- she lived like that for years , until around when maxine turned eight , her life flipped upside down in a matter of seconds . maxine' s parents had a huge fight and her father kicked her and her mother out . bad decision as her mother had all of the money , as the riches came from her side of the family . maxine and her mother ended up moving to busan of south korea , with her aunt , her mother' s sister . it was an odd place really . but , never the less , she continued on . maxine had , from then on , gone to a private all females school for due protection . she got .... decently good grades , but was disliked by many and often called a snob . turning nineteen , maxine moved out of his family' s house , earning , or per se - being GIVEN enough money to live alone , and she lives in a pretty large house . alone . it was lonely , but she was used to it .
- though , when she was about twenty one , her life was once again destroyed . her mother died in a shooting near her work place . now , maxine originally was very quiet and kept to herself , but her mother was confident and brave . maxine wanted to be like her ; so for the sake of her mother , she woman - ed up and tried her best to become more confident for her mother . she ended up in the ruby hotel when she didn' t pay for her house' s payments , despite having the money . after her mother died , she lost her spark . ] <

> she was indeed very surprised , she didn' t think an incredibly fancy hotel would appear out of nowhere , especially to someone like her . though , she was very grateful as well because ; without that hotel , she could' ve died .

▷ maxine definitely never thought that when she was getting a hotel to stay in that it would be that fancy . she' d honestly never seen anything like it before ; even in all the years of having a rich family .

▷ she was very happy about it actually , especially since there were so many places to be able to explore . and since there were people around , it was much more fun than living alone , no doubt .

▷ it was a bit nerve wracking to her , as she could not dance what so ever . but it was a task she was willing to take on because it actually looked fun .
