Hey guys,

So I’m a Software Engineer that took several psych courses in college because I loved psychology. I’ve had therapists help me out with depression and fell in love with wanting to help people out going through similar tragedies. It’s unfortunate that there arent many therapists around, and I would love to consider a path towards becoming one.

The question is though, what is the path to becoming one? It seems very unclear from the research i’ve done. I live in the state of GA if that helps. I have a degree in Computer Science, so I thought maybe a masters degree in Social Work could set me on the right path, but i’m very unsure. I would love to hear what yall would advise!
