  1. --TGAB Non-commissioned Officer Corps Lesson Plans--
  2.
  3. -TIER 1: ETHICS AND DISCIPLINE/Introduction-
  4. Tier: 1
  5. Rank: Sergeant
  6. Focus: Ethics and Discipline/Introduction
  7.
  8. Hello, and welcome to the Non-commissioned Officer Corps! The focus of this class is on Ethics and Discipline, however, as this is your first class, I'll also give you an introduction to the Corps.
  9.
  10. As a Sergeant, or soon a Sergeant Major, it is your responsibility to host supervised trainings, lead small squads on patrols when ordered by an officer, and keep lines silent and disciplined during training. The exit goal is to have all students learn discipline as well as gain experience and knowledge.
  11.
  12. Each tier is required to attend one or two classes, the exact number is laid out in the guide in the description. Classes can range from 20 to 30 minutes, but we try to keep them as short as possible for your benefit. You must arrive to a class at the very beginning, or if you have arrived late, the instructor must fill you in on what you missed at the end.
  13.
  14. If you have any questions throughout your time in the Corps, contact Sir Adam Fletcher or a Board Member.
  15.
  16. Discipline is an essential part of the British Army, military discipline makes the difference between a mob and an army. Discipline is a glue that holds groups together and makes them act as on in response to orders.
  17.
  18. The Empire has twelve (12) universal regulations that apply to the armed forces, regardless of your branch. The regulations are called the "Articles of War", these articles exist to make it clear on what is permitted, and what is not. As not every rule can be written out, the final and 12th article of war is covers anything deemed inappropriate not already mentioned in the regulations.
  19.
  20. How do the Articles of War get applied? If there is clear evidence that a solider, officer or even High Command member violates the Articles of War, they may be punished at the decision of the Head of Army or High Command immediately. If it is disputed, or there is not clear evidence, the Justice Act is brought into the picture. To put it simply, the Justice Act outlines punishments, court martial and prosecutions. You can find the Articles of War on the description, inside of it is a link to the Justice Act.
