- OPERATION 15/07/2018 NOTES
- Your platoon of BAF start at Camp Al Rassa in the Diyala province of Iraq.
- The mission is simple, deliver 3 aid trucks to nearby settlements. But there is a twist!
- You are without troop transport vehicles. You should convoy down the road with your infantry protecting the aid trucks.
- Should an infantryman become injured, they must be transported back to base via one of our two available ambulances and treated there.
- OBJECTIVES:
- Successfully bring the 3 aid trucks to 3 different locations, namely:
- Husayn Mosque in the town of Al Baiueia
- Aid centre in the town Abd al Fahd
- Makeshift aid centre in the villa near the town of Zawiyah
- CIVILIANS:
- The civilians in this area are divided. Some support us, some do not. Treat all as friendly until otherwise given reason to believe they are a threat. Too many deliberate killings will result in a mission failure. We are on a humanitarian mission after all.
- ENEMY:
- Local guerilla and militia. Not well funded but large in numbers. Expect all manner of tactics to try and stop you from winning over the local populace with this operation. (Yes that includes IEDs and suicide bombers)
- LIMITATIONS:
- Squad medics shall be reassigned as Combat Life Savers. This means no taking Surgical Kits or Personal Aid Kits.
- Medicing by the doctors should be done at base. They may stabilise patients while on the move, nothing more.
- No squad bar the EOD squads should take anti-mine/ied equipment. This includes mine detectors of any kind, defusal kits etc.
- ASSETS:
- 2 x CSAR Ambulance (2 Doctors, 1 Driver per ambulance)
- 2 x EOD Squad (At Platoon/Slotters discretion as to which)
