  1. Dream Team has always been a joke game especially for speedruns, I myself picked it up just so I could attempt to find glitches and for what it is now, I find pretty impressive for such a small community. I actually was against easy mode as well when I heard it was used against bosses and to fight that decision, I decided to do a run without it. The best I managed to reach was beating Mammoshka and at that point in the run I was around 2-3 hours behind the WR at that point which was quite a lot for not being even halfway through the game. I'd imagine the time would have gotten a couple more longer and even more just to grind for the last boss which in itself is just an RNG fest. I don't blame you for thinking the run is shit with easy mode abuse, but trust me, unless you've actually tried, you have no idea what it is like.

  3. I'd much rather use easy mode than grind enemies for 2 hours and have boss battles last 30 minutes, as it would pretty much drive an already bad speedgame even worse and possibly kill off the community. Not to mention it would also kill the entertainment of the run from viewers with all the sequence breaks done and having to wait so long to see the next one imo. Though I guess it could be made into a category, but we'll see if it'll end up getting any runners...

  5. But yeah I think that's about all. And yeah this is just my opinion on the matter, you're free to disagree with it, if you want. I'd rather you do a run yourself and then tell us what it was like.

  7. There's also the case of a gear named Hiking Boots that let you deal 150 POW allowing you to kill bosses even easier, but they seem to be in a grey area as of now, because to use them you need to walk 10000 steps in a day to get that POW out of them. The calendar is easy to abuse for it, but no one wants to do it for some reason. Again something I disagree with and am fine with allowing, but the situation hasn't really gotten anywhere.

  9. Who knows, as time goes on, maybe the game will change a bit, maybe it doesn't, but that's what I find cool about bad speedgames like these. There's always that small chance something is found that we didn't think about before.
