  2. Temple of Oblivion - Cemetery
  3.
  4. Descending away from the Temple, the western slope of the hill is an uneven clearing serving as the realm's central cemetery. Other than the seemingly-decorative iron fence and gate to the Parvis, the clearing is framed on the other three sides by the same sort of thick, wizened trees found in the nearby Forest of Darkness, with only a winding path ascending to the north to disrupt their close-growing dominance.
  5. The trees all along the perimeter, however, have been limbed down into great, cylindrical steles of black bog-wood, standing in silent vigil as they face southeast, toward the Portal. Some are entirely blank, still in the process of darkening and hardening, but most have had their surfaces shaped into a series of continuous reliefs of past faces, busts, and deeds; in the flat spaces between, inscriptions memorialize those whose dream is a dream no longer. The tallest steles, ascending to nearly thirty feet, line the lowest point on the slope, while shorter ones occupy higher positions to the north and south. The clearing between these monuments consists of coarse, mottled moss, sparse eruptions of wiry grass, and a host of broken funerary stones, which, unlike the steles, are vague in their features, having been left to fade away like whatever was once buried beneath them...

  23. Ben moves toward Badal after making sure Kiah's alright and standing all on her own again. He puts a hand on Badal's shoulder gently, before reaching down and picking up the shiny. "It's alright, I've got it." He holds it lightly in his gloved hand in case it's something breakable, moving it toward the light to inspect it.
  24. <OOC> Badal waves!
  25. <OOC> Purraj says, "Whats going on here?"
  26. <OOC> Kiah waves "hi Purraj"
  27. <OOC> Darion waves to Purraj.
  28. <OOC> Kaerphram says, "Spider Murder"
  29.
  30. "Excellent," Darion offers a dark smile to Kaerphram, re-emerging from the shadows after a cursory check for more cobwebs. "We definitely had a hard time with him before. His name's Chatsworth. My family has had...altercations with him for years. Willa also ran into him once, over in Red Light." Darion sighs, and pauses to admire Kaerphram's blade. "Nice axe. Oh. Chatsworth specializes in elemental magic and maybe necromancy. Not sure if the wraith is his doing or not, but we think so." He takes in a breath of eau de charred spider, turning back to see Badal stirring the pot of dead spiders. "Why are you such a pussy about these things?"
  31.
  32. Badal's stirring reveals a large skeleton key. Made of bone. Of course. Small silver engravings chase the spine of the key. Naturally, he'll want to look in all the scallops, and then he'd discover each of the 3 fonts contains a similar key: One made of wood and another made of stone.
  33.
  34. <OOC> Darion says, "Working on a little adventure. The group's actually below ground in a tomb, right now. Join in if you like!"
  35. <OOC> Darion says, "Ben wasn't next to Badal, there's no way he'd be able to reach in and take the key."
  36. <OOC> Purraj says, "Oh I see."
  37. <OOC> Ben Collins says, "I had him move over to him. It's right in my pose."
  38. <OOC> Darion says, "The room is 25' in any direction from the stairs, where Ben and Kiah is."
  39. <OOC> Darion says, "Yep, not happening. Also, it's a douche move to take something someone else found."
  40.
  41. The Jaeghar nods again as Darion explains more, the panthera's eyes flicking over to look at Ben and Badal and Kiah before he grins at something Darion says, "Entirely possible. Mages don't tend to infest cemetaries and graveyards if they don't intend to interact with the dead in one way or another." notes Kaerphram. The comment by Darion towards Badal earns a laugh from the big panthera, "The kitten still has some toughening up ahead of him."
  42. <OOC> Ben Collins says, "I have to get groceries put away. I'll be AFK for a bit."
  43. <OOC> Darion nods.
  44.
  45. Kiah straightens her clothing, watching Badal get the last of the spiders, not touching anything except her feet on the floor. When Ben leaves, she takes a few steps into the room, joining the two Zealots as Darion updates Kaerphram on the current situation. The joking between them further relaxes the mood in the room. She looks over to Badal, "Did you find something?"
  46.
  47. Purraj studies each person gathered in turn, before eyeing the pot of spiders, uh, thats just gross. "So, whats the plan?" she asks, giving a look towards Kaer as she does so, although the question isn't exclusively to him.
  48.
  49. The first key gotten, Badal is curious and looks to the others after having taken the one picked up by Ben for him. He figures it's safe since nothing happened so when he looks and sees a key on the bottom of each hell basin? He braces himself and then shudders, "I hate this world. I hate this world so much." He just plunges his hand into each one once he's sure that he won't catch on fire. "I'm a fluffy frightened pussy... of spiders." He does the heebiejeebie dance again and then gets a curious expression as he moves towards the first one just to check to see if that has one as well. He looks between Darion and Kaer, and sticks his tongue out playfully. When close enough he looks to Kiah, "You good?" He then looks to Purraj as she appears. More than likely from the screaming that was had. Oh.. oh the screaming in an echoy room with sensitive ears. "Hello, Purraj! Not sure the plan but I got keys!"
  50.
  51.
  52. The group is in an underground, stone tomb. The ceiling is fairly low, no more than 6 feet high, but the room is very large, at least 25' north, east, or west to the other walls of the room from where Darion is standing, at the foot of some stone stairs leading up into a mausoleum inside the Temple cemetery. It's so dark down there that the other walls are bathed in shadow; only those with darkvision would be able to see them without a light aid. Each of those far walls contains a font, and within the font is where Badal has been diligently slaying spiders.
  53.
  54. Darion chuckles, "I look forward to 'toughening up' Badal, then." he answers Kaerphram. Once Badal has returned with his treasures, Darion strokes down his back, touching gently enough that the shadow armor wouldn't block him. The psion glances up the stone stairs, sensing yet more brainwaves, his eyes meeting Purraj's when she appears there. Waiting until she comes down the stairs to greet her, he says, "Greetings...I'm Darion, an acolyte of the temple." As Badal speaks her name, he doesn't ask. "The plan is now to find out where we out to stick Badal's keys. I've a feeling that will lead us to the wraith."
  55.
  56.
  57. "Hello dear, come to help me keep this little group out of too much trouble?" questions Kaerphram as Purraj joins them, his thin tail curling lazily behind him. The Jaeghar has his greataxe out and from how the robes move around the zealot he's got his armor on beneath those robes. An ear twitches when Darion strokes Badal's back but Kaerphram doesn't say anything about it, his attention instead going to look around the room, "Any obvious room further on from here? Barring that look for something appearing in threes."
  58.
  59. Kiah turns when Darion introduces himself, seeing Purraj enters the mausoleum, "Oh maybe we were a little noisy" she blushes but is thankful that the room is full of shadows. She looks around and finds her flashlight, not far from her feet, still on, just rolled out of the way, not doing anything but brightening an empty corner. She watches as he goes to each of the fonts getting something from each one. When Badal joins, them, she reaches out and touches his arm "I think so! Are you?" Looks between the others in the group and says "Is it bad, I think we are starting to deserve our reputation as pyros?" She looks down to the ground but a devilish grin on her face, only looking up when Badal mentions the keys. "Kaerphram, obvious and things that should be obvious are relative with us." She laughs "but we try!"
  60.
  61. Purraj is somewhat annoyed by the low ceiling which requires her to crouch quite noticeably to fit in, this was obviously built by some really short people! She offers a nod to Darion at the greeting. Smiling when she sees Kaer and moving over to give him a hug, before she peers towards Badal upon hearing Darion's word. "Oh, don't worry about him, Kaerphram and me are already working on toughening him up." she murmurs. "Oh, I am zealot Purraj." she offers, even though she is sure she has met Darion before so he should know her already.
  62. Game> Darion looked at you.
  63.
  64. The light armor that Badal wears is almost not there. And sometimes it makes him seem a bit not there as well as it's shadow nature tends to hide him if not all then at least partially. "Toughen me up, hmm?" He again looks between the two males and then feels like he needs to stretch the neck hole of his armor. "Just.. not spiders. That might break me." He purrrs lightly at the touch from Darion, but then at the touch to his arm from Kiah, he grins sheepishly. "I think me and you were the two squeamish ones." He laughs, but then chuffs a bit in embarrassment as it's talked about toughening him up by Purraj. "As long as I'm not shaved. Everyone seems to want to shave me."
  65. Tanin steps in from the Parvis of the Temple.
  66. Tanin has arrived.
  67. <OOC> Kiah waves!
  68. <OOC> Darion says, "Hey Tanin!"
  69. <OOC> Tanin smiles and waves, "Just coming to be a pervert, I mean voyeur, I mean just to watch."
  70. <OOC> Darion says, "If this gets you off, you're definitely several degrees higher on the perv scale than Kiah."
  71. <OOC> Badal laughs. Well, as long as you don't mind spiders and stuff like that.
  72. <OOC> Kiah hides her face
  73. <OOC> Kaerphram says, "And spiders on fire."
  74.
  75. "Well, I'm glad /someone/ is on the job of toughening Badal up," Darion says dryly, regarding the cloud leopard for a moment and meeting his gaze. He answers the others, "We haven't really searched this room, yet. Ran into some spiders and got a little side-tracked. There doesn't appear to be any other exit, but we should have a better look around." Without another word, he disappears into the shadows again and begins searching about. His words come back to the others, "And what Kaerphram said: Look for something in threes. The materials may also be important: Stone, bone, and wood."
  76.
  77. <OOC> Darion scene sets a bit for Tanin...
  78. <OOC> Tanin is one pervy bastard.
  79. Kiah looks to the the group, and giggles when Purraj talks about toughing Badal up, "It's nice to see you again Purraj!" she offers with a warm smile in greeting. "Yeah, if I never ever see a spider again it will be too soon." She shivers remembering the feeling of arachnid legs crawling on her legs and arms. "Well shaving Badal does seem to be the one thing we all agree on!" When Darion reminds them what they are looking for, "Just don't touch anything, trust me on that one. It rarely turns out well!"
  80.
  81.
  82. The group is in an underground, stone tomb in the cemetery. Near the same one they'd found grave-robbed way back at the beginning of winter. The ceiling is fairly low, no more than 6 feet high, but the room is very large, at least 25' north, east, or west to the other walls of the room from the foot of some stone stairs leading up into a small marble mausoleum. It's so dark down there that the other walls are bathed in shadow; only those with darkvision would be able to see them without a light aid. Each of those far walls contains a font, and within the font is where Badal has been diligently slaying spiders.
  83.
  84. <OOC> Darion says, "Anyone who's searching, roll a spot check with applicable bonuses. :)"
  85. Temple Dice> Badal (#7227) rolls: 1 1 1 = 3
  86. <OOC> Darion says, "Hahahahaha."
  87. <OOC> Badal says, "Ack! Forgot the plus one.. so.. 4. damnit"
  88. <OOC> Darion says, "Doesn't matter. Rolling 3 ones is a critical failure."
  89. <OOC> Purraj says, "Huh you need to have like a character sheet or something for this?"
  90. Temple Dice> Kiah (#6492) rolls : 3 4 4 +2 = 13
  91. (spot check with Legend)
  92. <OOC> Darion says, "Nope!"
  93. <OOC> Purraj says, "So how do you know what bonuses you have then?"
  94. Temple Dice> Kaerphram (#1588) rolls : 2 2 4 +2 = 10
  95. (Experienced Dungeoneering.)
  96. <OOC> Darion says, "It depends on your char's abilities and past experience."
  97. <OOC> Darion says, "Like Badal always gets +1 to spot checks for acute feline senses."
  98. Purraj arches a brow some at Kiah's words. "Why would you ever want to shave him? He is just perfect the way he is now. And I would be quite displeased to whoever would go shaving any of the people of feline persuasion in the temple."
  99. <OOC> Darion says, "The max is +5 for a bonus, it's usually more around +1 to +2, if you have superhuman abilities or training."
  100.
  101. Kaerphram gives the area a fairly quick once-over, looking for anything that stands out to him but aside from a couple of gnawed bones he doesn't find much. "Clearly we need to scour this area more, too many scavengers in here." muses the Jaeghar while he picks up one of those bones to try and determine what might have been gnawing on it.
  102.
  103. His ears can't turn any redder than they are when Darion says that. "You all are making me tougher. I'm.. just a really soft kitten?" Badal offers, trying to not sound like too much of a pussy. But let's be honest.. He would have out screamed Kiah if he had had any less control of his body. "I.. I just don't see anything. I mean, I can go upstairs and see if there is anything up there.." He glances up towards that heavenly doorway that leads to no spider pitchers. "Sweet.. sweet no spider upstairs." He mumbles, and then flicks his ears before he rumbles. "Anyone see anything?" He asks, slowly taking a few steps towards the stairs. He glances as Darion goes towards the darkness and then calls back. "Threes? Gotchya." He laughs at what Kiah says about the spiders. "Way too soon." Then purrs softly at what Purraj says. "I just tell everyone not the tail." He then glances towards Kaer and rumbles, "We.. more? We need to look more?" He snorts, sighs and then nods and begins to st
  104. ep away from the stairs and looks about a bit harder. hopefully not a botched roll this time.
  105. Kiah's eyes get wide, "I don't think I would be the one shaving, Purraj" she nods nods "Actually I'm fairly certain I wouldn't go around shaving anything that wasn't permitted." She bites her lower lip, "I'm just repeating things I've heard." She quickly steps away, removing herself very carefully from the Zealots gaze, and steps over to one of the nearby fonts.
  106. "One thing we learned about this wraith is he likes to collect maidens. " Kiah keeps her hands behind her back as she studies the font. She listens as the others don't seem to find anything. "Does anyone else think it's an odd coincidence that all of these fonts have young ladies on them? And the map we found brought us here?" She looks under the bottom of the font she's studying and sees something! Ignoring her own very good advice, she reaches her hand out and touches the little bump underneath. It's a Button! And what must you do to a button? She presses it.
  107.
  108.
  109.
  110. Kaerphram is able to determine it was some kind of canine gnawing on the old bones he found. A very large canine. Badal doesn't find anything else, but his ears do pick up the loud sound of scraping rock in the center of the room. Right around when Kiah pushes the button underneath the font she's searching. Hmm. Might there be similar buttons on the other two fonts?
  111.
  112.
  113. A rather intense frown crosses the Jaeghar's features before he looks back over to Darion, "Was this place sealed or opened when you all came here?" questions the panthera, though his attention turns to the center of the room where that scraping sound comes from.
  114.
  115. Darion emerges from the shadows again, hands tucked into his wide sleeves. He studies the floor in the center of the room where the noise had come from, before returning to Kaer's side. "It was not sealed," he replies to the Jaeghar. Just in case things got heavy, the psion creates an inertial bubble of air around Badal, Kiah, and Ben separately, the elastic air created with a soft *pop*. He turns to the new arrivals, "You've not adventured with us before...would you like something extra, for protection?" He offers.
  116.
  117. <OOC> Darion says, "+2 to your defense rolls with the bubble, as always. :)"
  118. Purraj gives a look towards Darion at that question and shrugs. "Well, as long as it doesn't come with any downsides, I don't see why not?" she offers in return with a chuckle.
  119.
  120. The Jaeghar shakes his head slightly at the offer from Darion, "Save your energy for the others. I am built to endure, and I will endure to keep others safe." states the Jaeghar simply before he waggles that gnawed on bone at the other male zealot. "Something was chewing on this, fairly big, possible canine. Unsealed enough to allow a dog in?"
  121.
  122. "The, well, we had to move the tomb top thing." Badal purrs out, and while he thinks he hasn't spotted anything important, his ears pick up something and he too looks towards the center of the room. "Kiah? What.. where was the button?" He asks, moving to look towards the woman and then purrs softly, "And are you dead? We tend to almost get blasted or sucked into walls or.. dolled when it comes to things." He teases his friend, his tail curling about his body a bit. He begins to head towards another font. He purrs to Kaer and Purraj, "It has come in handy, what he does. Saved my life more than a few times." He adds, "Takes a lot of damage before popping." He looks to the other felines, and flicks his ears happily, though it pauses at the mention of dogs and chewing. "Oh sweet Oblivion.. I hope its not zombie dogs." He's hopefully at a font and looking and pressing a button by now.
  123.
  124. Kiah stands up "There's a button under this font. She goes over to another font and now that she knows what she's looking for easily finds another "There's buttons under all of them. " she looks to the group, "maybe we should try pressing all of them at once?" She looks over seeing Kaerphram holding the old bone, "Did you find something?". She feels the familiar inertial bubble around her and smiles to Darion "Thank you." She watches as Darion adds a similar bubble around Purraj. Kiah rises on her tip toes trying to get a better look at the bone the Jaeghar is holding. When Badal mentions zombie dogs, "why say things you know if I think It, it could come true." She reminds Badal of Ming Wu's warning shaking her head "I'm just going to imagine it was a teeny tiny teacup poodle, that's it" she says nodding yes to convince herself.
  125.
  126. Kiah has reconnected.
  127.
  128. "You'll probably hurt less," Darion answers Purraj when a downside is inquired about. He snaps his fingers and another bubble forms around her form. "Harmless 'attacks' such as touches from a friend or attempts to reach for something outside the bubble have no effect on it. Same with eating and other normal activities. Most other harmful contact will be handicapped." There's a deviant grin toward Badal, "Poor thing. First spiders, and now dogs who like chew toys."
  129.
  130. Sure enough, Badal feels around a second font and finds a button underneath the lip, right where Kiah found hers. *CLICK* followed by an even louder grating sound at the center of the room. Kiah finds the third button, on the third font. Exactly as Badal makes her think of Bad Things (TM). Uh-oh. The sound of grating stone is very loud, for a second. At the center of the room, a very dark trapdoor has opened. Those with sensitive noses would certainly pick up the musk of mutt. A growl everyone can hear flows out of the hole, loud and slavering, followed by the sloppy licking of chops.
  131.
  132.
  133. "Possibly... Not unheard of for undead creatures to cluster together. Rarely do you encounter only one." muses the Jaeghar. As he says this he watches the center of the room while Badal and Kiah trigger the other two buttons, waiting to see what just might come out. That growl has him shifting his grasp upon his weapon, an electric blue glow shimmering along the blade edge while his hand shuffles halfway down the haft.
  134.
  135. "Think of them being balloons!" He gasps, having forgotten that completely. "Think of everything being balloons. We can just pop things then." Badal hears the grating, and then he isn't sure if Darion can see it, but he smirks at him. "I like to think that maybe I could at least outrun.." He doesn't really have to finish his sentence as that growling starts to sound. He looks to Kaer. Then to Purraj in hopes that maybe one of them had stubbed their toe and was throwing their voice. "I don't think we.. ah.. Want to press a fourth one.." He mumbles, turning his head to slowly look towards the center of the room and then rolls his shoulders. "Anyone else got anything flamey?" He asks, moving into a bit more of a fighting stance; flicking out all 8 of his metal coated claws; the one hand still missing two claws from his fingers. "Our luck is that we never meet just one. Or.. if we do.. they have the power of more than one."
  136. Kiah has partially disconnected.
  137. Purraj draws her blades as she hears that growling sound, turning towards it. "Well, I suppose that depends on whether or not we need to go down there." she replies to Badal's question about pushing the last button.
  138.
  139. As Darion explains to Purraj about the bubble and how it's perfectly safe, Kiah continues presses the third button. She stops, her eyes get wide, as the trap door opens and the growl echos in the room. She steps back slightly, seeing the Jaeghar's reaction and the blue glow from his weapon. She reaches in her bag and pulls out her golden lyre, holding it at her side "We could try another way?" she waves the lyre. "I've been practicing?" She looks to Badal, Kaer, Purraj and Darion. "if that doesn't wor, we can always try your way?" She looks to the group of felines ready to strike.
  140.
  141.
  142. Darion falls silent, checking first on his friends with darts of his eyes around the room, and then leveling his gaze upon the trapdoor. The growling is enough to make him draw his scimitar, the obsithine blade creating a shirring sound as it is drawn. Black motes crackle around its edges and the wickedly curved tip. "Kiah. Don't ask to do whatever you will do. It takes precious time. Instead, follow what Ming Wu has already told you: Just--" He doesn't get the rest of his words out.
  143.
  144. Leaping from the trapdoor in the center of the room, two oversized dobermans race along the stone floor, claws kicking up sparks. Their eyes glow an unearthly red, and their muscled bodies move with unnatural speed. One goes for Kaerphram, perhaps judging him to be one of the more serious threats in the room. The other goes for Badal. Spittle flies off their jowls, sizzling where it touches on the floor. Oh, what will these mad scientist Shang wizards think of next?

  167. <OOC> Purraj says, "I have no idea how you do all that rolling stuff."
  168. <OOC> Darion says, "Oh! Look at the nerd object."
  169. <OOC> Tanin smiles and leaves you all to your fun!
  170. Tanin goes home.
  171. Tanin has left.
  172.
  173.
  174. The Jaeghar shows no concern at all for the large dog as it changes for him, his first step going forward and both hands gripping the axe as he brings it around to meet the charging sizzling canine. Badal will no doubt get a rather practical demonstration of what Kaerphram was teaching him about earlier as the heavy axehead effortlessly bites into the side of the canine right near its neck. There's no motion to dodge so the dog, or more likely its corpse, will collide with his leg and bounce away.
  175. Temple Dice> Purraj (#30749) rolls : 4 3 4 +4 = 15
  176. (Attacking the dog)
  177. Purraj is quite confident in Kaerphram being able to take care of himself, so she instead moves to help Badal, advancing quickly on the do'gs flank and slicing at it in quick succession with her twin blades, while still being careful to not leave herself exposed to possible counter attacks.
  178.
  179. The Shadow Armor that Badal has turns him damn near invisible to the dog coming at him, the only thing possible that might be seen are those rose gold eyes that glare out as it as his fully clawed hand comes out and swipes out at the dog. It's weird angle so he goes for what he remembers is good for weapons and goes for the top of the head to try and blind the beastie with it's own.. possibly blood? If these things have them. And he might even manage to get an ear off of it with his pinkie.
  180.
  181. Kiah starts to play the lyre, and a song that sounds very much like Margaritaville comes from the instrument. However, she's obviously lot as practiced as she should be. The music has no affect helping her friends and just causes the dogs to howel slighly at her off key playing. She looks up seeing Kaer's attack, and the dog cascading to the ground. Her eyes turn toward Badal and Purraj, to see how they fair against the second dog.
  182.
  183.
  184. Darion follows up with a slice of his scimitar down the flank of the dog attacking Kaerphram, since he is close to the Jaeghar. A pink line of flesh opens up, sizzling as his voidblade makes contact with the doberman. Between him and Kaerphram, the dog is mincemeat. That collision with Kaer's leg results in a squishy sound, and it thuds lifelessly to the ground. Its acidic drool sizzles on the stone even in death. The other doberman fares no better, perhaps distracted by Kiah's awful playing. An ear is lopped off by Badal's claws, the dog snapping and frothing madly as its vision goes red. Two slashes from Purraj's blades finish it, and it crashes into the wall behind Badal with a pathetic *YIP!* followed by a slow death whine. Well that went well. For once.
  185.
  186.
  187. After that creature falls down the Jaeghar gives it a bit of a probe with his axe, trying to determine if it's just rabid or, as he suspects, a not exactly (formerly) alive puppo but rather some sort of undead monstrosity.
  188. Temple Dice> Kaerphram (#1588) rolls : 2 5 3 -1 = 9
  189. (CSI Oblivion / Bad Science Writing / He's a murdercat not a doctor.)
  190. <OOC> Darion laughs. CSI Oblivion. :)
  191.
  192. It appears to have been live as opposed to undead, and there's no telltale rotten smell. But definitely, some crazed crazed mad scientist has altered it in some way. The drool from the dog's maw is eating away at the stone floor like acid. That ain't normal. Around the dog's neck, a metal collar with a small antenna blinks green a few times and then fades out. Permanently. All that technomancy looks like Daddy Frank's work, and Badal had been, uh, intimate enough with the man to recognize it.
  193.
  194.
  195. Looking up at Purraj, Badal smiles sheepishly. "Thanks." He purrs out, looking at the wounds she left behind on the canine. "That.. was awesome." He chuckles, glancing towards the other dog and the two dudes that took it out. "You guys good?" He glances at the corpse of the dog. "Well.. ok. You are, but.. anything splash on ya?" He asks while looking to Kiah. "Oh man, that playing distracted the dog enough to not get me. Thanks, Kiah." He perks his ears at her.
  196.
  197. Kiah sets the lyre back in her bag, after both dogs were quickly put down. "That was awesome! We may not get spiders but rabid devil dogs, no problemo!" she giggles. Walking over to the dog Kaer is nudging with this axe, "Oh that doesn't look good" she motions to the slowly evaporting stone floor. She smiles brightly to Badal "Well, Performance anxiety?" She shakes her head "I'm not sure i helped y'all had it covered!" She looks closer to the dog "what's that around it's neck?"
  198.
  199.
  200. Darion nods to Badal, signaling that he is A-OK. "Now let's see what's down that hole," he says, after cocking his head and listening, just to ensure there are no other dobermans coming out. "Even in death, Daddy Frank could not defeat you," he grins faintly, making his way over to the trapdoor. "That's exactly what I was thinking," he laughs at Kiah's observation.
  201.
  202. Anyone else who looks in there would find a gradual stone slope into another, darker still hole. A torch or other light source tossed down there would reveal a door with a series of locks on it. One of stone, one of bone, and one of wood. All of them emanate magic, for those who may be attuned to such things. Kiah's examination of the collar reveals a radio transmitter of some kind, and an on/off switch. It looks as though there might even be a mini cam on the dog collar's tag. Is someone looking up her skirt?!
  203.
  204.
  205. "Rather acidic." notes the Jaeghar as that drool eats away at the stonework. He uses his blade to press the canine corpse a bit further away from something that might be important before he look over to Darion and Kiah at what they say. "Daddy Frank?" questions the panthera, his right wrist jerking the axe's haft to shake off some of the gore from it. "Guess we're going to go down then." he observes as he motions with his free hand towards that opening.
  206. Purraj peers down the hatch at the door at the other end of it. "Mmm, well, at least it looks like we found where the keys go to." she notes to the others. "Must be something interesting behind that door to require that much obstacles protecting it."
  207.
  208. The mention of Daddy Frank cause Badal to tense up and wince a bit. He curls his tail closely around his body as he shudders. "Fuck that guy. Set me on fire." He resheaths his claws as he watches everyone else. "Was some fuck-o that lived down here. We ran into him and.. Well. Ig it sucked into a wall to meet him, not sure how the others did, but.. Sick fuck." He lets out, looking towards the floor and then nods, "Ah.. Looks like 'm needed." He chuckles, pulling out the keys and starting with the wood one, he puts it into the lock. Should it be all clear, he's go with the stone one next. Then bone.
  209.
  210. "Daddy Frank was Chatsworth's twin brother. He specialized in technomancy and mad science. I actually think he /was/ mad. He also really, really, really liked latex. One time, a week or two after we found that grave that had been robbed, we found his evil underground lair." Darion pauses to smile at Badal, listening to what he had to say about the latex daddy. "While we were there, Badal, Ben, and my idiotic and unsurprisingly now dead brother had a...a party."
  211.
  212.
  213. Kiah looks up and grins to Darion, "great minds?" she flashes her eyes to him. She walks over, taking a close look at the collar and quickly closes her legs, and crouching down "maybe we should take it with us, never know if we might need this as well. Maybe it'll open up a doggie door or someting?" Avoiding the acidic dog slobber, she removes the collar and places it in her bag. She takes her flashlight from her bag, and illuminates the space, following Badal down the stairs as Darion updates Kaer and Purraj on Daddy Frank.
  214.
  215. Ben had stayed back with Kiah when the dogs had attacked, surprisingly not jumping in head first for once, but waiting to see if something got through the initial defenses. He follows them down the ramp, watching behind them for unpleasant things following them down. "I'm not sure I'd call it a party." He uncoils the whip at his side, his only actual functional weapon, and waits for the door to open.
  216.
  217. "Of course." replies Kaerphram as 'Daddy Frank' is described to him. "This is Shangrila, even our mad scientists and arch-villains are perverted kinky bastards." muses the Jaeghar. He twirls the greataxe with his wrist as he walks towards the ramp leading down. "Let me go first." he says as the others go to open up the apparent door leading beyond. "I can take hits far better than the rest of you." he notes.
  218.
  219. Oh yeah, good idea, Kiah. Loot the corpses. Clearly, Darion's a little rusty about these things, but after she takes one corpse's collar, he retrieves the other and gives it to her to hold. Because she probably has a giant sparkly purse of some kind to put junk in. Badal slides the wooden key into the lock and turns it, resulting in a satisfying *click* sound. The same is true for the other two. As soon as they all are opened, the stone wall in front of them begins to slide inward with that same loud grating rock-on-rock noise. Behind it? Another pitch black room. This one feels much more claustrophobic, and the smell of decay Badal had picked up earlier washes over the group in a sickly sweet, heavy wave of stench.

  241.
  242. Badal looks to Darion, "A party.. is one way to describe it. I couldn't get those things off my balls for, what.. almost two weeks? Surprised 'm not tripping over them." He snorts, though as Kaerphram moves to take the lead on this, the smaller leopard moves to take up.. well, middle-ish area? Or right behind him. Either way, he can't actually see over the larger Jaeghar, so he has to sneak a peek around the side of him in case there needs to be a yell for backing up. "Always dark rooms. Can't these guys ever want to do something in a bright light? Not too bright that it's blinding but just right that it's soothing to the eyes and you can see everything coming at you?" He turns his head, "Holy god.. that's some asshole smell right there. Like.. not even the kind 'd lick."
  243.
  244. "Pungent." growls the Jaeghar as he steps past the others into the dark room beyond. He's got good low light vision, but low light still needs some light and there isn't much in here. "Death and decay... This place needs to be scoured and cleansed. Got any more of that fire?" he questions as he glances back. The glow from the axe lets other see where he is but it doesn't seem to cast of any light despite how it does glow.
  245.
  246. "Not a party, I heard about Daddy Frank for what felt like weeks after!" She giggles "We still have that short sword you guys found there." she says to Ben. Kiah takes the second collar from Darion "Thank you!" and places it along with the first in her bag (while not sparkly it is incredibly handy and full of great stuff!). She watches as Badal opens the locks and the new chamber is revealed. She lets Kaer move past her, well the large feline moves past her so she does the only thing she can think of to help, and shines the flashlight into the room. Not sure if it will help since she's farther away. "Here, this should help" she hands the flashlight to Kaer if he chooses to take it. Because knowing Kiah it's sparkly and maybe bedazzled a bit.
  247.
  248.
  249. "Looked like a party to me," Darion shrugs, clearly having had a different perspective on the whole Daddy Frank Incident. He blurts out a laugh at Badal's balls comment. This is quickly cut short by the reek that oozes out of the room in front of them. He lifts his sleeve and covers his mouth and nose with it, squinting from the odor. And from the bright sparkliness of the rhinestones on Kiah's flashlight as she hands it forward. He has excellent dark vision, but can't see around the people in front of him very well. By the time he enters behind the others, bringing up the rear, all he has time to do is gasp, before...
  250.
  251. There in the darkness, a towering figure in tattered black robes. There's a soft green glow emanating from under the hood over its head, but nothing more can be seen of it. One arm swipes out to claw a skeletal hand at Kaerphram, while the other hand seeks to crush his face with a squeeze of it!

  270. Ben follows the others, nose still wrinkling at the memory of latex nightmares. The smell really doesn't help, the slave covering his face with his hand. The wraith makes him step back for a moment, then when it goes for Kaerphram he lashes the whip out toward the wraith. It misses, but it maybe keeps it distracted? In any case, he's putting himself between the wraith and Kiah.

  277.
  278. Knowing that this is a the perfect place for a wraith to show up doesn't mean that one can't be caught by surprise, but even surprise isn't enough to leave Kaerphram fully flatfooted. True to his berserker nature though the Jaeghar doesn't move to dodge from the attack but instead slashes with his axe instead, a fine strike right at those outreached arms from the hell-cursed abomination that is before him. Those arms that claw at him seem to pass almost effortlessly through his armor, though some may notice that they don't rend his flesh nearly as well as the armor above them. There's definitely glistening on his chest where the one arm struck, but while the other does grab at his face it doesn't seem to have any lasting effect.
  279.
  280. Badal is frustrated enough with it being darkness all of the time for badguys that when he sees that glowing hooded.. floaty thing before him he hisses out angrily and just launches that doll he still had in his hand. He throws it as hard as he can. While he hopes for that glowy part (Cuz I mean.. hello. Glowy) he really is going to be happy with anything that he might get. "Watch out!" He calls to Kaerphram.. though, lets me honest.. He most likely didn't need to but he still tries to give him a warning. He tries to dart forward before there are any more blows given to him.
  281.
  282. The wraith does harm Kaerphram, and it's a good thing he's a sturdy fellow because the undead abomination is still coming strong. The both of them seem to be more resistant than average to blows. There's a burn lingering where the skeletal hands touched the Jaeghar, and perhaps he knows that if the wraith isn't slain, then he would be subject to the same curse Kiah is currently under. Speaking of...
  283.
  284. The wraith notices Ben's distraction with the whip, and wiggles his fingers in Ben's direction. More correctly, Kiah's direction, but she's behind the Temple slave. Her hand reaches around to grab Ben's...no, not that. His whip handle! The other end of it is gripped as well, and the next thing he knows, his own weapon is being used against him as a garrotte! GAK! Kiah, no!
  285.
  286. *Bop!* Badal's dolly whaps the wraith on the chest, releasing a wave of stench from its rotting body cavity and causing the black robe to fall open. Revealing burnt up, holy, red latex. GASP. It's Daddy Frank in the flesh!

  312. Purraj notices that this thing seems to be far more... solid... than what wraiths usually are as far as she knows. As usually wraiths are incorporeal spirits, but since that is not the case, she will stealthily move around behind the thing while it is distracted by the big and loud people, and strikes, she is not quite sure if this thing has similar vulnerable spots to a living person, but it likely doesn't hurt to try.
  313. Temple Dice> Purraj (#30749) rolls : 4 6 2 +4 = 16
  314. (Sneak attack!)
  315.
  316. The burn lingers and when a bit of light plays over him the others may indeed see that the Jaeghar's chest wound appears to be almost sizzling where he was struck before. What should be a debilitating wound for others seems to be beyond notice for the Jaeghar, though of those present it's likely on Purraj knows exactly why. His nostrils wrinkle when that new wave of pungent deliciousness rises up after Badal's poor abused doll strikes the wraith and Kaer flashes a fanged grin, undeterred by that claw that bites into him again, another hit that seems to have no lasting effect upon him. "You hit like a Ghast." scolds Kaer right before he drives his greataxe right into the chest of the abomination.
  317.
  318. Darion frowns, as first his attempt to incinerate the wraith don't work, and then agitating its cells also fails. His brows lift at the reveal of Daddy Frank's corpse under the black robes they'd seen in Kiah's mirror a while back. "Wait a second...this isn't our wraith." he speaks, loud enough that those nearby would hear him. Not that it really matters. They're still gonna have to kill that bitch if they want to get out of here alive!
  319.
  320.
  321. Kiah screams out like a banshee, ignoring everyone else right as she starts beating and batting Ben about the head. While the Temple slave, tries to figure out what is happening, Kiah smacks him hard to the kidney, putting her full weight into the punch. Whack Whack Whack, in the small confines of the space, filled with bodys, make it difficult to maneuver but the girl seems well possessed! Forget the screaming girl, freaked out over spiders, right now she seems dedicated to her task and poor Ben. It seems as if her one and only goal is to see just how many times she can whack him upside the head before he goes down.
  322.
  323.
  324. That poor fleshlight. It just arches up, zooming overhead and then.. does nothing. No cock. No finger. Nothing. It gets nothing. Maybe it got heated over towards the wall by the claw as the little leopard dodges the claw with a feline grace, but.. that is the only thing that came out of this. Badal glances around, looking to everyone else to see if he needs to go to them. It's when he's looking at those on the front line does he see who it is and gets confused. "What the fuuu..." He starts out, but then hears that scream from Kiah and he begins to dart over there. No weapon on hand, but he seems like he's about to try and grab her.
  325. Temple Dice> Ben Collins (#9287) rolls: 3 3 2 = 8
  326. (Attack)
  327. Ben had just pulled his arm back for another blow when Kiah grabs his whip and pulls it from his hand. He glares at Frank. "Let her go, you sick freak..." He looks back toward Kiah, even as she kidneypunches him. "Kiah, fight it, don't let him use you." He raises his arms, trying to protect his head as she beats on him, kicks out trying to get her legs out from under her, but that doesn't seem to do much good.
  328.
  329. Daddy Frank -- not their wraith, false alarm...damn, will they ever find that sneaky devil? is taking a beating from the adventurers, and they're paying the price with wave after wave of gaseous stench coming out of his rotting body. One of the blows, Purraj's from behind, knocks his cowl off, revealing a rotting face and burnt off hair and scalp. Some of it has already been eaten down to the bone by maggots and beetles and things. But that thing just keeps on ticking! And so does Kiah, who seems awfully determined to kick Ben's ass. Mmm, it's kind of sexy. Except it smells too bad in here for anything to be hot right now.

  359. The Jaeghar has a real sense for when the killing blow is there, drawing from years and years of experience as an adventurer, bodyguard, and more, and he knows that right now he's getting the better of this decaying thing before him. Kaerphram shifts his stance, accepting the next strike from the wraith without any making effort to dodge it and the hissing sizzle of those vile bones into the big panthera does nothing to divert his own strike. It's a powerful one, both arms coming down over his head to in front of him, a full cleaving blow aimed right for the Dead Meat Daddy Frank's face. There's a sick crack and a meaty thunk as the axeblade finds its intended target and Kaer snarls as he keeps up the force, paying no heed at all to the blood and acid dripping from his side and chest.
  360. Purraj continues to assault the dead thing with fast strikes from her sharp blades, each aimed to specific locations that would at least be vulnerable to normal things, though likely not as effective against something that is already dead, it should still cause damage.

  369. Badal has been on his way over to help, wondering how he could without hurting Kiah, and in his haste the feline had gotten out the only thing handy from his hips which was the buttinator. He's looking at it when a slice from the claw gets him from behind. He can't help anymore. That claw manages to find a weak point in Badal's armor and slips in between his ribs where it hooks him and tosses him to the side without the feline even realize what is going on at first. He just sits there a moment, looking confused and then tries to suck in a breath as pain begins to spread along his body and blood leaks out his back. Out of just shock, he wings the King Cock shaped things at the dead Daddy and it might bop him in his dead nipple but most likely not much more.
  370.
  371. Darion blinks and looks over his shoulder at Kiah. "Now why aren't you like that with spiders?" he says, as Ben gets the beat up/choked/kidney punched. When another of Badal's sex toys flies by and bounces rubberiffically off the wall, Darion then stares at the feline with a 'What the fuck?' look. Amused and trying not to laugh, he says, "Dude. Just cut the sucker." He demonstrates, whacking off one of Daddy Frank's arms. Kaerphram does several measures better, and that rotten skull cracks open, oozing greenish-brown liquibrains. The king cock finishes ricocheting around, bouncing off Purraj last and lessening her sneak attack, finally bopping Frank in the booty. Daddy Frank emits a tired, high moan and collapses, dead (again). Kiah still seems to be after Ben, though. Perhaps it isn't Frank controlling her?

  374. You know those crazy girls who cat fight pulling hair digging nails and grabbing at anything around them? This is Kiah tonight, since Ben is still between her and Daddy, she is determined to beat him out of her way, snarling and biting like a wild animal. Unfortunately for the girl, Ben gets some of his wherewithal to regain composure and punch her (didn't Ben learn he's not supposed to punch girls!). When she feels him make contact with her, and not used to being *punched*, she jumps back getting the wind knocked out of her, wheezing and leaning against the hall "You will regret that" she says mencingly glaring at the Acolyte.
  375.
  376.
  377. The bejeweled flashlight our trusty bard brought along, and has since forgotten in favor of choking out Ben, illuminates the room a bit. Grave dust and smoke from the clash swirl around in its spotlight. The walls have three vertical stone coffins lined up around them, and one more coffin on a short dais in the center of the small room. The adventurers, and dead Frank, take up most of the rest of the room.
  378.
  379.
  380. That greataxe is jerked free from the re-corpse dismissively as Kaer glances over to where Badal is. "Burn this trash, NOW." snarls the panthera as he shifts his grip on his axe to just one hand, the other going under his robes to pull out a small flask. Using his thumb the panthera pops the top of it before pouring it over one of those open wounds on his chest, causing it to froth up and fizzle more while he looks around the room. To the coffins the Jaeghar motions before he heads towards the one on the dias. "A bit too obvious?" muses Kaer as he starts to wash out the second wound with what's left of that flask. The first wound is no longer fizzling but it still glistens from the damage done to him.
  381. Purraj sees the thing collapse, and then notices something else going on with one of the slaves being all uppity, and she knows how to handle that! Sheathing her knives as she walks clsoer to that and takes out her whip, striking it along Kiah's back and the back of her legs both once to see if the sharp sting from that will shake her out of whatever is controlling her.
  382. Temple Dice> Purraj (#30749) rolls : 2 2 1 +5 = 10
  383. (Whip Master)
  384. <OOC> Kaerphram plays the Price is Right failure horn.
  385. <OOC> Darion says, "lol"
  386.
  387. Badal just sits there against the wall where he landed, smiling faintly as he seems to be trying to touch his back but can't seem to get it right with either of his hands. "Yeah.. I'll get him next time." He says, licking his lips as he takes in another hard breath and grunts a bit. "Ok.. yeah.." He tries to get up when told (so he thinks) to burn the body, making it most of the way up before sliding back down and leaving a nice heavy trail of blood before he settles back down on the grounds a bit. "I.. I think I just need to get air into my lungs. That's all. I can do it in a minute."
  388. <OOC> Darion says, "Kiah's not a Temple slave. Or a slave."
  389. <OOC> Purraj says, "Details."
  390. <OOC> Purraj says, "She is misbehaving in any case. :)"
  391. Temple Dice> Kiah (#6492) rolls : 3 2 6 +4 = 15
  392. (Kiah's whip defense)
  393. For the first time since Ben joined the temple, he's considering a haircut, because currently his hair is pullable and a little too convenient for Kiah. "Holy shit, Kiah, get a hold of yourself!" He lashes out, just wanting her to stop. But for the first time in this adventure, his blow connects and makes Kiah double over. He winces, almost going to her to make sure if she's alright, but then he remembers she's being controlled. "Kiah, try and get the wraith out of your head!"
  394. <OOC> Kiah giggles "Oh Purraj!" *grins*
  395. Temple Dice> Kaerphram (#1588) rolls : 2 1 5 +3 = 11
  396. (First Aid / Nothing a bit of SoCo can't fix / And you can drink what's left.)
  397. <OOC> Kaerphram says, "That was close"
  398. Sometimes, when you've just had enough, you've...just had enough. "Fuck no, you are not burning that body right now. We're still down here and it's hard enough to breath as it is," Darion points at Badal. And then Purraj dares to whip one of their own, and he turns to her next. "If you ever touch Kiah again, I will melt your brain. Ever since you got here, you've been at her throat. I don't know if this is stupidity or typical jealousy at another female on your part, but if you can't exercise basic self-control, then you can leave right now." Darion heads over to where Ben and Kiah are in their altercation, and stands between them, "Both of you are going to the Pit with me when we're done here, if this doesn't end. Now let's finish this, and get the hell out of here. Understand?"
  399.
  400. Purraj gives a look at Darion. "Do you not see she is possessed by something and is attacking the boy. I am just trying to get her to snap out of it before she seriously injures him."
  401. Kiah has reconnected.
  402.
  403. Kaerphram's eyes narrow as he looks at Darion, the jaeghar's thin tail flicking about rather sharply behind him. "You've already killed that thing before. I just killed it again. Do you really want to have to kill it a third time?" he growls, his demeanor not helped any when Darion goes after Purraj next. "He's clearly got things under control. Maybe he knows the secret grope that will get her to be herself again." states the panthera as he steps up to the one coffin that's separate from the other two. That axe gets spun about in his hand as he looks at it, clearly deciding between one approach to another with it before he shrugs, "Fuck it." growls the panthera, his axe coming around, counterweight first, to knock the stone lid up and off the top of it.
  404.
  405. "Darion she's being mind controlled! We need to find the wraith or whatever it is that's controlling her! Put me in the Pit if you want, but leave her out of it, it's not her fault." Ben looks to Kaerphram, holding his hands up. "Respectfully, I would say that we have no problem burning the body, just to wait until we're not in a very small room with it. We'll light it once we're out of here and not getting choked out by smoke. Though if anything were to honor his memory, being choked out by his fumes would be it."
  406.
  407. "I can't.. breathe.." Badal just sits there on the ground, his tail flat in the dirt and dust as he looks up at everyone and his voice is quiet, more of a wheeze that might not be heard over the talk in the room. He hehs softly, resting the back of his had against the wall as he just looks up at the ceiling. He licks his lips, his spit starting to be stained pink. He's breaths are hard, raspy and thin as he just looks like he is starting to get sleepy.
  408.
  409. Not feeling Purraj's whip strike her, whether it's from the curse or something else the felines weapon doesn't phase her, even as it licks against the bare skin on the back of her legs. She jumps up goes to start attacking Ben again. For some reason, all of a sudden, when Purraj mentions injuries, Darion speaks to her, and she hears Ben's pleas, Kiah settles *right* down. "Oh?" she shakes her head, causing long chestnut locks to rustle behind her. She looks down to the floor, playing with the Obsidian pendant on her bracelet. "I'm not sure what came over me." she looks to everyone "I'm sorry, I just felt horribly afraid for some reason, needing to get out".
  410.
  411. Kiah has partially disconnected.
  412.
  413. Kaer sighs at how not only does Badal not do what he instructed by Ben protests the order as well, the Jaeghar shaking his head a bit, "Necromantic energies could take a week or more to reanimate that thing, or they could take moments. I'd rather not risk that and I know that none of you are going to take hits from it like I have. Is the risk less dangerous than the smell?" he questions before he looks at the coffin and, if necessary, gives the lid a firmer shove to expose what might be inside that sole coffin.
  414.
  415. Darion nods to Ben, "What he said," when Ben explains to Kaerphram why burning a corpse right now is a Really Bad Idea and it'll be fine to wait a little longer. He turns to watch Kaer smashing away at one of the coffins. "We don't want to be as bad as the grave robbers," he says gently. "We are here to put a stop to the vandalism and help Kiah get free of the curse. As for Kiah, it's not her fault this is happening, and she doesn't deserve to be scarred by the whip for it." He returns his gaze to Purraj, bent over as she is in the low-ceiling room, and says, "If you can't think of a more civilized way to help a fellow acolyte than hurting them, then perhaps you shouldn't be trusted with a deadly weapon when in the presence of your brethren. Now I appreciate you both coming down to join us, but it may be best if you leave now. This group has been through a lot together, and while we may not be invincible like Kaer is, we'll be all right. Thank you for your assistance."
  416.
  417. Purraj frowns at Darion's words. "Your words show how little you know of what you are talking about. I am very well capable controlling how much strength I put behind the whip so it will produce a sharp sting without even breaking skin, much less leaving permanent marks."
  418. You paged Kaerphram with 'Whats up with that guy suddenly turning super hostile?'
  419. From afar, Kaerphram has no fucking idea.
  420. Kaerphram pages: It's pretty much just killed any enjoyment I was having.
  421. Ben pushes past Darion as Kiah finally gets a grip. He pulls her to him in a hug. "How about one of you guys drag the body up into the main part of the room where the fire already is and burn him up there, where we're out of the smoke and it has somewhere to go? That way we don't choke and die, nor do we have to worry about his body being reanimated." He frowns at Purraj, putting himself between her and Kiah.
  422.
  423. There is a lot of blood now. A lot of it pooling around Badal. His plea for help wasn't heard, which sucks, because he's been bleeding pretty hard and the smallest of the big cats here just goes a bit.. nap time. He doesn't speak anymore, and his chest moves a bit though each bit of air is struggled for and wet sounding as he's preaching his own blood in as his head flops down and the snow leopard slides off to the side and just kinda.. lays there.
  424. You paged (Mepiquat, Europa) with 'Well if thats the case then feel free to drop me to rank 1 in the guild, Mepi, as like I said, I mainly just do some training rp there sometimes.'
  425. *breathing
  426.
  427. With that Kaer turns to look at Darion for a few moments before he turns his attention over to where Badal is, the panthera frowning when he sees that the leopard has collapsed against the wall and he can smell blood that isn't his. "You'll be all right, which is why the kitten is bleeding out." growls Kaer. He returns the axe to his back, leaving the coffin behind so that he can go over to where Badal is. There isn't time to examine the young acolyte, especially in the darkness, so he goes to scoop up Badal into his arms in order to carry him out.
  428. Purraj just shakes her head some at the suddenly grumpy person and then focuses her attention on something more important, that being the obviously injured Badal, and seeing that her mate had the same idea, she lets him to pick the smaller male up and do the carrying. "Lets make sure he doesn't bleed out, since apparently his holiness is too busy to help him."
  429.
  430. Darion's nose finally catches the scent of freshly spilt blood from Badal's dildo corner. As Kiah and Ben are no longer in a death match, he can move on to the next crisis. "Leave Badal alone, Kaerphram. I can heal him, and I know very well how much he can take. In spite of you and Purraj 'toughening him up' -- he was quite strong already. If you move him, I can't heal him."
  431.
  432. From afar, Kaerphram is done.
  433. <OOC> Kaerphram is going to bow out now.
  434. Kaerphram leaves the cemetery, moving into the Parvis beyond.
  435. Kaerphram has left.
  436. <OOC> Darion says, "You too, Purraj."
  437. You paged Darion with 'What exactly is your problem? You suddenly just turned super hostile for no apparent reason.'
  438. Darion pages: From the very beginning you've been rude. We were tolerant until it went too far. Sorry you don't like it, but that's what happens when you act like an ass. ICA=ICC
  439. <OOC> Darion says, "Or we can leave, if you aren't able."
  440. You paged Darion with 'The hell? So trying to stop allies from killing each other is acting like an ass?'
  441. <OOC> Darion says, "In response to Purraj's page: We've already been over why your char's behavior was inappropriate. The adult thing to do is apologize. You're holding up the scene. Could you please leave, now?"
  442. <OOC> Ben Collins says, "WTF leaving the whole group because of a little tiff?"
  443. <OOC> Darion says, "It wasn't even an OOC tiff, either."
  444. <OOC> Darion says, "OK, guys. I'm sorry. I should have screened people better before allowing them to join and made sure this was going to be a fit."
  445. <OOC> Purraj says, "Well for no reason at all, you suddenly went full 180 to being a total asshole ic towards us."
  446. Taikishi steps in from the Parvis of the Temple.
  447. Taikishi has arrived.
  448. <OOC> Darion says, "I explained why, Purraj. I don't see a point in repeating myself a third time."
  449. <OOC> Taikishi says, "What's going on?"
  450. <OOC> Purraj says, "Darion is making people quit the faction with his asshole behaviour."
  451. <OOC> Darion says, "Purraj attacked Kiah, ICly, just now. After verbally attacking her earlier and generally being a jerk. So Darion told her to knock it off, ICly. Then Kaerphram defended her and started destroying the cemetery's coffins. Darion told him not to do that, and Purraj continued to be a total jerk. Kaer left, and Purraj continued to be a jerk. And is now refusing to leave the scene she crashed."
  452. <OOC> Darion says, "Purraj and Kaer can't separate IC conflict (not even conflict they caused by attacking another cleric) and OOC."
  453. <OOC> Darion has the log, and is happy to share.
  454. <OOC> Purraj says, "I didn't attack her, I just patted her with the whip to snap her out of the mind control that was causing her to attack the rest of us."
  455. <OOC> Ben Collins says, "Only person she was attacking was me. And Darion separated us. He had it handled."
  456. <OOC> Purraj says, "And the verbal attack you talk of? I guess you forgot the part where she was threatening to shave Badal which it was response to."
  457. <OOC> Purraj says, "He did that after I hit her with the whip."
  458. <OOC> Taikishi says, "Okay, let's back this up to the beginning. I'd like the whole story, please. What's this about mind control, what happened, and how?"
  459. <OOC> Darion says, "She wasn't threatening to shave Badal. And even if she did say something like that, her and Badal are close enough and have been through things that would make saying that OK. Not your biz."
  460. <OOC> Purraj says, "And apparently Darion has really interesting idea of what being a jerk is..."
  461. <OOC> Taikishi says, "First, let's stop with the name calling. It's not going to get us anywhere except more arguing."
  462. <OOC> Badal says, "Badal had brought up that he just didn't want to have his fur shaved for toughening him up. It's a theme with Badal and meeting people who always seem to want to shave him. It's weird. I think it was taken wrong and I didn't help by trying to be light hearted about it and saying about asking to leave the tail."
  463. <OOC> Taikishi says, "Second, would like a little more detail on what was going on that led to all of this. If you want to page it to me, that's fine. If you want to email it to me (taikishi@yahoo.com) that's fine, too."
  464. <OOC> Darion nods. "I'll send you the log after I finish the scene.
  465. <OOC> Darion says, "I appreciate your trying to help, but this has been delayed long enough, and Kaer's actions are his own."
  466. Darion goes home.
  467. Darion steps into the darkness that enshrouds Darion's corner of the room.
  468. Darion has left.
  469. Kiah follows at the side of Darion.
  470. Kiah steps into the darkness that enshrouds Darion's corner of the room.
  471. Kiah has left.
  472. Badal follows at the side of Darion.
  473. Badal steps into the darkness that enshrouds Darion's corner of the room.
  474. Badal has left.
  475. Ben Collins follows at the side of Darion.
  476. Ben Collins steps into the darkness that enshrouds Darion's corner of the room.
  477. Ben Collins has left.
  478. <OOC> Purraj says, "Basically we were doing this d&d style dungeon crawl session, the bad guy possessed Kiah or something like that and she started attacking the rest of the party, my character hit her once with the whip to try to snap her out of it, and this made Darion for some reason to totally lose his shit and go ballistic towards me and Kaer."
  479. <OOC> Taikishi nods and is talking with Europa about it.
  480. <OOC> Taikishi sweeps to make sure nothing else is here.
  481. <OOC> Purraj says, "I didn't even hit her hard, it was just a little tap."
  482. <OOC> Taikishi says, "You wouldn't happen to have a log, would you?"
  483. <OOC> Purraj says, "Well its all in my backlock so I can save it."
  484. <OOC> Purraj says, "backlog even"
  485. <OOC> Taikishi says, "would you, please?"
  486. <OOC> Taikishi wants to make sure both versions match up.
  487. <OOC> Purraj says, "Where do I send it to?"
  488. <OOC> Taikishi says, "You can email it to me if you want. Probably easiest."
  489. <OOC> Taikishi says, "taikishi@yahoo.com or quicksilver.tfly@gmail.com depending on which you're more comfortable with"
