Following that and basic process of elimination, he aimed to weave through the keep's doorway and into the Fort proper.
- Unless an unimportant servant'd recently got to cleaning, Tinkerer followed the trail of refuse and purple blood to the back room. He didn't speak much with present company, clearly trying to puzzle out just where it ended up after he saw them hauling it around.
- "Mnhm... Lazy Fae. Lazy lazy lazy."
- "Did not even clean up his mess."
- ... aaand, the trek ends when he reaches the prison door. A few rooms are checked prior to it, but there's little convincing evidence to solicit further searching on the off trails. Lo and behold, Zogen's corpse is propped against the back wall.
- His sternum is slashed upon. The creature's skull also seemed partially damaged, crushed with a blow intended to sever it in half. It was still attached to the corpse, if only by thin strings of gristle and shell.

- These seemed to be games that she did not enjoy- people toying around with corpses for the sake of doing so with little thought of the consequences. How would they feel if someone were to do such a thing to them? How would they feel if someone were to deny them the chance of having a second life after their first one had been snatched? If only for the moment, does the Kitsune find herself beginning to grumble for the moment- her lithe form following in line behind Tinkerer as she would soon wave nothing more than a mere hand..
- "It seems that I'll be having a small talk with our little fairy." She murmurs to herself while looking towards the trail of purple blood- her frown beginning to deepen considerably before she finally pauses. "He seems quite damaged, but luckily, from what I can tell, with a lot of work, I'll be able to revive him. There is a slight issue, however..." She says while beginning tokneel carefully, her clawed hands reaching forward- adjusting the head of the creature.
- "He might not be able to reach Archonhood without introducing himself to a spire shard. If you all care for him that much, then I would suppose to look for such a thing...But in any case, if you want him back, then I can bring him back and he can do it on his own. Either way, with times being the way that they are...I suggest bringing him back regardless." Plus, she liked Zogen.
- He seemed to be quite cute with her daughter. Perhaps, Ina might learn a thing or two from him in essence of being ruthless to her enemies. Hm, hmm, hmmm. Either way, her gaze flickers up to Zaruma. "It is your choice, Lord Zaruma. Do you wish for me to bring him back now?"
- (Cho)
- The Archon observed Zogen's corpse propped back against the wall with a gaze almost entirely filled with indifference - and yet, a hint of his emotion betrayed displeasure, perhaps even anger to another Demon's life taken.
- A Demon that actually served his cause.
- "The Archondom is achieved when the Demon grows powerful enough to control his soul and cause himself to be projected as something entirely else upon reality."
- "Our ascension does not depend on the body whatsoever. In fact, with Archondom, I figure he may... 'cure' himself, from looking like an undead."
- He briefly commented on Cho's remark, before promptly continuing his speech on the matter at hand."
- "You should attempt to revive him now. It would be a waste to infuse him with a spire shard, especially if he'll be able to overcome it on his own later on."
- "Besides, Spires have caused our kind horrible mutations in the past. He might be... not pleased."
- (Zaruma)
- Tinkerer filtered to the side. While he was aspiring to partake of the art, he had no place in this scenario. His initial purpose, leading them to the body and what would have been repairing it were done or impossible.
- The Accursed still fumed that he had his opportunity to rebuild the Demon's husk stolen. What came next was reliant upon the Archon's will and Cho's capacity, both things he fully believed in. Uneasily, the creature bit at his nails.
- Uneasy purple eyes drifted between corpse and Kitsune, anticipatory. He'd managed - with aid - to raise a much, much lesser creature previously. The thought of being powerful enough to recussitate the gigantic Kaor was beyond his imagination.
- "It is fine if I stay to observe, yes? Do not wish to get in the way ore become an irritation."
- (Tinkerer)
- She finds herself beginning to shake her head from left to right. "There are a few things that you must know, Lord Zaruma." she says while a slow smile appears upon her features. "Unfortunately, when a soul leaves its shell and returns, it's tether to the world is terribly weakened. There are ways in theory to...strengthen it, but my first guess is either through cosm or raw energy magic." Just a theory, of course. "However, if it is as you say- then it will be extremely, extremely difficult for him without the shard." A mere murmur is given, only to continue.
- "But do not fret- I am a powerful necromancer. I'm capable of making it look as if he is no undead, but in any case...I will follow through. You will see Zogen up and running soon enough." To make people happy, to please them- it was beginning to feel less like a chore and more like some strange obligation. She likes it.
- Even if it changes her each time.
- "In any case, I cannot do it as of now for his body is extremely damaged and I need to repair it." Plus, malice has work, but still! "However, if you want to see him come back, Tinkerer, then I'll invite you to my home in the near future. For now...Let's just move this thing, yes?" She says while sands would slowly roll into the room, scattering about their feet before wrapping carefully around the broken body of Zogen.
- "He'll return to you all soon enough." And with another whisk of her hand, he is lifted and then slowly, would the two begin to drift away. "Also, Lord Zaruma, I would like to ask about the mutations that the spire shards have caused your kind...Perhaps, later, when I'm done, yes? Maybe, we can somehow make them stable for your sake and power."
- (Cho)
- Too many of the Demons and Archons perished in their trials of strength and power.
- And if he would be able to preserve any of them, that'd be the wish that he desires to fulfil. The Archon stared down Zogen's body through a pair of crimson hues, and after acknowledging Cho's words, he merely nodded.
- "Very well. Work on his repairs and bring him back once he's ready. And, ah--"
- "I believe his connection to the body would be repaired in time. Demons are entirely different kind than humans are- we are inherently powerful, both physically and spiritually. It's a shame that not all of us see the light of their Ascension, however..."
- A regretful look was thrown towards Zogen's body once more and he continued to speak.
- "Make the necessary preparations at will and bring him back at first opportunity. We'll need every Demon for the times that are coming, least we wish to see ourselves perishing."
- "As for the questions about mutations--"
- "You can ask later on."
- (Zaruma)
- Ever the quiet supplicant, Tinkerer set to work aiding Cho just as she seemed to have requested. Lithe hands set to the undersides of Zogen's shoulderblades, struggling to find purchase for a moment or two before they drive in, indenting the scales. Mana raced through purple-veined limbs.
- It greatly increased his capacity for physical feats, but taxed him horribly. Muscles, powered obscenely by magic, aimed to lost the creature up from a point of leverage Cho had not previously seen to. At least the labour and relative lack of need for speech on his part gave him time to think.
- Why was it that he went to such an extent for Zogen? Tinkerer did not believe he cared if the Kaor lived or died, one way or another. Perhaps, he wondered, if it was a desire to prove the point that he wasn't wholly incapable. Maybe it was a loathing for the Fae that'd threatened him that gave him the motivation.
- The thoughts were banished, none the less. Dark purple eyes rose to focus in on Zaruma, narrowed to pinpricks. A brief remark followed, since it was unlikely he'd have time to speak to him again later. Busy men, everywhere.
- "Want permission to move hatchery, pods, and workshop to this fort. Ran out of space in Gaiar Aetherius, as we spoke of. Other Necromancer and handful of Valmasians would be acting as support staff for the effort, if you would permit it."
- (Tinkerer)
- Perhaps it was what the White Testament of Tragedy spoke of - the feeling of emotion, something weak and humane, a regret for the loss of another loyal Kaor. It stung. Everytime a new loss was announced, it stung at the heart of the Archon, at the very center of Occult beating mass that pushed him to move forward.
- It stung, it pained him, and yet it gave him strength. Was it ambition, or desire to revenge? Hatred? Perhaps all of that, true. Perhaps it was good that he never pondered about it too much and focused the reality, for it allowed him to stay focused and not fall to despair.
- Like some others did.
- Once Tinkerer announced his request, Zaruma turned a pair of crimson hues towards the man. The Archon eyed him, listened and acknowledged his words.
- "Yes, you may."
- "This fortification was intended to be used by researchers and to serve as a foothold of the land, should we be under attack again. That tower fiasco cannot repeat again."
- "If that would be all..?"
- He inquired, assuming that they had nothing else to say.
- (Zaruma)
- "Is all. Can haul this back to your estate, Cho. Do not need you to tax yourself."
- That was that. His hands dug further into the meat of the deceased Kaor's limbs, managing to fit his back beneath the monstrosity to act as another point of support for the over-the-shoulder carry he was attempting, if Cho took him up on his offer. At least it would serve to be decent practice.
- Was he excited with the opportunity to make use of a newer, larger workshop? Of course. Tinkerer did his best to hide the boyish and childlike grin on his face as he worked. It didn't suit the situated to be unprofessional, especially with the dried purple slag now coming to stain his white jacket.
- Tinkerer did his best to avoid wasting Zaruma and his educator's time, working towards the prison's exit unless his progress was impeded.
- (Tinkerer)
- Cho says, "No need, there's little reason for you to strain yourself physically when there is magic."
- Tinkerer says, "Is magic too, but will not deny if you insist on helping."
- The Archon spoke no more.
- His form began to float away, leaving the two to their own devices of working upon Kaor's body. With as grim and cold expression as ever that he's been having lately, Zaruma leaves the room.
- To which lands he goes, that remains unknown.
- (Zaruma)
