  1. Configure findings:
  2. FFI: no (user requested: default)
  3. readline: yes (user requested: yes)
  4. libsigsegv: no, consider installing GNU libsigsegv
  5. ./configure: libsigsegv was not detected, thus some features, such as
  6. generational garbage collection and
  7. stack overflow detection in interpreted Lisp code
  8. cannot be provided.
  9. Please do this:
  10. mkdir tools; cd tools; prefix=`pwd`/i686-pc-linux-gnu
  11. wget http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/libsigsegv/libsigsegv-2.5.tar.gz
  12. tar xfz libsigsegv-2.5.tar.gz
  13. cd libsigsegv-2.5
  14. ./configure --prefix=${prefix} && make && make check && make install
  15. cd ../..
  16. ./configure --with-libsigsegv-prefix=${prefix} --with-readline --with-unicode --with-module=i18n --with-module=gdbm --with-module=pcre --with-module=readline --with-module=regexp
  17. If you insist on building without libsigsegv, please pass
  18. --ignore-absence-of-libsigsegv
  19. to this script:
  20. ./configure --ignore-absence-of-libsigsegv --with-readline --with-unicode --with-module=i18n --with-module=gdbm --with-module=pcre --with-module=readline --with-module=regexp
  21.
  22. sudo apt-get install libsigsegv-dev libreadline5-dev
  23.
  24. # as of 7.10, Ubuntu's libffcall1-dev is broken and I had to get it from CVS
  25. # and make sure CLISP didn't use Ubuntu's version.
  26. sudo apt-get remove libffcall1-dev libffcall1
  27. cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/sources/libffcall co -P ffcall
  28. cd ffcall; ./configure; make
  29. sudo make install
  30.
  31. cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/clisp co -P clisp
  32. cd clisp
  33. ./configure --with-libffcall-prefix=/usr/local --prefix=/home/luis/Software
  34. ulimit -s 16384
  35. cd src; make install
