  1. Reality saved. Thank you for your patience.
  2. Journey uncovers the tray of Sushi, setting the small stack of plates out, cutlery, chopsticks, pitchers of lemonade and fruit punch set out with glasses ready, actually a sizeable feast including baked chicken, finger sandwiches and some actually non Asian food. He looks up and focuses on a spot in the yard as he finishes the preperations and the Bridge opens while Journey arrainges the chairs to be out of the way.
  3. <OOC> Typhanie says, "Is Typhanie coming on the bridge? Willow would LOVE that"
  4. <OOC> Journey says, "If you like, Jake can come on his own"
  5. <OOC> Typhanie says, "Cool."
  6. <OOC> Journey says, "Typhanie could permit a bridge opening in her sanctum and Zephyr could lock in on that."
  7. <OOC> Typhanie says, "That works"
  8. When Jake arrives he's not empty handed. He's carrying a jar of honey in each hand. Jake hands one to Journey. "Wow, another incredible spread! You sure have been busy."
  9. A wide-eyed Willow comes out, holding Typhanie's hand. Typhanie looks a little green. She doesn't travel like that very often. Just as they step out though, Willow's big ole eyes turn up toward toward Typhanie and her nose wrinkles. "Out its BUTT? Mama, that's gross." Then she looks around, accusingly, and calls out to Journey, "Did we really just jump out of a spirit's butt?"
  10. Journey takes the honey and grins, "Excellent, got some nice sliced bread this will go with." He nods and looks over smiling to the Redheads. He looks at Willow and smiles, "Well, take your pick. Do you want to jump OUT it's butt or IN it's butt?" He asks with full gravitas as he pours a lemonade and brings it to Typhanie, "Here, little tartness will help." Dimensional seasickness. Sometimes happens.
  11. Jake chuckles at Typhanie and Willow, steps forward, nods politely to the woman and hands the honey to the girl. "It's very good to see you both again. Here's a little present for you."
  12. Willow has to think about that for a looon moment as she wanders over toward the food, leading Typhanie along by the hand. "I'll haffa think about that," she says with a sigh. Typhanie chuckles. "Well, that's what you get for asking: the truth," she tells the little girl and takes the lemonade, sipping it. "Still better than paradox," she says, then Willow's taking the jar from Jake with a smile. "Thank you, sir," she says with utmost politeness.
  13. Journey nods, "Mmm, well, anything to keep the evil Doxies off you." He says, thinking, "Might research that one day." He shakes himself, and follows along to the food, gesturing, "Go ahead, please." He says, getting a loaf of bread and slicing it as he sets the honey down. Journey does this with that 'looks easy/isn't' ease.
  14. "You're very welcome," Jake tells Willow with a smile. "I hope you like it as much as we do. I mean, my mate and I." He waits for the company to go and check out the food first. "Isn't this the best back yard? My girls love it here."
  15. Typhanie looks around the yard with a smile, checking out all the details. "Willow, look. They have a hammock." Willow nods, only moderately interested. "Yeah, but can I have some sushi first?" Typhanie nods and helps Willow set up a plate while she does the same. "Thank you, Jake. I can't help but wonder what's going on, though. I'm wondering just how social this social call is."
  16. Journey looks meaningfully at Jake, "She hears the soundtrack." He nods, looking back to Typhanie, "Yeah, kinda buttering you up, got some bad news, I mean, aggrivating news. You're not gonna like it. But there's also wanting to show the place, and since Stephen has teeth now, Lisa's gonna be bringing him out in a few minutes once he's been cleaned off from lunch."
  17. Jake nods to Journey and chuckles. "Are we THAT transparent? Guess we'll have to work on our poker faces." A couple of ladybugs are crawling on Jake's shoulder. "Get some food first though. Relax."
  18. "Stephen has teeth? Oh good. Cause he was a scary little potato monster last time I saw him," Willow says, and shudders, almost toppling her plate. Typhanie ruffles Willow's hair lightly and then nods to Journey. "Am I going to want to stab things?" This doesn't stop her from eating sushi, though. She has a seat and so does Willow, perched on Typhanie's knee.
  19. Journey chuckles, picking up chopsticks and a piece of Sushi, "He does, yes. He's got all kinds of teeth." He looks to Typhanie, "You'll wanna stab Furio." He looks to the Manor as the glass door opens and Lisa appears, carrying Stephen who blinks, looking around. People with red hair. Ooo. Goggle.
  20. A few more ladybugs fly over and land on Jake's hair but the man doesn't seem to notice. "Well, you might not want to STAB him. He made a...comment the other day that has come under a bit of scrutiny. Unfortunately, as you probably know, the man often doesn't think before he speaks. This was during a meeting where he was trying to help think of a way to protect the bawn."
  21. Typhanie's face just.. falls. She goes from moderately suspicious to instantly defensive. Sharp eyes narrow down just a touch and she nods. Willow, meanwhile, peers over toward the toddler, also squinting. Never has it been QUITE so obvious that the two are mother and daughter. They look almost exactly alike, Typhanie squinting at Journey, Willow squinting at Stephen. THEN she's squinting at Jake. SQUINT! "What did he say?" She's very calm. Nice and calm. So calm, in fact, that Willow looks up over her shoulder at Typhanie with a sort of 'oh shit' expression and while she NOTICES the lady bugs, it becomes more important to get out of Typhanie's range. So she wanders up to Stephen. "Hi there."
