Grshak Lemur

Race: Orc

Appearance: Grshak stands at 6'2, having the general orc-colored skin. He's less bulky than most orcs, but still a bit bulkier than most humans. He has hair the color of his skin, his eyes being the same color as his skin as well. Beyond this, he wears glasses because he has trouble seeing without them, but he'd be able to manage it. He also wears clothes that humans have worn out and expanded for him.

Personality: Grshak, contrary to popular belief, is not interested in fighting most of the time. He just wants to prove that he is not what people expect, and, to this extent, he had gone into researching.

Equipment: He carries with him two satchels and a large pack, the satchels holding ink and the currently-timed writing utensil in one and the other being filled with paper. The pack on his back holds some of the bones of his real parents, the arm bones, leg bones, skulls, and spines.

Background: Grshak's parents hardly knew him, being caught off guard and mauled by a bear merely minutes after he was born. Luckily, a pair of humans, wife and husband, had been tracking this specific bear for that day, being hunters. They killed the bear...and found, next to it, two dead orcs and an orc baby. They took pity on the baby, staying there that night and cleaning the bones of the parents, most of the meat having been ripped off by the bear. They ate the bear that night, keeping some of the larger bones of the parents, and took the child home with them. That is wear the legend of Grshak Lemur began, on that cold night. He was taken in, adopted by these parents, and raised as a human. However, a lot of the other humans in the town didn't appreciate the orc that they brought home, and treated him like dirt. This is why Grshak has grown up as he has, wanting to prove those people wrong, that he isn't just some barbarian, that he won't follow the stereotypes of his race. So, when he turned 18, he headed out, determining that he will become a wandering scholar in the world.
