- Rushing through trees, the cold winter air howling through the forest, snow streaking down from the sky - Hard hail. The sound of wolves barking in the distance. A half orc man sprints through the snow closely being trailed by a duo of elven warriors. In the lead a man with a long thin blade coated in mythril, he wears black leather armour his hair matching this, though his eyes are azure blue. Close behind him stood upon a rock, an elven woman, her skin pinkish and cheeks rosey, she has fiery red hair, emerald green eyes and wears cloth garments of the same colour. A bow held in her hand. She draws it back and fires as the dark clothed man commands her too his arm extended out pointing towards their opponent. Three arrows volley towards the half-orc yet pierce the tree beside him.
- He carries on fleeing. His dark hair tied up in a bun he has a murky olive skin tone, hazel eyes and two small tusks protruding from his lower mouth. In his right hand he carries a one handed, two headed orcish battle axe, in his left a nordic short sword with the runes of it's people carved into the blade. He wears only a pair of burlap trowsers, raggedy and torn.
- Suddenly the ground ends. He finds himself at a cliff staring into a beautiful valley, a river descends from snow tipped mountains in the distance into the valley where it courses through plains and trees. He glances down to the summit investigating the drop before turning to the party of elves and smirks holding his arms out to his side. The elven woman screams out "Thorakk!" as she watches the half-orc drift back off the ledge. Cascading down Thorakk grits his teeth channeling his orcish rage. Colliding with the rocks multiple times causing orcish grunts to echo throughout the valley. He eventually lands in the icy cold river, pulling himself up he wipes his mouth and spits blood into the water before continuing his sprint off into the woodland.
- "You ever seen an orc in battle?" Bork asked, as he takes a swig of ale.
- "Nae, what makes ye ask that?" replied Vekel doing the same.
- "They're like bears with strength.. Wolves with speed.. Got the might of the Gods some say. Never piss an orc off, they say once an Orc is enraged ye can't kill him.. It's in their blood ye see.."
- "Bullshite. I 'eard Yolmir killed an Orc, and our lass Adae they say she tamed an orcs heart."
- "If everyone were to believe what Yolmir says then he'd be one of the nine. I bet Ada could tame an orcs heart, ye seen that lassie bendin' over?"
- "Aye, heh.."
- A bar maid then walks over to the two, her hair a sandy blonde braided into two buns "What you lads talkin' 'bout now? - More ale?" she asks as she pours into their tankards. "Don't go sayin' any more about Ada, rumour says she's comin' back. Lost her husband and her son.."
- "Her son? Now then.. Didn't take long for him to die.. He can't be too old its only been a decade.." says Bork
- "He's part orc, part nord, he musta' grew up fast.. I wouldn't mind havin' an Orc man.. He'd do better than you two could" says the barmaid playfully as she returns to the front of the tavern.

- *Fourteen years prior*
- It was a normal day in the north of Aleron, the snow had fallen the night before leaving a crisp layer to blanket the small village of Norcott. The villagers had awoken at their usual time. Ravens sat atop the roofs of the wooden homes, the blacksmith Dallormier was hard at work, forging a blade the sound of his hammer hitting the hot metal echoes out to the woods. Tink, tink, tink.
- "Ada lass, get me some more coal would ya?" Dalormier asked. Tink, tink, tink.
- "Aye father." Said the young red haired woman, rushing into a small hut behind their house. "Uhh.. Coal.. That's wood.. I'll have to open this new sack.." She said as she rummaged. Tink, tink, -. "Father! I opened a new-"
- "Orrak mo taag!" screamed a large orc man. His murky green skin covered in scars and warpaint, raising his axe he swung down towards the woman until his eyes met with her. The glowing, primal rage in the eyes of the orc suddenly faded. He dropped his axe and slouched his shoulders, as if entranced by the young woman. She had dropped the sack of coal, though in fright not charm, her hand swiftly connected with the small dagger attached to her side pointing it towards the orc. "I'll cut out your guts!" she snarled.
- "Zu to- No, woman, what is your name? I.. help you." said the orc said dropping to one knee, now only a foot taller than her, "I am Torjack of the Wintershield clan. I can help you.. such a beautiful life does not need to be taken this day.."
- ".. This is one of your orc tricks! Why should I trust you, just a minute ago you were swingin' that axe at me."
- "Trust me or the others will take your life, like they did your blacksmiths."
- "..F-father..." Ada's words quivered as she looked down clenching her dagger tighter. She looked over her shoulder to the forest and then towards the orc.. "Tsk, fine."
- Torjack then stood up and hunched himself over in a manner to 'hide himself' although it was no use hidding, a eight foot tall bulky humanoid with green skin standing in a snowy plain. He patted the woman on her back, stroking her gently before giving her a slight push off "Go, go! I'll make sure no one sees you."
- Ada began to sprint, away her figure quickly fading into the dark forest. Torjack swiped his hands across the tracks to hide them before collecting his battle axe.
- The orcs pillaged the village, burning some of the houses and killing some of the men. Only three orcs died while nearly sixty men fell.
- "Torjack, son of Sinjir, Ragstock tells me you were seen with a human woman, one of these nordlings. How is it that she escaped?" a deep crackling voice said in the guttural tongue of orcish. An eight and a half foot tall orc with charcoal skin, and one red eye, the other with a large cross shaped scar covering it.
- "Duskrock, I have not met with any nordling women, I slayed their husbands but did not let them " replied Tojack
- ".. Meet help nordlings and now lie to your chieftan! Torjack, do you wish for your head to be taken!?" shouted Duskrock before raising his hand to the side and muttering to another orc. A slim orc walked from around a house, his features long and sharp more goblin like that orc yet he stood at six foot tall with a hunched back, his skin a pale green. Along his chest were a collection of runes written in orcish which read out 'Sinjir bone-licker'. Clenched tightly in his hands red locks as he dragged the woman through the snow "Here Duskrock, the nordling I caught, I caught her, Duskrock. He kicked her over at the feet of Torjack and hissed at him, drops of spit splattering from his tongue. She glared up towards him, her ocean blue eyes bloodshot and swollen, her cheeks red with anger and sadness, dried tears crusted down them. Torjack looked at his fellow orcs.
- "Torjack, slay this Nordling if you are not guilty, if you do not I shall slay her and you will be banished from our clan." said Duskrock
- Torjack looked down towards Ada and then back to his comrades. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to kneel. He took in a deep breath as his hand slowly reached for his axe, though in a blink of an eye he swooped low and picked up Ada carrying on her on his shoulder, he whistled with two fingers in his mouth and he began to sprint into the forest to the west of them, reaching the edge of it he leaped into the air and landed upon a ward. A large wolf life creature which stands fivefoot tall when on all fours. "Ride Fengrin, Ride!" he commanded in orcish.
- "After them!" screamed Duskrock in a rage, looking for his own warg. All the orcs headed off into the forest under the orders of Duskrock, leaving part of the village unscathed. After fifteen minutes or so the villagers began to unbar their doors to look outside, some of the men grabbing buckets of water to put out the burning homes.
