- RedHiro3#2092: Nothing they do, nothing they did, and nothing they ever will do, will matter in the long run.

- RedHiro3#2092: As if the heroes of now had *no* effect at all.
- RedHiro3#2092: Aside from tech, nothing.
- RedHiro3#2092: Batman Beyond and the 2099 stories being examples.
- But aside from the facts that the older heroes aren't constantly dying and being reborn again, what has really changed in those worlds?
- RedHiro3#2092: And these are only two examples of the many, *many* ways that have been depicted as what would happen at the end of heroes. And there is probably only one or two out there that are actually good.
- RedHiro3#2092: The world ended up in ruin, and the villains that now controlled it all ruled with an iron fist, while the heroes were either all dead or broken beyond repair.
- RedHiro3#2092: In Old Man Logan, he ended up killing everyone he was close with because Mysterio managed to trick him into thinking they were his swore enemies.
- RedHiro3#2092: But why do all the doors lead down the worst paths possible?
- RedHiro3#2092: Granted not every hero would have a happy ending.
- RedHiro3#2092: He's hounded every day of his life purely because he exist.
- RedHiro3#2092: But no.
- RedHiro3#2092: To be left alone.
- RedHiro3#2092: All he ever wanted, all he still wants, is peace.
- RedHiro3#2092: What did the Hulk do to deserve such a fate?
- RedHiro3#2092: Where is the justice in that?
- RedHiro3#2092: A hero who has fought and bleed for this planet, being forced to wander the Earth as a walking meal for a foe he could never truly defeat.
- RedHiro3#2092: What kind of tragic ending is that?
- RedHiro3#2092: So
- RedHiro3#2092: Knowing that even letting the human out for a second would end in their death.
- RedHiro3#2092: And he traps Bruce inside himself forever after that.
- RedHiro3#2092: he refuses, as he believes that would mean that General Thunder Bolt Ross and everyone else that ever tried to kill him would finally win.
- RedHiro3#2092: But Hulk refused.
- RedHiro3#2092: What's even worse, Bruce actually started to beg the Hulk to just let the both of them die. To finally end all their pain, to just... let them have peace.
- RedHiro3#2092: Serving as the meal for giant insects.
- RedHiro3#2092: Day in, day out.
- RedHiro3#2092: As giant mutated insects now colonize the planet, and everyday they attack the Hulk. And everyday he smashes a few hundred before they ultimately overpower him, feast on him, fly off and let him regenerate, before coming back the next day.
- RedHiro3#2092: But that serves to only make they story more and more depressing.
- RedHiro3#2092: Bruce banner comes out every now and then.
- RedHiro3#2092: An old hermit, only staying alive by his healing factor.
