It was interrupted briefly as a small figure walked out onto the stage, handing the doctor atop her Professor a small bag of equipment.

"Thank you my dear," the faunus medical officer said sweetly, as she placed the bag by Jaune's face. Yang couldn't help but think the girl looked familiar, though she couldn't place that black hair. The eyes though… where those pink and brown?

"This is my new assistant by the way Jaune," the woman said casually, lifting the man's head up by his blond locks as she tilted it in the direction of the girl. "She's going to be looking after you too." Yang couldn't quite make out any details – but the tiny girl seemed to grin and give him a quick wave.

Jaune's muffled cries seemed to rise a few octaves in pitch, as he broke out into paroxysms of terror. The teacher rode the bucking Professor like a pro, making tiny adjustments to her posture to ensure she wasn't tossed off.

"I've never seen her before, and there's no record of her," the woman continued, "but she's wearing a medical uniform – so she must be legit."

Made sense, Yang thought.
